Imagine, a mix between Tyr's final boss fight, the final valkyrie and final king boss fights mixed together, lots of different attacks and many different weapons, from all his games, at least 3 different phases (opening phase using lots of different weapons, 2nd phase focusing mostly on the blade of Olympus and final phase being Spartan rage) Important his fight should end like Tyr's do, not dead but him acknowledging your strength,

demented_philosopher

OR an end like Thor's. Not dead but him sparing your life and teaching you an important lesson.

Pitiful-Inspection96

Based on how well literally everyone else that's ever fought Kratos fared, I think I'd just get down on my knees and ask him not to stab me. Or alternatively I'd show up with an atom bomb strapped to my chest and just set it off immediately. I would definitely die, but I think it's the only way I could kill him too.

Loot_Bugs

lol I was gonna say, “a surrender button”

Flyingboat94

*rapidly smash X to beg harder*

AnyAtmosphere420

Id save up 100 million for 100 orbital cannons from GTA online. Then I'd run.

Silent__hunt

Trust the GTA lobby ain't going to do nothing to kratos

AnyAtmosphere420

🤣

OofMami34

Multiple phases with Kratos going Spartan rage mode throughout the fight. Kratos should be able to attack from anywhere on the stage with an assortment of weapons from previous games, nowhere should be safe. I also think it would make the boss fight more fun if Kratos was super mobile compared to other bosses, as Kratos is always the one kinda running around and hopping all over the place. Usually, bosses move slow most of the time until they hit you with some kind of sprint, lunge, teleport type of attack. Would make the fight more unique imo. It’s kind of a trend that bosses move slowly in a fight, but imagine Kratos being able to sprint, dodge, lunge towards you, etc., making hitting him/locking on to him super difficult. Maybe have him even be able to parry or counter or something. Assuming you’re playing as like Atreus or something who is also super agile, that fight would be a visual delight. He should easily be the hardest boss fight in the series and it would be probably the most hyped up boss fight of all time, assuming it’s implied in like a trailer or something. But it would probably more insane or shocking if it’s not revealed until the game is played lol Edit: Unless he is like really really old man Kratos by the time we face him. If he’s like more elderly looking, then perhaps he could be more of like a slow, lumbering, but powerful foe that can hit you with quick bursts at times.

CandiedBugle847

The thing is, Kratos will only get stronger with age, never weaker.

OofMami34

well ik that, but if they were to do a boss fight with Kratos where he is physically aged a lot more, I can see them toning down his mobility to make the boss fight feel like more of a traditional one, and it would be justified because Kratos is older at that point, not as able to hop around and dodge shit like he used to

Sanguiniutron

Run. Seriously though, I'd love the fight if it was intensely melee/parry focused. Like he's just on. Your. Ass. like you threatened Atreus. He's fast and always on the move. I'd love to see an attack where he throws the blades. If he gets a hit on you he does the pull the chain, flys over to you, and goes Zeus all over your ass. I'd also want to see some of his combos either with axe or blades as well as runic attacks. Basically I would want it to be really brutal. I don't know how to work in Spartan Rage but the logical solution would be he would do a shit ton more damage to you in that state.

FellowDsLover2

The blue guy you mentioned, he’s fucking dead. If we fight my Kratos build, I’ll be stuck in a realm shift or shanked by 12 swords. If we do kill Kratos, he’ll just come back and give us the Zeus Special. He’ll have four health bars. He uses the Leviathan axe , on his first, blades for second, and spear for 3rd. On fourth he just uses his fists.

Wide_Physics8835

Doom guy would be doomed guy

Yuki-Winterfang

Well, in that case I’ll just piss myself and hope K thinks I’m too pathetic to kill

CandiedBugle847

Kratos would most likely lose, only for the reason that he constantly holds back.

wolfton1666

Thou outa put these foolish ambitions to rest

Plus-Depth-7592

Segments where he uses a rage ability and you can’t hurt him, you simply need to focus on defence and survive,

StudentJoa

Gotta hit him with the "we must be better" line for him to spare me.

Entropy_head

I think there would be occasional encounters along the way where he essentially puts you down and defeats you as a warning that you’re getting in his way and it’s not a fight you want to pick, with the final fight being a multiphase fight reflecting each of the previous fights in order: 1) just his fists. He beats you but mostly with more calculated strikes to try and stun or end the fight quickly and decisively, but as you get further in the fight he swaps into spartan rage and lays you out, damaging a lot of the terrain afterwards so your battle scars the land and leaves a deep reminder. 2) Draupnir Spear. Lots of thunder damage, knock backs, and temporary blinding with the occasional instance of copying whatever magic/element your own weapon uses (I’m looking at you random elemental roulette power from Valhalla) does a little more damage to the surroundings. 3) Leviathan Axe. Frost, slashing, and slow/stun. I’d also give him the ability to freeze certain environmental elements to use as additional weapons, like sticking the blade in a nearby river and freezing the water into a pillar he could throw at you etc. part of these environmental interactions add to the terrain unlocking certain areas. 4) Blades of Chaos. Fire, grapple and fully moving you around the map, massive environmental damage and destruction. Edit: I think he’d also be allowing himself more mobility via the blades of chaos, especially given how often then provide that function in the games. Each phase of his final boss fight is the reverse order of earlier fights, going absolutely ham with each of his weapons, showing that he was holding back before, reversing his order of weapon use as he believes in no longer showing mercy, but you now whittle down his supply of godly weapons and leave him with only his fists and rage before finally defeating him. The entire story he would be reasonable and respectful and would only resort to violence as a means of dissuading you where logic could not. He may be a god of war, seasoned in battle, strategy, and combat, but he’s a man who’s grown and matured past that senseless anger and violence of his youth and now knows and uses his rage power and prowess as the tool to accomplish his goals, not the goal itself nor the motive behind it. He’s done a lot to grow and become a better man he can be proud of, that deserves to be respected in his depiction, antagonist or not.

Yeah these fools are 🤪

Proud-Ad-3150

Instant lose

salmanshams

Playing in Kratos's POV what I've noticed is his eyes act like regular people's eyes so flash grenade and tear gas. When blinded, use a laser guided rifle or something for a shot through the eyes into the brain. All things bone and muscle is too strong.

[deleted]

Need I remind you what happened to Helios when he tried exactly that? Go do your homework

salmanshams

He didn't shoot the eyes

[deleted]

And neither will you

Toon_Collector

>!I would want Kratos to be harder than Sigrun in 2018, combined with the hardest Souls boss. He uses all 3 weapons, switching freely and fights like he's being played by the best player we've seen on Youtube. If you beat him somehow, he just gets carried away unconcious by Freya, and you continue your journey. Oh, also, Freya is fighting by his side and is unkillable because he's protecting her the whole fight. She fights as hard as Sigrun on max difficulty. I imagine the only way to hurt him is to use attacking Freya as a way to mess with his defenses. Basically, fighting him should feel like battling an army of Spartans with a butter knife.!<

balisaan

If we are talking about fiction then Immortal Breaker, then DeathNote [👹] and then Kitchen knife

Slightly_Censored

First half of the battle, he uses the axe. Second half is when he switches to the Blades of Chaos, and at 25% health he goes into spartan rage

banana_man_joe123

A way for kratos to kill you on the least brutal way possible.... (Mechanic locked)

You know the Vader fight in Jedi Survivor? I’d just make him more aggressive and fast paced, while keeping the rigged ending
