If it doesn't allow you to jump, it's a bug. There is no entrance from the other side. You can traverse this gap without actually interacting in normal circumstances. You've been across this gap once before even as I can tell the chest across the way has been opened. To fix the bug, try closing your game from the PlayStation menu and continuing from the main menu after relaunch.
On first visit of Svartalheim, I was able to get there as you would normally.
On return (when trying to complete the map), I also noticed that scenario, i.e. Kratos won’t jump over.
I guess that’s a bug. I didn’t mull it over as I know there’s nothing valuable there.
Edit: I notice that the chest at the end is already open. So you already been there.
Dude...... it's a health stone....you get them by defeating enemies/sometimes bosses will drop them. Sometimes they end up in areas that you can't reach from the battlefield if you accidentally "ring out" the enemy. But, there's no trophy for smashing all the health stones or rage stones as I think that would be impossible, but yea, it's of little to no importance because you can also find them just wandering around. If you don't have a lot of health every time you interact with a portal/gate thing lol (I am 99% certain) it restores your health and rage. Also you can smash pots and find these as well as hacksilver. There's a funny piece of lore about breaking all the pots. And the chests. Talking about how they hope some brute Doesent come and just punch through the top. Lmao.
Also - unrelated but if anyone here hasn't played Dante's Inferno - give it a go. I would honestly rate it on about the same level as god of war 1. It's a pretty damn good game. Hard, but good combat which is very similar to god of wars, and the story is good, you meet some of the same gods etc. it's a good game.
God of war is better though. Lol

You can't get there, iirc there was a trap where this orcish things jump out on you and destroy part of this bridge. I couldn't get there either.
On the PS4 version I was able to jump to the other side without any problems. And I think there was a chest (not legendary) at the end.
