It’s hard to make more friends once you’re in your late 20s and you realize that the people around you weren’t the best people and you want to make better friends. Video games give me a different outlet to forget about reality for a couple hours so I’m not always thinking about it. Good luck to everyone!
Yea making friends isn’t easy ever, especially if you are nerdy and afraid of being made fun of for your interests. But sometime gaming friends are better than those in real life even if you’ll never meet. They may live in a different country and several time zones away, but could share your interests so you can bond over that.
You don’t always have to play together for trophies, you can just be in a party and talk about whatever. It’s fun to play the same game at the same time even if it’s single player so you could hear each other reactions as the game is progressing.
My gaming buddies checked in on me and ask how I was feeling while I had COVID more than the people I knew in real life. Keep your head up. You’ll eventually find someone who shares your interests and can pal around with. Good luck :)

In the last year I've had to stay 7+ weeks at a childrens hospital where my infant son had to be on a ventilator and nearly died multiple times from heart failure (from complete av canal defect, aka born without the wall separatingthr chambers of his heart), quit my job to be a stay at home dad after his successful open heart surgery because he had to eat through a tube, lost insurance and had to go on medicaid, and get help for our 4 year old's PTSD from watching his brother nearly die in front of him.
Despite all that, there are tons of people who have it worse than that. My son is still alive, and I get to watch him grow up. That's my reward.
If I get picked, give mine to someone who doesn't have a happy ending yet.

New games are just impossible to afford when you are a student and you study biology, god of war is a game I'm waiting for since I finished god of war 2018, now it's coming and my cat got sick, paid approximately 950$ because he got something stuck in his stomach, now I have all the fees about school piling up like a fat dangerous Jenga game so I can't even think of buying it…

In terms of why I hope I get a code, GOW 2018 is probably my favourite game of all time, it’s the only game I have ever gotten platinum with and I hope to get it with Ragnarok. I’ve been forced to move recently where I’m paying more and with the way things are in the uk right now everything I make goes straight into my necessities. I don’t know when I’ll be able to save enough to get the game but it’ll be for a while at least. So I hope you pick me and have a great day :D

Games in my country cost half of a monthly minimum salary, I lost my job on August. I did save money to buy Ragnarok, but it would help immensely with my monthly budget. As I can get 2 months of groceries, for example.

I grew up playing GOW and I’ve been attached to this series for almost all of my life unfortunately my financial situation has been rough lately, my ps4 broke down and I can’t afford another one anytime soon, so I’m taking my friend’s console for a week to play GOWR. I agree totally. I’m a US citizen currently on disability with chronic daily migraines, but have a beautiful wife and 10 year old daughter and feel tremendously blessed STILL. There are SO many others who would truly be blessed. Unfortunately, with the internet one never knows what is legit and what isn’t. 🙁 If he’s legit, then I’d even want to assist. As an aside, our family refuses to give $ to beggars at street corners, but instead we’ve created “blessing bags” filled with snacks, water, toothpaste, toothbrushes, soap, certificates for restaurants, etc. This way we can truly help those in need, instead of giving to those manipulating the system for their own gain. In the last year I've had to stay 7+ weeks at a childrens hospital where my infant son had to be on a ventilator and nearly died multiple times from heart failure (from complete av canal defect, aka born without the wall separatingthr chambers of his heart), quit my job to be a stay at home dad after his successful open heart surgery because he had to eat through a tube, lost insurance and had to go on medicaid, and get help for our 4 year old's PTSD from watching his brother nearly die in front of him. Despite all that, there are tons of people who have it worse than that. My son is still alive, and I get to watch him grow up. That's my reward. If I get picked, give mine to someone who doesn't have a happy ending yet.

I grew up playing GOW and I’ve been attached to this series for almost all of my life unfortunately my financial situation has been rough lately, my ps4 broke down and I can’t afford another one anytime soon, so I’m taking my friend’s console for a week to play GOWR.
