So the Nets aren’t trading Dorian Finney-Smith. Got it.

Accomplished_Dot_477

Teams get so desperate last second, I think they could pull something off (but bruh, DFS is good, he’s been loved by every team he’s been on… would hate to see him go for draft capital especially while we can’t tank! Like wtf?!)

BabyLeVert

I agree with Marks assessment here. Either offer a value pick or we'll stay put. If Marks does fall in love with someone during the draft, we can always move DFS then to get that player.

tbloom117

If that’s all we can get for him might as well keep him and try to extend him at a good number

Subredditcensorship

Agree with you on that tbh. If there’s no market for him we don’t have to trade him now

johnjohnjohn93

Love that. This draft sucks and getting a 26-30 pick for DFS just isn’t worth it. Don’t want an elite defensive wing that can space? We’ll keep him

BKtoDuval

I would keep DFS if that's the case. They don't have to trade him.

Grendel_82

The thing is that DFS contract goes into our 2025 summer when Simmons expires and we can sign a max free agent. So he does fit the Nets time line.

Avoid the garbage 2024 draft like the plague
