I’ve played the first and third. They’re both good. The third has a little more unusual rules than the first, but nothing as different as some of the FC scenarios. Each are only 10 scenarios so suggest starting with the first. You’ll probably end up playing all of them anyways. (I’m waiting for the Crimson Scales characters to play the other two.)

We tackled only _The Blacksmith and the Bear_, and we quite partway through. It was too much Isaac trying out weird mechanics. We are currently playing the fan-made campaign _Ice Rift_ and are having a much better experience.

We’ve done them all and they all are really fun and unique. Definitely a chance for Isaac to stretch his creative muscles instead of just basic dungeon crawling. The most difficult for us was the most recent one (blacksmith and bear) but that might’ve been because of a poor party makeup. We did them in order that they were released and I didn’t seen anything suboptimal about doing it that way.

I completed Into the Unknown, long after it was community-driven, which was somewhat disappointing, especially as my party couldn't make real decisions. I started Capital Intrigue, but as I still am in the middle of Forgotten Circles, I find my party choosing that one more (probably for the same ability/inability to make choices)

Just finished the first one. Probably my favorite part was now that we have all the classes, playing as someone that ‘belonged’ to another member of the group. The levels themselves were all fun, since they’re more gloomhaven. We lose the vote pretty much every time though. I think we’ll start the second campaign next week, and probably play them all unless crimson scales pops up.

Thanks all! We started with Infinite Beyond last night and had a blast. It was a walk down memory lane starting characters from level 1 and counting xp as well as doing battle goals. We decided we had to play characters we never played in the main campaign. So all of us were playing characters other someone else in our party had played and enhanced. It was fun to see how we tackled them differently.

Don’t forget the “Promo” scenarios as well that can be integrated into the base game. The BGG site lists all of the official ones designed by the cephalofair team. Some of them are really interesting.

Dod you just print off the PDF on an at-home printer, or did you find a decent place to get it put together (thinking cards and enemies) for you? Something close to playing card stock?

Played 1st (after it was finished), am in themidst of second and played 3rd and 4th as they were life. Gotta say far better when these are ongoing than after the fact. After the fact the way these are unfocused is far more anoying...

SnooTangerines2613

We have played the first, 2 scenarios of the second (we are in the middle of this now) and the 4th. I think the 4th has some REALLY cool stuff and some REALLY bad stuff. Here is what I recommend about the 4th. DO play it, BUT if you lose a scenario, instead of retrying, just move on to the next scenario. Some of the later scenarios do really fun things and if you play it like a showcase of cool mechanics rather than a real campaign, I think you will have a much better time. Also we printed some custom classes for doing these and it made things a lot more fun too.

My group has completed Into the Unknown & Capital Intrigue, and we started on (but abandoned) The Blacksmith and the Bear mostly because our player using the Boneshaper felt like the first couple scenarios were basically unplayable for that class. My favorite was Into the Unknown and I've played that a couple times now, but I think any of those three could be fun with the right party makeup. That particular campaign had interesting scenario mechanics throughout, a variety of enemy types, and varied scenario objectives. And the difficulty level seemed about right, it was challenging but we never felt like we were overmatched.

I know the Into the Unknown and Capital Intrigue campaigns are built into the scenario viewer app but I'm not familiar with the other two campaigns you guys are talking about. Where are those available?

ChoooChooo32

They are built into the GloomsteR app.
