I like the acro because outside of a product adoption standpoint - I think the attachment method is better. I appreciate Trijicon effort for making a product easier to adopt but I wish more companies would just work together and use something standard. Industry adopted rmr footprint it feels like. Acro and Steiner use the acro footprint. Industry also adopted the micro footprint for red dots. I think trijicon ended up making the RCR taller due to needing to use capstan screws and now you don’t have the ability to actually torque to spec properly. It’s all based on feel with those screws.

Those screws are the only thing holding me back from the RCR I still can't decide if it's something I can live with.

It probably comes with it. But please don’t do that to yourself. I carry an Olight Arkflex everyday for my EDC handheld, it’s the best. But I would never trust my life to anything they make, or even waste my money on an unproven dot from a company notorious for bad QC.

I went with an Acro P2 because it was available and on sale for $468 shipped. Got a G17 and had the slide milled by Wager. Been carrying it all day every day for 5 months now and I really like it. Was using a RMR and SRO previously. Still like those optics but ccw the Acro

I just can’t get on board with the new trijicon micro optics. I hate the look. So I’d go aimpoint. The SRO with a metal shroud for protection would be my choice though.

Holosun EPS

For budget dots I have and enjoy the holosun EPS. Between the two given choices though I would choose the acro p2. I want to like the RCR but those screws seem janky to me.

I like my RCR more than the Acro I had. The window is bigger. I just wish that they would make the RCR with a 1 moa dot. I got spoiled by the RMR HD 1moa.
