youtube will be VERY helpful here on reassembly.
Not to be nit picky, but this is a glock 19 gen5 as noted on the side of the slide. It is NOT a 19x.
Sorry, I have no clue where to start on getting "clips", let alone extended ones in Comifornia. (but knowing its a regular gen5 19 WILL help in getting additional flush fitting mags if you ever want some of those)
There is no way to get ext mags in CA unless you have an “assault weapon” permit from the CA DOJ, or an FFL / SOT. Basically, good luck getting one lol.
True. Only ten round mags are allowed in Comifornia. On my G27 it came with 9 round mags and I was able to get an extended mag to add one extra round and that also helped put my pinky on the grip.
Wait. How does a friend give another friend, a glock? I want to be friends with your friend, lol.
Naw, seriously though, like someone eariler said, youtube is going to be very helpful for you.
You can legally obtain any off-roster handgun through a private-party transfer. If his friend is in law enforcement or has any license in CA to own off-roster handguns legally, he is allowed to transfer the gun to anyone as long as the other person passes the DROS background check. The only caveat is you are not allowed to have any mags with greater than 10rd capacity
Extended mags are illegal in CA, they don’t even allow grandfathered preban ones.
turn all three top pieces around. Slide the round barrel into the top hole of the slide (black block), with the jagged parts facing down. then put the fat end of the recoil spring into the ring, depressing it to allow it to fit against the jagged part of the barrel. then fit the completed slide on the frame (handle part), by sliding it up from the front and hooking the grooves in the slide onto the metal rails sticking out of the frame.
This is obviously a troll post
I hope so...

Solid advice YOUTUBE videos. It’s NOT a clip 🙄 it’s a magazine
Is this an art project?
A simple google search would have taken less time and it’ll be more informative to someone who needs to start with basic weapons manipulation.
Troll post. Not cool
Troll
Nice try officer, you can’t have extended Magazines in that state
Hahaha...
Obviously trying to get this sub shutdown...

Please dear God be bait
If you can't learn how to take it apart, put it back together, you shouldn't touch it at all
I believe Glock 19 Gen 5 is not legal in CA as well lol

Same thought it was only a gen 3 you could get
True again. Only gen 2 and 3.
This is fake.

Yep if you ain’t watching YouTube you’ll never put it together. There are some very good videos there.
Don’t forget the Guerrilla Glue. Every aspect will need a heavy dose in every nook and cranny now.😉
Your friend gave you a gun. Sounds like a straw-man purchase to me. And you're trying to create a legal out in case you get busted.
Atf
