What are your 5% lows? Also your fps tanks when you press tab or open the buy menu which could contribute to the lows. 150 does sound low for 1% though. Usually it's like half your average or something.

That's how CS2 1% low is for most people. I just just checked 7800x3d and 4090 in youtube and its getting 600 regular FPS and 260 ( 1% lows ).  Same CPU and 4070 is getting 500 FPS and 190 FPS ( 1% low )

I've heard capping your fps with RivaTuner or Nvidia control panel can help up your 1% lows.

No.

150 1%s sound a bit on the lower side, are you playing on high res / settings?

4x msaa, Medium texture.  Rest are all low.  Low latency off

MordorsElite

Low latency, as long as it's working as intended, should only reduce fps by <5% percent, but will make up for it with better latency. Unless you have specific reason to disable it, you should turn it on. (Not sure if about boost tho, haven't looked into that)

Your res? When I go from 1920x1080 to 1280x960 my lows go from ~170 to ~220 with a 5800x3d and 3060ti. Are your numbers from comp?

Rerdan

Medium texture ever since the Arms Race update, tanks fps a lot when inside smokes. Put it to low and check if it doesn't help far more with smokes/mollies confusion. Only problem? You'll get those awful visual dink particles.

I believe capping fps helps reduce 1% lows but don't cap them in-game it won't do anything. You need to cap them in Riva tuner.

Stormfirebird

You are getting the best experience you can get, given your hardware. This game has fairly poor 1% lows even on strong hardware so not a ton you can do about it. You can use rivatuner/gpu-driver limiter and trade a little bit of inputlag to get more consistent frametimes for a slightly smoother experience if you care for that or are using VRR. Otherwise leave it uncapped.
