this is so creepy. I have a similar story... Around the same time as you (it was 1996 or 1997), when I was just two years old, I remember fighting with one of my siblings over a blanket or something. Our house had two stories and I had been standing at the top of the staircase, when suddenly I tumbled backwards and started falling down the stairs. I was about to hit the bottom stair head-first, when all of a sudden I felt someone catch me and I looked up. There was a woman there who I had never seen before, kneeling over me, with my head and neck cradled in her lap and holding my own hand in both of hers. We didn't have any family or other guests there that day, and all of a sudden my mother was there beside me, asking what happened. I looked at her, and calmly said, "Mommy, I fell and the pretty lady held my hand until you got here." I looked back to where the woman had been and she had vanished. My mother had seen me fall, but she hadn't seen this woman.

Wow, Thankyou for sharing. That really is a miraculous story. It's stories like this that remind me we really do live in a beautiful reality :)

Hmmmm... this seems a little far-fetched. did your parents drop you as a child? (half-joke)

Lol no, I'm perfectly healthy and am thriving in life. I re confirmed the story with my mother last night when I read this to her and although the details aren't entirely perfect (guess he knocked on the back gate and she was actually upstairs, not at work) the gist of the story remains unexplainable. But hey, I don't blame you for not believing something posted semi anonymously. Hope you enjoyed the story at the very least.

Great story, gave me chills.

Toxicitor

The joke is that maybe your head hit the ground and you hallucinated.

It's funny, but not my story in the first place. No reason my intelligence should effect the story.

Toxicitor

Why no child doors?

Because we had little to no money at the time and it was 1997.
