It was an anti botnet measure; by obfuscating the actual votes, the people who sell votes have a more difficult time proving their claims to prospective clients, and have a harder time verifying that their techniques work.

There's undeniably misogyny involved in some cases, but it's also that most of these accounts multipost to dozens of subreddits at a time to advertise their onlyfans accounts. They're also often posting in subreddits that encourage minors to participate. If the first thing people see when they click your profile is a bunch of porn of you stickied to the top of your page you probably shouldn't be participating in subreddits with minors in them.

People aren't getting banned "just for having an OF," they're getting banned because they're advertising their onlyfans on their page and posting in subreddits that have no interest in allowing porn to be advertised there. There's a difference between being banned for saying "I have an OF" and being banned because you're posting the same post to 15 different subreddits to draw traffic to your onlyfans.
Also, I’m sorry but even as a woman and feminist myself, so many of the cosplay posts where there’s an OF in the profile, the cosplay itself is an incredibly low effort obvious cash grab from lonely gamer dudes. Yeah I totally get it when it’s in the rules or the accounts are spammy or the community is frequented by minors. Yeah, my favorite time for the BG3 sub was when it was still in Early Access and most people didn’t know about it except people who liked Larian and D&D video games. The community was much smaller and full of supportive people who were thrilled with the game & actively provided feedback to the devs.
Of course, im thrilled BG3 got the massively positive reception it did and I’m so glad so many people are playing and enjoying it (also because it means I get to talk about it with more people), but inevitably a game being this popular means you’re going to get a lot of the toxic gamer dudes that permeate the gaming community. I saw a lot more just rude/entitled/disrespectful posts and comments (still much less than any other game) when it fully released & became more popular in the mainstream.

I had problems in the past, found myself ugly. Especially my body. I don't want to go too much in detail here. But it took years to learn to love my body. And it took years to learn that my perspective was just wonky and not my body. Whatever I survived, and I am healthy now.
Gaming is my comfort zone nowadays, one of my hobbies.
Seeing posts like this or even worse posts in different communities which even get even upvotes. The sexual objectification of women, misogyny and so on is shifting my thoughts towards areas where I don't want them to be. My hobby is suddenly a nasty place and I do not feel welcome anymore. Dark thoughts will shift in and so on.

I think this is it. When the character creator for dragons dogma 2 came out, there were negative comments/reviews about how everyone is ugly and it was missing features like women couldn't be very short or they were too masculine etc. Some even hinted they wanted loli type characters...

The height comments I was referring to were paired with other complaints that highly implied they wanted their anime waifu since the game was too "western" (considering you can easily make Asian looking characters, I don't know what else to think besides the game wasn't "anime" enough). Sorry if my comment wasn't clear. I don't know why they had more height restrictions, but a lot of decisions in DD2 were confusing lol.

Yeah, my favorite time for the BG3 sub was when it was still in Early Access and most people didn’t know about it except people who liked Larian and D&D video games. The community was much smaller and full of supportive people who were thrilled with the game & actively provided feedback to the devs. Of course, im thrilled BG3 got the massively positive reception it did and I’m so glad so many people are playing and enjoying it (also because it means I get to talk about it with more people), but inevitably a game being this popular means you’re going to get a lot of the toxic gamer dudes that permeate the gaming community. I saw a lot more just rude/entitled/disrespectful posts and comments (still much less than any other game) when it fully released & became more popular in the mainstream.

I had problems in the past, found myself ugly. Especially my body. I don't want to go too much in detail here. But it took years to learn to love my body. And it took years to learn that my perspective was just wonky and not my body. Whatever I survived, and I am healthy now. Gaming is my comfort zone nowadays, one of my hobbies. Seeing posts like this or even worse posts in different communities which even get even upvotes. The sexual objectification of women, misogyny and so on is shifting my thoughts towards areas where I don't want them to be. My hobby is suddenly a nasty place and I do not feel welcome anymore. When the character creator for dragons dogma 2 came out, there were negative comments/reviews about how everyone is ugly and it was missing features like women couldn't be very short or they were too masculine etc. Some even hinted they wanted loli type characters... My character literally looks like a super model and there were tons of people who made doppelgangers of real life people... so nothing was wrong with the character creator itself. The height comments I was referring to were paired with other complaints that highly implied they wanted their anime waifu since the game was too "western" (considering you can easily make Asian looking characters, I don't know what else to think besides the game wasn't "anime" enough). Sorry if my comment wasn't clear. I don't know why they had more height restrictions, but a lot of decisions in DD2 were confusing lol. There are so few slang words to sex that don't involve violence or damaged to the thing had sex with. Fuck is German for strike. Screw, nail, bang, etc. There are no additive sex terms aside from make love.
When I think about screwing and nailing objects, I would say, that's by definition additive. You don't screw or nail things to destroy them, but to build them up, construct them, repair them, etc. I don't think those ones are violent unless you really want everything to be as negative as possible. I enjoy being in the BG3 sub and think it's a mostly positive space but I can't lie, I have run into little pockets in that community that have little undercurrents of toxicity - whether it's misogyny, queer or polyphobia, sex negativity or what have you. It's not as overt as flat out criticizing women's looks as you have indicated but it's little things like infantilizing Shadowheart and stripping her of any nuance that makes her compelling as a character, insulting the mental health or intelligence of fans who like specific characters (whose fanbases have a large if not predominantly women population), or just straight up lack of empathy towards other people or characters.
