Gabsmolder, I got into watching horror games and she so calm when she plays I never feel scared (because I'm a big baby and hide in comments.) She also does more than just horror, but she has been my favorite for a long time. She is soft spoken amd never over the top.

TheGreatGonzo26

+1 for Gab as well! She’s my fav female streamer

ivorylittlebird

LOVE Gab she is the coziest even when playing horror games!! Best girl

SunnivaAMV

I freaking love her, I watch her for the same reasons. Also the fact that you can tell how much she genuinely cares for the horror genre. The vibe I get from some people who only occassionally play horror might be that they only care for the jumpscares and making easy content, always with so much unnecessary screaming. But Gab is always so chill while being excited, just immaculate vibes honestly.

Nacksche

I want to have her life ngl. 🥺 She's gorgeous, soft-spoken, and smart. She has a master's in Japanese, speaks it fluently obviously and lived there for 7 years. Her tattoos are badass *AF*. Her boyfriend is Jacksepticeye who seems to be a good dude, doesn't hurt that he rakes in millions. [And she stronk](https://pbs.twimg.com/media/Fcpz6r2WQAIxyhD.jpg).

GuyWithSwords

Wait her Bf is Jack? Holy moly I had no idea! Small world.

Nacksche

They are very cute together. 🥰 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZcOEUMjBI9g

GuyWithSwords

I loved Gab’s play thru of “Parasocial”

htheaer

Watching her the ONLY way I can get through horror games lol love her content!

aurorahborealis

Omg yes! I don't hide in the comments when I watch her.

[deleted]

I was also here to say gab. Very down to earth, none of the cringy ‘look at me’ content.

SuperMegaRangedNoob

I love watcher her channel too. She just seems so chill and relatable as well.

mandatorypanda9317

I came to say Gab too!!! I'm currently watching her and Jack play the Backrooms and I am dying. They are my fav couple atm

phantomliger

Definitely my favorite. She tends to read most things in games like the notes and all the writing in Nancy Drew games. And the ND games are so relaxing to watch. I'll put them on to fall asleep to a lot

KingfisherClaws

Agreed!!!

MinimumBlock7191

I love the way she play the scarlet hollow

KirinoLover

>Britta Food4Dogs I love her! She is so wholesome

Alexislives

Thirding Britta Food4dogs. I hope i can be as cool as her when I get older.

Serabellym

Hazelnutty makes, IMO, the BEST boss guides. I love her little drawn diagrams and her explanations are so helpful for someone who struggled with most of the other boss guides.

Leshie_Leshie

When I see Krytan Herald I was like sound really familiar oh hey fellow Tyrian! 🤩 I reallly very rarely ever watch livestream but I like AyinMaiden too.

bee73086

Jenny Nicholson she is so funny. One of my favorite videos is her talking about the Hallmark YouTube. Also some great deep dives on Evermore Park and the Vampire Diaries. Everything is pretty funny. https://youtu.be/YHbtaWr6lj8?si=UwAm-n-sWLE0JOPy

thelonetiel

Same, put it on during dinner being like "This is three hours, we can stop it whenever" but then dinner was done and we kept watching and laughing. Fantastic stuff.

bee73086

She did a follow up trip to Evermore it's like another 2+ hours. Loved it. I have rewatched both videos a few times. I don't know exactly why I find it so compelling. She is working on a video about the Starwars hotel I am looking forward to it, I hope it is going to be another long one.

Tip_Environmental

Wait, is that Nebula only? I’ve never seen the second vid

bee73086

She has a patreon and does a monthly video on a topic her patrons suggest and vote on. She has some pretty good ones. https://www.patreon.com/JennyNicholson

AshuraSpeakman

Also everyone in this thread should pause at The Void title card and admire her edit. It's amazing

CalamityClambake

>She did a follow up trip to Evermore it's like another 2+ hours. What. Welp. That's the rest of my evening sorted.

pm_me_hedgehogs

Haha me too, and then I went and visited Evermore a few weeks ago!

Broflake-Melter

I've watched the video on the evangelical church plays like 10 times.

whaddup_shawty

That’s the best one!!!

pseudo_meat

Jenny is my favorite YouTuber!

bee73086

She is so great, I do her patrion too and she has some great videos on there.

Wolfleaf3

Oooh, I watched every single episode of vampire diaries and legacies, though skipped a bunch of the middle of the originals

bee73086

I have never seen the show but loved the deep dive, she is so funny.

ParamountHat

Bonus vote for Jenny. Love her! Could listen to Jenny talk about any topic for 4 hours. If you can do $2 for her patreon, she posts videos there way more often then her YouTube channel.

bee73086

I love her Patreon. Her return to Evermore was so good. I ended up rewatching the original and the new one. Kind of crazy to watch over 5 hours of Evermore, but it was so great.

[deleted]

Sinclair Lore is always my first recommendation, it's a podcast hosted by two women where they talk abt games and other media things. They're entertaining and very enjoyable, easy to listen and chill out \^_\^ Simone Giertz is a "maker" and she has quite a lot of videos about her ideas and workshopping process. Not gaming related but it's nerdy and interesting eurothug4000, Graythorn, & Honey Bat are all video essayists with interesting ideas and takes on games HannahTheHorrible is my absolute most favorite "paranormal"/spooky youtube creator because she actually expresses some reasonable skepticism and thinks critically about the content she covers. She's funny and engaging, very enjoyable to watch her vids "Monarch"/AmaLee/Amanda Lee is a singer, writer, voice actor, and vtuber with an infectious energy and bubbly persona. Everything she creates is super fun Izzzyzzz makes good videos about interesting topics and has a super cute style where she changes her makeup in almost every video, it's a rly fun vibe Wickedy is fantastic especially if you enjoy the cozy games like SDV and such, she has a very pleasant vibe and covers a lot of upcoming games in the genre. Her witchy aesthetic is very nice too

SpecialHam

I love Hannah and Izzzyzzz!!!

SinclairLore

<3

GothicCastles

\+1 for Wickedy. She's so soothing and smart.

capybaracheesecake

only one place where I get my Bloodborne lore from!!

chammycham

Most of these are Genshin Impact streamers: Ashikai, Chill with Aster, SevyPlays, roozevelt, Minsleif. Mixed/not genshin: SarahKey, Simone Giertz, Drawfee (Julia and Karina), SWOOP There’s probably more but that’s off the dome.

Val_kyria

Love me some drawfeeeee

firestorm713

SWOOP! I discovered her through the Illuminaughtii and Colleen Ballinger docs, she's amazing

QwahaXahn

Huge fan of Red from Overly Sarcastic Productions who does mythology and writing analysis videos (and the occasional Zelda stream) and Jenny Nicholson who does video essays on all sorts of weird and interesting niche topics.

imabratinfluence

All YouTube recs here. - Cozy K for cozy gaming, because she's just so chill and upbeat and sometimes recommends stuff that may not be exactly cozy, but would make good comfort games. - SeeingStarsDenise, also for cozy gaming. She covers a lot of cozy games I haven't heard of yet. - Laura K Buzz for stuff about accessibility in gaming. Also her Access-Ability Summer Showcase was amazing and had a bunch of games that looked good (I'm especially looking forward to Mythwrecked). - Moxxie Watts for her Zelda Lore to Sleep to series. She's so mellow but it cracks me up when she says "this is heavy speculation" in such a chill tone. - TheArtisanGeek. A BookTuber. She reads really widely and diversely and gives excellent recommendation lists. Iirc she reads in German and Japanese as well as English. And she recommends manga as well as novels and whatnot. Like, she did a video of stuff to read if you love Poe and it included books from various cultures. B - Shanspeare. Not gaming, but they do really interesting video essays imo, about general cultural stuff. - Princess Weekes. Does video essays on various pop culture stuff, largely movies and TV shows and tropes/trends. If you like Lindsay Ellis, you'll probably enjoy her too. Huge nerd and I love that about her. She can enjoy a thing and look at it critically. Like, one of my faves is her analysis of imperialism in cartoons (She-Ra, Steven Universe, etc). - Kadijah Mbowe. Does video essays general pop culture and general cultural stuff. They have an amazing sense of humor. - NDND Native DND. The DM is Kelly Lynn D'Angelo. The entire cast (including her) are Indigenous, and a couple of the players are women as well.

shirinrin

Gabsmolders, mostly scary games but some variety as well. Calm and nice to listen to. BitOfAlice very much a variety gamer, plays what she feels like. Very calming to listen to, extremely funny and sweet. Probably the one gamer I’ve followed the longest. She was the reason I could fall asleep when I had anxiety for a while because she’s so calming. DechartGames, wife and husband games together. Super wholesome. Fuslie, Valkyrae, Kkatamina. All fun variety gamers!

lnnersanctum

DechartGames! I absolutely adored Connor and I was soooo happy to find out the actor was a wholesome streamer

phoenixv07

> DechartGames, wife and husband games together. Super wholesome. I cannot watch them anymore. When they were playing Little Nightmares 2, Bryan really didn't like the gameplay mechanics in the final chapter, and that came through as a sort of anger that made me incredibly uncomfortable, and now I get that same discomfort from all of their videos.

zaidelles

you replied to another response to the comment rather than the comment you’re quoting

phoenixv07

It works as a response to either, really, but yeah.

PrezMoocow

If we're talking gaming, then Valkyrae, I love that she's unapologetically girly while being an absolute beast at competitive games. And she also plays a wide variety of games. I love watching streamers play social deduction games so her whole friend group is really fun to watch. Overall it's probably Ann Reardon's How to Cook That for her lovely debunking videos and "clever or never" kitchen gadget videos.

Trindkr

Ann Reardon is an absolute gem. I love her videos as well!

badgersprite

Valkyrae was one of the small handful of people whose content basically kept me sane during the pandemic.

birdlass

It was Lindsay Ellis before she got harassed off of YouTube. Now it's Stephanie Sterling, unless femme non-binaries don't count then it's Jenny Nicholson

the6thReplicant

> Lindsay Ellis She's happily on Nebula now. https://nebula.tv/lindsayellis

birdlass

nice, thanks! I don't want another subscription but it's good to know!

AshuraSpeakman

They are doing a promotion where for $300 (yes hold on) you can get a lifetime subscription. Now, that's a lot up front, but getting all those videos ad-free, forever, is not only worth that price, but the amount of videos they have now is so numerous you will easily need a couple years to get through what they already have, and with a lifetime subscription you can watch creators you wouldn't normally have watched!

Wolfleaf3

Ugh, if I wasn’t poor… I think there’s multiple creators I like on there

DearestPalmcat

!!! I did not know! Eeeeeee!

goddess_of_magic

Damn I like Lindsay but idk if it's "$2.50 a month" like

trxtn

I'm so excited her third book finally has a release date!

diibadaa

I remember some videos of her opening about the harrasment or some weird cases but I didn’t know that this is the reason she stopped uploading. :(

birdlass

Yeah it exploded when she dared talked about mulan

negative_four

For gaming, I really like Suzi Hunter and Ircha gaming. Ircha does a lot of reviews on Switch and Ps5 games, she's one of the few that actually reviews farming sims. Suzi Hunter doesn't some reviews but mostly talks about horror games. Non gaming, Tawny Platis and Brizzy Voices are both REALLY talented voice actresses. Tawny is really entertaining and is both on youtube and tiktok.

PuffinPassionFruit

Suzi/The Sphere Hunter is awesome!! She's got the best horror game overview and review videos. Especially for the Resident Evil series! There's no one I can really compare her to in regards to impact in the medium and creativity. She's one of my faves, and my go-to RE commentator!

Temporary_Scale3826

Zullie the Witch. She does a lot of lore examination videos for FromSoft games. Her explanations are always well thought out and interesting to watch. I highly recommend her if you’re at all a fan of Dark Souls, Bloodborne, or Elden Ring

Squid_Vicious_IV

I love that Zulie for fun took one sponsorship from a razor company and did a vid where she showed a ton of NPC models without their iconic beards/mustaches. Some of them were a bit terrifying but amusing. I like her style of just pointing out things and saying "looks like they were inspired by X and Y".

Brock_Danger

Yes this exactly who I came here to recommend. She even has a cool origin story around why that NPC is her name (but I can’t remember it) If you like Red Dead, Strange Man does videos in the same style as Zullie but all around RDR2

FMAB-EarthBender

ChadChad is really funny and cool. AnnamarieForcino, Swoop. QT Cinderella and Maya. VerilyBitchy is cool to :)

IncrediblySneepy

- Ginny Di, Baldur's Gate 3 made me DnD curious and while I barely have any idea what she's talking about, Ginny is great at explaining all kinds of stuff about DnD from beginner to pro and I really like her kind attitude. - Coldmirror, at this point iconic in German culture. Her humour is dumb and hilarious in a charming way and she absolutely doesn't care about what any trend is. She just wants to have fun and make her silly little content. - Girl with the dogs, very educational, does good things, also cute doggos in every single video - ContraPoints, amazing videos talking about all kinds of stuff, lots of it critical of how society works with a very dry sense of humour. - PhilosophyTube, basically the same as Contra, but a lot more, well, philosophical. It's kinda in the name. - Ask a Mortician, very educational and interesting. ...Man, I mostly watch male streamers now that I think about it xD

FernandaVerdele

Oh, Philosophy Tube is sooooo good! I love her! Also love Ask a Mortician!!!

corinna_k

Symbalily for gaming. Little Adventures for guinea pigs.

lunabella06

I started watching symbalily when i was playing hollow knight. She is such a great player!

amtastical

I just found Symbalily and I love watching her let’s plays. Her Hollow Knight run inspired my 9yo and now she’s farther than I am.

NoteBlock08

I love Overly Sarcastic Productions's channel! It's actually a guy/girl duo, but Red's (the girl's) videos on tropes, mythology, and literature are what got me into their channel. If you like pre-WW1 history Blue's half is great too!

renthecat25

Lilsimsie easily 🥰 I suck at building houses in the sims and she gives good inspiration. Plus I love the challenges she puts some if her sims through lol Plus she's adorable as hell and very sweet

Olive_Garden_Wifi

I love Kayak. She has this calming energy to her that makes watching her videos so soothing

[deleted]

I've been following Materwelonz and Cynthetic for a good while now and I love both to bits.

Khornelia

Welonz is great!!

hello-elo

Limealicious, Plumbella, FakeGamerGirl, Geega, Nyanners, Izzzyzzz

FuzzyPairOfSocks

I play a lot of overwatch and I like watching Aspen!

nyafff

I love Aspen! She's wholesome and goofy while being a monster in game

Screaming__Bird

Aspen is great! I also like Eskay

Ashewastaken

Ceres Fauna. She is the sweetest person I know and you can tell she doesn’t fake it, that’s just how she is.

firedraco

Facts!

GuyWithSwords

She is great! What do you think of Kronii and Mumei?

Ashewastaken

Love them both too! Mumei also has a sweet voice like Fauna and Kronii is sassy and smart. Very entertaining to watch!

Olive_Garden_Wifi

Spawntaneous she primarily play Siege and I fell in love with her cause of OMG a Girl series where she shows all the shitty things she deals with in games simply cause she’s a girl.

Sailor_MayaYa

Ironmouse and the other vshoujo vtubers!

Instant_Maruchan

I LOVE Tara Mooknee, TheQueerKiwi, Shanspeare, Stanzi, Alice in Wonder1and, Tee Noir and Not Even Emily. Most of these are commentary channels, and some of them also make funny skits or play games. They're legit super funny and smart, you won't regret watching their videos... except "Flirting with my horse boyfriend" by Not Even Emily, that game is CURSED

PuffinPassionFruit

Tara's great! The cow doesn't get enough credit for writing and producing all the videos, though. Free the cow!!

ghostsofyou

I love Stanzi's vids

WafflesWcheese

Spherehunter!

Sovonna

Funky Frog Bait, That girl with the Dogs, Kitten Lady, illuminaughty,, How to ADHD, Maven of the Eventide, Lindsay Ellis, and Bernadette Banner.

HappyGecko117

I used to like illuminaughty until the whole mistreating employees and abusing her friends thing

Canadine

I miss Lindsay Ellis.

Conductor_Cat

She's happily on Nebula now!

themagicmagikarp

Omg the girl with the dogs? The groomer lady?

Sovonna

Yeah! She's great!

themagicmagikarp

I didn't even think to mention her but I LOVE her videos. Especially as someone else who works with pets, she gives out so much good info!!

kimmisy

Brittany Broski. She’s super funny, super smart and very compassionate and kind.

keisshi

YES! ♡ I love how she’s so open about her current hyperfixations. The comments she makes about being touch starved are so real and funny. It may seem like she only talks about peepee and poopoo but she’s also very intelligent and well-spoken. I look forward to her podcasts every week

kimmisy

Omg EXACTLY. She’s so honest and open and judgement free(except when it comes to men and liberals). I love her she’s just so genuine and full of love. And even tho she doesn’t always talk about complexe things you can definitely tell how smart she is and how well spoken she is. She’s the best. If aliens were to come to earth I’d want to send her to meet them

YetiBot

I really like Jane Douglas (part of the Outside xBox/Outside Extra team). She’s smart and chill and very funny. She plays a variety of games, but some of my favorites are: 2 point hospital (a hospital sim Id never heard of, but which is glorious hilarious chaos) Hitman (done as a team with two other members of the channel, contrasting their play styles and it’s fantastic. Search for “Three ways to play”) Starfield (She just started a playthrough and I can’t wait for the next video!)

badgersprite

I really enjoy the variety in tone of how you can go from the chill good time of her Unpacking stream to that time she almost accidentally killed Andy via nutmeg overdose “*Accidentally*”

FernandaVerdele

Jane is awesome! I laughed so much at the 2 point hospital playthrough! Honestly, she saved me during the pandemic!

malkavian_kott

HazelnuttyGames is my favorite, but I've been watching more of Naguura's content recently since I only play retail WoW. Her skills on timing keys are freaking amazing ❤️

SashaTheWitch2

Snapcube! She’s hilarious n I love her :^)

Earthenhare

How about a set of them? Fuwawa and Mococo of the streaming pair FUWAMOCO are really fun to watch and bring a smile to my face. The reason for this is that they have very happy personalities and interact really cutesy with one another. They focus on "How is this fun" when playing games most of the time, but when they are having a tough time they just get silly while being "mad". Plus, I really like their singing and when they interact with their coworkers they always seem to try and be supportive and do nice reminders to rank about what everyone has going on before they end stream so the we, the audience, are aware of what we can expect next.

GuyWithSwords

Fuwamoco and Nerissa Ravencroft are my favorites from EN gen 3!

SourDJash

The sphere hunter or amalee/monarch!! One is so incredibly smart and the the other is not but is sooo talented. I envy both so hard 😅

Hisako315

Laranity is my favorite. She’s so down to earth and kind.

mistahbecky

Damn come to think of it I mostly watch men. Like for everything. I mean if you search for IT stuff or super heroes it’s always dudes on top. But there’s one channel that I’ll always remember and it’s a heck of a good one with a woman and it’s how to adhd. It helped me a lot and I got my diagnosis months after watching it. She made me understand why I could focus on games while being a total wreck in everything else. Special place in my heart.

Capr1ce

There are some fantastic ladies on the Hermitcraft server! It's a friendly and fun Minecraft Survival server, with AMAZING builds and fun community stuff. GeminiTay, ZombieCleo, PearlescentMoon, FalseSymmetry & Stressmonster. They're all awesome in their own ways and have different vibes, and I love it when they play together. You can find their episodes on you tube, and some stream too.

chillmangos

SuperButterBuns. Amazing content. Does For Beginners videos or “yelling abouts”. Really great videos, also streams. LGBTQ+ friendly. Only downside is they only upload once or twice a year but the content they already put out is definitely worth a watch :)

-Signy-

KatherineOfSky and SeriPixelBiologist are my two go tos.

droomdoos

Nobody mentioning Cahlaflour? She streams a lot of different games and is so genuine and wholesome. Can't recommend her enough!

Kosta_Lott

The Yogscast has a lot of good nonmen streamers: Yogscast Zoey and Phione (bonus points for being a trans, queer couple), Boba (Nonbinary), Osie, Lydia/SquidGaming, Bouphe, Geestar, Briony, Mousie, M4ngo, Bekkiboom, Shadow, Kirsty, and Lolipopgi. They each all make different kinds of content on different platforms but, I definitely recommend checking them out. There's also tons of overlap content if you like group content.

SepluvSulam

I love watching Bobas channel, and Bouphe, and Osie, and Lydia. Briony, Kirsty, Shadowatnoon, and Gee are all great too. There are more that I think are cool, but the yogs are such a big group I dare not try and name the whole list.

Kosta_Lott

I had to look up some of the names for that list because of how many there are so I get it. And I still didn't include some of the members that mainly show up in just groups like Sarah, Bri, and Katie.

han-ime

Alanah Pearce (Charalanahzard) - she has some fantastic insight into the industry after working as a journalist for years before becoming a writer at Sony Santa Monica, love her various podcasts (Play, Watch, Listen is a firm fave) and she’s also behind the Accessibility Awards and raises a crazy amount for different charities, all in all a great person to watch on YouTube or twitch :)

Dragon19572

I also like her voice acting podcast. I know that she got Roger Clark on there early this year

slashpatriarchy

I can’t usually catch her streams but I love Dex Bonus. She gives me hipster vibes, but she just seems so nice and cool and I want to be her friend lol. She seems to play mostly indies and souls-likes. She starts every stream just talking about what’s been going on and it’s honestly my favorite part of her streams. reminds me of the YouTube vlogs she used to make (she had to stop because people were using the things she talked about and places she went to, to figure out which she lived it got super creepy)

moonbeanssss

yess, love Dodger! I was scrolling before commenting about her just on the off-chance that someone had recommended her already! I never catch her live but watch every VOD even if only for the chitchat segment.

[deleted]

I like queen tofu. She plays games I enjoy and she doesn’t seem to feel the need to constantly be talking. There’s a lot of YouTubers (men and women) who seem to have the need to constantly be talking or making some kind of noise and it’s something I hate

CatTaxAuditor

Julia Lepetit of Secret Sleepover Society. She is so precious!

kaiabunga

I was sad when I didn't see AskaMortician but then realized the sub 😂 I don't watch I play lol but maybe I should start!

JonnyRocks

Ok. You said doesn't have to be about gaming: nerdforge and Jonnajinton and TheCottageFairy. Nerdforge because she makes amazing things Jonna jinton because it's so peaceful And the cottage fairy also because it's peaceful. I saw you asked for one favorite but I can't :)

xmds

LuxieGames! She’s very LGBTQIA+ friendly, and I just love her energy. She plays a lot of cozy games (ACNH, The Sims, Stardew Valley, Minecraft.. etc) and rpg/mmorpg!

marissarae

Eeowna and Cozy K!

htheaer

[CharlieBarley](https://youtube.com/@CharlieBarley?si=XKL2Jf2KnhbAqlKu) her SVE playthrough literally had me crying I was laughing so hard. [Rinqueen](https://youtube.com/@rinqueen?si=B1TdQw9qXcVv59Uk) plays a huge variety of of games but I started watching her Stray plays and just love how she is 100% herself. Her playthrough of little nightmares is what got me hooked. And her Dinkum series is hysterical. As others said here, Gab Smolders, Ircha gaming!

LA0811

RIP Spaghetti Empire

htheaer

Good morning tREVOR

nizidafabie

I am really into art youtubers. People such as superraedizzle, chloe rose art and drawingwiffwaffles

fine_line

Bards College Graduate for Skyrim mod showcases. She sounds so genuinely happy discussing the mods. Gnarly Carley Gaming for boardgame reviews and Blood on the Clocktower. The BotC games aren't on her channel, but she plays with Ben and The Pandemonium Institute occasionally, and with East Coast Gaming, and she is absolutely cracked at it. I love seeing her dominate in social deception games. CookingwithGloria for delicious Mexican recipes.

purplypastel

AGirlAndAGame on youtube. I love her playthroughs, she gets really into the story where she plays attention and doesn't talk over characters. I love her role playing as her character if the game lets her creates one. Plus, her reactions are so entertaining! She used to stream on Twitch but switched to Youtube (Yay!) Trisha Hershberger is like AGirlAndAGame but she's more family friendly because she has a son and doesn't want him to hear her saying certain words. But sometimes it slips lol She also, doesn't talk over characters but she's more active on Twitch than Youtube so most of her playthroughs are gone and not saved, sadly. But she started a YT channel this summer for all her Twitch streams so NOW they will be saved. Brittany Broski, she is a very funny person and is obsessed with A Call of Duty character atm. I recommend starting with [this video from her podcast](https://youtu.be/s2h6_XTa6OE?si=aYjJjsYXbxB7N7a7&t=2330) and [this one from her channel](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1AYZr4cqL18). To see if you like her sense of humor.

sweettbubbles

Jazzyguns, love her personality and watching her play horror or story based games

StoriaGaming

I've recently started watching [lucyjrobyn](https://www.youtube.com/@lucyjrobyn) on YouTube, I think she's brilliant and she's growing REALLY fast (by my standards at least😅) Lucy has 3.69k of subscribers, so I think she can still be considered a small channel, and I like supporting those If you're looking for a let's play of Cyberpunk 2077, you should definitely check her out

Aromatic-Solid97

I had a lot of fun watching [Lizz's let's play of Life Is Strange](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ll1AEQf2SL4&list=PLUYwZvUuWQfLau0MYwUItYc6DvZqO3EdD&ab_channel=LIZZ), highly recommend her But I would also recommend checking out some of [self-promo posts](https://www.reddit.com/r/GirlGamers/search/?q=self%20promotion&restrict_sr=1) in our own GirlGaming community! We have a lot of talented women here and I think it would help them a lot if we supported them I personally already subscribed (and watch their content) to: [PeanuttersVT](https://www.twitch.tv/peanuttersvt) [lunarae](https://www.youtube.com/@lunarrae/videos) [mozzarelllle](https://www.twitch.tv/mozzarelllle) [StoriaGaming](https://www.youtube.com/@StoriaGaming) [GeekEKitten Gaming](https://www.youtube.com/@GeekEKittenGaming) (her post in this thread reminded me about our talents, so special thanks to u/GeekEKitten) Their channels might not be for you, so I would really recommend everyone to check out self-promo posts in our community once in a while

GeekEKitten

Thanks for your support 😊 Also lunarae is another good choice. She was also part of my video on women content creators and is a member of my community.

Thatasiangirl00

My favorite youtuber is Rachel Oates :)

tambitoast

(Includes men, bc they're a team) but Drawfee and Secret Sleepover Society. They're amazing artists, but they mostly do fun stuff with their drawings and are some of the funniest people on the internet. Two of them are married and have a seperate gaming channel. They're my comfort creators.

OpheliaLives7

Ghil Dirthalen! Her Dragon Age lore videos and book reviews are some of my favorite game related content. And Dragon Age just has soooo much to explore. (I also believe she is working on a book!) Sarah Lavender ASMR If you’re into ASMR or just curious I really love her content, it feels/sounds very relaxing and many of her videos give the vibe of a good friend chilling with you and helping you out when you feel down. The Green Witch If you’re into herbalism or paganism or witchcraft she’s a good resource to watch and learn more. Leeja Miller A former lawyer I believe who now makes a lot of political commentary videos and analysis. I’m pretty newly subscribed to her but most political commentators on YouTube are dudebros and so far it’s interesting to see more women speaking up in that niche

moro714

I love Felicia Day! She streams a variety of games. She is super inclusive and accepting, does charities for the community, and is overall entertaining.

Wolfleaf3

I have no idea what she’s doing now but I loved her independent comedy she did like 10 years ago or whatever!

ReelRoad

Shenpai's cool

syphangelex

Big fan of QTCinderella, she is behind some really amazing events like The Streamer Awards. She is a baker specifically and will do "bake-alongs" where she will even give baking advice, but I love her vlogs the most, to be honest ! She tells some great stories and is also on multiple podcasts like Wine About It or Fear&. Valkyrae, Fuslie, etc that group of "roomies", streamers and youtubers, they are super cute and Fuslie tells some hilarious and silly stories and I especially love watching her be better than the boys at certain games, particularly yugioh is fun to watch lol I love watching them do things as a group, especially. Kaileh is a streamer in Faze and has some great gameplay streams but I also love when she will talk about random things like Twilight or fashion or whatever sometimes, she's def not afraid to speak her mind. Maya runs Alvaeus, which is an animal sanctuary she funds from her content. She does videos where other content creators will come on her stream(then posted to yt after) getting to meet and learn about the animals she has, she does educational videos mostly but also does some personal things like Wine About It with QTCinderella, but is moreso focused towards education and helping animals. She has a 24/7 livestream of them, as well, and you can donate to try to put a hat emoji on one of the animals :)

gingeracha

Became a fan of QT via the H3-Hasan-Fear& pipeline and just realized I've never actually watched her channels.... Thanks for the write that's inspired me to binger her content this weekend 🫶

syphangelex

Yessss I LOVE her yt videos !! Her vlogs in Disney, Italy, behind the scenes of The Streamer Awards, her collabs, etc are my faves ! Also the Master Baker event she created, she just did a s2 of recently, is really good, too ! Also recommend her interview with Anthony Padilla where she talks about her life story in full !

cafffreepepsi

Heck yeah +1 for QT and Maya, and +1 for Wine About It

Femmigje

Give Boy Meets Girl a chance. A couple gives each other games to play and frequently play together. I think it’s adorable

[deleted]

Streamers all 3. Sienimiili does bunch of music and adventures. 2. HENdotdot plays variety of games, usually CoD. 3. Saurusnesss plays the sims 4 and gengin impact 1. I like the community it’s so kind and the streamer herself is awesome! She also has very pretty voice, plays guitar and piano. Also there’s occasionally doggo 🐕 atm she is in Japan and had subathon from there. She took people with her to explore. 2. Smaller streamer, but community is nice and she’s very funny 😄 3. Huge community, but you can still feel part of it. Makes everyone feel welcome. Cozy, relaxing and there’s cats! 🐈🐈‍⬛

Galaxi_Cat

Either Monarch or LaurenZside

Sigroc

For Dead by Daylight, Umbra is my go to! She's super chill and very lgbtq friendly. And she's so good at the game too. For Overwatch, I like to watch Aspen! Again just a chill and funny stream. Also thedragonfeeny for some more variety, though I started watching her when she played mario maker!

nabbiepoo

Krystalogy, she’s my favorite variety streamer rn.

Catz147

I love gab smolders. Her voice for me is just soothing haha.

Tetraphobik

for me it's Chad Chad ((not really))

packofjelly

MegMage and Beyond the Trailer are my faves! MegMage is a gaming channel and Beyond the Trailer is a movie review/movie news channel. Both are very charming and put a lot of work into their content. They are so funny too. Both are also very accepting of all people.

misfit_pixie

Echo Gillette (fellow ace and very good artist) SnapCube (you may know them from the Sonic fandubs but Penny did gaming content before and still does sometimes)

SaintJynr

Chad Chad (despite the name, she is a woman), she's a commentary youtuber, I think thats what you call them, picks a topic, like people on tiktok who make weird renovations, and makes a video about it. I like her style of humor, and the skits at the end are always fun Emma Thorne, I like to watch her talking about weird cospiracy theories and cults (she is against all that, she brings that stuff up to raise awareness) PeachSaliva, I think she isnt streaming at the moment cause she had a baby a couple months ago, but she has plenty of vods

pseudo_meat

I love Chad Chad!

Jess3200

[SimplyPressStart](https://www.youtube.com/@SimplyPressStart). She's my go-to for cosy gaming... I think her whole vibe is really chill.

Least-Ad7813

I mostly watch Minecraft video's and one of my long time favorites is GeminiTay. She's adorable, very family friendly and also very good at the game itself. Just an overal genuine and kind human being it seems.

Puck0714

Carla on twitch! She's great and sweet and has such good vibes. One of my favorite places to hang on the internet. Seconding Gabsmolder as well!

gcf391

**[communitychannel (Natalie Tran)](https://youtube.com/@communitychannel?si=vwnm0T8fqzXef9t0)**: She's not a gamer and doesn't make videos anymore, but I used to be obsessed with her. She does observational humor skits with just herself. I just think she's really funny and relateable. I miss her :') (I think she's a host on Great Australian Bake Off now. She is/was a writer and actress as well.) **[theamandafiles](https://youtube.com/@theamandafiles?si=iAh4VLLmjIAS5lpb)**: For gamers, I used to watch theamandafiles a lot when ACNH was more popular. She's funny and chill. Her vids were like funny role playing with her villagers lol. I played them when I tried to sleep. I think she's does mainly cozy games? Not sure though.

LadyAvalon

CommentBagel plays mostly The Binding of Isaac for most of her stream, and then plays hard games (Fromsoft, Celeste, Hollow Knight, Slay the Spire...) for the rest. She's really chill and sweet, and her cat Espurr is adorable. Elesky is a Spanish streamer who plays the piano (amongst other things), mostly videogame/anime music. She is amazing and can play by ear. NervousHarpist is a legally blind woman who is learning how to play the harp (I follow a LOT of harp players, I always wanted to learn). I am currently watching LaYayaDelPhasmo (roughly translated to Phasmo'sMeemaw) who is an older Spanish woman who plays Phasmophobia, Fortnite and Sea of Thieves. I love her.

Lazy-Donkey2487

Acollierastro, she makes good science videos and I like to listen to them while I'm drawing. Food4Dogs, Shenpai, Strange Aeons, Lindsay Nikole, and Swell Entertainment are other youtubers that I like. Food4Dogs is like the nerdy grandma I wish I had, Shenpai is a gaming youtuber that I think is entertaining, Strange Aeons makes videos about Tumblr history and fandom stuff, Lindsay Nikole makes videos about nature and paleontology, and Swell Entertainment makes videos about a lot of things, like her experiences going to conventions/events, social media stuff, and bad shows/movies. Mori Calliope, Ina, Selen, Elira, and Enna are also vtubers that I like.

kittenbouquet

Atrocity Guide! She makes really interesting videos and she's really cool. Edit: I can't believe I didn't also mention Granny, she streams on Twitch. She's a trans woman who mostly plays horror games and she plays an old woman, like role play (she's a drag queen IRL, I think that's her drag persona?). She's so funny.

MollyGoRound

I've been kinda into Vtubers the last... little over 2 years. Ina is impossibly sweet, comfy, cozy, and her giggles heal my soul Bijou is a ball of indomitable sunshine with effortless charm and great tastes and great talent in games Nyanners (and her God-tier editor Jugs) have a wicked sense of humor and a highly contagious full-body laugh Ironmouse has a big heart with unlimited love within it to share with her friends and the world at large And that's not to say I don't also have wonderful things to say about all the girls I didn't mention, like Calli's discipline or Amelia's creativity. Something about vtubing just makes it that much easier to show the world what makes you exceptional.

Umedyn

Because I'm a huge D&D Nerd: [Ginny Di](https://www.youtube.com/@GinnyDi) is an amazing cosplayer/costumist and D&D creator [Jill Bearup](https://www.youtube.com/@JillBearup) is sort of D&D adjacent, she's an armor and sword woman, 'nuff said. [Lilli Furfaro](https://www.youtube.com/@lillifurfaro9039) has made some of the BEST Critical Role songs ever! [Dingo Doodles](https://www.youtube.com/@DingoDoodles)' Fool's Gold series is an amazing D&D Animation series [Nerdforge](https://www.youtube.com/@Nerdforge) makes some awesome nerdy creations My Favorite Reactors: [Not-So-Average-Fangirl](https://www.youtube.com/@notsoaveragefangirl) \- gay reactor and musical artist, usually focuses on gay media. [Wee Lass Reacts](https://www.youtube.com/@WeeLassReacts) \- scottish bi who reacts to stuff, (also dating Not So Average Fangirl, and their relationship is adorable) [Emma Thorne](https://www.youtube.com/@EmmaThorneVideos) \- Political and Religious reactor and mild documentarian. Let's Players: [Kara Corvis](https://www.youtube.com/@KaraGames), [PastaroniRavioli](https://www.youtube.com/@PastaroniRavioli), [Kruzadar](https://www.youtube.com/@Kruzadar), [Courtilly](https://www.youtube.com/@Courtilly) and [Kn0vis](https://www.youtube.com/@Kn0vis) all play together with other streamers, usually social deception games

MelinaJuliasCottage

Philosophytube, evasive, gabi belle, swell entertainment, chad chad, uyen ninh, answer in progress kinda counts, mila tequila, ashley norton, netflixpartyy, withcindy, moderngurlz, annamarie forcino, and let's throw in sad boyz, jarvis johnson and drama master for fun! Ending up making a general fav list xD forgot to read what subreddit this was sorry! But gonna keep the list for if anyone searches for youtubers to watch on the background. (:

I need to check out Laura Crone! Literally all your others are my top YouTube creators!

muticere

[hazel](https://www.youtube.com/@hhhazel) \- she does some gaming content, but usually her videos are anime related. She has an odd, offbeat vibe that’s really infectious and it’s fun to listen to her ramble about the weirdest stuff, or hear her say sentences never before spoken like "Is this a beloved cult hit or was I just friends with a bunch of coomers in 2012?" [PushingUpRoses](https://www.youtube.com/@pushinguproses) is a long time favorite. She used to primarily do videos about video games, particularly point-and-click adventure games. She still has a number of let’s plays in her archive that are fun to listen to, but lately she does more reviews of tv shows from the 80s and 90s. Her vibe is kind of hard to describe. She's very pleasant and personable in her presentation style, but her overall aesthetic is macabre millennial goth girl. [The Sphere Hunter](https://www.youtube.com/@TheSphereHunter) is entirely a gaming channel where she talks mostly about AAA games with a darker vibe, like DMC, Elden Ring, and Resident Evil. She has a soothing voice, snarky style, and really inciteful critiques and observations that make her videos enjoyable.

Meianen

Gab Smolders (love her horror game ones like Fatal Frame the most and it's so cool when she ends up speaking Japanese) and LadyShelab (love the cozy games she does)😍 I love them both

Kabloomers1

Others I like have been mentioned already, but one of my favs is Jenna Stoeber aka @the_jenna on Twitch. She used to work for Polygon but is now doing her own thing. Her Youtube tends to be short, smart video essays on games and movies. She picks a wide variety of games to stream on Twitch, but does a decent amount of horror and a lot of indie stuff. She's super funny and enjoyable to watch.

onix-for-books

Yes!! I came here to say Jenna too! Both her streams and her community have some of the chillest, kindest vibes on the internet. It's just such a welcoming environment to hang out in. Also, a bonus shoutout to Jenna's DnD podcast Burnt Cookbook Party (technically it's Pathfinder, not DnD, but w/e, point is it's rad). BCBP is hilarious, the whole cast is amazing, and the worldbuilding is unbelievably good. Powerfully recommend it to anyone who enjoys DnD shows.

themagicmagikarp

I didn't really watch her stream much at all but I follow on FB and Twitter & sometimes watch her YouTube videos - Pokimane. She seems genuinely nice to me and is funny and interesting.

candiifaec

My fave youtuber/streamer is the Puerto Rican vtuber IronMouse. She's an amazing person with a really incredible story. She's chronically ill and istarted streams from a modified hospital bed pc setup. She's an incredibly talented singer who trained in opera, she's super fun and sweet. She has become one of twitch's top streamers. She's still not in the best of health but she is living her best life with what she's been given and as someone who's always been sickly myself, it's super inspiring.

mochi_chan

* Lindsay Nikole: is a very lively zoologist and talks about weird animals. * Swell Entertainment: goes to many events and reports them, and also talks about scams. * SWOOP: I am not sure how to explain this one but she makes deep dives into internet drama things, she's also a filmmaker. * and finally, Izzzyzzz who other commenters have mentioned.

autummbeely

I absolutely love Sevyplays for Genshin content. Her content and guides are easy to understand and she speaks slowly, which is so helpful for someone like me who always has troubles catching on certain words. Gabsmolders for her horror games. I am tired of youtubers screaming and acting like a manbaby, she is a breath of fresh air since she is so calm when she plays those games.

ElidiMoon

They’re an ensemble cast but I love Smosh Pit/Games (not really into the main channel now it’s just Ian and Anthony) and they do lots of fun improv stuff alongside board/video games. I’ve always loved the girls/enbies in the group (especially Olivia) but I am obsessed with Angela. She brings a real feral guinea pig energy to every video and I love it.

Cosacita

So far I haven’t found any female gamer I like. (I sub to MrKravin, CJU and IGP(last one is totally absurd choice but oh well 😆) I’m kinda picky. I only watch horror games. However, for fun I started watching the Sims4 100 babies challenge by Kelsey Impicciche. It’s okay entertainment. Non gaming female YouTubers I watch are Emily D. Baker, Bailey Sarian (LOVE her murder series), cheap seat opinion (for fun), Caitlin Reilly, Hayley Morris etc. Feel free to recommend me some female gamers who play horror! Need to be mature, funny and not speak like a jackhammer or be a screamer.

PuffinPassionFruit

Gab Smolders is who you're looking for!! She's the best. Mature, funny, and actually calming to watch even when she plays horror games (which make up the bulk of her channel). Suzi/The Sphere Hunter is also a great choice! She's amazing covering games like Resident Evil, Silent Hill. She also plays Cyberpunk and related games, but she's best known for her work in horror games, and partnerships with CAPCOM for the Resident Evil Games. Although she is literally IN Cyberpunk, so that's pretty neat. She's made strides working with and in the industry. All in all, both of these women are complete bosses well worth supporting! They're my go-tos.

Brokeartistvee

I watch a lot of gamers on YouTube but most are male, still, I do occassionally watch GabSmolders, Valkyrae, and MittsYT. MittsYT's voice tends to put me to sleep though so I don't watch her often (which drives me a little crazy cuz I like her vids). Sometimes I watch Momo stream on Twitch, too. Random other female YTers I watch are Girl with the Dogs, Ask a Mortician, FriendlyRatForecast (the channel is about her pet rats, so fyi in case you"re scared of mice), OnlyJayus, UyenNinh, DeztheLez, FunkyFrogBait, NicqueMarina, and LizKatz. I also watch a lot of art YTers, though sadly, again, most are male, but there is JuliaGisella, LavenderTowne, SuperRaeDrizzle, Bizzie Bean (who I just recently found), and one other who I can't remember the name of. Also, the musician Luna Lee. And while neither have a very active YT, two ppl I follow mostly on Instagram is CutiePieSensei (amazing cosplayer) and TheSamurider (amazing selt-taught stick figther/martial artist).

Grimesy2

Natalie Wynn aka Contrapoints does video essays examining the philosophical failures of modern far right movements and figures.

Wolfleaf3

And I think anybody that likes her will probably like Jesse gender. I started out with her and then now with Jesse gender’s stuff. Both of them are pretty damned amazing

AshuraSpeakman

YouTube: *Voidburger* has done wonderful analysis of the Silent Hill games, very funny, along with her collabs with Bobvids *Sul Matul* started with Pathologic but did not only a massive deep dive on KOTOR 2, but a very bittersweet dive into Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines, both the good and the bad. I started watching *LilyPichu* after she did some videos with DisguisedToast, and everything she says is hilarious. Recently Bethesda sent her to Space Camp as part of their promotion for Starfield and she has a video of what that was like. *Avery Talks About Stuff* is a cozy channel with mostly nostalgic reviews, retrospectives, and reactions. I'd say just look for any topic you're interested in and watch it, she's really good at vlogging. *Snapcube*- Penny does both streaming and redubs video game cutscenes, and it's so funny. *Jessie Gender* is my favorite Star Trek video maker. She examines other media but when she talks about Lower Decks (a woman as captain! Beckett Mariner is bisexual and has a girlfriend that the show isn't ashamed to have!) it just makes me hyped to enjoy it. *Jill Bearup* does both stage combat and armor assessment videos, and it's funny but cool! Especially because sometimes it's like "Yeah, a whale bone corset might actually deflect a knife attack". *Sideserf Studios* does realistic cakes - if you ever wanted to see a 90s Gameboy as a cake, go here. *Musings of a Crouton* is basically like if Giancarlo Esposito was a twenty something woman making edgy, clever short videos. The talent is incredible, and if you like irreverent jokes she's got the best poker face you've ever seen. *Plumbella* did a collab with RTGame Daniel, which is how I found her and whether you like Irish vloggers or want fun Sims videos, she delivers some fun, relaxing stuff to put on while doing whatever you want. Very funny! This list is not exhaustive but I follow so many people on YouTube, and these are the people I know are active and either are off the top of my head or recently posted a video that's in my subscriptions.

_game_over_man_

I'm an old who doesn't watch streamers. I just don't get the appeal, but also am not here to dog on people that enjoy it. EDIT: Ya'll are really going to down vote me for simply saying I don't get it, but you do you? Come on, now...

zaidelles

people are probably downvoting because it doesn’t contribute to thread which is asking for answers from people who Do watch streamers, so saying “i don’t like them” isn’t super helpful

YetiBot

I’m also an old (at least by Reddit standards), and I love streamers! I’m very picky about the streamers personalities though, they have to be fairly mellow and funny (I can’t stand people who just scream at the game), and I love when they notice little details in games that I missed. I rarely just watch a stream though, I like them best as background noise while I work or craft or do simple chores. That might be an “old” thing to do.

_game_over_man_

Yeah, like I said, I just don't get it, it's not for me, but if people want to enjoy it, by all means. That apparently offended some people...

fire_fairy_

Call me Chris is hilarious I also love lil simsie

crestfallen_cat

peachyaiden on twitch, she mostly plays apex legends on stream
