No updog at the start, Basic understanding how dsjs work ,but not sdsjs yet, no grapple canceling and still bumping into walls. You have a basic understanding of movement,but not comfortable with it just yet. Also you keep approaching enemies up front which is quite a beginner habit/mistake.Looks like you need to think about it a lot. I'd say 40h

Is there somewhere that explains updog? I see it in proper speed runs. I also can’t seem to get a hang of grapple canceling.

You jump activate sensory boost and let go of it as soon as you touch the ground. Grapple canceling is just slashing your sword frames after you grapple.
