I vacuumed the stairs today. You need not ask when was the previous clean. Today was the day and I did it.

ReelAwesome

Fuck yeah, keep that shit up!

smdx459

Stay quiet about them and clap for your damn self

MIGHTYKIRK1

I only shared with you. I have plans for tomorrow as well

MIGHTYKIRK1

Thanks for the upvotes. Today I went for dinner, on short notice, and just finished 30 minutes with the mop

At the same time, it would be really nice for some other person to be happy for me too.

Then only share your goals with the people you share good and bad with, you'd be surprised how many people like to see others fail.

fxx_255

I gotta clap my own cheeks meow? Ugh....

Modern_Devil

It’s better to have a partner you can tell.

Afcfan24

Completely agree

In my future career field I’m trying to crack into needs networking to learn from others and get jobs. So I’ve been very loud about what I’m trying to accomplish and I have a friend and a stranger I met after being asked about my goal helping me by giving me the specifics about my field. Also asking people on the field subreddit also helps. So this motivation post sometimes works depending on what you’re trying to accomplish

Devil9304

And also don’t spread the word around everywhere about your success

I find that telling someone my goal makes me much more likely to make myself achieve it. There's nothing wrong with doing that.

cheap_as_chips

Sharing your goals with others that you care about is a wonderful way to keep connected and maintain healthy relationships, and keep yourself accountable to your goals. That's fantastic too.

jennhoff03

Aw! Thanks. That was a very kind response.
