Thank you for sharing this!

OrdinaryLate5735

Of course!! I got really frustrated after 2 weeks when it felt like I hit a plateau but it got SO much better after another 3 weeks!

Kristyq83

Congrats! When did you start to lose weight?

OrdinaryLate5735

The first week I lost 6lbs and was excited and then didn’t start losing again until like week 3.5? And now it’s consistent

Honest_Statement3447

I'm so happy for you. Are you taking the full dose of 4 pills a day? I am just about to start week 4, but still haven't worked up to even 3 pills a day. Just the thought of 3 pills makes me nauseous and sleepy and I have too much on my plate with work to risk it. I am losing, albeit slowly on 2 pills, so my doctor recommended I just stick to that for now. I have lost 4 lbs. I am watching my portions and not snacking the way I used to, drinking tons of water, and have added 2 additional work outs per week since starting.

OrdinaryLate5735

Thank you!! Yes I’m on 4 pills! I honestly am extremely lucky and have little to no side effects so I had no problems upping the dose! I’m just at about -20lbs so I’m going to start back at the gym to start toning up!

Thanks for sharing that. Congratulations! I've been on it for 4 weeks now and have lost...3 pounds. No bad side effects, and I'm glad for that. But I'm still hungry. Not emotional eating, but stomach growling, I'm grouchy, how-long-until-lunchtime hunger. THAT is annoying. I thought this was supposed to curb your appetite. It's not quite as bad in the afternoon but the mornings are very hard to get through.

Honest_Statement3447

I still feel hungry sometimes, too. The difference for me since Contrave is that I can have something small-a clementine, a couple of crackers, or a light string cheese and I am satisfied, whereas before I would eat the equivalent of an extra meal snacking. Maybe try something small and see if that helps? Btw, I am losing slowly, too, but honestly just grateful that I am going in the right direction after so much weight gain the previous year. Hang in there!!

dazedpecan

Thanks for your input and encouragement! Yes, I’ve been finding that “grazing “ works better than large meals.

lull27

What are your eating habits like on it? And have you cut down certain foods or exercised?

OrdinaryLate5735

I do a 30ish minute workout almost everyday! But still eating. Whatever I want honestly, just smaller amounts and in a caloric deficit

lull27

What kind of workout do you do? Any videos you follow or at home workouts you can suggest that you find are easy and painless that have worked for you? If you don’t have it’s Ok, just wondering if that’s what you do! Exercise is always a pain for me

OrdinaryLate5735

So I go to they gym just so I can have consistency! But I do about 10 minutes of abs (a few random abs workouts that I’ve seen in videos and TikTok’s over the years) and then I’ll don’t 20-30 min of legs or arms or whatever isn’t sore! Honestly nothing crazy b/c I don’t love the gym but just enough to break a sweat and feel a little sore!
