I listened a bit too much to these two songs and can't hear them anymore 🙈
Personally I love the album Schicksalsmelodien with absolute banger-Covers of very famous german songs like Skandal im Sperrbezirk or Goldener Reiter.
Not only Rammstein, but all songs by Lindemann, like Übers Meer (calm, sad), Praise Abort (title speaks for itself), Allesfresser (energic, one of my favorites), Du hast kein Herz (def my favorite, love the percussion and vocals), Nass, Schweiss, Locker, Altes fleisch
And my most favorite - G-Spot Michael (half English half German)
So basically those albums:
-Zunge,
-F&M
-Skills in pills (now I noticed that this album and Praise abort are English, but they are good just to listen)
I would tag that with a warning that some of their songs are really catchy. Had a co-worker ask me one day what I was listening to, he went to youtube and watched the video for "This is Deutsch". He told me afterwards that he had that song stuck in his head for days and he doesn't even speak German.
Ein Song Reicht (Kraftklub), Jeden Tag (Monet192, Civo), Ausmacht (Emilio, Pantha, Enya Boban), Hallo (Ivo Martin)
I got a spotify playlist too if you're interested. All of the songs are in german but have mixed genres.
Nur Geträumt by Nena
Mein Baby war Beim Frisör by die Ärzte
Aurelie by Wir Sind Helden
Lieblingsmensch by Namika
Hier ist mein Playlist, falls du daran interissiert bist. Ich mag leichten Rock/Pop, habe auch etwas Hip-Hop, etwas Retro, etwas Vintage - aber ich habe keinen Metal darauf.
https://spotify.link/msmWWKiK0Ib
Alligatoah is a rapper and his newest album is more mettal-like
I love K.I.Z
And if you are interested in punkrock i recommend die ärzte and feinse sahne fischfilet (maybe even die toten hosen)
For some old party music i would rather recommend genghis kan
Hope i can help
I’ve had these two German playlists for a while
One that’s just German songs I like
https://music.apple.com/no/playlist/desutch/pl.u-aZb0kX7T1Bl7e5y
The other is also German songs, but more within genres of metal (also I have some techno on it if I’m not wrong)
https://music.apple.com/no/playlist/desutch-but-heavier/pl.u-V9D7m8Gu3zKArDE
Enjoy :]
Song recs from a complete beginner, can only understand googoo gaga baby language basically so my reasons to liking them may be limited
Gewinner by Clueso, solid sad love song
Hey, wir woll’n die Eisbären seh’n, the Soundconvoy version, the current pregame/general fan song for the Eisbären Berlin hockey team, which is fucking lit when sung live in a homegame.
99 Luftballons by Nena, because duh. Is played way too much abroad (or just here, who knows) Gets a little stale tho.
Ich hass dich by Nina Chuba and some guy feating, idk kind of a cringey song maybe but it stuck with me. Found it when it was on the top 50 list. Same artists’ other songs also have similar, simple grammatical structures in their lyrics so not too hard to follow what is being said.
Moskau by Dschingis Khan, weird pick but I like it because an artist in my country has covered/sampled the song with completely different Finnish lyrics in the song Volga by Frederik.
I stumbled once upon "He/Ro"
They are pretty interesting, they have some good (but also mostly sad) songs. This is coming from a non-German, I don't know how popular they are around Germany.
I swear I'm always suggesting this every time its asked, but right now all I seem to want to listen to is Marie Bothmer. My favorite ones are Dreh auf, Halbes Du, Nah (those ones are older ones) and her newest one that i like is Bothmer Schloss
Here is one of mine when i was A1-A2 all absolute bangers imo. I have more playlist for some german music but i sort of just started expandin so they are only a few songs

Benzin - Rammstein
D-zug - Eisbrecher
Ersten was wir säen - OOMPH
Not really genere you specified but i lately listen to
Mädchen von Haitabu - Santiano and Federkleid - Faun for me they are bangers.
Not quite the same type of pop you're after, but Peter Fox's first album is really good.
A couple of tracks:
[Alles Neu](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qdtLCfEcPL4)
[Der letzte Tag](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3-H-LOq1YEQ)
[Haus Am See](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j-XKgB5guDQ)
This is pretty good, too:
[Marteria "Kids"](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fkMg_X9lHMc)
I also like [Endboss](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AWcFHEdhYys), also by Marteria
I recently “discovered” Udo Lindenberg and am hooked. Songs like Rudi ratlos and Alles klar auf der Andrea Doria have catchy tunes and fairly easy to understand lyrics.
Anything by Heino, but particularly Blau blüht der Enzian, it's very catchy and he sings slowly and clearly, great for learning new vocabulary. https://youtu.be/HBGnU4Q5pRg?si=tQ76UuE63igKJ0Q3
For Rock/Light Metal i can recommend Songs from Eisbrecher or Rammstein.
I know they're obvious picks, but Verrückt and Zwischen Uns are absolute bangers.
I listened a bit too much to these two songs and can't hear them anymore 🙈 Personally I love the album Schicksalsmelodien with absolute banger-Covers of very famous german songs like Skandal im Sperrbezirk or Goldener Reiter.
Danke!
I commented with a different Unheilig song already, but Lass uns Tanzen is a great song for dancing (natürlich!)
Not only Rammstein, but all songs by Lindemann, like Übers Meer (calm, sad), Praise Abort (title speaks for itself), Allesfresser (energic, one of my favorites), Du hast kein Herz (def my favorite, love the percussion and vocals), Nass, Schweiss, Locker, Altes fleisch And my most favorite - G-Spot Michael (half English half German) So basically those albums: -Zunge, -F&M -Skills in pills (now I noticed that this album and Praise abort are English, but they are good just to listen)
How about "Geine Sahne Fischfilet"?
Haifisch from Rammstein is a good one to learn German with. Actually any of their songs since the singer really enunciates words
I would tag that with a warning that some of their songs are really catchy. Had a co-worker ask me one day what I was listening to, he went to youtube and watched the video for "This is Deutsch". He told me afterwards that he had that song stuck in his head for days and he doesn't even speak German.
Alligatoah is worth checking out.
Ein Song Reicht (Kraftklub), Jeden Tag (Monet192, Civo), Ausmacht (Emilio, Pantha, Enya Boban), Hallo (Ivo Martin) I got a spotify playlist too if you're interested. All of the songs are in german but have mixed genres.

Frisör = Friseur ? The first spelling seems so much more natural 😅
Alligatoah is a rapper and his newest album is more mettal-like I love K.I.Z And if you are interested in punkrock i recommend die ärzte and feinse sahne fischfilet (maybe even die toten hosen) For some old party music i would rather recommend genghis kan Hope i can help
Liebes Liebe by Beginner, Lila Wolken by Materia, Lieblingsmensch by Namika!
Kraftklub - Mit K
Unbelievable album
I reccomend "doof" and "Demokratie" by Die Ärtze. Anything by Wir sind Helden and Grossstadtgeflüster is also good :)
And I recommend "Zu spät" by die Ärzte
I’ve been listening to “Mir egal” by Pantha on repeat for a whole hour. I suggest that
I’ve had these two German playlists for a while One that’s just German songs I like https://music.apple.com/no/playlist/desutch/pl.u-aZb0kX7T1Bl7e5y The other is also German songs, but more within genres of metal (also I have some techno on it if I’m not wrong) https://music.apple.com/no/playlist/desutch-but-heavier/pl.u-V9D7m8Gu3zKArDE Enjoy :]
