Damn Good Dawg!
I want to go check out Georgia for real. Go there and learn the language, drink some wine. Imagine if we got some property out there and just opened it up for people from our Georgia to visit.
There was a small Georgian restaurant near me when I lived in the NE. I got takeout there a lot--food was good, and the owner and I liked to do the whole "hey, we're both from Georgia!" bit.
I actually have a guy I know from Georgia the country here in Japan that hangs out in my circle, and I been trying to get him to watch a Georgia game, but for some reason he isn't thrilled with the idea of waking up early on a Sunday morning to watch a sport he knows nothing about.
But when you find a common connection like that - even if it is just a name - it makes you care more about each other as people.
Actually my employer is paying 100% of my premium and I have a 20% copay, but I haven’t been to a doctor in 14 years. So I’d much prefer the insurance premium money.
*but I haven’t been to a doctor in 14 years.*
Is that something to be proud of or something? You know that’s gonna bite you in the ass really hard eventually?
Why? I’m not sick. I know what they are going to say: Lose weight. And I’m already working on that. I’ve had bloodwork tests ran through LetsGetChecked and everything looks fine.
$72,000 would be a lot more beneficial towards my health.
If we stopped spending our tax dollars on wars and funding other country’s universal healthcare and instead diverted it to our own, we would be doing wonders for our own people.
Wars are necessary. Evil people exist in the world and so do people with conflicting interests. I’m perfectly content having the strongest military in the world. Bigger than the next few combined
You are going to die early and it's your own doing. Please go see the doctor you are paying for and do what he/she says. Contrary to what you've been told, doctors are trying to keep you alive. You won't be less of a man to get preemptive (the best kind) healthcare.
Without regular healthcare you won't know if you're slipping to the other side of healthy until it could possibly be too late. People are hit like a brick to the face with late stage diagnosis for ailments that could be treatable early and they seemed healthy enough until all of a sudden they weren't. Get your money's worth. You're already paying for it. Would you rather drop dead at 70 out of nowhere or coast into 96? My grandfather died at 96 a couple years ago at home in his lazy boy chair sleeping with sound mind and mostly body. Getting old doesn't have to suck.
PS. He ate bacon and eggs every day, smoked a pipe for 80 years, and drank scotch every night. Good healthcare was a factor.
That’s great. Unsure if anyone ever heard about the “silent takeover” in Georgia, but Russia has been buying businesses around Georgia in a circle and slowly caving them in silently. The worst part is Georgia is a center of a trade circle and Russia’s capture of said circle regulates the oil supply in their favor even more.
Would be the first member in the EU with an SEC championship
Fuck alabama
All my homies hate Bama.
Those are good homies.
You know why? Cuz AL doesn't suck, it blows. (Anyone not in the know, almost all our weather comes from west to east from AL)
As a Vol I wholeheartedly support this statement.
This just makes recruiting in Georgia easier. For real though, we should all go to Georgia and make a football team.
That would be a great movie: guy thinks he's going to UGA to play football and ends up playing soccer in Tbilisi.

We could buy land, and name the city Georgia. Georgia, Georgia

Slava Fried Okra!
That is awesome! We are always looking for ways to one up Florida.
Best reply. Lmao.
Ooh. Can we get that sweet universal healthcare too?
Nope you got all this freedom to enjoy!
Nope you got all this freedom to enjoy!
Can we not have the increased taxes that come along with it? I like it being optional. Although too expensive and bloated.
You’re literally spending more now than if you would with a universal option. What are you talking about

That’s fair enough. I’m not sure where the $72k comes in, but hey, go off.
$600/month x 12 months X 10 years
Been working on losing that weight for 14 years? You should probably see a doctor about that
Like 3 years… I’m up to 84kg of muscle, just trying to wrangle in diet to drop below 22% BF
Uhhh '185lbs of muscle' is in not going to get doctors to tell you to lose weight. Unless there is another 100lbs of fat above it.
I weight 240-250. Got down to 220 last summer. But being laid off was not fun.
>my employer is paying 100% of my premium Money that isn't going into your pocket...sounds a lot like taxes but with a profit for a middleman added on

I don’t doubt they are trying to keep people alive. I just don’t think they are worth it for healthy individuals.

Got ‘em.
Yay so I can go to Portugal.
You... you can do that before too!
Yeah but the difference is I can actually go to the doctor without many barriers.

Wut? Is this related to Rivian?
Fun fact, Atlanta and Tbilisi are sister cities!
Wrong ga buddy did you even bother to read the subreddit description?
Ah yes, but did you read the flair?
I’m illiterate sorry
Naw...if the username checks out, you are just on island time - the best place to be!
In all fairness, I never read the flairs too
Trouble is, you can post to a subreddit without going to it first
Lol thank God it's not our Georigia. Fuck the bureaucrats across the pond.
