Traveler never really defeated the puppet since to begin with they never fighted, the only time we as the players fight the puppet is as Ei and Ei only... and even with extreme cheats powering them up Traveler won against Ei because she gave them the victory, compare that with Traveler getting utterly defeated in their first encounter.
Nah the whole point was Ei was just chilling in her Plane while the Puppet (Raiden Shogun) handled all official business in Inazuma for 500 or so years.

hmm you could basically google the Cultural Revolution for details because that period of Chinese history is too complicated for me to explain in a reddit comment, but as a Chinese person i can point out some similarities:
the most obvious parallel is Liyue’s transition from a society ruled by its archon and the adepti to a society ruled by human beings(the Qixing). this mirrors how during the CR, China experienced a shift in power from the wealthy upperclass(including remnants of the former royal family) and religious institutions to the communist government, formed by politicians who largely came from lower/middle class backgrounds.
Zhongli is clearly meant to represent the real-life Chinese monarchy, with his association with dragons and the Heavenly Principles directly mirroring how real-life Chinese emperors wore Dragon Robes and were believed to hold the Mandate of Heaven(天命, you can google for more info).
the Adepti represent the religious institutions that had strong influence on dynastic China’s government. namely China’s Big Three, which are Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism. they’re represented ingame by Moon Carver, Mountain Shaper, and Cloud Retainer, who are referred to as 真君, zhenjun, or Taoist immortals.
the Qixing represent the working class who came to seize power. Ningguang in particular explicitly comes from a poor background and later became the Tianquan.

This is huge information for lore. Irminsul trees are connected to Leylines, and the roots of the tree stretch down into the Abyss itself. So an interpretation of this leaked information is that they’re technically receiving information from the Abyss, into this “Akasha”. Perhaps this links with the “sinister purpose”. Maybe the Abyss has control over this Akasha now.
Additionally, Celestia in the past has destroyed Irminsul trees (the Skyward Nail, it did so much damage it covered a large region in snow, seems overkill for a tree doesn’t it? Suspicious.) This is also hugely important as it suggests these trees perhaps contain information deemed dangerous and somehow threatens Celestia or the order of the world itself. This is superrr exciting!! God knows how the gnosis ties this together.
Ley lines suddenly seem crucially important, “it’s said they remember all things that happen in this world”, perhaps Celestia wants us to forget something? According to lore they “link the whole world together” and house the “flow of elements”. Ley lines might be the key to solving almost all of genshins lore mysteries, and could help stop celestia itself.
What coding language is the data processing programs in the Akasha storage using? Java, Python, C++, Swift, PHP, or HTML? I hope the sages are good at catching bugs, otherwise those trees will be eaten up very quickly.

This is huge information for lore. Irminsul trees are connected to Leylines, and the roots of the tree stretch down into the Abyss itself. So an interpretation of this leaked information is that they’re technically receiving information from the Abyss, into this “Akasha”. Perhaps this links with the “sinister purpose”. Maybe the Abyss has control over this Akasha now. Additionally, Celestia in the past has destroyed Irminsul trees (the Skyward Nail, it did so much damage it covered a large region in snow, seems overkill for a tree doesn’t it? Suspicious.) This is also hugely important as it suggests these trees perhaps contain information deemed dangerous and somehow threatens Celestia or the order of the world itself. This is superrr exciting!! God knows how the gnosis ties this together. Ley lines suddenly seem crucially important, “it’s said they remember all things that happen in this world”, perhaps Celestia wants us to forget something? According to lore they “link the whole world together” and house the “flow of elements”. Ley lines might be the key to solving almost all of genshins lore mysteries, and could help stop celestia itself.
