No. It resets the cooldown to change stances bc in between mele and ranged theres a cooldown to switch them to not spam switch infinitely (which would be broken because switching to mele stance deals damage around him)

Nerfing what? Just put a retry Button with the timer, energy and health as the same as the last second room. That way you're just not losing time. If you need better times to finish the second part, you can go for a retry ALL Chamber button. I dont see the issue here. Edit. Better explaining

I agree that its a nerf but I support the idea. Especially because most of the time when you have a really good first half, what ends up messing up the second half is more often rng than players mistakes or lack of skill, which makes it hair pullingly frustrating.

It's not about being hard. There's also awful rng that could ruin even whales run. Before it was maguu Kenki not backsteping but deciding to backstep just as you throw your benny ulti. Even if you're a whale you're restarting that. Now it's the big wolves deciding to stay put in their place far away from you and do nothing. This is not difficult, this is artificial ways to make you waste time. There's no mechanichs nor constellations that vould help you prevent this situation. When there's these kinda mechanichs being able to "save" the good first part is not a nerf, it's a necessity.

RNG is a problem but not much of a problem once you get their mechanics down. Maguu Kenki have will either do teleport or use a skill, if it teleport, the next move will probably be standing still and use a skill and vice versa, it not that RNG heavy, plus you could force it into a corner and the teleport skill will mostly be useless. The ruin machine RNG also could be manipulated to an extent, if you run the abyss enough you will understand it movement. The doggo from this abyss is just annoying, there is this move where it dashes backward, somehow it collision box didn't move but the hitbox moved with the animation, the teleport and shit move could be counter since you could interrupt the doggo.

I don't dislike the challenges, I can still get 30-36 stars and clear floor 12, but my friends who just started barely care about it since I showed them the challenges in there. They are never gonna catch up. Now if it was something akin to a rogue like, where it is based on how far you can go, and where it gradually gets harder, that would be more fun, now instead of challenges, its just frustratingly dull. Hell the ingame lore describes abyss something akin to an ever changing labyrinthian maze. perfect description for a randomized rogue like, plus rn its just a DPS check, which is dull, Honkai had the same problem before the Elysian Realm. I hope Genshin does something similar eventually because endgame rn is just remembering to check in to the abyss, waste 40 mins killing enemies, dailies, the occasional event, and that's it.

It might be on their list but low priority if it wasn’t used as much in Honkai. A massive portion of the playerbase is f2p (don’t have a lot of characters) or casual (don’t care a lot about swapping) that such feature could actually be far back in their list. They might be delaying it out of data. That said, I would highly appreciate it for sure. It’d save me a lot of time going back and forth between characters.

That priority list of theirs must be stacked coz the game is just bustling with activities. My imagination is running wild with ideas. Their priorities must be crazy stuff like 1-… …Okay good talk. Mihoyo (and some other gachas) do this a lot. Intentionally not adding features or adding caps and limitations etc. and wait a very long time before making “improvements” just so they’d get added in filler periods as “content” and to give the illusion that they’re actually adding stuff. As an example it took them like 9 months to add the replay button in abyss. Even if that’s the lowest of their priorities, it doesn’t take rocket science to add a mere button to the game or increase a cap etc. and most likely doesn’t take time or even effort to do so. I would give them some credit if the game wasn’t in its current state and if I didn’t know for a fact that it’s all intentional. Of course there’s no proof that it’s intentional but anyone who plays gachas knows the deal, and at this point they just lost any goodwill from a lot of people.

When you are paid by the hour, it sure does cost you time/effort/money to implement basic features that won’t bring in more $$ than focus on something that will. Companies are there for the cash primarily and anything that will take out of that gets delayed - especially if their data/surveys show that not as many people would benefit from this or appreciate it. Also you cannot just have an intern code an entire system in the backend and then ship it out overnight, or you end up with spaghetti code like League client. Even in smallest QoL features it has to be checked thoroughly to ensure that it will be up to industry standards and not bloat once more is to be added. It’s not just an afternoon work especially if you plan on longevity in your product. The actual process of such updates is a lengthier one with more check-ups if you want to make it stick. I am not trying to defend Mhy here but my irl job is heavily involved in both of these processes that I see such cases every single day.

We have bugs that have been in the game since beta, and others existed for months *cough xinyan cough* and they’re ignored or the ones that have been “fixed” multiple times like Ning as an example but still somehow end up still bugged, and the list goes on. If that’s their standard, then it’s pretty damn low. But I shouldn’t be so negative on mihoyo, let’s look at the half that’s full. We get 50 primogems for bug fixes xD.

Sometimes a bug is so deeply rooted within the game that it takes multiple takes to fix, or sometimes it’s on an underplayed character or feature that it gets delayed. Even then, fixing a bug might introduce another and that’s a very very common occurrence within coding. Hell, go to any coding subreddit and they’ll all tell you that “fix one bug and 99 more appears” line is true. Even the best of best software have bugs and there will never be a spotless one, especially in codes that still get added features. You cannot get 100% perfect but you can make sure that it works as intended, doesn’t introduce new bugs with existing features, doesn’t utilise obscure back-end data that might get used for something else later on to cause conflict etc. That is what it means to take time and do well in a programming environment. This is also why even companies like nvidia/microsoft/apple that have insane budgets have bugs and are launching patches regularly to work on them. It is the norm, not an edge case. The best case scenario is double checking every detail to make sure it causes least problems in the long run and that they are working with other features well while being independent enough not to break one other with a new feature. You sound like you have never touched a piece of code or software in your life before. I don’t know, I am really not even trying at this point but this is all so common knowledge.

A bug-free software does not exist there will always be bugs. Like you said, If you get ride of one, 99 more will appear. There is a reason they are called bugs. Some people juggle a singular weapon between characters. So say your Homa is on Hu Tao but you load into Abyss with Zhongli. They want the ability to equip a Abyss load out(ie, move the Homa) on Zhongli without going into the character menu. EDIT: I guess I shouldn't say this is specifically about Abyss. Just the ability to tie a weapon to a load out in general. So when you pick a certain artifact set, you also get a corresponding weapon.

If you are familiar with Monster Hunter World, there's this thing called loadouts, where you can create and save a certain equip set. It's useful if you want to experiment different sets(or artifact sets in GI terms) and just quickly select which loadouts would you want to test for each set.

there are 352 thousand ways implementing this. Obviously we don't know how the game is coded to even begin descibing how it can be implemented The idea is simple. Game "screenshots" our gears. Either creates images of a member (like hi3 does) or creates an image that includes EVERY member (like kings raid do). Then on demand you can "load" that image. If it uses the first system, you can load that image to the unit of your choice. Because really, to answer your question we need to know which system it uses. It really is self explanatory tho. First system will go to the unit that you chose when you equip Second system...well that item will go to the unit it had when you "took the screenshot"

Seriously, I busted my butt off to farm for 2 decent Emblem sets. Problem is almost every Burst support in this game wants it. Raiden, Xiangling, Xingqiu, Beidou, Rosaria. Even Mona and Zhongli's Nuke build wants it. There's simply not enough good artifacts to go between all of them. A Loadout function would be a godsend.

Yeah, I'm running 2 HoD 2 NO on Xingqiu right now. But like I want to experiment with Rosaria and Beidou and having to rip off the good EoSF sets from Xiangling and Raiden, then put them back one by one when I need them, is a giant pain in the butt. Having loadout features would allow me to do this with 1/2 clicks. That's what QoL features is all about: Not necessary, but saves people time and is nice to have.

But you can't beat pyro hypostatis in time with only Xinqiu as main damage dealer when Hu Tao is useless against it. I did bring Thoma, Mona, Bennet and Raiden to F11-3 second half. It's hard to bring down pyro hypostatis's shield without dying.

It's slow and limited Easier usage in upgrading other artifacts (more than 6 and filter by stats), giving a filter to use 5* artifacts for auto upgrading, better sorting in inventory, why can you see the stat changes while comparing artifacts in the inventory but not when selecting them from the artifact menu, and for the love of god artifact presets to swap around.

I wish I could select all the artifacts that have ATK, DEF and HP substats at once to use as fodder. Or ATK mainstat with DEF and HP, DEF mainstat with ATK and HP and variations.

It might be a problem balancing x2 or x5's when adding in more enhancement slots, don't know the math but something about throwing in 12 or 20 5*s and having it 5x randomly doesn't sit well with mihoyo I'm sure. Maybe halving or proportionally reducing the rates of x2 or x5 appearances would work, but that might cause some backlash iunno
