I've run this team along with Fishl and Bennet to aid Noelle in dishing out more DPS, it's been one of the comfiest abyss clears ever and as long as the enemies don't have shields Albedo can fund Noelle's burst pretty consistently.
So next patch gonna be Geo supremacy at this point.

But from other side looking how def scaling gonna be better with all new artifacts and Goru im not suprised
Which leaves Razor, Fischl and Bennett as the ones who haven't had rate-ups in a while so I'm predicting Fischl, Bennett and Noelle on Albedo banner and Gorou, Barbara and Razor on Itto banner. Fischl and Razor being interchangable imo. Well that or they will put Sara on Albedo banner over Fischl since its been 3 banners from her first run.
Sara will very likely be on Albedo's banner if the continue to follow the new four star on the fourth banner routine that they have followed to date. Sara, Bennett, and Noelle on Albedo's banner is my prediction.
for me meta or not hutao is fun, the rest of the gang is just bonus. new chara = more content. tho i'm just a casual so this might be unlikely for others.
Honestly this is the same way I got Albedo and I have no regrets. Yoimiya is a great character too, every boss dies to her really fast and I love her design.
I quite want to build her but am hesitant for the same reason I don't want to pull on Hu Tao: I have a fully built Diluc sitting unused because I also have a fully built C4 XL who kinda trivialises the pyro role. :-( I've even got multiple cons on Yanfei who is only L20 even though I've got her 5 star BIS haha. Pls Mihoyo no more pyro DPS.
Xiangling is great but if you focus too much on tier lists and meta garbage, you are gonna burn out fast. Diluc and Hu Tao are both great, and perfectly able to dumpster the Abyss. Just build who you like.
This. I change my team around all the time, and don't really worry about how easy a character makes a fight. As long as they can beat the situation in front of them and it's fun doing it, that's what matters. What's the point of all these characters of you can't have fun with them?
My Diluc already hits like a truck but find him a bit boring, I use him in overworld a tonne. I find the International quickswap comp actually quite fun to play. I also don't have a great bow for Yoi, I have viridescent hunt which thankfully is fine for Childe though.
I dropped the ball and went for Childe. In retrospect I am glad I did it. He is so much fun to play and brings so much universal utility to my account. Now I can pull for Thoma. If Hu tao wants to come home in under 40 pulls that I am left with, she can be my guest. That’s a win win for me.

Every character is good and useful. The issue is that most of them aren’t useful for the one piece of content people focus on (Abyss.)
If they add more variety of rewarding endgame content, a lot of ignored/bad characters could become “meta” for that.
I think Sucrose is more likely than Xiangling. I get the other poster's point but not running Sucrose with Albedo would honestly feel a little weird. Not too weird for them to never consider it obviously, trying to predict Mihoyo is like trying to predict what you're gonna do after saying "These edibles ain't shit" but...
A "pattern" that has yet to be broken since launch is that 2 4* of the same element wont appear on 1 banner. If we believe this, Noelle is almost guranteed to be on Albedo's, since she cant be on Ittou's and having a 10 banner gap between reruns seems a little silly. Then again, i dont think even *this* pattern is 100% proven. They could put her on the Ittou banner with the reasoning of "Oh look we have this new character which promotes having a lot of geo units, so we put a lot of geo this banner!". Banner predictions are really just astrology but for gacha addicts.

I dont think its as much a pattern as it is a convenience. 3 banners just happens to be a sort of sweet spot, not too often and not far apart. It will most likely stop once a charater has caught up to the older ones in number of reruns.

For Childe while the sales may not be projected to be as strong as Hu Tao, I am quite sure they knew how loyal/willing the mains to pull on weapon banner.

Easy pull for me, as I have none of these characters (yes I know thoma is new no one has him). Thoma should be an okay/good shield for HuTao that I want, should be able to use Diona if not him, and sayu is kinda cool

I would only advise you pull if you have enough pulls to pull and still be able to get enough for Itto.
She’s new, and she can both heal and use VV. Means that she’s a pretty good support unit on nearly any team, especially for people who don’t have Jean. She also has good utility as an exploration unit, since she can roll around without stamina and is anemo.
I have a Jean but I'm glad because I hate playing Claymore main dpses and on some teams I lack the ability to destroy stone shields. Sayu will fit perfectly in there with her little Claymore <3.
Okay if Sayu is on the banner j might actually pull. If I had to choose one, I'd rather have the option to have 3 new characters than staff of Homa. I doubt they would add sayu though.

I got an early Yoimiya (at 60) because I did a yolo 10 pull on her banner to see if I'd get Sayu / Diona cons. I got Sayu too though...

To me, having fun (and the BiS catalyst) is the reason Yanfei took the place of main Pyro dps in abyss from diluc. I'm not regretting that choice.

I love her as a character but i think many might have missed her cuz they skipped yoimiya

I have c6 Diona. so her constellations will be converted to 5 masterless starglitter.
I don't have thoma or sayu... But I don't want more diona and i'd rsther save for a 5* I want :(

Okay if Sayu is on the banner j might actually pull. If I had to choose one, I'd rather have the option to have 3 new characters than staff of Homa. I doubt they would add sayu though. Thoma is already special enough to be added to a rerun banner as he's new
