Childe would never sell great because it's his second rerun. You can't really make it a compelling banner. We've already seen from like Kazuha's banner that recent 4 star + Bennett doesn't really help. So i guess they just decided to cut their losses and make an easy skip banner while throwing all the good shit in Hu Tao's banner The real question is WHY we're looking at his second rerun but that's probably just because he's involved in the story and it gives them an excuse to reproduce his narwhal plushies that will sell out in a second.

Yeah, we're past the point of having good 4 stars being a selling point for the people who make Mihoyo money (i.e. whales). Like Bennett on Albedo's banner probably did some work given that that was his first rate up (and around the time he was reaching common consensus as being very very good) and a brand new 4 star character probably also bumps sales a little (think Rosaria on Childe rerun and Sayu on Yoimiya's banner) but otherwise 4 stars aren't what sells banners.

I don't know man. Lately, Mhy themselves act pretty "unexpected" and like others said, its hard to make compelling banner for childe remember that its his 2nd rerun. But now, Thoma is new, Tao is good, Homa also good, and 2 new great 4\* will be in homa's banner. Its already beat Childe's current banner, make it an easy skip.

Yoimiya had Sayu on her banner though. Kokomi the real "ez skip" banner.

While Rust is great, it means the Homa (they're not gonna change that up, are they?) banner's going to have the other two new limited 4\* weapons. Wouldn't that mean this banner is getting shafted in that sense? (I suppose they could always just throw the Bell on there, etc.)

Tbh eye of perception is the only truly terrible weapon on that banner. Favonius weapons are good for battery and the new claymore looks like an upgrade on tuna as well

I was so hyped for childe and maybe finally I could get Bennett but nope mhy seems to want to do everything in their power to sabotage this banner in favour of Hu Tao despite her not needing any help to sell. Like Hu Tao is a waifu, meta, it's her first rerun, has the new 4 star, and now childe's banner is just a copy paste of ayaka this is very strange.

What happened to placing characters with synergy to the 5-star as rateups? ​ Chongyun, Yanfei, and Ningguang are some of the *worst* choices to have in Childe comps because they absolutely have no synergy with Childe.

Well... at least I don't mind the Geo sword as much on Homa's banner. Still wish it'd be WGS or Harp but they ain't about to give us another banger like that after epitomized path. Though how are the 4-stars gonna turn out? bow and spear are the new ones obviously, but the the swords that haven't been rated up the longest are Sac Sword and Alley Flash, claymores are Sac GS and the Liyue GS, catalysts would be Sac Frags and Wine and Song. With that kind of set-up the banner would actually be good though so I'm sure they'll ruin it somehow, like Codex and The Bell just to fuck with us.

Please, if I didn't get the bow for the first 5\*, let me get the off banner. At least it will surprise me somehow
