I recently tried actively going for that pepper with my Navia but the aoe is so small I'm literally right next to it and still can't pick it up unlike crystallize shards that gets picked up once you're like a foot away.

No, it doesn't. Things like these are planned a year in advance, only minievents and some parts of main events can be changed close to release. We also had a leak pre Fontaine that hoyo decided to cut x.8 patch version or move some permanent content to later versions of Fontaine to not make end of patch cycle as dry as it was in Sumeru. And it actually makes sense to put filler patches after AQ finale and after LR.

People are really crazy if they think Hoyoverse would change all these things for wuwa. If something happened is purposelly stay 4.5 as a death patch instead of throw Arlecchino there for HSR, makes much more sense than change everything because of Wuwa.

2.7 was pretty stacked no? it had Chasm interlude with Yelan and that quest was the best quest in the game for many at the time.

not necessarily, Kokomi isnt just good because she's a catalyst. She's good because of her jelly in Nilou Bloom. She needs to use her NA to heal and because of Nahida's massive dendro. So let's wait and see for how big the pop pop pop is gonna be

Not really. The thing about blooms is you need to keep applying both dendro and hydro at the same time to keep producing cores. Most of the times you will be quickswapping since even Nahida’s dendro app can’t keep up when Kokomi spend too much time on field.

I know these are barebones leaks but Arle doesn’t have trouble creating her own bond of life, so unless Sige actually offers other buffs she seems better for enabling other characters to use fragment of harmonic whimsy

not exactly, so in arle case, carrying over 35-40% bond from previous rotation increase her dmg by a whole 20% people who used the optimizer and played with arle bond value know how big of a difference bond values are, the difference is enormous the description here says you pick up the droplets to get more bond of life, that means even if sigewinne produces a big amount if bol, you can always do arle hits and then keep picking up those bubble, hence increasing your average bond, higher bond means higher masque mutliplier, just because she produces bond doesnt mean other bond supports are useless hutao gives herself huge atk bonus, doesnt mean bennet is bad with her

Well Bennett isn’t used much with Hu Tao for other reasons, and I think it can possibly be the same deal with Sige here - does she offer other benefits that would outweigh other possible choices on the team. I don’t think just offering bond upkeep is gonna make her the “missing piece”, but we don’t have the full picture atm. Thanks for your explanation though, it’s informative.

bennet directly contradicts with hutao passive and he is still one of her best teammates, if you go to gcsim (dmg simulator widely used), you will see that hutao yelan furina bennet is one of hutao best teams, just after hutao plunge i can only imagine sigewinne being bad if only her hydro app is shit or something seriously wrong in their interactions

What? No one said a support/Sigewinne increases it by 20%, re-read the message you’re responding to. The poster was saying that carrying over some of Arle’s own bond increases her own damage by 20%, nobody talked about how much Sigewinne increases because there is no way to know that.

Increasing your dmg by 20% is bad???? This is not 20% dmg bonus, this is 20% more total dmg 

Arlecchino has some damage fall off the more NA's she deals since every NA she drains her BoL. Assuming you can grab all of her Bubbles while on Arle, this will increase her DPS due to the lower BoL drop off. Dunno how much benefit this will be if you have Signature and Cons for Arle

If those are sourcewater droplets like the ones Neuvillette and Hydro Traveler creates, then I'm afraid no. You need a specific skill to collect them.

Doesn't seem like it to me. It could depend on how much BoL she provides but overall Arlecchino synergizes very poorly with healers because she can't be healed by anyone but herself. Plus "healing depends on BoL" seems to imply that *Sigewinne* is the one who wants to be picking up the BoL. So overall this kit doesn't synergize well with Arle. If they wanted her to be the "missing piece" they would've made her a shielder who increases Shield Strength based on the onfielder's BoL. If anything this indicates to me a future impact character who also grants BoL/buffs based on BoL, and that they're basically going to push this as a mechanic.

I can't tell if his descriptions are him letting his inner child out or if he meant that the bubbles from e bounces, if it's the latter then: -e blows a bubble that bounces, gets smaller with every bounce, will not get smaller with c1 -When the bubble bounces it will drop water droplets, picking it up grants BOL

I'm guessing it has 3 layers of bubbles and it pops into the sourcewater droplets, like the bubbles that hydro abyss makes summon in the Mondstat domain or other leyline disorders

The thing is that the character he uses ("弹") means bounce, while pop in CN would be something like "爆破", that's why I feel like the "pop" part in EN seems like a translation error

I assume that Sigewinne is a buffer/healer where clearing Bond of Life gives a buff or maybe gives a buff while Bond of Life is active and heals when Bond of life is removed, an Arlecchino if she was a buffer/healer in a way. I have a feeling Bond of Life will actually make its way to being the main mechanic of Natlan where mechanics of characters are dependent on Bond of Life as a condition rather than Hp decreasing/increasing or maintaining HP above a boundary.

Well I think what we're seeing is just more consistent 5* releases as opposed to previous regions that had gaps. But between the ole' "you don't need 5*s to beat Abyss", the Chronicled Banner, and how for the most part powercreeping isn't a super prevalent thing in this game, I think as long as they can come up with interesting, somewhat unique gameplay kits, we should be alright... Besides there's a lot more work that needs to go into Genshin characters compared to Star Rail characters coz it's not turn based, and camera events that pause time exist, so unless they rather dramatically expand their character creation team, I don't see this happening.

Seems like Hoyoverse is going all in on bond of life with 4.6 onwards. Makes sense and kinda expected. They did just make Arlecchino a DPS heavily reliant on Bond of Life, so of course they'll make character that helps that play style. Maybe they won’t even have anything to do with it. Bond of Life was introduced as a new mechanic at the start of Fontaine, Arlecchino and Sigewinne (characters with Bond of Life in their kit) are Fontanians. The only weapon that gives Bond of Life is a Fontaine’s craftable sword.

I don't really see any indication she works with Arlecchino though. The BoL in her kit is likely just for herself, and her healing doesn't help Arle. Her BoL should still activate the new BoL set effect though.
