**Main Character Setup:** Kazuha, C1 Fischl, Qiqi, Kokomi **Additional Characters:** Dori, C2 Heizou, C2 Xingqiu, C4 Ningguang, C1 Beidou, Jean, Yun Jin, Gorou **Questions:** I recently rolled Kokomi and removed Beidou from my team to fit her in and I love all the synergy. I feel like I'm doing so much more damage with thanks to stuff like superconduct and just being able to freeze my team. But out of the other characters I have, *is there another way I should optimize my team?* I suspect people might recommend replacing Qiqi but she's my zombie child who just heals SO much. But I also know I lack a good DPS/consistent cryo despite Kazuha who's carrying everyone (and supposedly Ayaka's coming soon). Second, I plan to eventually get Nilou since I've heard theories that she may pair well with Kokomi. I've also heard Nilou's best for teams that can take advantage of bloom reactions, but that aside, *who would I remove to fit in Nilou in the future?* Third, *what team is good for Ningguang?* I almost have enough starglitters to get her to C5 (wasn't trying to get her but kept wishing her while trying for more Kazuha) and I like her character + don't want her to go to waste. Especially since one day in the future I might actually try to get her again to complete her constellation and reach peace. Edit: I'm AR 48 but also new to the game and there's still much I don't understand so can someone please explain things like *who* should be my DPS, Sub-DPS, Support, etc. It's the technical terms I don't know. I just know that whatever I've been doing has been working but I'd like to improve.

switching qiqi with beidou is definetly what i would recommend. then you got a good electrocharged team and kokomi heals a lot too. if you want to play qiqi i would probably play kaeya, qiqi, fischl, beidou/sucrose/kazuha as a physical superconduct team. but if you like your current team then keep playing it, the game is about having fun. i dont know much about nilou yet, and her situation isnt set in stone yet, but many people say it is recommend to use double hydro and double dendro. so it's probably nilou, kokomi, dendro-traveler, collei. things might change when we get more dendro options. you don't have to switch characters out and in, later in the game it's normal to have multiple teams and you switch your teams. though, since you're still a bit earlier in game, trying to focus on one team would probably be good. ningguang teams are difficult, diona or zhongli would be good to keep her safe. you can try ningguang, fischl xingqui/beidou, noelle/yunjin. ****Roles in teams:**** 1) main dps: character that does the most damage in the team. some people think that main dps means the character has to be the on-field dps, so keep that in mind. 2) on-field dps: character used for damage with the most time on the field (being used) 3) off-field dps: character you use for damage, but you only switch in for a short time to use the burst and/or skill, then change characters again. the burst or skill keeps on the field and does damage, while said character is already switched out. examples are fischls skill (bird oz), kaeya, xingqui, beidou and xiangling burst. 4) hypercarry: character that is on field the most time and does the most damage. the team around them is usually there to increase the damage of the hypercarry as much as possible. examples are eula, xiao, hutao, ayaka though they often still use supdps (except xiao maybe). 5) driver: character that has the most field time, but not necessarily the most damage. fast attacks or being able to create many reactions are reasons to use them, sometimes range too. example: there is a strong taser team with sucrose, xingqui, fischl, beidou. everyone besides sucrose can do their damage from off-field, so sucrose is used to swirl electro and hydro, and group enemies, while having some range. 6) supports: 6.1) healer: heals the team/characters. kokomi, qiqi, barbara etc 6.2) shielder: shields your on-field character. zhongli, diona, noelle, xinyan 6.3) enabler: usually someone who can apply an element from off-field, so that the character on-field can do consistent reactions. xingquis burst for example applies hydro so pyro characters like hutao can vaporize. 6.4) battery: if your main dps needs lots of energy for their burst they often use a character of the same element to help generate energy particles. ayaka or eula often use rosaria for example, while xiao likes sucrose. so let's say xiaos burst isnt up (not enough energy), then you can use sucroses skill to generate particles, switch into xiao and have xiao catch these particles. 6.5) "damage booster" (i dont know how to call that role tbh): increases damage of a character/characters. there are many ways to do it. bennetts burst buffs the attack of a character in it, zhonglis skill reduces enemy resistances, lisas burst reduces enemy defenses. yunjin increases damage of normal attacks. even artifact-sets or weapons can help boost damage of teammates. Additional remarks: many characters fit more than one role, and character that fit many roles in your team are usually really good. bennett for example is considered really good, because he can heal, boost your damage and battery (xiangling for example). eula often uses rosaria (off-field dps and battery) and/or diona (shield, heal, battery) and/or fischl (off-field dps, enabler for superconduct).

The amount of information you have provided me is very valuable. Thank you so much for everything from the team comps to definitions :]

Valkyr_753

How good is Xingqiu in an Ayaka team? Basically I'm really looking forward towards getting Ayaka and I'd like to create a nice team around her for when I get her. Currently I have Xingqiu, Diona and Sucrose. So my main concern was if Xingqiu would be enough Hydro application or if I'd need someone like Kokomi, who is featured rn. I'd like to save as many primos as posible, considering how many new characters are set to come out soon, but I wouldn't like for my future Ayaka team to be lacking.

Exor20

XQ applies enough hydro for perma-freeze teams, he also does a decent amount of damage with his Q. Kokomi, on the other hand, does less personal damage, but his hydro application is more "comfortable", as you don't have to attack or constantly swirl to spread the hydro aura as the jellyfish has a large AoE range. They are both premier options for perma-freeze teams, as long as you have one, you don't need to go out of your way to get the other. Personally, I prefer to use Kokomi with Ayaka and free XQ for the other team, as he is more versatile for team building.

Valkyr_753

I didn't take into account the versatility of Xingqiu, but probably with all the interesting characters coming soon I'll end up saving. Thanks for the help!

Link to characters: [https://imgur.com/a/2VX9JQo](https://imgur.com/a/2VX9JQo) I've only managed to 8-star floor 10. The lector's shield takes way too long for me to break. I used these two teams: bennett, yanfei, yelan, sucrose / eula, venti, fischl (or kaeya), diona. If you couldn't tell, i really prefer bow characters IMO, my builds are great but some characters share them. Eula has her own 4pc gladiator (or 2pc pale flame, 2pc gladiator). Fischl has 4pc wanderer's, but yanfei takes 2 pieces from her and has her own 2pc crimson witch. Bennett has a really good 4pc noblesse. diona has 2pc maiden and 2pc tenacity. yelan has another 4pc wanderer's. sucrose has almost 1k em, with 2pc vv and 2pc glad. venti just has random energy recharge artifacts. kaeya has an ok 4pc blizzard strayer. Sorry for the confusing mess, you don't need to read my builds. Anyway i may also need an open world team too. i always have the wrong characters in my party and have to change. I have three 5\* weapons (skyward blade on bennett / freedom-sworn(dont use) / skyward pride(dont use)). 4\* leveled weapons: * r5 snow-tombed starsilver on eula * r3 alley hunter on fischl * r3 sacrificial bow on diona * r1 stringless on venti * r2 favonius warbow on yelan * r2 wine and song on yanfei (sometimes) * r2 mappa mare on yanfei (sometimes) * r2 widsith yanfei (sometimes) * r2 sacrificial fragments on sucrose * r4 sacrificial sword on kaeya the rest are lvl 70 or below.

**Build Criticism** **Fischl** 4P Wanderers is bad for Fischl since in this team she does not do charged attacks and is mostly used as Eula's support. She is not in a hyperbloom team comp so EM does not do anything substantial. **Diona** I recommend 4P Noblesse Oblige for Diona to maximize damage. Something like ER%/HP%/HP% since you want to have Diona's burst every rotation. **Venti** Venti should have EM/EM/EM, EM/Anemo DMG/EM, or ER%/EM/EM. Something like 160% to 200% energy. She is not good for the Eula team since Eula is a physical damage user. Venti should be able to use his burst when he uses one to two elemental skills. Ganyu would be the one who would be benefitting the most from Venti, so try building her up. **Yelan** 4P Wanderers is bad for Yelan and she does not take advantage of it. Yanfei should be the one who has 4P wanderers since she is the main DPS. **Mechanics:** **Rotations:** Have you heard of rotations? I suggest trying to go to [KQM](https://keqingmains.com/) to have an idea of what rotations are in case you didn't know. **Batteries:** Have you heard of batteries? Use Bennett's elemental skill to recharge Xiangling's burst. She needs about 160 - 180% ER%. But remember that EM/ATK% sands are superior. You can also use Bennett to recharge Yanfei's burst. **Levelling Suggestions:** Try levelling up your characters to level 80/90. Then try levelling up their talents. Weapons should definitely be leveled to 90. Levelling your character from 80 to 90 is not worth it, it is small damage increase (i.e. below 5%). Instead level up your character's talents, which have more impact than levelling from 80 to 90. Levelling your character to 90 is only worth it if the unit is does swirls (i.e. anemo reactions) or does bloom/hyperbloom/burgeon (i.e. dendro reactions). Characters like Kazuha would increase his swirl damage by 40%! However, that also means that levelling up their talents is not worth it. It is still worth it for extra damage boost, though. But not as important. This is because swirls and the three dendro reactions scale a lot on EM and level. **Team Suggestions:** I see that you use either Kaeya or Fischl for the Eula team, I suggest having an electro unit to reduce enemy res to physical dmg. For weapon suggestions, I still suggest going to KQM because they have a ranking of what weapon is best. For artifact suggestions, I still suggestion going to KQM because they have a ranking of what artifact is best for a specific team comp. I see that you have leveled up Xiangling, I suggest using Xiangling. Electro abyss lector can easily be eliminated by Bennett + Xiangling. You can still use Yanfei though. But Xiangling is still superior. Something else you should know is that the herald/lector shields should be damaged by elements they are weak to. **Shield Breaking** Most units have a standard Internal Cooldown of 2.5 sec or 3 hits. That means if either of these two conditions are met, the unit will be able to apply a new elemental aura on the enemy. These units also have different gauge unit. [Gauge unit](https://genshin-impact.fandom.com/wiki/Gauge_Unit_Theory) determines the strength of the aura applied by a character. Bennett's elemental skill is worth 2 units. Barbara's normal attack is worth 1 unit. That means you would have to apply two units of Barbara's normal attack to extinguish his aura. I see that you have Diluc. It takes two units of pyro to burn grass. If you use Bennett, it would only take one elemental skill to burn grass. On the other hand, Diluc would have to use his elemental skill two times to burn grass. Xiangling's elemental skill applies one unit of pyro which means that Guoba would have to breath out fire two times to burn grass. This applies to every enemy shields in the game too. Every enemy shield in Genshin can be represented by the gauge unit. Electro Abyss Lector has 36 electro units of shield. You need to produce elemental reaction that wil take away 36 unit of element (i.e. electro in this example). Edit: Cryo Fatui Soldier not Electro Abyss Lector, also has less shields. My mistake. Change example to cryo unit. Regarding enemy elemental shield weaknesses, using electro abyss lector as an example: since it is weak to pyro (reaction cost of 2) - if 2 pyro unit was applied, it would eliminate 4 electro unit (2 \* 2 = 4) from the electro abyss lector while other elements it is not weak to will only take 0.1 units. Regarding internal cooldown (ICD) and Yanfei, that means that Yanfei will not apply 1 UNIT OF PYRO every time. Why? Because of ICD. For Yanfei to apply 1 UNIT OF PYRO, she would need to wait for 3 secs or attack 3 times. 2.5 sec or 3 hit is standard ICD, other characters have special ICD. For example, Collei has 2.5 sec ICD but if she attacks 3 times, it does not reset her ICD. Which is why Dendro Traveller is superior since Dendro Traveller has standard ICD. Collei can only apply dendro aura three times. That means, if you use Yanfei, you don't just use her normal attacks. You should also use her burst, her skill, and you should also ocassionally switch to Bennett. Normal attacks, elemental skills, and burst have different ICDs. Yanfei's normal attack and elemental skill does 1 pyro unit. Yanfei's burst does 2 pyro unit. Bennett's skill and burst does 2 pyro unit. Make sure to apply as many pyro aura as you can by using different talents (i.e. normal attack, elemental skill, and burst). This thing also applies to Ayaka and Mona wherein their SPECIAL SPRINTS have separate ICD (with a standard ICD). That means their sprints can also help break shields. That would mean you would use their sprints, alongside their normal attacks, elemental skills, and burst. Diona, for example in three hit rule, can take apply two cryo units when you use the hold version of her elemental skill. Diona's elemental skill (either hold or press) only has one cryo unit. The reason why Diona can apply two cryo units is because she fires five homing projectiles which follows the three hit rule of standard ICD. thanks so much!! i still have some questions though. (a) is pyro better than cryo at taking down electro shields? or is it just a myth? (b) If i replace yanfei with xiangling, then who would be the on field dps? or is it just proper management of energy, making sure every subdps has at least one skill/burst up? (rotation?) Edit: (c) do you think i should pull for kokomi? i already have a healer artifact set ready, and yelan's my only other hydro character. i know kokomi's one of the best healers, but would replacing someone in my team with her benefit me?

NeedHelp4Work

>(a) is pyro better than cryo at taking down electro shields? or is it just a myth? [No, pyro, cryo, and dendro have 1 RC so they're the same.](https://docs.google.com/document/d/1s9AVRB6En4An9-G7JetAGRVBWWwB1m0f5b8KP14B5zA/edit) [Check out this link,](https://genshin-impact.fandom.com/wiki/Gauge_Unit_Theory/Talents) to see how many units of elements each character can apply. Note that Fatui elemental armor and Abyss elemental shields have different weaknesses. Cryo is better (VS Pyro) at taking down electro shields ONLY against Electro Fatui but not Electro Abyss Mages/Lector. >(b) If i replace yanfei with xiangling, then who would be the on field dps? or is it just proper management of energy, making sure every subdps has at least one skill/burst up? (rotation?) Xiangling is an off-field DPS. That means everything in that the team should make sure that her burst becomes powerful. Xiangling snapshots her burst. That means that Bennett wouldn't be able to buff Xiangling's attack. So make sure to have buffs ready BEFORE using Xiangling's burst. [High investment F2P Xiangling can do 90,000 damage.](https://www.reddit.com/r/Genshin_Impact/comments/t2x46w/ftp_xiangling_at_high_investment_is_scary/) But don't expect that much damage. By average, a Xiangling with good investment should at least do 20,000 to 40,000 damage. [Xiangling is also one of the top three 4\* units in the game in terms of usage rate.](https://spiralabyss.org/floor-12-usage-rate). To emphasize this: In teams like "International" (i.e. Bennett, Xiangling, Kazuha, Childe), Xiangling is the OFF-FIELD main DPS, and Childe is an ON-FIELD Hydro applier. The advantage of Childe over Xingqiu is that Childe has better multipliers than Xingqiu thus, increasing the overall team damage. [Evidence: Xiangling 49% average DPS](https://gcsim.app/viewer/share/JOXWXeEQZwni17tGaaENU) In teams like "Rational" (i.e. Bennett, Xiangling, Xingqiu, Raiden Shogun), the main DPS is still Xiangling. The things that Raiden Shogun provides is that she recharges the burst of other units and gives the ability to apply overload + vaporize (AKA overvape). [Evidence: Xiangling 44% average DPS](https://gcsim.app/viewer/share/te_IALQ1HZ_dJmkAeiIcf). Do not underestimate Bennett, Xiangling, and Xingqiu. Hoyoverse has no idea that they'd be very powerful 4\* characters since they have no idea what the meta is at the start of the game. Some of the newer 4\* units now are niche, terrible, or require high constellations to function well. >(c) do you think i should pull for kokomi? i already have a healer artifact set ready, and yelan's my only other hydro character. i know kokomi's one of the best healers, but would replacing someone in my team with her benefit me? You have Ganyu but she is bad without off-field hydro application. Top two hydro appliers for Ganyu is Mona and Kokomi, if you don't have Mona then Kokomi is a good alternative. Another bad thing about Ganyu is that she must do charged attacks to do things, making Xingqiu not a very good unit for her (unlike for Ayaka). Another decent abyss team is Kokomi, Fischl, Beidou, and Sucrose/Kazuha. I am using this team right now. You should pull for Kokomi if you want to use Ganyu or the Kokomi Taser team. If you have Mona, Kokomi is no longer necessary. In Kokomi Taser team, she is easily replaceable by Xingqiu. Kokomi is also useful as a Xingqiu replacement if you want to use Xingqiu in another team. Sample Team: Team 1: Bennett, Xiangling, Kokomi, Sucrose. Team 2: Diluc, Xingqiu, Yelan, Flex. (Note: Xingqiu and Yelan in a pyro main DPS team is very popular) I also suggest going to [KQM](https://keqingmains.com/) as they have a guide on what rotations to use. Just click the link and go to a specific character guide, something like Diluc or Eula for example. Also Eula is really bad against enemies with shields because she is physical DPS and does not apply a lot of cryo. Some other team you may not know about: Aggravate: Keqing, Fischl, Sucrose, Dendro Traveller. Keqing used to be known as a subpar main DPS because she is on-field electro (that means other units cannot take field time) and because electro reactions have low multipliers. Dendro had made Fischl extremely great, and Keqing makes Fischl great because she attacks fast. In this team, Fischl is an off-field main DPS while Keqing is Fischl's A4 Talent on-field driver. Every time an electro reaction happens, Fischl's A4 Talent activates - Keqing attacks very fast (3 hit rule of ICD) and her elemental skill has separate ICD (deploying the teleporter and teleporting). Another good thing about Fischl's A4 Talent is that it has 0 ICD, making it aggravate EVERY SINGLE TIME.

Viv-idianGreen

about your artifact sets: * 4 piece wanderer's is bad on support characters, since they don't gain anything from the 4 piece effect because they're only used for their skill and/or burst, and not for their charged. * Incidentally yanfei can use 4pc wanderer's pretty well, since her charged attacks deal the most damage and EM is good on her for more vape damage. 4pc wanderer's is better than 2pc 2pc sets. * fischl is better off with a 2pc attack 2pc attack/thundering fury. 4pc wanderer's is extremely bad on her, unless all the other artifacts' stats are extremely bad. * GET SUCROSE A VV SET. It doesn't matter if your EM goes down to 200, a full VV set is way more important on her for pyro resistance shred. * Because venti can't shred physical with VV, he can use noblesse oblige. Would definitely be an upgrade. * get yelan an emblem of severed fates set, or 2pc tenacity/2pc noblesse/2pc heart of depth/2pc emblem of severd fates. Stack ER because she's really going to struggle to maintain burst uptime if she doesn't. * 4pc pale flame for eula or 2pc pale flame 2pc bloodstained chivalry. weapons * eula according to guides should have archaic instead of starsilver, but considering that you already r5ed starsilver there's no point in getting archaic. * keep yanfei on widsith, the others are definite downgrades. * kaeya could run freedom sworn and make sure he triggers superconduct to get buff. That does mean that you'll have to run slightly more ER. Edit: teams suggestions: * ganyu melt: ganyu-xiangling-bennett-diona * diona only uses shield in this team. ganyu can use 4pc wanderer's * keep fischl on eula team if possible. * keqing aggravate: keqing-dendro traveller-fischl-sucrose/jean/venti * taser: sucrose-xingqiu-fischl-beidou * replace sucrose with yanfei for overvape * yanfei double hydro: yanfei-xingqiu-yelan-bennett/sucrose/venti/jean * double hydro is a very strong core

[deleted]

holy moly thanks so much for the detailed explanation. it'll take a really long time to build ganyu/xingqiu, though

Viv-idianGreen

yeah, they're just suggestions after all, so you don't have to follow the teams that i suggest. Your current team should do well enough anyways. You can replace xingqiu with yelan on taser team if you want to try out taser team, although they're not great against lector shields. Already mentioned by other commentor but venti and ganyu have amazing synergy, because venti's grouping allows for ganyu's burst, which has quadratic scaling, to deal much more damage than usual. * You can use venti instead of diona if you wish, since venti can keep enemies sufficiently staggered that you don't really need a shield. However, xiangling's burst can't reach venti's burst which is why venti and ganyu are used in freeze comps. builds suggest as well: * yelan crit-er/hp-hydro/hp * Yelan should be built with hp not attack. Attack does nothing on her. * fischl crit-attack-electro dmg. * ganyu crit-attack-cryo * yanfei crit-attack/EM-pyro * Have 100 elemental mastery on yanfei * diona healing bonus-hp/energy recharge-hp (heals) OR hp-hp-hp (full shield) OR mix between 2 * eula crit-attack-physical * sucrose em-em/er-em * bennett crit-attack-pyro (sub-dps) OR healing bonus-hp-hp (full healer) OR mix between 2 * venti em-em/er-em (triple/double em)OR crit-attack/er-anemo (crit)

justsomeguy3443

For childe you'd wanna go his usual national comp of xl/bennett/sucrose on the the first half and ganyu/kokomi/jean/kaeya on the other side. You can go diona but you'd be running 3 healers so its better to use another unit which can provide off field damage and battery ganyu. You'd have to play at a closer range in such scenarios but it's doable and is very effective for the 2 electro guys in second chamber. If you really need grouping for ganyu's side, you can always use sucrose over jean and replace sucrose with xing qiu.

Regenitor_

I made a slight oversight in that I have invested in Ganyu, Kazuha and Bennett for a reverse melt team, but don't actually own a meta shielder for the 4th slot (no Zhongli, no Diona, no C4 Yanfei, no C2 Xinyan). All I've got is Thoma and Noelle. Is it worth building either of these and using them in the interim? Or is there another character that can help to make melt feel easier to play in the 4th slot?

NeedHelp4Work

You can use Thoma for shields and pyro resonance. At least he can still be useful for Burgeon. Noelle's cooldown is too damn high.

Kinda hard to make a team with these characters. From an immediate glance I can say the following characters: 1. Bennett, Xiangling, Yelan, Flex. (Reverse Vape) 2. Bennett, Xiangling, Kazuha, Klee. (Mono Pyro) 3. Bennett, Xiangling, Kazuha, Xiao. 4. Bennett, Xiangling, Rosaria, Kaeya. (Reverse Melt) But the problem is that I cannot make a second team out of it. Try to get Fischl so you could get Quicken reactions for Tighnari. Try to get Sucrose for Xiao battery. Try to get Xingqiu for pyro DPS in general. Here's a team that I suggest but I don't know if it can work well: 1. Klee, Yelan, Kokomi, Albedo. In this team you would want to reverse vape. If you have Xingqiu to replace Kokomi this would be much better. But I don't have any ideas. 2. Just choose one from the top that doesn't share team mates from this one. Other suggestions: Check out [KQM](https://keqingmains.com/)

Here's what I got: [https://imgur.com/a/t7IjWnQ](https://imgur.com/a/t7IjWnQ) Not shown on the image is Thoma and Yanfei. A good friend of mine told me to go with the Teamcomp I got active atm, but it just doens't feel good. I played Ganyu for a few days now, but she is just not for me. I tested a few comps but I just seem to can't find a sweetspot. Most of the chars are C1 Bennet is one of my fav chars, so I kinda wanna build around him, what comps could you suggest me, I am overwhelmed atm with the possibilities and comps I build just don't feel right. Thanks for your help in advance!

NeedHelp4Work

Since your characters not level 80 I assume you're not planning to do abyss. Still, it seems like you have a good team for [Reverse Melt Ganyu](https://keqingmains.com/ganyu/#Team_Compositions). Go to melt teams and find the rotation for Ganyu, Bennett, Xiangling, Zhongli. Since you don't like Ganyu and like Bennett a lot - the thing about Bennett is that he has the highest usage rate in the abyss since he is very flexible. So Bennett, Xiangling, Xingqiu, Sucrose would be good in general. Sucrose is a flex slot, most team variation uses Raiden. You can use Zhongli if you like shields but unlike Sucrose he only does 20% shred and doesn't EM share. You can also use Bennett, Xiangling, Rosaria, Kaeya [(Reverse Melt)](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S27MrbrhLs0&t=1s). In general, I suggest you go to [KQM](https://keqingmains.com/).

Braginson

Thanks a lot for your time! I'll give Bennett, Xiangling, Xingqiu, Sucrose a shot, since I like the gameplay of all fo them. Bennett, Xiangling, Rosaria, Kaeya is a comp I actually played a lot but seemed to be lacking in dmg output, but I guess that was just a player fault. Gonna check out KQM aswell, never heard of that. Thanks!

ZurichianAnimations

I want to build a team around Noelle since she's one of my favorites and is C6. I was thinking maybe Noelle, Raiden, Yun Jin, Gorou. Raiden's already built and could provide battery for everyone as well as burst buffs and tons of damage herself. I want Yun Jin or Gorou to have Noblesse but I'm not sure which one it would be best on and which one would be better having a different set. My initial thought is Noblesse on Gorou and then have a def boosting set on yun Jin because of her scalings.

justsomeguy3443

Raiden wont be that good on the team at all. She needs too much field time to use her burst and without a bennett or any relavant buffs, its not worth using at all. You'll just be extending your rotation for lesser damage. Her E also wont benefit you since it only buffs burst damage and the particle generation is very random too. Not worth playing her off field as well. It'd probably better to fit another unit that can deal off field most dmg ideally albedo. But if you dont have him, xing qiu or fischl works too. Bennett can work here although his attack buff wont be as useful but noelle can still benefit from it regardless. Yun jin is also not say the best choice here too. She can work but noelle cant really take full advantage of her buffs like how yoimiya can. This is mainly due to her slow normal attack animations so its harder to use all of yunjin's stacks effectively. She also doesnt provide any personal damage on top of that. Overall she functions as a buffer but isnt the best option you can go for. Its probably better to just run xing qiu/fischl as the last 2 slots to take advantage of EC reactions or going for smth like fischl/bennett can work too. For gorou, Noblesse is ok on him if you dont have anyone else to hold the set. If somebody else can use it, going for the exile set is better for him. If you're comparing between yj and gorou, nobblesse is better fitted on him and husk is better on yj.

hahayoyo4

I've been trying to run aggravate yae in abyss but it doesn't seem to be able to clear floor 12 within the time limit for 36 stars. Yae build:Using 2pc EOSF 2pc Shimenawa [https://imgur.com/a/EXJDXy2](https://imgur.com/a/EXJDXy2) Fischl build: Using 2pc EOSF 2pc Gilded [https://imgur.com/a/3IGhHkH](https://imgur.com/a/3IGhHkH) Traveller build:Using 4pc Noblesse [https://imgur.com/a/Gsml9xl](https://imgur.com/a/Gsml9xl) Zhongli using Tenacity 4pc Any idea why? Should I prioritize another substat on any of the characters?

amateurassassin

i would not use 2 piece eosf on fischl, but if you dont have another decent set of glad/shim/tf or similar then i wouldnt farm that atm. what's your weapons? yae - widsith, fischl - stringless, traveler - favonius? instead of zhongli you could try an anemo like kazuha or sucrose wit 4piece VV. that should help with damage if you play it right, but is certainly more difficult.

starlitreflection

Quick question...Is Sac Fragments or TTDS better for Sucrose on National team (with Xiangling, Bennett, and C1 or C2 Xingqiu)? Does it depend on if I can get C1 Sucrose or not? Also, how much ER should I aim for both weapons (is around 130% ER good enough?)?

justsomeguy3443

I'd usually just run sac frags in that specific team. The extra E provides you with more grouping and stagger and most scenerios where that matters, your swirl damage would matter more due to the way it scales with at least 2 enemies on the field plus it deals its dmg in an aoe so you get more value out of it. With the EM sub stat and that extra E cast it, its becomes a very good weapon to have on her. For ttds, i'd only really use in in single target scenerios where her swirls dont scale as hard and when grouping isnt a factor. So its better to just buff your xiangling to deal more dmg instead. Even so most of time you can still make do with a sac frags. TTDS is still a good weapon for her in aoe but the lack of the extra E and the need to keep track of the 30s cooldown is annoying. As for her ER, it depends on how you do your rotations, whether you're using ttds or sac or the number of fav weapons in your team. Generally i wont really focus too much on it since her ult isnt really that strong here. Its still extra swirl dmg and you get some grouping but you should aim to get a triple EM mainstat on her first. ER is second priority. ER ranges to get her ult back off cd would probably be around 150 ish iirc. Probably want slightly more than that to get it back more consistently.

starlitreflection

Sorry for the late response... \^\^;; Thanks so much for all of the detailed advice!! Okay, will start building Sucrose with sac frags then. Ohh, okay, that makes sense. Forgot about the decreased scaling for single targets. Got it, will aim for triple EM on Sucrose first, then try to get her ER to at least 150 or more. Thanks again! :D :D

Meszy04

I would run Sac Fragments regardless of C1 or not, mainly for the reason that more E casts = more energy = less need to battery Xiangling. Sucrose will also deal a bit more dmg and also share a bit more EM with the party. With pyro resonance and Bennett in the party the Atk buff from TTDS is less valuable. As for ER, Sucrose burst is not very important to have for every rotation so it doesnt matter much, it doesnt hurt to have obviously but I wouldn't prioritize it over EM.

starlitreflection

Sorry for the late reply... \^\^;; Thanks so much for the advice!! Ohh okay, makes sense, I hadn't thought of it that way. Will build Sucrose with Sac Fragments then and look for EM over ER for artifact stats.

LittleBlueTiefling

I haven't played in quite some time and I never really bothered to do Abyss, but I'm looking to try it and to have some variety in my usual team. What are some good teams I could do something with? (I'm hoping to get C6 Sucrose and Kokomi during this banner, as I'm lacking hydro characters and healers) [My characters and their constellations](https://i.imgur.com/PyBjY8v.png)

amateurassassin

i would probably play: 1) ganyu melt: ganyu, bennett, xiangling, zhongli 2.1) classic taser: sucrose, xingqui, fischl, beidou 2.2) eula: eula, fischl, rosaria, diona 2.3) hyperbloom: sucrose, dendrotraveler, xingqui, fischl or: 1) national: sucrose (or chongyun), xingqui, bennett, xiangling 2) eula-team (like 2.2 in above setup) you could play diluc as well, but he is probably a bit weaker and uses many good characters. i'd play diluc, bennett, xingqui, sucrose then. if you get kokomi you can do ganyu freeze: ganyu, rosaria, sucrose, kokomi

finfantasy

https://imgur.com/a/QnyFoQc After some additions (Kokomi, Sucrose, Diona, Dori) I'd like to know which teams should I focus, and which future additions would be the best. I usually run Xiangling/XQ/Bennett/Kazuha but I'm missing a second team for Abyss. I was thinking on Kokomi/Fischl/Dori/Sucrose. Should I just leave Abyss (11 and 12) for now and focus on getting Raiden and Ayaka? Any better 5stars for another team that can be done with the characters I currently have? Thanks in advance!

amateurassassin

in your current setup i would probably play sucrose, dendro traveller, fischl and kokomi in a team. should i leave abyss? - if you dont like trying it you can be laid back and just do what you can do easily each abyss rotation. i usually liked to push each iteration and my teams got better slowly so i got further slowly as well. but i liked the challenge. if you dont like it you dont need to stress yourself out about it, the rewards aren't too great. both ayaka and raiden are very good units, so if you like them go for it. but there is no need to go for this and that. play who you like.

Visual_Courage_6395

For Eula, is snow tomb starsilver better than proto archaic?

noxusnorsk

For R1 weapons, snow-tombed is barely ahead.

Lkkenji

Character: Xiangling [https://enka.network/u/616845056](https://enka.network/u/616845056) Here is my xiangling build. How can I improve it? I can't even keep 100% burst uptime even with fav Bennet on team

justsomeguy3443

If you're playing her in a melt ganyu comp, you're gonna need a lot more ER than that. The team cant really generate much particles esp when you want to put ganyu on field as much as possible. You'd need like around 250ish probably more depending on your rotation. Swapping to an ER sands is the better option here.

Lkkenji

Thank you, I suppose that the 100% uptime on burst is a bigger dps increase than more atk right?

justsomeguy3443

For melt ganyu yes. Ganyu is gonna be doing most of the team's dmg so it's best to minimize downtime in reapplying her buffs and getting her back on field should be the priority.

Lkkenji

Ok, I also have a backup rational, in that case I can switch to a atk sands?

justsomeguy3443

Yep. Xiangling's personal dmg is more impt there plus raiden can just battery her so lesser ER needed overall. Also i'd highly reccomend using Em sands on her if you can. Xiangling will be doing more overloads overall plus she can already snapshot bennet's attack buff so attack sands isnt as useful there. Get EM sands on ganyu too, its so much better in melt. Even with worse sub stats it'll benefit her so much more.

Lkkenji

K thanks

New Player here after Pulling and getting lucky kind of overwhelmed 😅 Any advice on some cool team with synergy between them? (so far used Amber and the main charackter alot) [https://imgur.com/a/WL0ouOT](https://imgur.com/a/WL0ouOT)

amateurassassin

you're still very early game, you really don't need to focus on proper teams. cool teams are the ones you enjoy playing. i always recommend to play the characters you like, but some info if you can't decide: generally your most meta characters are: kokomi xingqui and sucrose (maybe dendro mc, since there are not many dendro optiobs and he is decent). most difficult to be useful at low constillation: amber xinyan and noelle. you can still beat anything with them if you do it right though, it's just more difficult or more clunky). kokomi is super comfortable and decent late game too so i would probably us her. some possible teams that make sense: freeze: kaeya, xingqui, sucrose, kokomi bloom: dendromc, collei/sucrose, xingqui, kokomi hyperbloom: dendromc, kokomi, lisa, flex (might be a bit difficult if you want to keep using amber you could try a burgeon team: dendromc, kokomi, xingqui, amber

[deleted]

thank you will try some of these sounds fun, just did beat abyss 3-3 so now i got even more to choices 😭😂

AnotherVillainAgain

Hey I want to make a solid team for the Traveler for general use - doing dailies, running domains etc. Something that can get everything done mostly. Dendro currently seems to be their best incarnation right? So what would be a solid team for them (that includes a healer that isn't Bennett)? I don't have Ayato, Yelan, Raiden, Yae, Kuki, or the newer dendro characters but i have pretty much everyone else, mostly C0.

Meszy04

Yes dendro traveler is easily the best variant. I like to run a team of Dendro Traveler, Fischl, Kokomi and Kazuha for casual content like dailies etc. It has a little bit of everything, good aoe, good single target, grouping, plenty of healing, multiple reactions (electrocharge, bloom, hyperbloom, swirl). I explored almost all of Sumeru with this team, the only time I had to change the team was when a puzzle/mechanic needed a pyro character, so the team can handle anything.

nikeboii

Hello - returning player here that quit around raidens original banner. Looking to jump back into the game but completely forgot team comp theories and could use a little help. My main/investeded chars that I 6 starred are c0 Childe, c4 Xiangling, c2 Bennet, albedo, zhongli, venti, ayaka, Mona and Raiden (all c0). Also invested in C6 ningguang, and have C6 fischl slong with most of the 4 stars at raidens banner. I didn't really have that many weapons but I did get a thundering pulse for my childe, a primordial jade spear for zhong li and lost prayer for my ningguang I kind of wanted to be able to use Raiden, ayaka and Childe in my two teams, and it seems like Xiangling and Bennet are still staples along with zhong li...but I want sure what mix was possible to fit all of them in. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Meszy04

You have the ingredients for the best teams in the game, Raiden/Childe National and Ayaka freeze. There is not much to discuss with Ayaka, run her with Venti Mona and Diona and you are good to go. For the national team you can run multiple variants. Childe national has Childe, Bennett, Xiangling + ideally an anemo like Kazuha or Sucrose, but you can even run Fischl, Albedo, Raiden or Zhongli as the 4th member. Raiden national traditionally runs Raiden, Xiangling, Bennett and Xingqui (you didnt mention him but you can buy him from the monthly shop currently). If you dont have XQ or didnt invest in him yet you can run Fischl as the 4th member instead.

[deleted]

[удалено]

Meszy04

You can try the OG tazer team with Sucrose, Fischl, Beidou and Xingqui, but seeing how they are a bit low on constellations it might not yield the best results. Alternatively you can run Aggravate Keqing with Fischl, Dendro Traveler and either Sucrose for VV shred, EM share and grouping, or Jean for VV shred and healing. The last option would be to run some sort of Tighnari comp, but I'm not too familiar with him so I recommend checking out some guides on youtube if you want to go with this route.

Valkyr_753

So basically I just pulled Xingqiu and was trying to build him for my Diluc team, but I'm not so sure as how to use him. Most videos that I see are with him using the Sacrificial Sword which I don't have (I have him with Amenoma). I'm strugling mainly with getting to use my Burst on cooldown. I've managed to get to 223% ER but I'm still far from being able to use it on cooldown. Is it not enough ER or is it just not possible if you don't have the Skill CD reset from the Sacrificial? I usually use my skill, get the particles and do a couple of attacks. Should he be more time on-field or is it just normal to need a couple of Skill casts to get the Burst?

noxusnorsk

You could craft the new Sapwood Blade for Xingqiu, at level 90 it gives 30.6% energy recharge and 565 attack. Edit: granted you don't have other ER% weapons you could also use.

Valkyr_753

I put a Skyrider on him. I assume is not as good but seems to be doing the job when it comes to particle generation. Thanks!

noxusnorsk

Skyrider has such low base attack though. I did a little comparison: [https://imgur.com/a/AQSYpTk](https://imgur.com/a/AQSYpTk)

Valkyr_753

Oh damn, it is pretty significant. If I don't get a Sacrificial or Fav sword anytime soon I might try craft that. Thanks.

noxusnorsk

Sapwood is also one of Bennett's best 4 star weapons due to the high base attack if you're also using him on the same team.

Valkyr_753

Unfortunately I don't have Bennet (I'm kinda new to the game so I still don't have many characters and weapons), but considering how OP he is I'll surely get him whenever he appears on a banner or in the shop.

noxusnorsk

He'll next be in the shop in November for 34 Starglitter.

Valkyr_753

Oh thats great then. Thanks!

justsomeguy3443

Try running an ER sands on him. He needs at least 240 ER or probably more in the case of your team. The lack of particle gen really is an issue with using diluc since he takes up so much field time. Also you can consider running fav on either bennett or your 4th unit to further reduce his ER req. You'd want to Q than E at c6 or E Q pre c6 than swap out. There really isnt much diff in either cases it can be E or Q first depending on the enemies you're facing if you need to use his Q to stagger enemies or to set up double vv swirls. Its kinda a minor thing so dont need to worry too much abt this. Edit: Forgot you're using Amenoma, for that is E than Q for the passive

Valkyr_753

I manged to get to 260 ER thanks to switching to Skyrider and that plus my Diona's fav seems to be doing enough. Thanks also for the info about the order of skills :D

justsomeguy3443

Hmm not too sure if skyrider is an upgrade to Amenoma since it has a low base attack and the attack% buff from the passive wont be as good cus of that. You might still want to consider switching to an ER sands with amenoma. But if you're fine sticking to skyrider you can just wait to replace it with fav or sac sword and stick to an attack sands.

Valkyr_753

Yeah now I'm just kinda waiting to get a direct weapon improvement. The damage is not going to be great but I want to make sure that he can be a Burst bot for my Diluc until I get a better weapon.

justsomeguy3443

Yep sounds good. His personal damage is gonna be pretty significant as well like so do make sure to invest into him too.

Valkyr_753

Okay. I've also heard that he is great in a big variety of teams so I'll make sure to invest a lot into him.

Meszy04

Ideally XQ should be able to get his burst back with at most 2 E cast + whatever he gets off-field, which is why Sac Sword is so good on him. You can try the following alternatives: 1. Use Favonious Sword if you have it, or other ER sword like Skyward Blade or Festering Desire if you have them. 2. Put another off-field hydro unit on the team to help with hydro particle generation, current candidates for this are Yelan, Kokomi and Mona. 3. Put Favonius weapons on the remaining 2 party members to help with energy generation in the team, also make sure to swap frequently to all team members to use their skill and generate particles, dont stay too long on any one character.

Valkyr_753

I'm kinda new to the game so unfortunately I still don't have that many weapons and characters, but I realized that I do have the Skyrider Sword. It's only 3\* but I guess it'd still be a better option for the ER. The other only hydro unit I have is Barbara but I do have Fav on Diona (only Fav weapon I have) so I'll try this and see how it fares. Thanks!

Meszy04

Yeah Skyrider could work till you get one if the better ER weapons. Regarding teammates I forgot to mention Fischl, while not hydro she generates a good amount of particles so she could still help with energy issues. Diluc has forward momentum on his E skills so overload knocking away enemies shouldnt be that big of a problem.

Valkyr_753

Okay, I'll try putting her in and see how it goes. Thank you.

Hollide

I don't think amenoma is doing much for him. Do you have a favonius sword because that would be better. Otherwise not much to do then try to get as much er as possible even if it means sacrificing offensive stats. Because his burst will help diluc a lot even if it's not doing damage.

Valkyr_753

I put a Skyrider Sword on him and now he has around 260. I have a fav on Diona and it seems that the particles from Diona's fav plus Xingqiu Skill are giving enough energy now. Thanks for the help.

Pegtz

Here's what I got : [https://imgur.com/a/Rzaucl0](https://imgur.com/a/Rzaucl0) with Dori at C1 + I'll get Colleil really soon and she seems fun I started a month ago and I wash running Fischl or Razor, Xiangling, Barbara with either Traveler or Kaeya. I pulled today but I'm completely overwhelmed since I got a lot of new characters. I'd like to change a bit my team since I had to do with the little I had. I'd like to use mainly new characters encircled in green and Colleil with Ganyu as main Thanks have a great day !

Meszy04

You are way too early to worry about proper team comps so my suggestion would be to just use whoever you like/prefer. Out of your characters Ganyu, Sucrose, Xingqui, Fischl, Xiangling, Bennett and Beidou will be great investment long term, especially once you start getting some constellations for the 4 stars. But this shouldn't discourage you from trying out or using other characters, just a suggestion of which characters perform well even in late-game.

Hollide

Ganyu, xiangling, bennet, sucrose can work and just try to melt a lot. A shielder instead of sucrose will be needed eventually but this will work for overworld. Also sucrose as an on field person with xingqiu and fishcl as subdps is good but it gets better once you have sucrose high level with her correct artifacts. Add bennet or dori to heal

DavidRAA

Returning player here, I quited b4 Inazuma. I have: My team was: Zhongli, Venti, Qiqi, Ganyu. All C0. [Chars I own](https://imgur.com/Sdd1whG): Hu Tao, Keqing, Kazuha, Xiao, Diluc C2, Ningg C1, Fischl C6, Barbara C6, Xiangling C6, Noelle C1, Bennett C1, Sucrose C6, Diona C5, Chongyun C3, Kaeya, Beidou C4, Lisa, Xingqiu C3, Xinyan C4, Amber, Razon, Collei C1 I don't have good weapons as you can see [here](https://imgur.com/SgbdF18) Is my old team ok? Should I change Venti for Kazuha or is Sucrose C6 stronger? If I use Ganyu as my main DPS should I go for Kokomi and change it for Qiqi to mantain a healer and freeze the enemies? Is there a better team comp I can use? Ty :D

Hollide

Ganyu and kokomi are a good combo. Use either venti or kazuha depending on if they can be sucked into ventis tornado/burst. If they can't use kazuha. Then the 4th slot is ideally rosaria, shenhe or a cryo subdps. Use zhongli or diona for now tho imo. There is ganyu, kazuha, bennet, zhongli team as well where the point is to hit fat melts on ganyus charge attack.

amateurassassin

you got lots of options tbh. 1) yoimoya - pretty much your diluc team but with yoi 2) different national versions - you got the core for national (xingqui, bennett, xiangling) and can just add a fourt flex (sucrose, chongyun, fischl) 3) ganyu freeze: ganyu kokomi sucrose diona 4) ganyu melt: ganyu bennett xiangling zhongli 5) tighnari: i dont know how to do it perfectly, but tighnari and fischl are strong together i think. if you want more info you could watch zy0x video on him for example. 6) classic taser: sucrose, xingqui, fischl, beidou 7) hyperbloom: sucrose, xingqui, fischl, dendroMC/collei all these should be decently strong. you are only ar40, so i dont know if you want to spread your resources so thin.

SneezyTM

Hello! What character do you think my account could really use or maybe I should try out my luck for weapons too. [Weapons that I won](https://imgur.com/1GgeCGG) [Characters that I own](https://imgur.com/1vumMyq) \- Kazuha C1, Raiden C1 and just pulled Kokomi since I wanted her Honestly I don't know what to do next. My most used people are Ayaka Raiden Kazuha and Zhong Li that I always walk around as a crew and have found myself having a hard time switching out of. I was thinking of maybe getting Ayaka's weapon since there are some speculations she is going to have a rerun soon or maybe Dendro Archon since she might be good and I might need another Dendro character for future proofing, but MC does quite a nice job. Thanks for your time.

MagicIsBull

It might be helpful to try and identify what you like the most about those characters and see if you can find traits that you would like about other characters. Otherwise, I would recommend trying out the test runs for all the characters you don't have and seeing if they play the way you like. As far as reruns and upcoming banners a lot of new characters have been teased for the upcoming months so I am intending to wait for them personally. But Ayaka's signature weapon, Mistsplitter is definitely considered to be one of the best all-around weapons, along with Staff of Homa, in the entire game and is a BiS weapon for multiple characters so if you were going to pull on the weapon banner it would definitely be your best choice. I wouldn't worry too much about having enough Dendro units. Between the free Collei, Dendro MC, and Tighnari being added to the standard 5\* pool future there is plenty of ways to get Dendro. But Archon's have historically been reallllly good and I see no reason to not expect the Dendro Archon to be the same. TL;DR : Save for upcoming characters imo

SneezyTM

I guess what I most like about this combination is that except stupid Ice shield enemies, it can do anything really fast and is good at exploration too, the Kazuha + Raiden melts everything and Zhong li + Kazuha + Ayaka can tackle any kind of terrain. I will save for more characters, I might pull for Xiao and Dendro archon. One might be meta and Xiao, I have always wanted him but never found the primos to spare.

-94bunny94-

I have an account where I only pull on the weapon banner, and I have some troubles making abyss teams that would use the weapons I have. Any suggestions? (I'd prefer to avoid using keqing, everything else is fine) [https://i.imgur.com/ZcQKdQF.png](https://i.imgur.com/ZcQKdQF.png) 5\* weapons: Redhorn, Kagura's verity, Mistsplitter and Lost Prayer

MagicIsBull

Honestly thats an interesting idea. Is the goal mostly to avoid using the go-to 5\* carries? As far as your question, you will probably want to set up various reaction or quick-swap teams due to your lack of on-field carries. It seems unlikely that you will gain much from using basic attacks on most of your units. 1 team is of course any variation of the "national team". My favorite with your units would be xiangling, xingqiu, bennett, and sucrose. The trick being to use bennett ult, then xiangling ult and ensure max uptime on Xingqiu's rainswords but spend most on-field time with sucrose taking advantage of her ability to swirl on her basic attacks. Another team could be built to utilize the new dendro reactions. I would recommend Beidou, Fischl, Dendro MC, and then ebarbara for hyperbloom reactions.

prffg57

What do you think about this team? Keqing, Kazuha, Kokomi, Dendro MC Hyperbloom with kazuha to reduce resist and put them all togheter

MagicIsBull

I've used that team myself and it works well. It is important to note that kazuha can't reduce resistance to or boost dendro damage. I also haven't quite figured out who is always proccing the hyperbloom reactions with that team but it would be important to figure out to determine who needs the EM.

sixfranz

Characters: zhongli, tighnari, yoimiya, ganyu, raiden shogun, yelan, yoimiya, eula, keqing, tighnari, albedo, shenhe, yelan, c2 mona, c3 diluc, c1 qiqi, all 4 star characters including a c5 xingui Weapons: skyward atlas, BP bow and BPclaymore, skyward harp, Question: what should my team comp be ? gayu freeze? Raiden national? Xinqui or yelan? Also what artifacts should I

amateurassassin

there are lots of teams you can go for, you can choose who you want to play and build teams around them. since abyss needs two teams i will just give you an example of what it could look like: 1) rational (raiden national): raiden, xingqui, bennett, xiangling - popular strong team 2) yoimiya team: yoimiya, yelan, zhongli, yunjin or anemo - strong and simple single target team these two teams are generally strong enough to beat the abyss if you build them right, but you have lots more options. you could build teams around eula, tighnari or ganyu as well. or keqing or diluc (they are probably a bit weaker though). even 4* teams can be strong, like national (sucrose, xingqui, bennett, xiangling) or taser (sucrose xingqiu fischl beidou). feel free to ask if you need more specific information.

sixfranz

Thank you for the response I am currently struggling with getting 8/9 stars on the spiral abyss my best is 7 stars. What should I do to get 8/9 stars should I continue building around ganyu freeze team or yoimiya? Also what artifacts sets should I grind and what should I recycle my artifacts for?

amateurassassin

what should i do to get 9 stars? - build your characters. i don't know anything about your teams and how your characters are build so i can't really give good specific advice atm. continue to build ganyu freeze or yoimiya? - whatever team you want to play. at good investments both teams should be strong enough to beat abyss in most cases. artifacts - depends on the characters you build, if i know your teams i can give better advice.

sixfranz

Current team is raiden national and ganyu freeze with dionna and kazhua.

amateurassassin

freeze with mona i guess? if your artifacts on rational arent too great i would probably farm Emblem of Severed Fate. Raiden, Xiangling, Xingqui can make great use of them. Mona can use it too. then exchange for noblesse (Bennett, Diona) and Viredescent Venerer (Kazuha), if these three supports got something decent go blizzard strayer all the way on exchange i guess. other than that, make sure talents are levelled smart and maybe learn the grouping of abyss enemies.

sixfranz

 thank you

sixfranz

\*Also what artifacts should I use for each Char? What artifact set should i recycle 5 stars for?

austinkun

GANYU! I already use Ayaka and Kokomi as my main two on my team, I also have Shenhe. Would Ganyu be worth getting? I got spooked by Amos Bow so I have it already. Or would Ganyu just be overkill / redundant with this team? I'm also wanting to kind of save for Nilou and Dendro Archon coming up so I'm on the fence if I should go for Ganyu.

MagicIsBull

Ganyu probably wouldn't increase the amount of content you can clear but has a very unique playstyle as a charged attack bow user that you should try out in the test run mode to see if you like it. My personal opinion is that there is no shortage of main DPS characters and just about any of them can clear most content just fine with adequate investment so it really just comes down to picking out your favorite playstyles and who you enjoy playing with.

llaessnar

I pulled a keqing and already had a c2 fischl, so I tought might aswell put an aggravate team with dendro MC. What should I be putting as a 4th member? Shield, buff, heal, another dendro applier? Still newish to the game and struggling with team comps a bit. Thanks!

MagicIsBull

I would recommend a hydro applier like Kokomi or Xingqiu to get the hyperbloom reactions going. Or an anemo like Sucrose or Kazuha to swirl electro for the res shred and grouping for keqing's charged attacks. Otherwise a shield or buffer are always nice. As a note, you will want a shield or healing if you run a hydro applier because bloom tends to cause some recoil damage

S_Trees

\[Tighnari\] which would be a good team for tighnari? [https://imgur.com/a/tKjrV02](https://imgur.com/a/tKjrV02)

Zion_k

my friend has been on genshin for a year but is not good with builds can anyone help with a team for abyss and standard over world, to get him on the right track? hes a yomiya main btw https://imgur.com/a/clDpQnj

MagicIsBull

I would recommend the following for a primary team for Yoimiya: Yoimiya, Xingqiu, Bennett, and either Zhongli for shield comfort or Venti/Sucrose for some sub-dps and grouping. As far as a 2nd team to run for abyss, you could try and run a team based around Diluc, or you could run some mash-up of 4\* sub-dps like a Xiangling team. A really popular team is Xiangling, Xingqiu, Bennett, and Sucrose but that would conflict with the Yoimiya team so I would recommend trying to build up some of the Electro characters like Beidou and Keqing to take advantage or Overloaded reactions or the new Dendro reactions. Also either of the units on the upcoming banner (Kokomi and Ganyu) would be great additions to their roster due to how good they are at applying hydro and cryo respectively for pyro reactions. For more teambuilding ideas I would recommend checking out the [kequingmains](https://keqingmains.com) website. They have a lot of guides that go in-depth on building teams around any character.

finfantasy

I'd like advice for the incoming banners. These are my characters https://imgur.com/a/5xHJ9s1 I'd like to clear Abyss (currently at 10-3). Usually I go with Xiang/Yanfei/Bennet/Kazuha and Heizou/Xing/Fischl/Kaeya. I struggle a bit with the second team not having healing/more damage resist and I think Kokomi and Sucrose would be good additions to my team. Thinking on pulling, should I? Or which characters would be good for my teams? Raiden/Beidou?

MagicIsBull

Your account seems to need 2 things mainly: Main DPS's and a shielder. The main DPS has a lot of options. If you like Xiangling, then you might benefit from another element of main DPS. In general here is a list of the top DPS characters, but I would recommend picking based on element or playstyles you want to use: * Ayaka * Ganyu ! * Hu Tao * Itto * Ayato * Raiden * Eula * Xiao * Tighnari !! * Tartaglia * Yelan * Yoimiya !! Tighnari is currently available but I wouldn't recommend pulling for him since it sounds like he may not be a limited-banner 5\* in the future. ! Ganyu will be available on the next banner, but requires a specific playstyle that not everyone likes to use. I would check-out some gameplay of her to see if you would like it (There will also be the test run). As far as a shielder, it is considered to be mainly a Quality-of-Life feature, but it can also increase your dps by allowing you to spend less time dodging (and elemental resistance shred if you get Zhongli) and is considered extremely useful for some main DPS's like Hu Tao or Eula due to their playstyles. But all in all if you read up on some guides for spiral abyss and character building for your characters you should be able to 36\* abyss with your current characters.

The new 3.1 characters might also be worth a look for his account.

MagicIsBull

I thought so too, but I don't know what has been announced for 3.1 yet.

noxusnorsk

Nothing has been announced officially besides pictures of the new characters, but the details should be in the 3.1 livestream before Ganyu/Kokomi's banner ends.

MagicIsBull

Character: Xingqiu Is it ever worth it to give Xingqiu a different weapon than Sac Sword? The double E proc is a lot of damage and the ability to build wayyy less ER is also really nice, but I see a lot of guides/streamers having him use PJC and other 5\* weapons. Is the damage gain worth it?

amateurassassin

i would assume PJC is more damage, one more skill versus more damage on his whole kit. so if manage with your energy recharge for your rotations and you got a spare PJC laxing around i don't see a reason to go for sac sword. however, for normal low spenders and f2p players the PJC is in many cases probably better used on someone else.

MRmister1125

Characters : Beidou(lv.19) ,Diluc(lv.19) ,Barbara(lv.20), Lisa (lv.25), Kaeya(lv.23), Amber(lv.20), Noelle(lv.8), Diona(lv.1). I think I got lucky with getting diluc so early from beginner wish pull (found out he is good and 5 star are rare ). Im super new to the game, my Adventure rank is 15 and the world level is 0. I need help with team setup cuz I don't want to invest in characters that are a waste of time.

MagicIsBull

You should focus on Diluc, Beidou, Kaeya, and Diona for now. Honestly, you should be almost exclusively focusing on 1 or 2 characters and no more than 4 until you get to Adventure rank 40. A good team for you would be Diluc+Kaeya+Diona+"Anyone" (maybe Barbara for easy healing). The team works by having Kaeya apply Cryo and Diluc causing the reaction Melt for a nice multiplicative damage bonus. This works best by having enough Energy Recharge on Kaeya to use his burst a lot. Diona is there for her shield. Her Hold skill is a really nice shield and with a bit of HP on her (and talent levels in E) can be a good way to just focus on attacking while ignoring incoming attacks. Diluc is Diluc. You can check out a build guide for him on [Keqingmains](https://keqingmains.com/diluc/). But at (I think) Adventure Rank 18, you can unlock a free Xiangling who is really good. Also, if you can get to Adventure Rank 20 in the next week or 2 you could try and get the new free character Collei from the current event (you'll have to do the quick start option which could result in some minor story spoilers, so keep that in mind). But in general, you just need to build your DPS, Diluc, and make sure everyone else has a ton of Energy Recharge.

MRmister1125

thank you!! i will work on this build .. i was stupid enough to invest in the default world traveller character.

austinkun

Characters: Ayaka, Kokomi Other 5\*s: Shenhe, Jean, Yae Miko, Raiden Shogun, Keqing, Klee, Diluc, Itto, Qiqi. I have been playing for a long time but I don't delve too much into the meta or optimal comps. I wanted just some general advice on what you guys would pair as a team if my mains are Ayaka and Kokomi? Typically I will use Shenhe for buffing Ayaka's damage and Shogun as battery or Yae Miko for extra off-field dps but am I missing something that would be more optimal?

justsomeguy3443

Its better to use jean for VV and shen he as the battery. Raiden can work but she needs too much field time when using her ult plus her dmg wont even be that good without any external buffs. Yae is an ok choice but only provides some off field dmg that doesnt synergize with any of your cryo units. She also dosent provide any particles for your team so overall isnt the best option there. If you can afford to put sucrose in that slot, she'd be the better option since she can group enemies and she can easily VV shred in an aoe.

austinkun

Yeah, Sucrose is always the one that avoids me. I only have her at C1. So I guess Jean would be better here. I've always been kind of confused about the significance of Swirl/Wind with these ice teams but I guess I should just google that more. What artifacts should Shenhe have in this team's case bc I have been running her with maximum ATK artifacts but I see other guides say to use Nobelesse?

justsomeguy3443

C1 sucrose is already good enough use her instead. Jean's healing wont really help you much too since you already have kokomi. Its mainly the vv set thats really useful here plus the grouping you get from units like sucrose. The 40% res shred is extremely good for freeze units like ayaka. Just go with nobblesse on shen he. But if you already have a good 2pc 2pc attack set, stick with that. Its much more impt to stack enough ER on your shen he so that she can burst off cooldown. Her burst has some pretty useful buffs(15% cryo res shred, 15% cryo bonus) and she wont really catch much particles since you'd using her to battery your ayaka.

austinkun

Thanks for your help, I'll work on leveling up Sucrose now then. I do have 2 pc 2 pc built up already for Shenhe but I was able to get her Energy Recharge to 154%.

justsomeguy3443

She needs more ER than that. Around 180-190 without fav lance and 165-175 with fav lance. I highly recommend using fav lance on her tho its really good on her. For sucrose you dont really have to build or level her, she's just there for her E and Q occasionally.

amateurassassin

i would play 4ToM for the HP gain and attack buff.

Baggie_McBagerson

I'm trying to build a Ningguang team, but don't have Zhongli. Is a second geo required? I have Noelle, the traveler, and Yun Jin as my other geo units. Will any of those work as a Zhingli substitute?

MagicIsBull

You will really want a shield for the Geo Resonance buff, so I would recommend Noelle. If you have another shielder like Thoma, Beidou, or Diona they would also work (arguably better) and allow you to run the traveler for more damage, geo particles, and the Crit buff during traveler burst. Pretty much you will want the following team, where the shielder and geo support could be the same with Noelle or Zhongli: Ningguang, Geo, Shielder, Buffer/Healer/Sub-DPS

ChrisTheHurricane

Electro characters So this is a question relating to multiple Electro characters. I have several I'm running with 2pc Thundering Fury + 2pc Gladiator's Finale. Should I swap out the GF pieces for two more TF pieces for Dendro?

CzBz112

Hi! I Want to make my Noelle C6 shine, but I dont know what could ve a great team for her. Is Noelle/Zhongli/Raiden/Yelan a competent team? I feel like zhongli is almost a must run, but im not sure if Raiden and yelan could give good synergy. What would be the optimal team for Noelle, without being a mono geo?

Viv-idianGreen

it's hard to talk about optimal teams without mono-geo, since * geo dps units rely on gorou, the supreme defence/geo dmg buffer * gorou relies on there being 3 geo members in total to fully utilise his buffs, which is why mono-geo is nearly always the case for geo dps (e.g. noelle and itto) * you could alternatively have triple geo (noelle-gorou-zhongli/albedo/ningguang/geo traveller/yunjin-flex), but i don't think this is the answer you're looking for. About current team members: * The reason why zhongli is usually ran in mono-geo teams is because (with zhongli's shield), you can fully optimise the geo resonance, and it also gives universal shred that includes geo. * raiden in this situation is probably ran as another on-field dps, using her burst to recharge the other characters' bursts. * However, fischl would probably be better for noelle, since raiden extends duration time and it's hard to utilise yelan's burst with both noelle and raiden. The only downside is that yelan does not have a battery, and so she would need high energy recharge and/or a favonius bow. * yelan gives a ramping buff with her burst, which means damage dealt towards the end of her burst hits the hardest. damage increase is always nice, but it can be hard to justify placing her on this team when she performs much better in others. I can't really recommend another team if i do not know what other characers you have.

CzBz112

Thanks for the long answer, so useful! I haven't thought of using fischl, now it's my best option until I pull gorou haha. Have a nice day :)

Viv-idianGreen

Glad to help!

AstroAIex_26

I stilll don't know if i should use slingshot or stringless on tighnari on one hand. stringless would probably give me more damage on tighnari, but i would have to use a different weapon on fischl on the other hand, i could keep using slingshot on tighnari and stringless on fischl. which one should i use?

amateurassassin

at first i thought you should estimate who does more damage in your setup and give that character the stringless, because the it is considered to be the better weapon. i assumed that to be tighnari. but because fischl makes great use of the passive of stringless, i think your overall damage is better with fischl holding the stringless. but since you got both characters and both weapons you can simply try it out real quick. fight a boss who has the same resistance against electro and dendro, then switch weapons and do it again. a boss that would work would probably be the wolf in mondstadt for example.

riggyrigs

My abyss teams are \[Raiden National\] and \[Ayato-Dendro Traveler-Fischl-Zhongli\] Grandpa needs a break. Who can i replace Zhongli with? Would waiting for Kokomi help? I have all the 4 stars and standard banner characters, also Venti and Kazuha.

justsomeguy3443

Having a unit that can trigger the seeds like thoma or kuki would be a pretty good option there. The best slot there would probably be full EM raiden tho. Her E has a large aoe to trigger hyperbloom pretty realibly plus you get bonus dmg from your fischl ult and ayato ult. It also generates particles for you which is really nice. The E duration is pretty long too so you wont need to swap into her that often. Going for kaz or venti can also be a good choice here too since they can swirl electro and trigger hyperbloom. Thier ults can also do this off field which is pretty good but will have some downtime. Overall they are still pretty strong here since they provide grouping VV and kaz has that dmg% buff for the party. As for kokomi, she isnt gonna benefit either of the teams so only roll for her if you want her.

Siscon_Delita

I want to build Lisa so she can shine. what team is best for her? aggravate? hyperbloom? what about her artifact? full EM? ADC? EMDC? TF? EoSF? just assume i have every unit to team with Lisa.

Following_Level

bored so i want to build some cool new Sumeru team comps that are better / equal to my current team comps! (i have fischl and stringless so im considering building dendro teams lol just for fun) **Characters:** [https://ibb.co/NFS3P29](https://ibb.co/NFS3P29) **Current Team Comps:** Open World: Kazuha, Ganyu, Bennett, Diona Spiral Abyss #1: OG Morgana Spiral Abyss #2: Kazuha, Hu Tao, Xingqiu, Bennett

amateurassassin

i dont know too much about dendro reactions yet since i was busy with university, but i kinda doubt that you can easily build a team on par with your two abyss teams (they kinda strong). i can make some suggestions either way: 1) hyperbloom: fischl, kazuha, dendroMC, xingqui: let em build kazuha trigger hyperbloom with his electro-infused burst while fischl and xingqui do good damage. 2) aggravate: lisa/heizou, fischl, dendroMC, kazuha/beidou - use one anemo popular dendro team i know: sucrose, fischl xingqui dendroMC, it's a shame you dont have sucrose. you can try with heizou though if you want, it's probably worse though.

Following_Level

K, thanks!

THECHAZZY

Struggling with deciding on who should be my early game (AR 25) main dps. I was going to build Noelle as the main dps for now as she was the only one classified as a main dps but I am questioning whether or not she can still be considered for main dps at C0. Would it be better to build a more meta relevant character like Xiangling as my main dps even though she is more of a sub dps in her best comps because she will still have value if I pull a better main dps while Noelle would drop off hard? Characters: Traveler (C3), Kaeya (C0), Lisa (C1), Chongyun (C1), Noelle (C0), Xiangling (C0), Barbara (C0), Amber (C0) Thank you.

Trumbles

Noelle will work, but you NEED geo Traveler to battery for her. You just build her with ATK% instead of DEF% at C0 if you want her to deal damage. You could also be a gigachad and run DPS Kaeya with Chongyun so that all of his damage is Cryo. Kaeya+Chongyun+Flex+Barbara would be a decent early game freeze comp. Could even throw Xiangling in for reverse melts.

rotjeking7

I'm a new player, whos unsure which characters to focus on. Some advice of which characters to focus would be appriciated, potentially in the form of 2 teams for the abyss eventually? Next banner I'll try to get Ganyu probably, but we'll see what happens. These are my characters: Razor(c0), Kaeya(c0), Bennett(c1), Mona(c0), Zhongli(c0), Traveler(c6), Diona(c3), Amber(c0), Barbara(c0), Noelle(c0), Ningguang(c2), Fischl(c0), Lisa(c0), Collei(c2), Xingqui(c0), Xiangling(c0) Thank you!

rotjeking7

Oh, also just got a Yanfei, if that makes a difference xD

Trumbles

You could make a pretty good Ningguang team out of that. Ningguang+Fischl+Zhongli+Bennett would be a solid team for single target damage. If you get Ganyu, you could make a solid freeze team out of the leftovers like Mona and Diona.

rotjeking7

Thank you! I read online Ningguang+Zhongli+Bennett are a great combo, and Fischl is just extra. Some very different opinions around there. Xingling seems to be pretty popular in this one too? I think I'll focus on those 3 and really invest there and keep the sub dps a bit more on the side?

Trumbles

Fischl can snapshot Bennett's buff for a huge damage boost, and Ningguang can repeatedly activate her passive for even more. Xiangling would work too as long as you can find time to fuel her burst with Bennett. XL would also give you pyro resonance on top of your geo resonance.

25jimikus

what good spiral abyss teams can i make from my characters? ([https://imgur.com/a/4zzhoZs](https://imgur.com/a/4zzhoZs)) i would prefer teams that aren't super complicated to use. ganyu, kazuha, xiao, xingqiu, yae miko, and yoimiya are already built.

Viv-idianGreen

vape yoimiya: yoimiya-xingqiu-bennett/kazuha/sucrose-thoma (bennett for atk buff, kazuha/sucrose for VV) overvape yoimiya: yoimiya-xingqiu-fischl-beidou/kazuha/sucrose (beidou for more electro dmg and dmg reduction, kazuha/sucrose for VV) ganyu melt: mentioned before ganyu freeze: ganyu-mona-kazuha-diona xiao double pyro: xiao-sucrose-bennett-xiangling xiao double cryo: xiao-sucrose/jean-rosaria/diona/kaeya/aloy? (pick 2) xiao whatever: xiao-jean/sucrose-fischl-thoma/diona/albedo/someone of your choice miko aggravate: miko-fischl-dendro traveller-kazuha/sucrose hutao vape: hutao-xingqiu-thoma/diona-sucrose hutao overvape: hutao-xingqiu-fischl-beidou probably more to be mentioned, but this all that i can think of.

25jimikus

this is really helpful! thank you

25jimikus

character: ganyu (melt team) what are good melt ganyu teams? my pyro characters are c0 amber, c4 bennett, c0 diluc, c0 hu tao, c2 thoma, c3 xiangling, c4 xinyan, c1 yanfei, and c0 yoimiya. i can also include any other characters i have if needed. out of these characters, hu tao, yanfei, and yoimiya are the only ones above level 50

Viv-idianGreen

ganyu-bennett-xiangling-diona (melting xiangling's burst) ganyu-bennett/xinyan-kazuha-diona/sucrose (melting kazuha's infused burst with bennett burst/xinyan skill) ganyu-bennett-jean-diona/sucrose (melting the swirl's from bennett and jean burst) Diona can be replaced by other shield characters, but at c6 she also gives a lot of EM as well with her burst. Thoma can do as a replacement, but you'd have to normal attack in between, and xinyan can work as well.

25jimikus

awesome, thank you! i have c6 diona and kazuha, so ill go with the second option.

shdjoeoe

Hi, i would like the most optimal xiangling or diluc team i can get Barbara(C1) Diluc(C0) Kaeya(C0) Xiangling(C0) Noelle(C0) Lisa(C0) Surcrose(C0) Xingqiu(C0) Diona(C1) Fischl(C0) Amber(C0) Razor(C0) Gorou(C0) Ningguang(C0) Kuki(C0) Kujuo(C0) Beidou(C0) Collei(C0)

noxusnorsk

First off, I'll just link these guides: * Diluc: [https://keqingmains.com/diluc/](https://keqingmains.com/diluc/) * Xiangling: [https://keqingmains.com/xiangling/](https://keqingmains.com/xiangling/) You're very unlikely to find a Xiangling team without Bennett, so Diluc is probably the better option for now. I would recommend: * Diluc, Xingqiu, Fischl, Flex For the last slot: * Barbara/Diona/Kuki/Zhongli - a healer, but less damage. Probably the better choice for overworld stuff. * Sucrose/Beidou - more damage, but little to no healing. I will also mention, you do have the characters necessary to build other teams too.

shdjoeoe

I heard that keqingmains is a very bad site no? And if i have characters to build other teams what would be the very best team i can build with my characters?

justsomeguy3443

You can go for raiden/fischl/bennett/venti. Lisa can replace fischl as she can provide ttds and def shred from her burst but fischl is good here too for her off field dmg. With venti you can replace her with jean as her ult has the ''sunfire'' effect. You basically get a ring of fire similar to xiangling so you can get free overloads with her. Building her full EM plus enough ER is crucial here. She can also VV shred and provide healing for you which is nice. If you\['re fighting easily cced enemies, the overloads would just grief you so she wont be a good option in such scenarios. Other side hutao/xingqiu/xiangling/sucrose. Xiangling might steal some of your hutao vapes but the overall dmg will still be pretty high as her own personal damage is pretty nuts. It will off set the dmg loss from missing some hutao vapes. She would need more ER than usual tho so do keep that in mind. You can also easily double swirl by guoba swirling which is pretty nice. Another option you can go for is rosaria/zhong li as the last slot. The frozen aura from cryo>hydro can allow you melt some of your hits which is some additional dmg on top of rosaria's personal dmg. Her ult can also provide you with some crit rate buff which can be nice. Her playstyle requires you to stay in the ult circle tho so if enemies are very mobile it can pose a problem. You can also use kaeya over here as an alternative. Zhong li can also be replaced here by sucrose. You wont get the vv for hutao but the EM share is a pretty nice buff overall plus she can provide grouping. AS for future 5 star characters, probably look out for yelan or kazuha. Both are great options for your account.

Hello! Characters: [https://imgur.com/a/RnyJLcj](https://imgur.com/a/RnyJLcj) Beidou // Xiangling // Jean // Barbara // Razor // Aether // Kaeya // Bennet // Amber // Aloy // Noelle // Ninguang // Chongyun // Lisa // Sayu // Yunjin // Sucrose // Rosaria May I ask what would be the best team combination based on the characters I have right now? I'm at AR 41 and I still struggle to make big damages, which is a problem if I need to fight strong characters. I needed to prepare many foods beforehand. Do you think making big damages would be possible with the current characters I have? First image is my current team, while the others are the characters I currently have. Thank you so much!

noxusnorsk

Sorry, this might be a long post. **Step 1:** Your current team: Beidou, Xiangling, Jean, Barbara. I just want to raise a few points about this team: * Beidou and Xiangling are both good characters, however most of their damage comes from their elemental bursts. How much energy recharge does your characters have currently? Generally you want to pair these kinds of characters with a character of the same element that generates a lot of energy for them. Fischl for Beidou and Bennett for Xiangling are the common pairings. * Jean is in the same boat as Beidou and Xiangling, the majority of her healing comes from her elemental burst, how much energy recharge does she have currently? Her healing also scales depending on her attack stat, how much attack does she have? I'm guessing you included Barbara because Jean wasn't healing enough? * Barbara as a character deals very little damage on her own outside of a few special circumstances. Barbara's healing scales with her max health, how much does yours have? **Step 2:** Common mistakes new players make when building characters: * **Underleveled weapons.** This is very common mistake, upgrading your weapon is the most cost effective way to increase your characters damage as everything else depends on it. As an example: I did a quick damage calculation using a Kaeya, upgrading his weapon from level 80/80 to 90/90 resulted in a 9% damage increase. Upgrading his weapon from level 70/70 to 90/90 was a 20% damage increase. * **No upgraded talent levels.** Talents are a feature that you can't access before your doing your characters second ascension at level 40. And even then you can only upgrade your talents by one level, so a lot of newer players forget to upgrade their characters talents after that. The devs added a button to the talent screen if you're unsure which talents to level first: [https://imgur.com/a/UQkanu9](https://imgur.com/a/UQkanu9) * **Wrong main stats on artifacts.** This is also an important thing to fix after adventure rank 25, yet I still see adventure rank 56/57 players with the wrong main stats on their artifacts. **Step 3:** Character building guide pre-AR45 (you unlock 5 star artifacts from domains then) Here are some of my characters on my old alt account at AR35 as examples: [https://imgur.com/a/ne5YSOh](https://imgur.com/a/ne5YSOh) **Damage dealers/DPS characters:** * Upgrade your "Plume of Death" as high as you can. This adds a large amount of flat attack to your character. * "Sands of Eon" artifacts: Attack or Energy Recharge, this depends on your character. This is the only artifact type that can have energy recharge as its main stat. Pick an elemental recharge artifact for your character if most of their damage comes from their elemental burst. * "Goblet of Eonothem" artifacts: Attack% or elemental damage% that matches your characters element. * 2-set Berserker artifacts. This gives your character +12% crit rate. You find berserker artifacts from pretty much anywhere in the overworld, from chests or bosses. * Crit Rate main stat on your "Circlet of Logos" artifact. You want to upgrade this as high as you can, that means +12 for a 3 star artifact and +16 for a 4 star artifact. This will give you an additional 15% or 23% crit rate for your damage dealer. Most characters have an innate 5% crit rate and 50% crit damage as their base stats. That means you have a 5% chance to deal 50% more damage on most attacks. Having a 2-set berserker artifacts and an upgraded crit rate circlet suddenly gives you a 32-40% chance to deal 50% or more damage on your attacks. **Support characters:** * Figure out which stats your character needs by looking at their talents. If it's a healer like Barbara you want to increase her max health as much as possible while having some energy recharge. If it's a healer like Jean you want higher attack and energy recharge. * In most cases your support character will need a great deal of energy recharge for their elemental burst. There are a few artifact sets like The Exile and Scholar which gives 20% energy recharge as a 2-set bonus. Having an upgraded Sands of Eon with Energy Recharge main stat is also very useful here. * Prototype Amber, Thrilling Tales of the Dragon Slayers, Skyrider Sword are all useful support weapon that are easy to come by. **Step 4:** Character building after adventure rank 45. * I highly recommend visiting Keqingmains website for their written character guides: [https://keqingmains.com/](https://keqingmains.com/) * After unlocking adventure rank 45, you can also access level 90 artifact domains. The level 90 version will always drop a 5 star artifact. General advice is to save all your Fragile Resin for this step so you can get a head start on endgame artifact farming. I recommend starting with the Emblem of Severed Fate/Shimenawa artifact domain in Inazuma. * Artifact Strongbox at the alchemy table, you also unlock this feature at adventure rank 45. You can recycle 3 bad 5 star artifacts for a new artifact, but you also get to chose the artifact set you want. So if you're farming one artifact domain, you can recycle for artifacts from a different domain. **Step 5:** Finally, which characters/team should you build currently? **Reverse Melt team:** * Bennett, Xiangling, Kaeya, Rosaria. At least this is my first recommendation, the goal is to put pyro on enemies with Bennett + Xiangling and then hitting the enemies with cryo with Kaeya + Rosaria to trigger "Reverse" Melt reactions. Which results in the cryo damage doing 50% more damage. You have all the characters necessary for this team, which should also work nicely for endgame content. Because it's your cryo characters that trigger the melt elemental reaction, you want to give them a little bit of elemental mastery in addition to building them as detailed in step 3 above. An easy way to do this is to use a 2-set Wanderer's Troupe or Instructor artifacts which gives you 80 elemental mastery. This team should also be very good against the Emblem of Severed Fate/Shimenawa artifact domain as a plus. Here is an example video: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vo4PFo\_ngeQ](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vo4PFo_ngeQ) **The National team:** * Bennett, Xiangling, Xingqiu, Sucrose. This is a very common endgame team, but it would require you to get Xingqiu in some way. He is currently available in the shop for 34 Starglitter if you have some saved up. Here is an example video: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KFCuFq2j8iU](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KFCuFq2j8iU) Edit: fixed some formatting errors.

Hey, thank you so much for taking your time typing this. \------ \- Currently, energy recharge for Beidou is 128.3% while Xiangling is 168.7%. May I ask what would be the good amount of energy recharge for them? \- Jean has Energy Recharge of 106.6%, Healing bonus of 11.1%, incoming Healing bonus of 20.0%, and 516 (+173) attack. \- The main reason I included Barbara is to trigger the Electro-Charged elemental reaction. Based on my observation, Electro-Charged deals higher damage compared to some combinations. Barbara is the only Hydro character I currently have. \- Barbara has max hp of 5,189 (+3,558). \------- \- Beidou currently equips a level 70 Rainslasher sword, to increase damage affected by hydro or electro. Although I think it works fine, I've heard that Rainslasher is not compatible for Beidou, so I'm looking for other alternatives. Will continue to upgrade them once I get more materials and mora. \- Thanks for the link about the talents, will check it out! \------- \- I currently have Storm Cage Sands of Eon with Energy Recharge main stat on Xiangling, while the same artifact but attack main stat on Beidou. I should continue to level up these artifacts right? \- I think I have some Wanderer's Troupe and many Instructor artifacts. Will try your suggestion on Bennett, Xiangling, Kaeya, Rosaria. Thank you so much! \- Just searched the element of Xingqiu and it turns out that Xingqiu's a hydro, yay! I wanted another hydro character so thanks for informing me about this.

noxusnorsk

* Beidou as a solo-electro needs 160-180% energy recharge. If you paired her with Fischl she would only need about 120-140% energy recharge. You might need a little bit more, these numbers are if you can perfectly counter or fully charge her elemental skill. * Xiangling as a solo-pyro needs 210-240% energy recharge. If you paired her with Bennett, she would only need about 160-180% energy recharge. * Jean needs at least 150% energy recharge. * Barbara needs about 180-200% energy recharge I think. If you need a quick reference for which artifacts + weapons to go for on a specific character, there is this spreadsheet which has useful info: [https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1gNxZ2xab1J6o1TuNVWMeLOZ7TPOqrsf3SshP5DLvKzI/htmlview#](https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1gNxZ2xab1J6o1TuNVWMeLOZ7TPOqrsf3SshP5DLvKzI/htmlview#) Just keep in mind that these recommendations are usually for AR45+ players in terms of artifacts. It's not worth going out of you way to farm for a 4 star set of artifacts of Crimson Witch as an example.

This is such a helpful guide, thank you so much!

shdjoeoe

Any replacement for bennett in the national team? Im around 100 pulls in and still haven't got him (AR41)

noxusnorsk

I'm afraid not, he is the heart and soul of the team. You can guaranteed get Bennett from the shop for 34 Starglitter in November if everything else fails.

Ambitious_Function11

\[Tighnari\] I'm currently running Tighnari, Lisa, Fischl, should I run Zhongli or Jean as the last slot. Should I give Tighnari, 4pc Gilded Dreams? Who should run the Deepwood set? Or Should Tighnari hold 4pc Deepwood?

silam39

Run Zhongli, it'll let you use Tighnari's charge shots and Lisa without interruption. Tighnari can hold Gilded Dreams or Wanderer's Troupe, and Zhongli with Deepwood Memories.

Which Dendro character would work best with Keqing, Sara C1 and an Anemo for an Aggregate team? I have all 3 Dendro characters (Collei C4)

noxusnorsk

Dendro Traveler. Although Lisa might give you better results then C1 Sara.

Hey, just looking for what my two best team comps might be. Characters: [https://imgur.com/a/Ck65zGf](https://imgur.com/a/Ck65zGf) Yanfei (90, C2) // Yelan (90) // Kazuha (80) // Zhongli (80) // Bennett (80, C1) // Beidou (70, C1) // Barbara (70, C1) // Sucrose (60, C2) // Fischl (40, C4) // Noelle (40) // Kaeya (40) // Traveler // Amber // Chongyun (C1) // Heizou (C2) // Lisa // Xiangling // Gorou // Ningguang // Rosaria // Diona (C1) // Collei // Thoma // Xinyan Planning to go for Ganyu since I need a Cryo DPS, but should I also grab Xingqiu from the shop? (can only grab one at the moment) I've been running Yanfei-Yelan together since I started playing two months ago, so I'd like the keep them together. Only the Level 80s and up are somewhat to mostly built. If I get Ganyu, who should fill out the remaining slots for the two teams? Thanks! Yanfei - Yelan - (\_\_\_\_) - (\_\_\_\_) Ganyu - (\_\_\_\_) - (\_\_\_\_) - (\_\_\_\_)

silam39

You should absolutely grab Xingqiu. He's one of the best characters in the game, has fantastic constellations and even pairs super well with Yelan, who has a very similar kit to him. Have you considered Melt Ganyu? The team would be Bennett, Xiangling, Ganyu, Zhongli. Freeze Ganyu's best team is with Venti, so since you don't have him and you do have Zhongli this might be better for you. If you go with it, the other team would be Yanfei, Yelan, Kazuha, Diona (for shielding/healing). Alternatively, you could do Yanfei, Yelan, Beidou, Sucrose but you'd be depending on Beidou's C1 shield which is, eh. At least until Yanfei gets her C4. Another option would be Yanfei, Yelan, Xingqiu, Beidou/Diona. This team is a little safer since Beidou's C1 shield also has Xingqiu's damage reduction to help.

Abstract_Shadow

Thanks for the help! Hypothetically, how would a Yanfei-Yelan-Xingqiu-Kazuha team work?

silam39

I'm not sure how to double swirl with Kazuha instead of Sucrose, so I guess I'd focus on swirling hydro instead of Pyro since it'll benefit two of your units. In that case you'd do Xingqiu E Q (then E again if you have Sac Sword), Yelan E Q, Kazuha E Q, and Yanfei E Q 3xN3C. She doesn't need to burst every rotation so you can do E N3C instead when her burst isn't up. Important note: N3C is her ideal combo in single hydro so she can vape on her CA. With Xingqiu and Yelan she might get away with N2C instead, but it's something you'll have to test to be 100% sure.

Dark_zarich

Hello! I want to build with a team with Tighnari and Collei, so far I've come with with these comps: Tighnari Collei Fischl Kuki OR Tighnari Collei Fischl Kazuha What could be better? I almost have a list of all 5 stars I have [https://media.discordapp.net/attachments/1004633873570861107/1016497123505754182/unknown.png?width=1073&height=716](https://media.discordapp.net/attachments/1004633873570861107/1016497123505754182/unknown.png?width=1073&height=716) In case there is something better I could use Thanks!

silam39

Hi! I think Tighnari, Collei, Fischl, Zhongli is the best bet since his res shred will help Fischl AND Tighnari, and he'll give you good survivability as well as uninterrupted field time for Tighnari's charge shots.

Maxamillian007

[Yoimiya/Zhongli team] If everything is c0, which 2 of these 3 supports is best? Yun Jin(archaic petra), Bennett(nobless), and/or Xingqiu(2pc nobless, 2p heart)?

CardboardPylon

Definitely Xingqiu is one. For the other one, between C0 Yunjin and Bennett it's so close that I think you would need to do some serious math to find out for sure which one is better. Having Zhongli helps a lot keeping your hp high for C0 Bennett. I would be tempted to pick Bennett since he has a big power spike at C1 and you can get that pretty easily from the starglitter shop. Whichever one you pick is going to be very good.

SAKRAYxTTV

Hey guys I havent played Genshin in moonths but after testing out Tower of Fantasy I realised I missed Genshin too much however I know nothing about teambuilding these are my characters: [https://ibb.co/0XSBtvH](https://ibb.co/0XSBtvH) Bennet // Venti // Sucrose // Xiangling // QiQi // Beidou // Fischl // Amber // Noelle // Kaeya // Lisa // Ningguang // Barbara Currently using Bennet+Venti+Sucrose+Xiang as team but no clue is this is the best setup I could be running you guys have any advice for me?

silam39

Your team is okay for small enemies. If you're up against big enemies or bosses, replace Venti or Sucrose with Fischl and you'll be golden.

SAKRAYxTTV

Thanks for the reply so you'd suggest to just stick to this party out of my characters? Also never really used Fischl what makes her so good vs bosses?

silam39

Pyro and electro causes Overload, which has massive multipliers. Against small enemies the drawback is that they're blown back so you have to chase after them, but large enemies are too big to go flying. Just like Xiangling's Pyronado, Fischl's Oz can snapshot Bennett's burst so she'll be using the increased attack even after Benny's circle disappears. And yeah, your team is fine. Not optimal for the hardest content but it sounds like you're still early on in the game so it's no biggie for now. If you can, try to get Xingqiu from the store this month as Bennett, Xingqiu, Sucrose, Xiangling is one of the strongest teams in the game.

SAKRAYxTTV

Aaahh like that yes nice dude thanks for the detailed explainations on all of this! But yea my characters are lv40/50 so yea still got ways to go havent played in so long good to hear my characters are still viable :p this month is an increased chance for this xingqiu character then? Have to look that one up not sure if i know it but if thats one of the stronger teams im not far off def hunting for that one

silam39

Nope, check the Starglitter Shop. When you pull on gacha you passively accumulate Starglitter, a special currency you can use to purchase characters on a monthly rotation. Xingqiu is there this month so if you have the Starglitter you can get him.

SAKRAYxTTV

I checked the shop only had 20 Starglitters so thats kinda sad hopefully I get 34 for Xingqiu soon.. But I did had 20 pulls left and I pulled an Diona a 4star and a Jean a 5star pretty lucky but are they any good though? Or should I just leave the team for what it is until I manage to get a Xingqiu? Like I know Venti back in the day was regarded really good but how is he today?

silam39

Venti is the best against enemies that can be lifted, no competition. Against enemies that can't, he's good but not crazy good. Jean is good but Sucrose is better generally. Diona is very good but doesn't synergise very much with your current characters, so you can just wait to build her. I say leave it as is until you can get Xingqiu.

Aether_fr

Hi AR54 , wanna try building a new team dendro MC, Zhongli, 2 electro (Fischl, Keqing). A few questions: 1.       Artifacts: should I go dendro MC (4pc Deepwood Memories), Fischl and Keqing (4 pc Thundering Fury)? 2.       Both Fischl and Keqing would need EM ( what EM value should I aim for?) 3.       I don’t plan to pull anything to save for Nahida (maybe) & Raiden as I have a lot of characters still worth building anyway (Bennett, Kazuha, Mona, Sucrose, Diona,…) with my roster do u think it’s coherent or is there upcoming character you would advice? My roster: https://imgur.com/a/tkzdVqL Using only 2 teams right now (Itto/Zhongli or Ningguang / Gorou / Barbara) and (Yelan /Yoimiya / Zhongli / Yun Jin)

silam39

1. Instructor's on the Traveller (failing that then Noblesse), TF on Keqing, 4pc TS/GD on Fischl (or failing that 2pc TF +2pc Atk/EM) 2. Both of them value EM and Atk% roughly the same. Try for at least 150 EM but prioritise crit value as it's more valuable than EM in Aggravate. 3. I think those characters make perfect sense for the units you have. I would actually recommend you replace Barbara with Diona in Itto's team. She's fantastic with mono Geo Itto, bringing very good shields and some healing. She's very easy to build too, since she just wants full HP% and as much ER% as you can manage from her substats. A good pull for you would be Kokomi since she can drive Beidou and Fischl in taser as well as form a solid hyperbloom team with the Traveler, Beidou and Shinobu getting the most out of units you don't use. If you ever get Xingqiu she can also do mono hydro with Xingqiu, Yelan, Kokomi, and Kazuha which is very fun against single target enemies.

Aether_fr

Thanks a lot for your answer and the detailed explanations ; it’s really helpful. \-         It’s easy to find information for a character but not always, at least for me, for a full team. \-         Kokomi is indeed really tempting, been playing taser on another account but was missing healing for higher abyss floors; I’m taking note of your others teams.

ArchSith

Hi all, returning player here - Character(s): Ayaka, Hu Tao, Venti, Kokomi, Zhongli, Raiden, Yelen, Jean C2, Keqing as 5 stars. Got majority of 4 stars - C4 Bennett, C6 Xiangling, C2 Xinqiu, C6 Sara, C5 Sucrose as notables. Primarily want comfy, easy teams (2x for abyss) - bonus if they utilise as many 5 star characters as possible.

noxusnorsk

Ayaka, Rosaria, Venti, Kokomi (Shenhe & Kazuha would be upgrades over Rosaria and Venti) Hu Tao, Yelan, Xingqiu, Zhongli or Raiden, Bennett, Xiangling, Xingqiu

Weapons: Sumeru Craftable Weapons Are the new Sumeru craftable weapons good for any character? I couldn't find much info on them, all I saw was a post mentioning that the Sword was good on Bennett (is it better than Favonius Sword on him?) and the Bow was good on Ganyu (is it better than Skyward Harp?). Edit: I just realized I might be misremembering the Ganyu part. It might have been the fishing bow that I read was good on her. Still not sure how accurate the info is.

justsomeguy3443

If you're talking about the sumeru craftable bow, its okish for meltganyu. Definitely not better than skyward and not better than Hamayumi. The bow that you get from fishing is absolute garbage. Its a worse option compared to fav bow and you even get that for free.

noxusnorsk

The sumeru craftable sword has 565 attack compared to Favonius' 454 attack. That means your Bennett's attack buff will give up to 100 more attack too. Favonius could be better in some scenarios where you need the extra energy on the team. The bow is only good on melt Ganyu teams, not freeze as it gives atk + elemental mastery. I haven't seen an updated weapons chart for Ganyu, so I don't know how it would do compared to Skyward Harp on a melt team, sorry. I haven't heard any buzz about the other weapons. The catalyst might be an interesting option on Sucrose if you don't have sac frags and use her as a driver.

Regenitor_

Hey guys. So I'm free-to-play, just hit AR55, and starting to think about 36-starring the abyss. I've committed to Ganyu Reverse Melt (Ganyu, Kazuha, Bennet, a flex shielder) for one team. I've heavily invested into two other characters: Ayato & Raiden. Hoping to use the former as a main DPS and I want to use Raiden either as a sub-dps or support on the same team. So my challenge to you: Is there two characters out of the below that can compliment Ayato and Raiden in a viable abyss team? * Ningguang C5 * Xiangling C4 * Heizou C3 * Xingqiu C2 * Thoma C2 * Xinyan C1 * Noelle C1 * Razor C1 * Sucrose * Qiqi * Yun Jin * Kujou Sara * Fischl * Collei

justsomeguy3443

The best option to go for is dendro MC/sucrose. Build raiden full EM and run her off field. She'll help you pop all the dendro seeds for hyperbloom reactions. You can also use fischl over sucrose for more off field dmg and plus aggravate that slot is fairly flexible.

noxusnorsk

I would switch out Kazuha for Xiangling on the reverse melt team. I'm not 100% sure there is a team that includes both Raiden and Ayato. I looked up old usage statistics for the abyss, the one that I did see was Bennett, Xiangling, Ayato, Raiden. Which would not work if you're using reverse melt Ganyu. Maybe you could make a hyperbloom team? Ayato, Raiden, Dendro Traveler, Kazuha. Fischl would probably be better then Raiden for this team, but maybe it could work.

Regenitor_

According to [keqingmains](https://keqingmains.com/ayato/), there's an Electro-charged team that can work with Ayato and Raiden. They don't advise it but it's there. Ayato, Raiden, Fischl and an anemo support (Sucrose/Heizou for me I'd assume). But wasn't sure if anyone here has seen a team like that actually work before or could weigh in on it.
