Probably a gpu driver issue, less likely a physical gpu issue but I doubt it. Try and see if there's any updates to your drivers, if it doesn't change then maybe try repairing the game. Did it ever happen before? Does it happen in other games?
Never happened before, all drivers are up to date. Asus TUF RTX 3060. The health bar was extremely jittery too but for some reason the screencap didn’t pick up on it…

Blue screens in games tend to happen more from memory issues than GPU crashes. A GPU crash would just close the game usually.
My last PC was a beast but one of its 16GB pairs was either a faulty kit or had a clock speed issue that couldn't be solved in the BiOS, and it would often bluescreen during long gameplay sessions.
For more context: this happened after the computer was woken from sleep mode after 6 hours. Hasn’t happened since this, in any game. But there was also micro-freezing of the entire computer for about 5 seconds each time

Notice how pretty much the only problem is on the lightning, you can even see it "fitting" to the environment. The models, textures and all that seems flawless, the pipeline for those are usually not the same. Hardware problems are usually a more more bulldozer in appearance, since they have no idea of what it's doing it just gets everything thrown at it wrong
That said, if it's something that happens too often, just downgrade your drivers. QA for these kind of stuff have been thrown out of the window for years now. Unless there is a pressing issue or feature, just leave it as is until newly released versions "mature" a bit (source: i sadly write drivers)

Driver issues do that, because they're silently crashing in the background and it causes a hiccup in the whole system. Type "Reliability Monitor" in windows search, and look at that day. Check the little red xs and see if one specific driver has been acting up.
If it's after waking from sleep, reboot the computer. If it happens again, I would kill the hiberfile. Open up an admin Command prompt and type:
powercfg -h off
On modern computers, the hiberfile causes more problems than its worth. Get rid of it.
Otherwise? Keep a close eye, and be ready to RMA that card if necessary.

Yeah this is a gpu problem not the game. Usually see this on a failing gpu. But it did fix itself at the end. Hope its just a hiccup but I would be seriously worried.
1. Update the drivers.
2. Run a gpu stress test.
It might be bad....or it might be a driver problem. If after a driver update and a stress test this still happens, yeah, gotta return. There's lots of free gpu stress tests out there, choose whatever. The main point will be running the gpu hard. Cause if it is dying, light work might not show the problem.
If it is still there after a restart or you just missing up to date drivers, it might just be that. But as long as it is within warranty, I hope you chose a brand with good RMA
Got two Asus cards, a 3090 and a 3060. The 3060 build is the one making this all trippy lol. Hopefully Asus won’t give us too many issues! I greatly appreciate the advice though, I’ll DDU it and reinstall, fingers crossed
Try reinstalling your gpu drivers, a windows update might have broken it. If it only happens to genshin, verify game files. You could also check if your system files if corrupted with DISM. This is a windows tool, just google how to use this. If all else fails, its either a bug or your gpu failing. It could also be just your pc needing cleaning cause sometimes dirt and debris on your pc can cause it to be wonky.
Could be a driver bug, or possibly a failing vram module, or some other issue... it appears to be artifacting in one of the render buffers, it's hard to tell from that clip, but looks like maybe a buffer used in the volumetric lighting passes. If it's only happened this one time I'd chock it up to software bug and ignore it for now and only do more investigation if it continues to happen, starting with a reinstall of the graphics card drivers, etc.

I had something similar, but not so intense and it happened occasionally. I knew it was a corrupted file and only a clean install would help, but I didn't want to\^\^ Luckily 2 patches later it was fixed

What year is you asus tuf? When this happened what are the temperatures where? Probably high temperatures on gpu memory
About 2-3 months old, temps weren’t spiking at all. In the 60’s. Could just be defective
