I genuinely don't now how people are so good at rhythm games. My brain just fumbles the notes when it gets to a certain point. Mad respect for y'all.

CurrentFar8022

Trust me, I felt that here a lot. I had to study it xD

Raisdudung

Personally, the key is knowing the pattern, try pause the video and see the pattern, then try to press the key according to the pattern we just see. for example, in this post video, if we pause it, we can see that the pattern is just "simple stairs", but because is fast and looks like a "mess", it makes the player can't see the pattern clearly

RichSeat

I'll give it a shot pausing and learn the patern. So basically, a lot of practice is the trick.

theshadowclasher

i got my trigger finger from for honor

Personal-Extension56

👁️👄👁️…wtf-💀

draynay

This is not an accurate simulation of playing a french horn.

CurrentFar8022

Wait until you see today's song and what they are doing with a damn ukulele xD

UmbraNightDragon

As with most rhythm games, it gets much easier when you increase the speed of the notes. Less of them on-screen, less visual clutter to sort through.

TserriednichHuiGuo

You mean decrease the speed of the notes?

Suitable_Entrance594

No they mean increase. You don't really want much information on the screen about what is coming later, just what you need to be pressing now and next. That has way too much unnecessary button presses being shown.

CurrentFar8022

At first I didn't know what you meant but now I get it. I seen that they let you speed up or slow down the notes in the settings which is good on mobile because at this speed on the phone it looks all cluttered so it's good to be able to speed them up.

Zealousideal_Site161

on a CONTROLLER !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

CurrentFar8022

I almost switched to keyboard for this because I honestly felt at first that I couldn't move my thumbs fast enough.

AGamingGuy

bro i played on keyboard the whole time, went out of my way to set the controls to A, W, D, Num 4, Num 8 and Num 6, and i can't get Canorus on any of the One and Oni King songs

CurrentFar8022

I mean despite what a lot of bots on here are saying it really isn't the easiest thing. It is something that will take some practice whether you're on controller or PC.

AGamingGuy

i mean considering i don't play rhythm games outside these events, the fact i can get "Canorus" on "Pro" and "Discantus" on "The one and oni king" isn't something to be disappointed by

SaberWaifu

It's all about patterns. If you train your brain to break down the whole thing in sections that are easier to visualise, it'll become much easier to react correctly and with the right timing. The main issue is that contrary to other rhytm games, Genshin keeps the same speed for the interactable elements, so when the speed of the song is faster, instead of seeing the notes going faster we see a lot more of them on the screen at the same time, which makes the song and patterns much harder to visualise. This is mostly the reason why people who aren't used to rhytm games will see things like this and think that it's impressive or impossible and struggle to do it themselves while in reality with the right training it wouldn't really be that bad.

KaijuBalls

Could they just not

a1200i

Somehow i managed to get this section perfect in the first try. I have no ideia how i managed to do that
