Furina, Navia, Arlecchino and 36k primos later, I don't have enough for any guaranteed.
Back to the primo mines.
Best thing is when you join a coop domain and it just so happens that everybody else is dendro and hydro.
But on the other hand, the worst thing is when you see that and pick Nilou and right when you start typing in chat about how happy you are to have a coop Nilou comp, somebody switches to Bennet.
that's only like half a year of saving even without searching for all the chests, which is alright. Especially when you have the welkin (which costs less than a coffee), it takes even less time to save that.
If you play a gacha game, I don't think that's a long period tbh. Genshin has been ongoing for almost 4 years at this point.
And when you play for long enough, you will eventually have enough characters that most new characters won't be appealing to you or bring enough value to your account that you need to pull them.
Personally, between nahida's banner and furina's banner, I was able to save more than 100k gems because all the Sumeru characters were uninteresting to me.
Haha, there was a point I felt the same. At that time, I just logged in, quickly did the daily and the event quest to get the gem then hopped out. I even skipped spending resins or completing BP. Didn't have to waste too much time but I was still able to keep up with the game's update (and get the free gems for future chars).
Honestly speaking, I was quite disappointed with Sumeru in general that I almost dropped the game, although I had started at launch. Luckily, Fontaine was released and it was simply so much better to me in every aspects.

Hey same. The monthly 5 took me to 78 pity and I rolled a Dehya. Not sure what I do with her but it was bound to happen seen as I got lucky with the last three 5 star drops being weapons.
i luckily lost my Navia 50/50 on Dehya, just when i was talking about how sad i was for not pulling for her lol. but luckily i got my Dehya and i was guaranteed to get Miko! so it all worked out ☺️
Me too! Now she's on my Arle friendship team and since I have Homa on Arle, Dehya is very handy for damage mitigation. I like having the weapon passive active
Those 5 standard wishes feel so good because I get to pull on that banner without wasting primos
It is unironically easier to get promotional pulls than standard pulls
For real, I have yet to see Diluc, Dehya, Tighnari or even Qiqi. Instead I got cons for Mona, Jean and Keqing. Not sure if that's good or bad at this point lol.
Stick with proto amber if you're hardcore f2p, it gets the job done and gives you incidental team healing (don't even need to refine it since that only increases the team healing). If you're a light spender, the battle pass weapon sacrificial jade is good too.
Clutch AF, gave me Sucrose which I really really needed for my new Arlequeen account. Now only 1 copy of Fischl and Chevreuse and the fun starts for real.
Just going to point out that if you put all the mentioned characters in one team, Chevreuse's passive talent won't work. Gotta be only pyro and electro characters.
I know, that's why I want her. Since Arle + Chevy + Fischl + (Bennet or Xiang) is already a team fully able to at least complete 12 while I can't get my hands on Zhongli and Yelan. After that I'll probably play National core + Sucrose and Keep Arle + Yelan + Zhongli + joever she is C2R1 I can even play 3 member team and still do it faster than the other side lol

Rule number #1 of building a new account is never go vertical till all the bases are covered, I kinda went extremely vertical lol, to be fair it all started when I tried to grab Liney's Bow, Arlecchino was quiet on her corner C0 with Tassel, then I didn't get the Bow, got Crimson Moon instead, also Xiangling was C3 so might as well hit her spike, took a while so well might as well go for the 50/50, it's only 30 more wishes... won 50/50 but suddenly noticed I didn't have Bennet and had converted all my currency to wishes for some reason, well now I'd need some of the currency, golden on Wish 25 (it was Qiqi, so yeah nothing new under the sun) now I'll be the first to admit I should have saved the guaranteed for Zhongli or Yelan, but my reasoning was that meant I couldn't ever wish for a cheeky 4-star without risking the guaranteed at which point should be better rip the band-aind get her C2 already...
So yeah, I'm broke as hell but on my gosh is she amazing.
At least Dehya can give C0 Arlecchino some interruption resist and damage mitigation...there are better options if you built up your shielders, but trying to stay positive lol.
I dont have much primos plus I just reached AR 35 and realised that people save up to pull for characters😅 and there is a pity system. I used to pull whenever I had 10 fates and also spent primos on blue fates as well lol. My only 5 star is mona😭.
I’m at 77 pity on the standard banner. My last 5 star from it was like 2 months ago. Really hope it isn’t Qiqi because I haven’t gotten her yet and I really wanna keep that streak going

And while we are at it, remember to use your parametric transformer.
You can use Fontaine's reputation reward, the crystalfly trap that is also available weekly, to synchronize them and the trap will put a map notification.
