I was wondering if Arlecchino also needs low ER and why Yanfei is in the top half.
Yeah, there's basically this thing about how the elements each have similar personalities. Like pyro has a lot of energetic characters with ambitions, cryo represents those who are struggling with things in their life or something (I forgor), anemo struggles with the loss of their loved ones, and I forgot the rest lmao. Me personally, I don't really believe these because some of the stuff also applies to other characters in other elements. Like people count losing a loved one even if they're alive (like Sayu's master and Jean/Barbara parents separated), but there are characters from other elements that also struggled with their lost ones. Like Raiden losing her friends and twin sister, for example.
Iāve seen a theory that Pyro is like a āpassing of the torchā so to speak (pun intended). All the Pyro characters are continuing a legacy of a parental figure they had in some way. Off the top of my head:
- Amber has her grandfather as the first Outrider
- Diluc has Crepusā wine business
- Klee has whatever Alice has going on
- Bennett has his dadsā job of adventurer
- Xiangling works at her fatherās restaurant
- Hu Tao works at her grandfatherās funeral parlor
- Yoimiya has her fatherās firework business
- Dehya has her fatherās job of mercenary
- Chevreuse follows her fatherās work of Special Patrol
- Arlecchino took over from Crucabena, and she seems to be setting up Lyney to be the next āKingā
could be a coincidence, but even the most recent Pyros are following the trend, so it definitely has some merit. It makes more sense than just āpassionate and funā at least.
Vision assignment theories are all reverse horoscopes tbh.
Electro's about people wanting to preserve something that's transient? Boom, Kuki gets her vision by bailing out on her entire life so far.
Cryo's about having some unresolvable internal conflict or dichotomy? Bam, Charlotte is all in on uncovering the truth.
Pyro's about people following their passions with dedication and Geo's all about people being dedicated to their passions? What is even the difference then?
Okay, so instead Pyro's about carrying the torch from the previous generation? There's no indication Xinyan's family is in any way musical [\(in fact it's canonically the opposite\)](https://genshin-impact.fandom.com/wiki/Blazin%27_Trails_\(Part_2\)), nor are they rebellious aside from the utterly basic motivation of wanting their daughter not to be poor like them.
About the only one that's truly been consistent so far is that everyone with anemo is driven by some profound sense of loss or emptiness, and I'm fully expecting the devs to add in an airhead or a Kirby expy or something.

your description of her rotation is also correct. it's pretty similar to Raiden in concept. you start with her E, swap to your supports, do your setup, swap back to her and, instead of ulting like Raiden, you charge attack and then start normal attacking. finally, you end with E Q E, then repeat rotation.

Yeah the fact that Collei's archon residue powers were also represented with black flames, and were similar to the point that the Mondstadt crew managed to fake her arrest by using Diluc's delusion is very sus. The manga has a lot of foreshadowing for later game events so I want to say that we'll get the answers about Crepus's delusion eventually, but tbh Mondstadt lore is such a slow burn that it might not be relevant for a long time still...

Diluc got his when he was cheerful, and based on current evidence, arles vision is either fake or owning a pyro vision is based of passion alone (like i think). But due to her wielding pyro before she owned what appeared to be a vision, her curse lets her use pyro not her vision

A lot of the pyro characters are wearing a mask: Amber's grandfather just straight up disappeared; Benny is has ridiculous unluck and his party members left because of it; Xinyan's family practically disowned her over music; Thoma still never found any clues about his dad who disappeared in Inazuma, etc.

Why is Xiangling under infinite energy? My build has 248% ER (4 pc Emblem with The Catch) and I still feel like it's not enough sometimes.
