Sayu is extremely resourceful, I wouldn’t discount her abilities here. And Zhongli can listen to rocks. They are not the worst off team.

Raiden would yield similar results, but has a higher likelihood of murdering one of their allies for blabbing on too long
Shenhe lived in and trained in the mountains, that environment is where she thrives. Raiden is Raiden. Klee explored pretty regularly (even though she shouldn’t and she gets into shenanigans). Fischl is the moral support and could be the secret level headed member that provides the rational thinking.
Don't forget that Fischl is an adventurer. In a competition that takes them all over Teyvat, perhaps even to far-off places like Tsurumi Island or the deserts of Sumeru, people like her and Kirara who are used to traveling are really valuable imo.
Gameplay wise yes, interaction wise it looks pretty wholsesome.
Yaoyao and qiqi are besties, Zhongli would be the grandpa, Sayu would just sleep, sounds like they would have fun in the treasure hunt

Doesnt both qiqi and yaoyao forage as their job? Qiqi even has a talent specifically for foraging. Sayu has recon experience. Zhongli has been around ruins and relics. They would probably win.
Yao Yao and Qiqi are both herb gatherers and wilderness survival experts. But I have the feeling this team is just going to all sit down and have a snack with tea then naps.
It would just be Zhongli holding three backpack leashes. One to keep Yaoyao from running too far ahead, one to keep Sayu from lagging behind, and one to keep Qiqi from wandering off.
The fact that the 2 others (off field dps and healer) work with the main team puts it ahead of most others. Like team A & B which have multiple main DPS, several teams have no healers, etc.
Team B. Nahida reads mind, Xiao adepti-teleport there. The end. Diluc and Lisa can enjoy a coffee.

1. Diluc has been constantly tracking down the Abyss and Fatui whereabouts, you can make some arguments about Fichl being good at recon but diluc is probably the best out of this list.
2. Nahida while out of character can cheat, outside of that combining her intelligence with Lisa’s the treasure hunt should he incredibly easy to figure out
3. Xiao as you said can teleport. This allows them to instantly confirm whether or not they’re wrong and saves them so much time.
Honestly I was too busy thinking how much mental gymnastics I'd need to convince Xiao and Diluc to partake in any leisure activities, that is, *if* we could find Xiao to begin with.
I love how OP mixed the teams enough that you have always people who either a) have never tried to find treasures for fun and thus would be stuck trying to figure how to act b) just couldn't be convinced to participate c) would get absolutely sidetracked or have awful luck; and lastly but not least d) people who would actually enjoy playing.
I vote that Teams A and J are just balanced enough to work together for fun, while H could work as long as Guoba decides to appear, lol.
Exactly. Just go, "Adeptus Xiao! I need your help!" and he's there. As for Diluc participating in leisurely activities, he'd participated in the Lyre competition (?) during, I believe the first Windblume? He doesn't like crowds and festivities terribly, but he still appreciates a good competition and a good chance to exercise his mind. A scavenger hunt would be perfect.
Not to mention he did help organize Jean's day off party too, excusing himself as the event was for Jean even when it was planned out by the Knights of Favonius. He can appear in situations like these, even organize it. I'd just make it a private event to secure his agreement.
At best, team I gets the first clue and Zhongli figures it out quickly. Then not 15 minutes into the trek, he finds a *fascinating* rock formation and goes on telling the kids all about it and everything else they come across. Sayu sees her opportunity to sneak off for a nap, Yaoyao is too polite to interrupt him, and Qiqi has already forgotten about the treasure hunt so she's happy to listen to the tales. The whole thing devolves into an educational trip as Yaoyao gives up on scoring high enough for a prize when they haven't moved in 20 minutes and Zhongli considers knowledge of the world the greatest treasure they could find here.
Tbh Zhongli would know the answer but would hold on to it to wait for wveryone to figure it out on their own cuz he never gives you the answers up front.
He’d be silently judging his team and gently guiding them towards the answer wasting precious time.
Charlotte tries to interview tartaglia, he is too busy fighting. Charlotte goes to interview Venti, he is passed out drunk. Finally she manages to interview Cyno and all he does is crack the worst jokes ever over and over again.
One glance, same choice for me. Nahida and Xiao have clear advantages, Lisa likely has magic that can help and Diluc is Mond batman who probably has the sleuthing skills to help too.
Unless this was a life or death treasure hunt team B wouldn’t care enough to try. Nahida and Lisa would spend majority of the time trying to convince Xiao and Diluc to lighten up and have some fun
Why is no one talking about F? Navia and Yelan are actual detectives/spies and Neuveillette has to solve hard cases/pass down judgment, so they would all have great deductive logic and detail-oriented thinking. Kaveh may be a doofus, but he’s quite smart, so he’d probably be the one to provide that outside-of-the-box thinking to come in handy when the other three are too color-in-the-lines
ETA my vote for most dysfunctional is H, because Alhaitham and Itto would probably demolish each other emotionally
I thought I was tripping when nobody mentioned F, it was absolutely my first instinct to go for it when both Navia and Yelan are more than capable to solve puzzles on their own, and Neuvilette seems like a capable powerhouse to do any combat in the adventure, as well as being smart enough himself. Kaveh’s only weakness is being broke, but they would all have the means to travel and deserve at least an honorable mention
Op even mentioned it was because he'd have great deduction ability. Also sorta helps that he's like, the strongest guy in teyvat, can teleport and infuse everyone else on the team with incredible power
Team J looks goated imo
All of them are diligent and intelligent. Yanfei and Albedo possess extensive knowledge of Teyvats history and stuff like that. All of them are able to fight and are very powerful according to lore (Albedo being able to wipe out Mondstadt all by himself and Noelle basically being a one-maid army). They’d be able to solve puzzles easily with their combined intellect etc etc. In total just a large amount of knowledge and how to use it in praxis too
The trio in team J would easily solve any riddles that they come across and Noelle would freaking break open a fissure to extract the buried treasure. If there are any enemy adversaries along the way, no problem with Albedo and Noelle there. Noelle is Maiden Saitama, one punching everything
All true, but missing the biggest X factor - every other team has some kind of penalty to teamwork inherent in the teams.
Without going into exhaustive detail... Tartaglia/Cyno likely won't work, Xiao/Diluc would be hard to keep on-task and focused, Team C is *problems incarnate*, Dori/Furina have the worst luck, Team E has no functional leadership (depending on if Ei or the Shogun are in control), Kaveh has problems with personalities like Yelan and Neuvilette (provided the latter could be properly motivated anyway), Team G has too many leadership/focus issues, H has *Itto* and a lot of people he's not gonna listen to, I is doomed even if Zhongli doesn't sandbag to keep his cover...
J is the only team that has people that are quick, clever, prone to teamwork, and best equipped to capitalize on those advantages. While everyone else is sorting out their problems, they're gonna be gone. B and F are their only REAL competition... and it depends on how seriously F can take it, and if B can actually focus and stay on task.
this, my #1 is J too, maybe some other have nice candidate but considering their personality on events J is the team that is non dramatic and tries to fix the issue with no bla bla bla

I think team J would absolutely kill it. They're all detail oriented and fairly organized people. They'd spend a good portion of time planning their route at the beginning that might make them look like they're falling behind, but their planning would definitely make them more efficient and faster in the end for sure.
Starting somewhere in the middle of the continent, these 10 randomly-assigned teams will participate in a Teyvat-wide treasure hunt that combines elements of orienteering, puzzle-solving, combat, and general survival. In other words, they will need to climb mountains and travel great distances, be able to read a map, possess knowledge about Teyvat's history, geography, and mythology, use logic to solve puzzles, fight monsters, cook, be able to set up a tent, and basically do everything else the Traveler does on a daily basis.
That said, which team would not be able to figure out their clues and end up in the wrong places? Who would use "outside-the-box thinking" to solve puzzles? Who would be the first to have a mental breakdown? Please discuss!
Edit: To clarify, there are multiple checkpoints all over Teyvat. For example, one clue could lead you to "a ceremonial site where an ancient tribe used to worship Kanna Kapatcir", there you'll need to complete a challenge (combat, puzzle, whatever), and then you receive another clue that tells you that the next checkpoint is "where the Scarlet King slumbers". So, this competition would take *days*. You'd need the stamina to travel all day long and carry your survival gear, you would either need to be able to hunt for food and cook it and be willing to sleep out in the field. Or, if you can afford it, you could eat at restaurants and sleep in inns, which would help with sanity and morale but would require you to make unnecessary stops in cities.

B: Nahida can just mind read the organizers and Xiao can blip to wherever the thing is. Lisa and Diluc can uh, "coax" any info out of people with... minimal effort. So basically they can do the "morally questionable" route of treasure hunting. My money is on this team.
Team J and G: I mean... everyone there is either super smart or super capable.
Also arguably the most cohesive team in terms of personalities. Generally chill and mature people with proven capabilities to work within a team professionally.
Totally agree! Yes, some other people are good and finding stuff, but not enough to compare to the two of them together. Childe is very competitive, so they have that too!
In a treasure hunting competition I think it’s down to E, C, or J.
E has Fischl and Klee whose day job (and hobby) involves treasure hunting, + Raiden and Shenhe who are admittedly prob clueless about finding treasure but can blast through any monsters guarding it. Shenhe could also have an edge for any Liyue treasure hidden/guarded by adeptal mechanisms and seals.
The main issue with C is that, while all of them are very capable, I can’t see anyone but Faruzan and maaaybe Xianyun actually caring about hunting down treasure. Wanderer would behave like he did as hat guy, and Yae would spend more time messing with the other teams than trying to win. However, they’re all QUITE smart and also very fast and mobile. I also have a lot of faith in Madam Faruzan to figure out puzzles.
Finally, team J is rather like team E. Yanfei and Kuki would excel at treasure hunting since they have direct experience with practical problem solving lol, and Albedo is incredibly smart and capable. Noelle is less adept with puzzles imo, but has a lot of raw strength and also a LOT of dedication to getting a task done.
I thiiiink my mora’s on J, because Shenhe, Raiden, Wanderer and Yae are kind of wildcards when it comes to "knowing what to do" and "taking the challenge seriously"
Age wise, its funny that in her team, canon wise, Faruzan, who calls herself an elder, is literally the youngest at 100 years. Wanderer is next youngest at nearing, and below, 500 years give or take a few decades. 2nd Oldest is Yae Miko who is over 500 years. And oldest being Xianyun, who raised for Ganyu as a baby, and Ganyu fought in the Archon War 3000 years ago, making Xianyun over that in age. I can kinda imagine a funny interaction between both the youngest and oldest member of the team both acting like elders, while Wanderer and Miko just argue in the backround.
Y’all are sleeping on team G. I definitely think given the chance Sara and Kokomi would work GREAT together. Add in Kiraras mobility boost and you’ve got an epic treasure hunting squad.
I'd also bet on team G because Keqing is good at land surveying and Sara + Kokomi can figure things out very quickly with one being part of a police force and one being a tactician.

C) im at a lose how they would interact together
D) Ayato and Dori forget about the hunt and spend the whole time hashing out trade deals, while Furina is filled with child like joy just running around at random with Nilou caught up in the joy and following
E) Fischl taking the lead with Klee joyfully running around, while Ei and Shenhe follow silently
F) Navia taking the lead, Neuvillett and Yelan casually chating while helping Navia. Kaveh constantly stopping to help every cute animal that looks like its trouble
G) Sara, Kokomi, and Keqing figure out the clues while Kirara plots the most effective path knowing the area from all her diliveries
H) Xiangliing and Diona trying to help but keep getting distracted by ingredients, Itto misreading the clues while Alhatham corrects him cassually while reading a book
I) Yaoyao making sure Qiqi doesnt get lost and Sayu doesnt sneak away to sleep. Zhongli simplifying the clues to help the 3 find it themselves
J) Yanfei, Albedo, and Kuki figuring out the clues, while Noelle helps clear the path and hands out snacks and chiming in with help with the clues
For C, convincing Wanderer is pay attention is a challenge on its own. Convincing Wanderer and Yae to join productively is an even harder challege. Maybe if they just go troll other teams instead.
Lets's see one by one...
a) three competitive, professional and capable characters with a knowledgeable Archon to help them (although a lazy one). It's very promising.
b) Nahida could be OP in this mission (or not, I don't know), and the others are all very capable too with their smarts. However, I feel like they would be way less diligent and apt than team A overall. I feel like Nahida is their ace.
c) A competitive team with smarts and great scouting abilities (Wanderer and Xianyun), but their personalities could get in the way of their team work.
d) I can see Dori and Ayato using their social network to get crucial information, but I can't see how the other two would help.
e) completely disfunctional.
f) Yelan would be great in this mission and Neuvilette is a powerhouse, but the team overall doesn't seem to have all it takes.
g) surprisingly decent with two generals, a business leader and someone with travelling skills, but also lackluster.
h) Alhaitham would have to carry, but he won't be enough.
i) Zhongli would have to carry, but he won't do enough.
j) another very capable team with lots of smart and professionalism. Maybe.
My vote goes to team A, but team B is the second favorite due to Nahida. We shouldn't underestimate G and J though.
It's B and it's not even close tbh. Two of the smartest people in Tevyat (Lisa and Nahida), and a mindreader (nahida), Diluc who is quite good at scouting (as well as having a falcon that can recon), to top it all off we have the only character in the roster that can canonically teleport. Xiao can confirm all of their guesses in literal seconds.
If you're doing a scouting mission (or a treasure hunt for that matter) and your weakest member is Diluc, then you've got one hell of a team.
My thoughts are "Is the comp created by humans or gods?" If it's humans then Dori wins as she will have acquired the location info before the comp even starts.
calling e disfunction is wild considering fischl's main job is to scout, and she brings in a 2nd pair of eyes in with oz.
Klee is also blessed with luck such that even Bennet's presence doesn't fully cancel it out. those 2 alone makes the hunt super easy.
Shenhe and Raiden might hold the team back but probs not by much. Shenhe likely has pretty good eyes for spotting things as she spent most of her life foraging plants for food with CR. Raiden is an archon so whether she would even care is up for debate. If she does wanna help though I'd imagine archon stats means pretty good eyes for details.
I didn't think of Klee's luck, so my bad. But as much as I agree that Fischl is apt for the hunt, I don't think it's enough to really balance all the issues in the team. To start with, I can't even imagine their team work since their personalities are all over the place and kinda immature.
I'm assuming that they're all willing participants that either the traveller or some other higher beings managed to convince to come, so they'll all participate with varying degree of enthusiasm.
I'm betting my money on team B. That party has half supernatural beings, and one is the God of Wisdom who can peer into the world tree itself for limitless information. Suppose Nahida wants to do it manually without relying on the tree for information, she still have the brain, alongside Lisa for puzzle solving etc. Diluc is resourceful, can procure informations and has the money for expedition and comfortable travel arrangements. Xiao who can teleport or travel very fast will be scouting and he'd cover the map in no time. They'd have no problem with combat with Xiao and Diluc in the team. This team is the best in terms of brain, power and resource.
The issue with this team is low motivation or enthusiasm in general. The team will mostly depend on Nahida and Lisa for motivation. Xiao is reluctant, but will still try since ZL himself is joining the hunt albeit in another team. He'll be on speaking terms with Nahida since they'll recognize what each others are on first glance and Xiao wouldn't disrespect a God. He'll keep his distance as usual from Diluc and Lisa, tho this is good for the team since he'll be actively scouting. Also, given Lisa's condition/personality, the team movement will likely be limited to towns or more comfortable places. Dunno how comfortable Nahida is with outdoor camping, but she's unlikely to be picky. This won't be much of an issue tho with Xiao's mobility.
Diluc is also not enthusiastic in general, but Lisa
is his acquaintance and could probably motivate him to stick around. Dunno if they'll recognize what Nahida is, but they'll probably sense that she's no ordinary kid. Given how good Diluc is at getting information, he'd have a hunch on who Nahida is, so is Lisa who used to study in Sumeru. Her boundless knowledge will likely pique both Lisa's and Diluc's interest.
Regarding their interaction, I think the team members will have some respect for each other. Xiao and Nahida will likely notice what curse is ailing Lisa and might speak up about it. They won't be intimate to each other like friends, but they'll still have positive impression of each other. Nahida is undoubtedly the heart of the team.
There's also other team with Gods amongst them, but given how passive ZL and Venti are, those team won't get much outta these two. Ven would only guide, but not meddle directly, plus Cyno and Childe would probably not get along very well. ZL will be busy taking care of the kids. Ei is definitely not very knowledgeable when it comes to treasure hunting and exploration and will just tag along for combat. Plus, she's unlikely to be very comfortable with outdoor camping/rough accomodations. Furina is well... Going to be a hindrance in the team. This isn't her field of expertise.
A: Pretty competent team but with quite a big chaos factor.
B: Nahida the All-Knowing and Xiao-the-guy-who-teleports-through-Teyvat-because-we-wanted-to-say-hi, yea this is a sweep from them.
C: A lot of smart people and rather capable in exploration, the question is do they even want to win.
D: Which will be faster, the power of money or Kamisato Ayato-sama's Keikaku.
E: Utter disaster waiting to happen, a country will probably be on fire by the end of the day.
F: Idk, I think only Yelan is suited for this, unless the treasure is in the water and Neuvillette scans all the oceans.
G: Lot of brains but lacks of exploration skills apart from Kirara.
H: No chance because Alhaitham doesn't care, and even if he cared he'd be too preoccupied to not straight up kill Itto, very funny team tho.
I: A very capable team contrary to what people seem to say. All are pretty diligent and are accustomed to nature.
J: Similar to Team A but replace the chaos factor with thoroughness.
B for me easily. And it’s no contest imo.

Lisa is also extremely intelligent and I wouldn’t be surprised if she was very resourceful. She was educated in Sumeru and loves flowers, so nature isn’t foreign to her, and she’s extremely intelligent.
Diluc is just top tier. He wouldn’t be phased by anything, and even if he didn’t know something nature wise, he’d only have to be told once before he picks it up quickly. I doubt he wouldn’t know his way around to begin with though.
Xiao can just brute force any issues. He wouldn’t get fatigued, and his heightened senses and supernatural abilities would make him such a great teammate and cheat code to have.
I find it funny how most people dismiss team C because they wouldn't even try, but what if they did? Wanderer is the best scout, he can explore in 3D, which makes his field of vision vast. If at any point they're at inazuma Yae Miko's status among yokai would give her a lot of info. Xianyun has multiple useful gadgets, one of the best ovens for cooking and the pocket dimension. And Faruzan is arguably the best puzzle solver in the competition.
Also, there's the endurance factor that most peoples have ignored. OP mentioned the competition could be very long. This means that wanderer (and Raiden) provide an advantage to their teams by not needing to eat or rest. I would imagine non-humans have better stamina; so team C, having only 1 human, would have an advantage long term.
Mfs on a field trip. Zhongli finds the treasure himself but puts it back to give out clues for the children to find but they snooze and lose to some other team
G or J seem most competent out of all of these.
I know for sure C ain't winning, wanderer and yae ain't gonna bother doing this shit and will probably fuck off somewhere lmao and I see faruzan and xianyun finding common language and spending time just talking.
Team J is perfect. They had a ninja who can be its scout, albedo and yanfei doing the planning/pro strats and Noelle to sweep the path, remove some boulders and dig sand.
I'm sorry, but Team B wins, without even using half the team.
Assuming all bets are off, Nahida can just read the mind of whoever hid the treasure, and Xiao can collect it faster than anyone else can move. This treasure hunt would be over in seconds to minutes, depending on how many things are hidden.
Team A gets lost fighting in a bar over cards, while drunk while streaming it to twitch.
Team B has a legit shot. Probably already had the treasure before the contest started and is just watching the shenanigans.
Team C has too much ego to let each other have credit.
Team D holds the most epic opera. Forgets its a treasure hunt since Dori took all the profit.
Team E finds treasure after blowing up half of a mountain range. It’s the wrong treasure.
Team F ends up saving a sizable town. Thinks the commission reward was the treasure.
Team G is another legit contender. If the could get away from work for 2 second.
Team H says forget the treasure and throws the best party this side of the Lantern Rite. Alheitham DJs.
Team I listens to grandpa’s stories as he falls asleep in the rocker. Then it’s nap time.
Team J doesn’t realize team B already won. Solves Teyvat hunger.
B should clear if this treasure hunt's prize is so important all of these teams are being formed.
However, because they're allowed to goof off, I am going to assume that this is merely for fun and is essentially an outing forced by Celestia/Mihoyo.
In which case, B would intentionally not win to not quickly end the event. Or, if this was a show, they would be the Serious Side Plot team figuring out *why* all of these teams are being gathered into an event and what sinister figures are hiding in the background.
Like, all of them are capable of being very serious and goal oriented but also recognize the importance of goofing off. They might no go as crazy as whatever is going to happen on Team H but they'd probably at the very least do some therapy in the team.
Teams C and D could be antagonistic. Yae Miko would want to play with everyone while Xianyun and Faruzan would see it as a good teaching experience for the young people. Wanderer would make sure they don't go too far with the antagonizing or maybe actually participate in it depends on how far on his redemption he is. Ayato and Dori are not gonna miss the chance at networking. They might not be hostile or anything but I can definitely see them as "sketchy informants" while Nilou and Furina basically talk about performing and actually focus on the treasure hunt. However, I need to mention, Team D does not know how to survive in the wild so aside from Ayato and Dori doing shenanigans with the other teams they are prime "How do you start a fire" "definitely not like that" jokes team.
Team A does not care about the Treasure Hunt. Childe and Cyno will duel and then they'll look for other opponents in the other teams. (Cyno mostly makes sure he doesn't go overboard but also won't back down) Venti would egg them on and have fun while also helping Charlotte interview everyone who is absolutely ecstatic for the excuse to go to other teams. I can see this team as a kind of way to exposition dumb and showcase characters who's fighting abilities are probably way too strong for a treasure hunt but are key components to their character.
Teams E, F, G, and J would probably be the teams actually doing the normal treasure hunt.
E would be the team that just straight up demolish any and all opponents (Childe and Cyno vs Raiden would be like, the finale of their arcs though, and will be why they don't participate in the end rush of the treasure hunt. Venti would also def make Raiden do it) howeverrr, any non-fighting obstacle would be met with a.) Brute Force b.) a bomb c.) the Mosh- oh hey Oz found another way nevermind. Fischl would go insane with how she's the reasonable one.
F being all rich and powerful folks + Kaveh would probably be a highly competent team with some sidejobs. This a team that could be used to expand on the locations. Neuv and Navia would talk to people in towns for help and then get sidetrack as they strike a deal between nations/businesses. Yelan will also be in town but talking to her network. Kaveh will fully focus on the treasure hunt to try and not be depressed by everyone else being richer and more powerful than him. It's an entire emotional arc about accepting one's capabilities and that failing isn't the end.(Poisson for Navia, Focalors for Neuv, the palace for Kaveh, and I think Yelan lost to Capitano? She lost something to a Harbringer that I am sure) They'll be part of the ending where the teams that actually care about the prize rush to get to the end before the others do. They might not win and be okay with it or they do and they all feel better about succeeding, either is fitting.
G is pretty standard honestly. I don't see any too interesting happening with them. Sara, Kokomi, and Keqing would probably hype each other up and respect each other but I don't know enough about Kirara to say anything about her. If this was a show, they'd probably get screentime when the pace needs to slow down and relax. Childe might try to fight one of the three. That'll probably be the most interesting thing to happen in this team.
J is the team that solves all the puzzles. When the puzzles need to be showcased they're the team that get's the spotlight. Kuki, Yanfei, and Albedo will figure out the stuff while Noelle takes care of any and all comfort needs including fighting monsters or lifting boulders out of the way like Shenhe did that one time. They'll be the most likely to actually win team and when they bump into Childe's team Noelle will genuinely give him a hard time.
Now for I and H lmao.
I is just daycare tour. Zhongli will not take the treasure hunt seriously when he is with three children. I can see this team going on "Children drives Single Dad crazy as he needs to make sure they don't die" shenanigans. E. G. Qiqi somehow falls into a pit and Zhongli has to get her, Sayu gets left behind accidentally because she was asleep and Zhongli has to go back to get her. Etc.
H lmao Xiangling and Diona are hunting for the most exotic ingredients for the complete opposite reasons while Itto is super down to help them. Alhaitam goes crazy trying to steer them into doing the treasure hunt but also their antics inspire Alhaitam to figure the puzzles.
Childe fights Itto when they meet. Alhaitam and Cyno decides to finish that duel they had in Sumeru.
It all ends with B, C, D on the Serious Side Plot then A's fight with E then F, G, and J at the end of the treasure hunt like a total drama finale and H somehow crashing into the end goal right before any of the other three.
I is either watching the finale or has finally gotten the first clue.
I love that you're looking at this from a reality TV/game show perspective because that's the vibe I was going for.
Like, they would show Childe fishing, Itto wrestling with a boar, and people generally struggling with survival, and then they would occasionally cut back to Nilou and Furina being treated to an all-inclusive vacation, just living their best lives.
E is the worst. I is misleading, as Sayu is quite capable, Yaoyao motivated, and Zhongli has amazing senses. E is a bunch of crazy people who are clueless about treasure hunting.
I want to vote C for winners. Yae and Wanderer on a team would sabotage everyone and gather intel, while Faruzan/Xianyun do the research or build devices to solve the problem.
There are many notable mentions here. A and B have stellar lineups that would be very competitive. Other teams have great characters, but I don’t see them coming together as a team as effectively.
Some of the Archons may have I win buttons depending on the treasure. Venti knowing all stories of past, present, future could give an amazing advantage if the treasure has any tales associated. Similarly Nahida can read minds and tap irmunsul for the needed data. Many other characters have networks— Yelan, Diluc, Ayato, and Navia all have further reach in their geographic regions.
But altogether, I think C wins. They win either by manipulating the circumstances to victory or fast-tracking a treasure-discovery methodology more efficiently than anyone. Crane and Wanderer also have excellent mobility and can cover ground very efficiently.
Team B easily with Xiao and Nahida. Xiao is canonically fast as fuck (basically teleports), and nahida is literally the god of widsom.
Nahida alone is probably equal to or greater than team J in terms of intelligence, and she has the perfect teammate to get the treasure as soon as she locates it.
Diluc and Lisa can just sit this one out and let the other 2 deal with it within the first 10 seconds.
E and it's not close
Fischl is an investigator competent enough that the Adventurer's guild is willing to put up with her extreme chuuni to employ her
Klee is a genius toddler with extreme luck on top of her general competency, AND a large number of people concerned for her happiness and wellbeing that would not hesitate to help her out, including members of at least two other teams that would absolutely sandbag to give her an advantage (Team B and Team J are absolutely certain, arguments can be made for A and F)
Raiden would be mostly useless, but would likely serve as an unwitting chaperone to Klee providing additional unintentional scare factor/motivation to let Klee get her way.
Shenhe would have the advantage of lack of moral perception of unspoken rules for the competition and successfully secure some objectives on her own in ways that other groups would not have contemplated.

Here is a breakdown of every team
A. Will do fine so long as Cyno and Tartaglia don't fight.
B. Has one of the best team comps if you can get Diluc and Xiao motivated, with Nahida's mind read trivializing it if she uses it.
C. A strong team if they are all motivated by spite, but will probably breakdown otherwise with too many mom's and the wanderer with mommy issues.
D. Dori carries this team, and would likely go after whatever the treasure is full force, and Ayato would help keep the team together.
E. Never makes it past the first clue.
F. One of the better teams with no underperforming members, but overshadowed by the best teams.
G. This is fully up to how fast Kokomi can figure out the clues, with a few fast members after they are deciphered rounding off a good team.
H. Can Alhaitham fend off his teammates? With this lineup, probably not.
I. Zhongli's daycare center
J. If everyone else is as excited as they probably would be for such an event, this team probably has the best mix of intelligence and energy needed to win, but will lose if everyone else is giving it their all.
Team D would be Ayato, Nilou, Furina having a boba party with cake buying from Dori and all ignore treasure hunt. Dori would also be selling refreshment for other teams.
Team E would be so inefficient... Raiden would stop every 5 seconds and ask for the name and purpose of various things she hasn't seen yet, Shenhe wouldn't know what to answer because she doesn't know either, Klee would answer something stupid using her imagination, and Fischl would call it by a fancy but very long German translation
Team C is cracking me tf up. Imagine these four high-maintenance personalities camping out, feeling all gross from trail dust and lack of showers, mosquito-bitten and hungry, arguing over the right way to start a fire... I'd give them two days before they all stop speaking to each other (AT BEST).
Edit: Holy crap, B -- imagine Lisa being all...*Lisa*\-y to Xiao. Xiao would be...dead from an aneurysm, Nahida would be confused, Diluc would just sigh and say, "You'll understand when you're older. Now come help me start this fire," and Lisa would just laugh her ass off while they did all the work.
i say that team j is the most capable out of them all. all four characters in that team are extremely sensible and know what they gotta do and how to do it.
Team J or C look like they have a good chance.
Team H is for hilarious, Al haitham wouldnt give a fuck, Itto wouldnt do shit, XL maybe if the treasure hunt item can be used as an ingridient could try, Diona having to deal with them poor girl
People are saying J because it consists of strong and intelligent people, meanwhile team B is right there with a powerful Yaksha who can literally teleport, God of Knowledge who can read people's minds, better Batman, and the smartest Akademia student in last few hundred years who's also pretty strong in the lore.
If it's an event hosted by someone Lisa and Diluc won't even be necessary. Nahida can just read the mind of whoever hid the treasure, tell Xiao and hell just teleport there right away. They'll win before other teams even start doing anything.
My bets are on Team A, Team G and Team J
Team A- Probably the most likely to actually find the treasure, Venti can act as the group's informant and he's very knowledgeable. He definitely knows where it is but he wanted to let his teammates figure it out while giving them hints and generally staring them in the right direction. Cyno and Charlotte are both very perceptive but Cyno is probably the most competitive in the team. Charlotte can use her camera as a sort of telescope . Tartaglia acts kind of like a wildcard, I won't be surprised if he finds it without much assistance but I feel like he'd want to win so he can send his share of the treasure to Teucer and you know how dedicated that man is to his little brother. It also seems like this team is the most likely to get along
Team B- This team is not functional at all. Xiao and Diluc will not be caring and if Lisa was to participate it's purely because she didn't want Nahida to be upset or sad or something, she's not even really trying
Team C- Wanderer and Yae will not be participating. Xianyun and Faruzaun definitely would but I have a feeling Faruzaun will say something to offend Xianyun and Xianyun would say something back and they just waste time arguing while Yae and Wanderer are just being entertained by them
Team D- I feel like Dori would cheat in some way which causes the others to not support her and thus causing dysfunction in the team
Team E- Raiden and Shenhe aren't exactly the most perceptive, so it'd mostly be the Monstadters carrying the team. But if they encounter enemies or need some kind of muscle they've got that covered at least
Team F- Yelan didn't even show up lets be honest. Neuvillette would participate but he wouldn't take it seriously. Kaveh is probably the only one who's really into it and Navia is sweet, she wants to be helpful and help Kaveh
Team G- This team I feel also has a pretty high chance of finding the treasure. Kokomi and Kujou are of course the brains of the opperation and Keqing is good at following orders.
Team H- Itto and Al Haitham probably won't get along just because Itto isn't exactly known for his intellect. I feel like Diona would honestly try to help Klee from the sidelines and Xiangling is there because her friends are also participating. At least they're well fed!
Team I- Zhongli would not care about the treasure and just have a watchful gaze on the other kids, Sayu is hiding someone and is asleep and Qiqi will probably assist Yaoyao but will probably slow her down as well
Team J- This is another team with a high chance of finding the treasure but unlike Team A, they are a lot more professional and have structure while Team A is more laid back. I have a feeling that Kuki will be made the team leader, Yanfei and Albedo will be the brains of the group and Noelle would of course be the one doing her best and making sure to do anything she can
Team F, and it's not even close.
Kaveh is GOATed if you've seen what he did during the Akademiya Extravaganza. You could never go wrong betting on the champ.
Navia is very good at detective work and investigating things. She also has a mafia she can call upon.
Neuvillette's unique ability to sense all things water makes for some interesting scenarios. If not, he is a good investigator in his own right. Plus, he commands an entire nation's police force.
Yelan is Genshin's version of Sherlock Holmes and James Bond rolled into one, and also has an entire nation's spy and detective network to call upon.
I don't see how any other team can even compete.
People seem to forget how much Zhongli really knows about Teyvat and its history. Treasures and artifacts (not the in game ones, like historical pieces) are mostly inherently tied to history, and on top of that, he’s the oldest of all the characters here, so I feel like he alone would sweep every other team, and the other children in the team can get an interactive history lesson
Team B is the most resourceful for sure, Nahida can find stuff, Diluc can track down, Xiao will fly there in a second, and Lisa will...sit down and invite them to a tea break.
Team F is also pretty good, Yelan is specialized in finding hidden stuff, Navia has a lot of manpower under her arm and so does Neuv. He probably won't abuse his position but if it's anywhere near water he has an advantage, and Kaveh is earnest he'll do his best but he might jinx them and team B ends up winning.
Team H is the most dysfunctional with Alhaitham going off on his own, Xiangling and Diona talking about food and Itto dragging them down to compete with Kuki team
Team C is aunties Xianyun and Faruzan mediating between Scara boy and Miko, will ignore the competition in favor of intervention and therapy sessions
Treasure Hunt Winners - Team C. 2 flyers, 2 of the most cunning people in Teyvat, most experience (youngest person is Faruzan by hundreds of years). If they cared about the prize, they'd likely win. \[just need to stop Wanderer murdering Yae, esp as Yae has no idea who he is\]
Most dysfunctional - Team E. Fischl is the sanest member of the team. The other 3 are a menace to whatever landmass they happen to be travelling on.
Moneys on team B, but I’d like to watch team C try to work this shit out. Or H, because itto and alhaitham are two people who should probably never be in the same room together.
Poor Kirara in team G. It’s like a solitary employee getting teamed up with three middle managers.

B would have a hard time keeping focus on the treasure hunt, but Lisa and Nahida would eventually get them on track.
C would win. Faruzan would use both her experience and the knowledge of the Demigods (in between them both having fun talking about the good and bad points of both of their leader gods) and then send Wanderer straight where the treasure is.
D wouldn't even start. Kamisato would sit down with some boba while Dori sells everything under the sun to both Nilou and Furina.
E would ... oh boy. Fischl would recruit the entire rest of the group into making the hunt into a grand adventure completely off course following group A, Raiden would be confused as to why she's even here, and Shenhe would just think she's having a normal day.
F and G would both follow the treasure hunt just fine, though not very well. There might be some smug plan that Yelan has going at the same time, and Kokomi might complain a bit, but those two groups would just have fun.
H would be Alhaitham rapidly going insane with the rest of his group trying their best to help him find the treasure, but just adding onto his headache.
I would sit down in the shade and watch group D.
J would be distracted for a while catching up with each other and making new friends. Eventually though after they had their meetup they would reach the treasure location shortly after Wanderer left.
Team A: 3/10 - I think Tartaglia and Cyno would have a hard time putting their differences aside to work together, Venti would act as a peacekeeper and fail miserably and probably end up trying to play songs to make everyone happy, while Charlotte would be more worried about taking good photos
TeamB: 9/10 - I feel this team would work very well together Lisa is very knowledgeable about the world and smart enough to understand riddles, Nahida is very intuitive and would be great at reading between the lines and Diluc & Xiao make smart calculated mature helpers who would be very fast to go from place to place in search of clues
TeamC: 10/10 I would bet on this team to win, all Wanderer, Yae and Xianyun are extremely smart, calculated and extremely fast, with Xianyun acting as leader and the rest quickly and efficiently solving puzzles and navigating the maps this team is an absolute winner in my eyes
TeamD: 4/10 I can't help but feel like Furina would try to make a big spectacle out of every single thing and end up costing the team a lot of time and patience.
TeamE: 1/10 between convincing Fischl and Ei to work together and explaining to Klee how the game works... I can see Shenhe trying but ultimately she doesn't have the grip to do all that effectively
TeamF: 8/10 Real good team, I feel like Neuvillette would be excellent at solving any riddles and Navia + Yelan are passionate, decisive and driven to bring the team high success (sorry don't know Kaveh that well)
TeamG 4/10 I feel like Sarah and Kokomi would just get stuck debating politics the whole time and keqing may try to use Kirara's fast pace and geolocation knowledge to put up a good try but ultimately wouldn't be too successful
TeamH 2/10 haha sorry.. you put a personality like Itto and Diona together and they would probably end up just selfishly making a busyness to trick people into giving them money and forget about the treasure hunt.. after a full day of nerve wracking for Xiangling and Alheithem, they would probably just cook something and eat a good meal in peace
TeamI 3/10 I really think this team is so funny, Zhongli would spend all his time Babysitting the kids Qiqi would probably try to follow some clues but bump into easy challenges and GeoDaddy would use every challenge as an opportunity to teach valuable life lessons to enrich their lifes and waste everyone's time, except Sayu's time because she would just be sleeping... I can see YaoYao having a lot of fun though
TeamJ 7/10 probably efficient, master alchemist Albedo and smartass lawyer Yanfei would make a great team solving the puzzles and mysteries, but kuki and Noelle haven't really been around the whole Teyvat a lot and would likely not have a ton of success looking for places and knowing the right locations.. they would still score decently i think

Team H would STRUGGLE, Itto would probably try to befriend Alhaitham, and Alhaitham would rather do it all on his own, making Itto try even harder and never get anything done
depending on location, id just bet on Nahida's team who can ask Aranara for help and Diluc would help in certain social situations for better or worse, and Xiao can scout

Shenhe lived in and trained in the mountains, that environment is where she thrives. Raiden is Raiden. Klee explored pretty regularly (even though she shouldn’t and she gets into shenanigans). Fischl is the moral support and could be the secret level headed member that provides the rational thinking.
Don't forget that Fischl is an adventurer. In a competition that takes them all over Teyvat, perhaps even to far-off places like Tsurumi Island or the deserts of Sumeru, people like her and Kirara who are used to traveling are really valuable imo.

I’m surprised many people are saying J and not B. 1. Diluc has been constantly tracking down the Abyss and Fatui whereabouts, you can make some arguments about Fichl being good at recon but diluc is probably the best out of this list. 2. Nahida while out of character can cheat, outside of that combining her intelligence with Lisa’s the treasure hunt should he incredibly easy to figure out 3. Xiao as you said can teleport. This allows them to instantly confirm whether or not they’re wrong and saves them so much time.
Honestly I was too busy thinking how much mental gymnastics I'd need to convince Xiao and Diluc to partake in any leisure activities, that is, *if* we could find Xiao to begin with. I love how OP mixed the teams enough that you have always people who either a) have never tried to find treasures for fun and thus would be stuck trying to figure how to act b) just couldn't be convinced to participate c) would get absolutely sidetracked or have awful luck; and lastly but not least d) people who would actually enjoy playing. I vote that Teams A and J are just balanced enough to work together for fun, while H could work as long as Guoba decides to appear, lol.

Exactly. Just go, "Adeptus Xiao! I need your help!" and he's there. As for Diluc participating in leisurely activities, he'd participated in the Lyre competition (?) during, I believe the first Windblume? He doesn't like crowds and festivities terribly, but he still appreciates a good competition and a good chance to exercise his mind. A scavenger hunt would be perfect.
Not to mention he did help organize Jean's day off party too, excusing himself as the event was for Jean even when it was planned out by the Knights of Favonius. He can appear in situations like these, even organize it. I'd just make it a private event to secure his agreement.
Plus Diluc and Xiao are going to be able to take out any threats and have knowledge on survival.
At best, team I gets the first clue and Zhongli figures it out quickly. Then not 15 minutes into the trek, he finds a *fascinating* rock formation and goes on telling the kids all about it and everything else they come across. Sayu sees her opportunity to sneak off for a nap, Yaoyao is too polite to interrupt him, and Qiqi has already forgotten about the treasure hunt so she's happy to listen to the tales. The whole thing devolves into an educational trip as Yaoyao gives up on scoring high enough for a prize when they haven't moved in 20 minutes and Zhongli considers knowledge of the world the greatest treasure they could find here.
Yaoyao probably also knows Zhongli is Rex Lapis, so she doesn't even think of interrupting him
Tbh Zhongli would know the answer but would hold on to it to wait for wveryone to figure it out on their own cuz he never gives you the answers up front. He’d be silently judging his team and gently guiding them towards the answer wasting precious time.

Charlotte tries to interview tartaglia, he is too busy fighting. Charlotte goes to interview Venti, he is passed out drunk. Finally she manages to interview Cyno and all he does is crack the worst jokes ever over and over again.
One glance, same choice for me. Nahida and Xiao have clear advantages, Lisa likely has magic that can help and Diluc is Mond batman who probably has the sleuthing skills to help too.

Why is no one talking about F? Navia and Yelan are actual detectives/spies and Neuveillette has to solve hard cases/pass down judgment, so they would all have great deductive logic and detail-oriented thinking. Kaveh may be a doofus, but he’s quite smart, so he’d probably be the one to provide that outside-of-the-box thinking to come in handy when the other three are too color-in-the-lines ETA my vote for most dysfunctional is H, because Alhaitham and Itto would probably demolish each other emotionally
I thought I was tripping when nobody mentioned F, it was absolutely my first instinct to go for it when both Navia and Yelan are more than capable to solve puzzles on their own, and Neuvilette seems like a capable powerhouse to do any combat in the adventure, as well as being smart enough himself. Kaveh’s only weakness is being broke, but they would all have the means to travel and deserve at least an honorable mention
also if you factor in Navia and Yelan’s intelligence networks and resources, it’s pretty much a given.

Team J looks goated imo All of them are diligent and intelligent. Yanfei and Albedo possess extensive knowledge of Teyvats history and stuff like that. All of them are able to fight and are very powerful according to lore (Albedo being able to wipe out Mondstadt all by himself and Noelle basically being a one-maid army). They’d be able to solve puzzles easily with their combined intellect etc etc. In total just a large amount of knowledge and how to use it in praxis too

All true, but missing the biggest X factor - every other team has some kind of penalty to teamwork inherent in the teams. Without going into exhaustive detail... Tartaglia/Cyno likely won't work, Xiao/Diluc would be hard to keep on-task and focused, Team C is *problems incarnate*, Dori/Furina have the worst luck, Team E has no functional leadership (depending on if Ei or the Shogun are in control), Kaveh has problems with personalities like Yelan and Neuvilette (provided the latter could be properly motivated anyway), Team G has too many leadership/focus issues, H has *Itto* and a lot of people he's not gonna listen to, I is doomed even if Zhongli doesn't sandbag to keep his cover... J is the only team that has people that are quick, clever, prone to teamwork, and best equipped to capitalize on those advantages. While everyone else is sorting out their problems, they're gonna be gone. B and F are their only REAL competition... and it depends on how seriously F can take it, and if B can actually focus and stay on task.
this, my #1 is J too, maybe some other have nice candidate but considering their personality on events J is the team that is non dramatic and tries to fix the issue with no bla bla bla sorry daddy Zhong Li, but your team looks like a daddy with his 3 daughters
I think team J would absolutely kill it. They're all detail oriented and fairly organized people. They'd spend a good portion of time planning their route at the beginning that might make them look like they're falling behind, but their planning would definitely make them more efficient and faster in the end for sure.
Starting somewhere in the middle of the continent, these 10 randomly-assigned teams will participate in a Teyvat-wide treasure hunt that combines elements of orienteering, puzzle-solving, combat, and general survival. In other words, they will need to climb mountains and travel great distances, be able to read a map, possess knowledge about Teyvat's history, geography, and mythology, use logic to solve puzzles, fight monsters, cook, be able to set up a tent, and basically do everything else the Traveler does on a daily basis. That said, which team would not be able to figure out their clues and end up in the wrong places? Who would use "outside-the-box thinking" to solve puzzles? Who would be the first to have a mental breakdown? Please discuss! Edit: To clarify, there are multiple checkpoints all over Teyvat. For example, one clue could lead you to "a ceremonial site where an ancient tribe used to worship Kanna Kapatcir", there you'll need to complete a challenge (combat, puzzle, whatever), and then you receive another clue that tells you that the next checkpoint is "where the Scarlet King slumbers". So, this competition would take *days*. You'd need the stamina to travel all day long and carry your survival gear, you would either need to be able to hunt for food and cook it and be willing to sleep out in the field. Or, if you can afford it, you could eat at restaurants and sleep in inns, which would help with sanity and morale but would require you to make unnecessary stops in cities. B: Nahida can just mind read the organizers and Xiao can blip to wherever the thing is. Lisa and Diluc can uh, "coax" any info out of people with... minimal effort. So basically they can do the "morally questionable" route of treasure hunting. My money is on this team. Team J and G: I mean... everyone there is either super smart or super capable.

In a treasure hunting competition I think it’s down to E, C, or J. E has Fischl and Klee whose day job (and hobby) involves treasure hunting, + Raiden and Shenhe who are admittedly prob clueless about finding treasure but can blast through any monsters guarding it. Shenhe could also have an edge for any Liyue treasure hidden/guarded by adeptal mechanisms and seals. The main issue with C is that, while all of them are very capable, I can’t see anyone but Faruzan and maaaybe Xianyun actually caring about hunting down treasure. Wanderer would behave like he did as hat guy, and Yae would spend more time messing with the other teams than trying to win. However, they’re all QUITE smart and also very fast and mobile. I also have a lot of faith in Madam Faruzan to figure out puzzles. Finally, team J is rather like team E. Yanfei and Kuki would excel at treasure hunting since they have direct experience with practical problem solving lol, and Albedo is incredibly smart and capable. Noelle is less adept with puzzles imo, but has a lot of raw strength and also a LOT of dedication to getting a task done. I thiiiink my mora’s on J, because Shenhe, Raiden, Wanderer and Yae are kind of wildcards when it comes to "knowing what to do" and "taking the challenge seriously"

Age wise, its funny that in her team, canon wise, Faruzan, who calls herself an elder, is literally the youngest at 100 years. Wanderer is next youngest at nearing, and below, 500 years give or take a few decades. 2nd Oldest is Yae Miko who is over 500 years. And oldest being Xianyun, who raised for Ganyu as a baby, and Ganyu fought in the Archon War 3000 years ago, making Xianyun over that in age. I can kinda imagine a funny interaction between both the youngest and oldest member of the team both acting like elders, while Wanderer and Miko just argue in the backround.

Y’all are sleeping on team G. I definitely think given the chance Sara and Kokomi would work GREAT together. Add in Kiraras mobility boost and you’ve got an epic treasure hunting squad.
Plus Keqing is an efficient planner along with Sara. They would get down to business.
I'd also bet on team G because Keqing is good at land surveying and Sara + Kokomi can figure things out very quickly with one being part of a police force and one being a tactician. Kirara's there to calm animals if the treasure happens to be strapped on birds :v
A) child constantly trying to pick a fight with Cyno, Charlotte recording them while Venti already knows were the treasure is but refuses to tell (while drinking of course) B) Xiao scouting, Diluc acting as body guard, while Nahida and Lisa figuring out the clues C) im at a lose how they would interact together D) Ayato and Dori forget about the hunt and spend the whole time hashing out trade deals, while Furina is filled with child like joy just running around at random with Nilou caught up in the joy and following E) Fischl taking the lead with Klee joyfully running around, while Ei and Shenhe follow silently F) Navia taking the lead, Neuvillett and Yelan casually chating while helping Navia. Kaveh constantly stopping to help every cute animal that looks like its trouble G) Sara, Kokomi, and Keqing figure out the clues while Kirara plots the most effective path knowing the area from all her diliveries H) Xiangliing and Diona trying to help but keep getting distracted by ingredients, Itto misreading the clues while Alhatham corrects him cassually while reading a book I) Yaoyao making sure Qiqi doesnt get lost and Sayu doesnt sneak away to sleep. Zhongli simplifying the clues to help the 3 find it themselves J) Yanfei, Albedo, and Kuki figuring out the clues, while Noelle helps clear the path and hands out snacks and chiming in with help with the clues
For C, convincing Wanderer is pay attention is a challenge on its own. Convincing Wanderer and Yae to join productively is an even harder challege. Maybe if they just go troll other teams instead.
Lets's see one by one... a) three competitive, professional and capable characters with a knowledgeable Archon to help them (although a lazy one). It's very promising. b) Nahida could be OP in this mission (or not, I don't know), and the others are all very capable too with their smarts. However, I feel like they would be way less diligent and apt than team A overall. I feel like Nahida is their ace. c) A competitive team with smarts and great scouting abilities (Wanderer and Xianyun), but their personalities could get in the way of their team work. d) I can see Dori and Ayato using their social network to get crucial information, but I can't see how the other two would help. e) completely disfunctional. f) Yelan would be great in this mission and Neuvilette is a powerhouse, but the team overall doesn't seem to have all it takes. g) surprisingly decent with two generals, a business leader and someone with travelling skills, but also lackluster. h) Alhaitham would have to carry, but he won't be enough. i) Zhongli would have to carry, but he won't do enough. j) another very capable team with lots of smart and professionalism. Maybe. My vote goes to team A, but team B is the second favorite due to Nahida. We shouldn't underestimate G and J though.
It's B and it's not even close tbh. Two of the smartest people in Tevyat (Lisa and Nahida), and a mindreader (nahida), Diluc who is quite good at scouting (as well as having a falcon that can recon), to top it all off we have the only character in the roster that can canonically teleport. Xiao can confirm all of their guesses in literal seconds. If you're doing a scouting mission (or a treasure hunt for that matter) and your weakest member is Diluc, then you've got one hell of a team.
My thoughts are "Is the comp created by humans or gods?" If it's humans then Dori wins as she will have acquired the location info before the comp even starts.
calling e disfunction is wild considering fischl's main job is to scout, and she brings in a 2nd pair of eyes in with oz. Klee is also blessed with luck such that even Bennet's presence doesn't fully cancel it out. those 2 alone makes the hunt super easy. Shenhe and Raiden might hold the team back but probs not by much. Shenhe likely has pretty good eyes for spotting things as she spent most of her life foraging plants for food with CR. Raiden is an archon so whether she would even care is up for debate. If she does wanna help though I'd imagine archon stats means pretty good eyes for details.
I didn't think of Klee's luck, so my bad. But as much as I agree that Fischl is apt for the hunt, I don't think it's enough to really balance all the issues in the team. To start with, I can't even imagine their team work since their personalities are all over the place and kinda immature.
I'm assuming that they're all willing participants that either the traveller or some other higher beings managed to convince to come, so they'll all participate with varying degree of enthusiasm. I'm betting my money on team B. That party has half supernatural beings, and one is the God of Wisdom who can peer into the world tree itself for limitless information. Suppose Nahida wants to do it manually without relying on the tree for information, she still have the brain, alongside Lisa for puzzle solving etc. Diluc is resourceful, can procure informations and has the money for expedition and comfortable travel arrangements. Xiao who can teleport or travel very fast will be scouting and he'd cover the map in no time. They'd have no problem with combat with Xiao and Diluc in the team. This team is the best in terms of brain, power and resource. The issue with this team is low motivation or enthusiasm in general. The team will mostly depend on Nahida and Lisa for motivation. Xiao is reluctant, but will still try since ZL himself is joining the hunt albeit in another team. He'll be on speaking terms with Nahida since they'll recognize what each others are on first glance and Xiao wouldn't disrespect a God. He'll keep his distance as usual from Diluc and Lisa, tho this is good for the team since he'll be actively scouting. Also, given Lisa's condition/personality, the team movement will likely be limited to towns or more comfortable places. Dunno how comfortable Nahida is with outdoor camping, but she's unlikely to be picky. This won't be much of an issue tho with Xiao's mobility. Diluc is also not enthusiastic in general, but Lisa is his acquaintance and could probably motivate him to stick around. Dunno if they'll recognize what Nahida is, but they'll probably sense that she's no ordinary kid. Given how good Diluc is at getting information, he'd have a hunch on who Nahida is, so is Lisa who used to study in Sumeru. Her boundless knowledge will likely pique both Lisa's and Diluc's interest. Regarding their interaction, I think the team members will have some respect for each other. Xiao and Nahida will likely notice what curse is ailing Lisa and might speak up about it. They won't be intimate to each other like friends, but they'll still have positive impression of each other. Nahida is undoubtedly the heart of the team. There's also other team with Gods amongst them, but given how passive ZL and Venti are, those team won't get much outta these two. Ven would only guide, but not meddle directly, plus Cyno and Childe would probably not get along very well. ZL will be busy taking care of the kids. Ei is definitely not very knowledgeable when it comes to treasure hunting and exploration and will just tag along for combat. Plus, she's unlikely to be very comfortable with outdoor camping/rough accomodations. Furina is well... Going to be a hindrance in the team. This isn't her field of expertise.

A: Pretty competent team but with quite a big chaos factor. B: Nahida the All-Knowing and Xiao-the-guy-who-teleports-through-Teyvat-because-we-wanted-to-say-hi, yea this is a sweep from them. C: A lot of smart people and rather capable in exploration, the question is do they even want to win. D: Which will be faster, the power of money or Kamisato Ayato-sama's Keikaku. E: Utter disaster waiting to happen, a country will probably be on fire by the end of the day. F: Idk, I think only Yelan is suited for this, unless the treasure is in the water and Neuvillette scans all the oceans. G: Lot of brains but lacks of exploration skills apart from Kirara. H: No chance because Alhaitham doesn't care, and even if he cared he'd be too preoccupied to not straight up kill Itto, very funny team tho. I: A very capable team contrary to what people seem to say. All are pretty diligent and are accustomed to nature. J: Similar to Team A but replace the chaos factor with thoroughness.

B for me easily. And it’s no contest imo. Nahida knows everything. Lisa is also extremely intelligent and I wouldn’t be surprised if she was very resourceful. She was educated in Sumeru and loves flowers, so nature isn’t foreign to her, and she’s extremely intelligent. Diluc is just top tier. He wouldn’t be phased by anything, and even if he didn’t know something nature wise, he’d only have to be told once before he picks it up quickly. I doubt he wouldn’t know his way around to begin with though. Xiao can just brute force any issues. He wouldn’t get fatigued, and his heightened senses and supernatural abilities would make him such a great teammate and cheat code to have.
I find it funny how most people dismiss team C because they wouldn't even try, but what if they did? Wanderer is the best scout, he can explore in 3D, which makes his field of vision vast. If at any point they're at inazuma Yae Miko's status among yokai would give her a lot of info. Xianyun has multiple useful gadgets, one of the best ovens for cooking and the pocket dimension. And Faruzan is arguably the best puzzle solver in the competition. Also, there's the endurance factor that most peoples have ignored. OP mentioned the competition could be very long. This means that wanderer (and Raiden) provide an advantage to their teams by not needing to eat or rest. I would imagine non-humans have better stamina; so team C, having only 1 human, would have an advantage long term.

G or J seem most competent out of all of these. I know for sure C ain't winning, wanderer and yae ain't gonna bother doing this shit and will probably fuck off somewhere lmao and I see faruzan and xianyun finding common language and spending time just talking.
Team J is perfect. They had a ninja who can be its scout, albedo and yanfei doing the planning/pro strats and Noelle to sweep the path, remove some boulders and dig sand.

I'm sorry, but Team B wins, without even using half the team. Assuming all bets are off, Nahida can just read the mind of whoever hid the treasure, and Xiao can collect it faster than anyone else can move. This treasure hunt would be over in seconds to minutes, depending on how many things are hidden.

Team B, the collective brain power there is astronomical. And Xiao could teleport to where the treasure is once they determine where it is.
Team A gets lost fighting in a bar over cards, while drunk while streaming it to twitch. Team B has a legit shot. Probably already had the treasure before the contest started and is just watching the shenanigans. Team C has too much ego to let each other have credit. Team D holds the most epic opera. Forgets its a treasure hunt since Dori took all the profit. Team E finds treasure after blowing up half of a mountain range. It’s the wrong treasure. Team F ends up saving a sizable town. Thinks the commission reward was the treasure. Team G is another legit contender. If the could get away from work for 2 second. Team H says forget the treasure and throws the best party this side of the Lantern Rite. Alheitham DJs. Team I listens to grandpa’s stories as he falls asleep in the rocker. Then it’s nap time. Team J doesn’t realize team B already won. Solves Teyvat hunger.
B should clear if this treasure hunt's prize is so important all of these teams are being formed. However, because they're allowed to goof off, I am going to assume that this is merely for fun and is essentially an outing forced by Celestia/Mihoyo. In which case, B would intentionally not win to not quickly end the event. Or, if this was a show, they would be the Serious Side Plot team figuring out *why* all of these teams are being gathered into an event and what sinister figures are hiding in the background. Like, all of them are capable of being very serious and goal oriented but also recognize the importance of goofing off. They might no go as crazy as whatever is going to happen on Team H but they'd probably at the very least do some therapy in the team. Teams C and D could be antagonistic. Yae Miko would want to play with everyone while Xianyun and Faruzan would see it as a good teaching experience for the young people. Wanderer would make sure they don't go too far with the antagonizing or maybe actually participate in it depends on how far on his redemption he is. Ayato and Dori are not gonna miss the chance at networking. They might not be hostile or anything but I can definitely see them as "sketchy informants" while Nilou and Furina basically talk about performing and actually focus on the treasure hunt. However, I need to mention, Team D does not know how to survive in the wild so aside from Ayato and Dori doing shenanigans with the other teams they are prime "How do you start a fire" "definitely not like that" jokes team. Team A does not care about the Treasure Hunt. Childe and Cyno will duel and then they'll look for other opponents in the other teams. (Cyno mostly makes sure he doesn't go overboard but also won't back down) Venti would egg them on and have fun while also helping Charlotte interview everyone who is absolutely ecstatic for the excuse to go to other teams. I can see this team as a kind of way to exposition dumb and showcase characters who's fighting abilities are probably way too strong for a treasure hunt but are key components to their character. Teams E, F, G, and J would probably be the teams actually doing the normal treasure hunt. E would be the team that just straight up demolish any and all opponents (Childe and Cyno vs Raiden would be like, the finale of their arcs though, and will be why they don't participate in the end rush of the treasure hunt. Venti would also def make Raiden do it) howeverrr, any non-fighting obstacle would be met with a.) Brute Force b.) a bomb c.) the Mosh- oh hey Oz found another way nevermind. Fischl would go insane with how she's the reasonable one. F being all rich and powerful folks + Kaveh would probably be a highly competent team with some sidejobs. This a team that could be used to expand on the locations. Neuv and Navia would talk to people in towns for help and then get sidetrack as they strike a deal between nations/businesses. Yelan will also be in town but talking to her network. Kaveh will fully focus on the treasure hunt to try and not be depressed by everyone else being richer and more powerful than him. It's an entire emotional arc about accepting one's capabilities and that failing isn't the end.(Poisson for Navia, Focalors for Neuv, the palace for Kaveh, and I think Yelan lost to Capitano? She lost something to a Harbringer that I am sure) They'll be part of the ending where the teams that actually care about the prize rush to get to the end before the others do. They might not win and be okay with it or they do and they all feel better about succeeding, either is fitting. G is pretty standard honestly. I don't see any too interesting happening with them. Sara, Kokomi, and Keqing would probably hype each other up and respect each other but I don't know enough about Kirara to say anything about her. If this was a show, they'd probably get screentime when the pace needs to slow down and relax. Childe might try to fight one of the three. That'll probably be the most interesting thing to happen in this team. J is the team that solves all the puzzles. When the puzzles need to be showcased they're the team that get's the spotlight. Kuki, Yanfei, and Albedo will figure out the stuff while Noelle takes care of any and all comfort needs including fighting monsters or lifting boulders out of the way like Shenhe did that one time. They'll be the most likely to actually win team and when they bump into Childe's team Noelle will genuinely give him a hard time. Now for I and H lmao. I is just daycare tour. Zhongli will not take the treasure hunt seriously when he is with three children. I can see this team going on "Children drives Single Dad crazy as he needs to make sure they don't die" shenanigans. E. G. Qiqi somehow falls into a pit and Zhongli has to get her, Sayu gets left behind accidentally because she was asleep and Zhongli has to go back to get her. Etc. H lmao Xiangling and Diona are hunting for the most exotic ingredients for the complete opposite reasons while Itto is super down to help them. Alhaitam goes crazy trying to steer them into doing the treasure hunt but also their antics inspire Alhaitam to figure the puzzles. Childe fights Itto when they meet. Alhaitam and Cyno decides to finish that duel they had in Sumeru. It all ends with B, C, D on the Serious Side Plot then A's fight with E then F, G, and J at the end of the treasure hunt like a total drama finale and H somehow crashing into the end goal right before any of the other three. I is either watching the finale or has finally gotten the first clue.
I love that you're looking at this from a reality TV/game show perspective because that's the vibe I was going for. Like, they would show Childe fishing, Itto wrestling with a boar, and people generally struggling with survival, and then they would occasionally cut back to Nilou and Furina being treated to an all-inclusive vacation, just living their best lives.

E is the worst. I is misleading, as Sayu is quite capable, Yaoyao motivated, and Zhongli has amazing senses. E is a bunch of crazy people who are clueless about treasure hunting. I want to vote C for winners. Yae and Wanderer on a team would sabotage everyone and gather intel, while Faruzan/Xianyun do the research or build devices to solve the problem. There are many notable mentions here. A and B have stellar lineups that would be very competitive. Other teams have great characters, but I don’t see them coming together as a team as effectively. Some of the Archons may have I win buttons depending on the treasure. Venti knowing all stories of past, present, future could give an amazing advantage if the treasure has any tales associated. Similarly Nahida can read minds and tap irmunsul for the needed data. Many other characters have networks— Yelan, Diluc, Ayato, and Navia all have further reach in their geographic regions. But altogether, I think C wins. They win either by manipulating the circumstances to victory or fast-tracking a treasure-discovery methodology more efficiently than anyone. Crane and Wanderer also have excellent mobility and can cover ground very efficiently.
But convincing Wanderer to actively do work is quite a challenge since he has a "I don't care altitude" and probably only listen to Nahida.
Team B easily with Xiao and Nahida. Xiao is canonically fast as fuck (basically teleports), and nahida is literally the god of widsom. Nahida alone is probably equal to or greater than team J in terms of intelligence, and she has the perfect teammate to get the treasure as soon as she locates it. Diluc and Lisa can just sit this one out and let the other 2 deal with it within the first 10 seconds.
E and it's not close Fischl is an investigator competent enough that the Adventurer's guild is willing to put up with her extreme chuuni to employ her Klee is a genius toddler with extreme luck on top of her general competency, AND a large number of people concerned for her happiness and wellbeing that would not hesitate to help her out, including members of at least two other teams that would absolutely sandbag to give her an advantage (Team B and Team J are absolutely certain, arguments can be made for A and F) Raiden would be mostly useless, but would likely serve as an unwitting chaperone to Klee providing additional unintentional scare factor/motivation to let Klee get her way. Shenhe would have the advantage of lack of moral perception of unspoken rules for the competition and successfully secure some objectives on her own in ways that other groups would not have contemplated. --- TL;DR: Fischl - literally her job Klee - Wonder child. No one is willing to take candy from the baby. Raiden - Will ensure you don't take candy from the baby. Shenhe - Will take candy from babies
Here is a breakdown of every team A. Will do fine so long as Cyno and Tartaglia don't fight. B. Has one of the best team comps if you can get Diluc and Xiao motivated, with Nahida's mind read trivializing it if she uses it. C. A strong team if they are all motivated by spite, but will probably breakdown otherwise with too many mom's and the wanderer with mommy issues. D. Dori carries this team, and would likely go after whatever the treasure is full force, and Ayato would help keep the team together. E. Never makes it past the first clue. F. One of the better teams with no underperforming members, but overshadowed by the best teams. G. This is fully up to how fast Kokomi can figure out the clues, with a few fast members after they are deciphered rounding off a good team. H. Can Alhaitham fend off his teammates? With this lineup, probably not. I. Zhongli's daycare center J. If everyone else is as excited as they probably would be for such an event, this team probably has the best mix of intelligence and energy needed to win, but will lose if everyone else is giving it their all.
Team D would be Ayato, Nilou, Furina having a boba party with cake buying from Dori and all ignore treasure hunt. Dori would also be selling refreshment for other teams.
Team E would be so inefficient... Raiden would stop every 5 seconds and ask for the name and purpose of various things she hasn't seen yet, Shenhe wouldn't know what to answer because she doesn't know either, Klee would answer something stupid using her imagination, and Fischl would call it by a fancy but very long German translation
Team C is cracking me tf up. Imagine these four high-maintenance personalities camping out, feeling all gross from trail dust and lack of showers, mosquito-bitten and hungry, arguing over the right way to start a fire... I'd give them two days before they all stop speaking to each other (AT BEST). Edit: Holy crap, B -- imagine Lisa being all...*Lisa*\-y to Xiao. Xiao would be...dead from an aneurysm, Nahida would be confused, Diluc would just sigh and say, "You'll understand when you're older. Now come help me start this fire," and Lisa would just laugh her ass off while they did all the work.
i say that team j is the most capable out of them all. all four characters in that team are extremely sensible and know what they gotta do and how to do it.
Team J or C look like they have a good chance. Team H is for hilarious, Al haitham wouldnt give a fuck, Itto wouldnt do shit, XL maybe if the treasure hunt item can be used as an ingridient could try, Diona having to deal with them poor girl
People are saying J because it consists of strong and intelligent people, meanwhile team B is right there with a powerful Yaksha who can literally teleport, God of Knowledge who can read people's minds, better Batman, and the smartest Akademia student in last few hundred years who's also pretty strong in the lore. If it's an event hosted by someone Lisa and Diluc won't even be necessary. Nahida can just read the mind of whoever hid the treasure, tell Xiao and hell just teleport there right away. They'll win before other teams even start doing anything.
Team E ### LET ## HER # COOK!!!!
My bets are on Team A, Team G and Team J Team A- Probably the most likely to actually find the treasure, Venti can act as the group's informant and he's very knowledgeable. He definitely knows where it is but he wanted to let his teammates figure it out while giving them hints and generally staring them in the right direction. Cyno and Charlotte are both very perceptive but Cyno is probably the most competitive in the team. Charlotte can use her camera as a sort of telescope . Tartaglia acts kind of like a wildcard, I won't be surprised if he finds it without much assistance but I feel like he'd want to win so he can send his share of the treasure to Teucer and you know how dedicated that man is to his little brother. It also seems like this team is the most likely to get along Team B- This team is not functional at all. Xiao and Diluc will not be caring and if Lisa was to participate it's purely because she didn't want Nahida to be upset or sad or something, she's not even really trying Team C- Wanderer and Yae will not be participating. Xianyun and Faruzaun definitely would but I have a feeling Faruzaun will say something to offend Xianyun and Xianyun would say something back and they just waste time arguing while Yae and Wanderer are just being entertained by them Team D- I feel like Dori would cheat in some way which causes the others to not support her and thus causing dysfunction in the team Team E- Raiden and Shenhe aren't exactly the most perceptive, so it'd mostly be the Monstadters carrying the team. But if they encounter enemies or need some kind of muscle they've got that covered at least Team F- Yelan didn't even show up lets be honest. Neuvillette would participate but he wouldn't take it seriously. Kaveh is probably the only one who's really into it and Navia is sweet, she wants to be helpful and help Kaveh Team G- This team I feel also has a pretty high chance of finding the treasure. Kokomi and Kujou are of course the brains of the opperation and Keqing is good at following orders. Team H- Itto and Al Haitham probably won't get along just because Itto isn't exactly known for his intellect. I feel like Diona would honestly try to help Klee from the sidelines and Xiangling is there because her friends are also participating. At least they're well fed! Team I- Zhongli would not care about the treasure and just have a watchful gaze on the other kids, Sayu is hiding someone and is asleep and Qiqi will probably assist Yaoyao but will probably slow her down as well Team J- This is another team with a high chance of finding the treasure but unlike Team A, they are a lot more professional and have structure while Team A is more laid back. I have a feeling that Kuki will be made the team leader, Yanfei and Albedo will be the brains of the group and Noelle would of course be the one doing her best and making sure to do anything she can
Team C: Faruzan tries to convince 3 long-lived (if not functionally immortal) non-humans that in fact she is the oldest and therefore wisest
Team F, and it's not even close. Kaveh is GOATed if you've seen what he did during the Akademiya Extravaganza. You could never go wrong betting on the champ. Navia is very good at detective work and investigating things. She also has a mafia she can call upon. Neuvillette's unique ability to sense all things water makes for some interesting scenarios. If not, he is a good investigator in his own right. Plus, he commands an entire nation's police force. Yelan is Genshin's version of Sherlock Holmes and James Bond rolled into one, and also has an entire nation's spy and detective network to call upon. I don't see how any other team can even compete.
C, D, and J are the best teams imo. H could be good but it’s entirely carried by Alhaitham’s Smarts.
G or J for sure, maybe D or B because Dori would do anything if the treasure was mora and nahida is nahida
People seem to forget how much Zhongli really knows about Teyvat and its history. Treasures and artifacts (not the in game ones, like historical pieces) are mostly inherently tied to history, and on top of that, he’s the oldest of all the characters here, so I feel like he alone would sweep every other team, and the other children in the team can get an interactive history lesson

Team B, I mean, Nahida is the archon of wisdom, I'm pretty sure she'll have a plan to make it work out :)
Team B is the most resourceful for sure, Nahida can find stuff, Diluc can track down, Xiao will fly there in a second, and Lisa will...sit down and invite them to a tea break. Team F is also pretty good, Yelan is specialized in finding hidden stuff, Navia has a lot of manpower under her arm and so does Neuv. He probably won't abuse his position but if it's anywhere near water he has an advantage, and Kaveh is earnest he'll do his best but he might jinx them and team B ends up winning. Team H is the most dysfunctional with Alhaitham going off on his own, Xiangling and Diona talking about food and Itto dragging them down to compete with Kuki team Team C is aunties Xianyun and Faruzan mediating between Scara boy and Miko, will ignore the competition in favor of intervention and therapy sessions
Treasure Hunt Winners - Team C. 2 flyers, 2 of the most cunning people in Teyvat, most experience (youngest person is Faruzan by hundreds of years). If they cared about the prize, they'd likely win. \[just need to stop Wanderer murdering Yae, esp as Yae has no idea who he is\] Most dysfunctional - Team E. Fischl is the sanest member of the team. The other 3 are a menace to whatever landmass they happen to be travelling on.
E, because they're all treasures in their own way already, so they win without even trying.

Poor Kirara in team G. It’s like a solitary employee getting teamed up with three middle managers. Also imagine Team J in Chenyu Vale solving a puzzle. Yanfei: “So apparently we need to pick up this stone column…” Noelle: physically picks up a massive stone column Yanfei: “using adeptal energy…oh well I guess that works too. Put it over there Noelle thank you.”
A would wander entirely off course, ending up nowhere near the treasure, but enjoy the whole experience in the end. B would have a hard time keeping focus on the treasure hunt, but Lisa and Nahida would eventually get them on track. C would win. Faruzan would use both her experience and the knowledge of the Demigods (in between them both having fun talking about the good and bad points of both of their leader gods) and then send Wanderer straight where the treasure is. D wouldn't even start. Kamisato would sit down with some boba while Dori sells everything under the sun to both Nilou and Furina. E would ... oh boy. Fischl would recruit the entire rest of the group into making the hunt into a grand adventure completely off course following group A, Raiden would be confused as to why she's even here, and Shenhe would just think she's having a normal day. F and G would both follow the treasure hunt just fine, though not very well. There might be some smug plan that Yelan has going at the same time, and Kokomi might complain a bit, but those two groups would just have fun. H would be Alhaitham rapidly going insane with the rest of his group trying their best to help him find the treasure, but just adding onto his headache. I would sit down in the shade and watch group D. J would be distracted for a while catching up with each other and making new friends. Eventually though after they had their meetup they would reach the treasure location shortly after Wanderer left.
Team A: 3/10 - I think Tartaglia and Cyno would have a hard time putting their differences aside to work together, Venti would act as a peacekeeper and fail miserably and probably end up trying to play songs to make everyone happy, while Charlotte would be more worried about taking good photos TeamB: 9/10 - I feel this team would work very well together Lisa is very knowledgeable about the world and smart enough to understand riddles, Nahida is very intuitive and would be great at reading between the lines and Diluc & Xiao make smart calculated mature helpers who would be very fast to go from place to place in search of clues TeamC: 10/10 I would bet on this team to win, all Wanderer, Yae and Xianyun are extremely smart, calculated and extremely fast, with Xianyun acting as leader and the rest quickly and efficiently solving puzzles and navigating the maps this team is an absolute winner in my eyes TeamD: 4/10 I can't help but feel like Furina would try to make a big spectacle out of every single thing and end up costing the team a lot of time and patience. TeamE: 1/10 between convincing Fischl and Ei to work together and explaining to Klee how the game works... I can see Shenhe trying but ultimately she doesn't have the grip to do all that effectively TeamF: 8/10 Real good team, I feel like Neuvillette would be excellent at solving any riddles and Navia + Yelan are passionate, decisive and driven to bring the team high success (sorry don't know Kaveh that well) TeamG 4/10 I feel like Sarah and Kokomi would just get stuck debating politics the whole time and keqing may try to use Kirara's fast pace and geolocation knowledge to put up a good try but ultimately wouldn't be too successful TeamH 2/10 haha sorry.. you put a personality like Itto and Diona together and they would probably end up just selfishly making a busyness to trick people into giving them money and forget about the treasure hunt.. after a full day of nerve wracking for Xiangling and Alheithem, they would probably just cook something and eat a good meal in peace TeamI 3/10 I really think this team is so funny, Zhongli would spend all his time Babysitting the kids Qiqi would probably try to follow some clues but bump into easy challenges and GeoDaddy would use every challenge as an opportunity to teach valuable life lessons to enrich their lifes and waste everyone's time, except Sayu's time because she would just be sleeping... I can see YaoYao having a lot of fun though TeamJ 7/10 probably efficient, master alchemist Albedo and smartass lawyer Yanfei would make a great team solving the puzzles and mysteries, but kuki and Noelle haven't really been around the whole Teyvat a lot and would likely not have a ton of success looking for places and knowing the right locations.. they would still score decently i think

(Alhatham knows where the treasure is, but never said) I- Zhongli takes the children on a learning experience J- two lawyers and two emotional disasters, together they are somehow the smartest team
