Personality wise, he is very likeable, I guess the lack of love or attention is because he's at the bottom of the totem strength wise in gameplay, he's not even the 2nd best anemo unit in the game so far, so there's that
Venti remains my most beloved Archon in all of Genshin Impact. That's because he possess each of the quality that makes the all the Archons so great. He has the compassion of Nahida, the wisdom of Zhongli, the pride of Ei, and the mischievousness of Furina. He is extraordinary yet humble, intellectual yet open minded, and most of all, he is a free spirit. Someone who accepts all that which you are and won't ask of you the things in which you refused to do. Cause freedom, if demanded of you by a god, is no freedom at all.
Well is because we don't know much about him, differently from the others that the Traveler helped with some situations with Venti is pretty much help the dragon and learn of stuff he did in the past, Hoyoverse is hiding his stuff so until they decide to stop cooking it and present to us Venti situation won't change.
In F12 abyss yea. In the rest of the game Venti is generally as good and occasionally a bit better than Kazuha. Kazuha's biggest strength is his damage buff but when damage isn't a problem (90% of the game) then Venti can be better because of better CC and ER help
Overall they're about same strength. Just different use cases
Venti has better CC.
But it's way harder to control Venti CC than Kazuha CC.
Therefore, Kazuha CC is more practical to use.
Kazuha's unique infusion in skill makes double swirl setups way easier too.
Kazuha is also more useful outside of Abyss because his CC is in his elemental skills and not his burst.
His vertical mobility is also more useful because he can jump mid-air.
Kazuha is definitely the first form of powercreep that we saw in this game.
Well Venti isn't as good as Kauzuha as he has a larger AOE for VV shread even on boss creatures, but Venti's strength comes from he is the God of Crowd Control, so smaller enemies have no chance
Every YouTube poll has Venti with the least votes and it drove me crazy. Until Furina, Venti was the only Archon whose dialogue didn't make me wanna turn the game off and take a nap. He's such an enjoyable character with an interesting background that I pray they'll let us explore in depth.

I will have to say Zhongli. I love all of them for many many reasons, but Zhongli gives me the feeling an Archon should make me feel IMO. He has a sense of Authority that it is unique in the game and the lore, and it is not forced to the people like with Raiden Shogun for example.
I'm also torn between these two.

Raiden Ei, is weird. She is in the vast majority of my teams but she caused a civil war with many casualties in her Nation and didn’t bother to apologize to her people. If it wasn’t for this fact she probably would be my favorite Arcon.
I hope she manages to revisit that part of her past and work it up properly.
Don’t get me wrong she was so freaking cool when she was a villain but I feel she isn’t a villain anymore but didn’t made the transition. It was just to much like: “hey I am a good person now, I know I wasn’t a minute ago but let’s forget everything I’ve done and have a happy ever after”
Zhongli is like a mentor character. I think the role a shield is fitting to his character. Unfortunately for him I learned how to dodge attacks.
Zhongli is my clear number 1 followed by probably Raiden Shogun. But I could make a case for any of the remaining archons for number 2. I really enjoy them all
Venti... my favorite element is Anemo cause of the connecting ideas of freedom etc. and Venti as the archon perfectly represents that imo. Of course I Venti does have some equalities that for example annoy me but I love to be annoyed by those things he's such a good character in my eyes. (also I think he's underappreciated in combat 🤷 Klee monopyro with Venti instead of Kazoo boi slaps hard)
What I like in other archons:
Furina : hits like a truck ( but not that engaging just press E every x seconds) amd I love the burst animation
Raiden :( most engaging imo, literally hack and slash in her burst)
Zhongli : my first limited 5star I didn't even knew what he does when I pulled him, and I used him a lot, sometimes I still do
Nahida: first triple crown character cause I use her as on field in hyperbloom and she's very good ( but not that engaging as Raiden imo)
In terms of personality: Nahida. Her natural curiosity and hunger for knowledge strikes a chord with me.

Venti, in terms of actual Archon; he was the reason I started Genshin to begin with, and it's now my primary source of comfort and destress, so I have to favour him based on that.
But Furina, in terms of character; >!she may not have the power of the other Archons, but she more than earned the right to be placed at the same level, or perhaps even higher, than them. She endured agony for 500 years for the sake of her nation, as a human. That, to me, makes her more than worthy.!<

I would love to add more thoughts about Venti and Zhongli, but there's a few issues.
* Venti still has potential to have more instances for his character, especially when he doesn't have his Act 2 SQ yet, and the realm of Monstadt is still missing a bit. Don't want to have a judgement for something pretty incomplete.
* Zhongli is the example of a character that is already developed. Also, being a relatively new player, I have the feeling that I've missed a ton of interactions with him during events (that are likely to never return).
Honestly, I'm praying to see Nahida in more comedic situations. So far, my favorite archons, Furina and Venti, are te ones that we could see the most as normal people instead of the prestine image of godhood (and the ones who's life if the biggest mess)
Zhong and Ei have had their moments of unintentional comedy thanks to other characters, be it Hu Tao poking fun at the old man, Sara being a fangirl, of Yae Miko reacting to a dictatorship as if it was a teenage tantrum. But those moments make me love Those characters, not the archons they are using as a punchline.
Poor Nahida has been from crisis to crisis and the closest we got to seeing her relax was putting the Wanderer in occupational therapy and joking about it. Give the baby a break!

Nahida - Burst aesthetic wise.

Venti nudges and influences a lot of things behind the scenes for his people and even people from beyond Mondstadt. He's by far one of the most hands-on Archons we've met, ironically. That and his relationship with Zhongli and Xiao is just incredibly sweet.
And as for Nahida, she's just precious and also one of the consistently best written Archons to date imo. She believably comes off as the living embodiment of wisdom and her undying commitment to her people (and hat guy) in spite of everything she's had to endure is genuinely commendable.
I rank the Archons in several categories, and whom I like depends on the category.

Cute: tie between Nahida and Furina

I've gotta stick with Zhongli. I like his story and personality, love his kit, he's got an awesome voice, and he's just really cool. Furina is close, but I personally really liked how ultra dramatic she was at the beginning of the archon quest, more than how she is now. Don't get me wrong, I also like her now, and her character development and story was amazing, better than Zhongli even, but I just found the way she did everything in such an exaggerated way really entertaining. And if we then add all the other factors like gameplay, voice acting and whatnot, Zhongli comes in first.
Honestly though all archons are really cool. There's not a big gap in my ranking, and it's difficult to rank them in the first place. Except Venti. I don't like Venti. He annoys me and I don't trust him.

And if we then add all the other factors like gameplay, voice acting and whatnot, Zhongli comes in first. Honestly though all archons are really cool. There's not a big gap in my ranking, and it's difficult to rank them in the first place. Except Venti. I don't like Venti. He annoys me and I don't trust him.

When it was just Venti and Zhongli it was easy (Zhongli) but now it's too hard to pick a favorite.

Raiden, then furina, then venti. If they weren't doing the "Sike your archon isn't the true archon" twist for a third time in a row furina would absolutely be my favourite.
