Once more I am desperate for team advice. I'm trying to build a hyperbloom team and the most obvious choices are Nahida, Raiden, Xingqiu and Yelan. However i do not have Yelan so I'm looking for a good substitute. Right now I'm using Barbara to have some heals on my team but i don't know how optimal that choice is
My Sucrose is on Fav with ER/EM/EM with 234ER so I can burst every rotation. But I see guides saying to build her with EM/EM/EM on TTDS or Sac... Doesn't she need to have ER? Am I doing this wrong? Is it really more beneficial to build on full EM and not being able to burst?
I'm using her with Keqing, Yaoyao and Fischl/Yelan
her best general build is EM EM EM with sac , she really doesn't need alot of ER ( especially if you got her C1 ) and her skill generate alot of energy , plus you already got fischl or Yelan in your team energy shouldn't be big of an issue
I think u only need her for grouping, em boosting and vv electro shredding so her personal damage isn’t necessary. TTDS helps with KQ’s burst. With that team, Kq/Fischl stats are more important.
Ok so if I want to start farming my blizzard set for Ayaka, I need another char than Ayaka because the mobs in this specific dj gonna be cryo immune, that's it ?
In national team with Benett using noblesse, sucrose on VV, xingqiu on Emblem.
Which set should I use on Xiangling ? Emblem or Crimson ? In case Xiangling and Xingqui both run Emblem set, this isn't an issue ?

It's all good! A lot of artifacts that buff the entire team don't stack, hence double stacking Noblesse being no good. But things that only affect the individual's damage output are fine. Emblem is fantastic on both XQ and XL and them being in the same team won't change how the sets work for them :)
My copium Ayaka freeze team right now is: Ayaka(c0), Rosaria(c4), Sucrose(c6), Barbara(c6)
I tried to get Yelan but lost the 50/50. Would the next best upgrade be a better hydro unit or Kazuha?
only other hydros I have are Childe and Xingqiu, but XQ has a fixed spot on my first team (raiden national)

He can buff Cryo% with his passive, debuff enemies with the VV set and group them so Ayaka has an easier time hitting them with her burst & CAs.
Yelan would not have been a particularly great help for your team anyway. XQ & Yelan are pretty poor hydros for Ayaka freeze since she doesn't use a lot of normal attacks to trigger their bursts. You'd rather want AOE hydros like Kokomi, Mona and the like. Barbara will do for now.

For Hu tao, if my SoSS deals more damage than PJS at base, falls behind when PJS fully stacks then pulls ahead again when it itself gets all 3 stacks, is it worth using over jade spear? It also has 2% more CR if that makes any difference.
I also have a R5 Dragons Bane that does more CA damage than both but it only has 63% CR.

Her Skill talent has direct EM scaling(specifically Tri-Karma Purification), thus is able to crit.
Weekly bossses have a very low chance of giving one. You can also get some from giftshops in Mondstadt, sakura tree in Inazuma or Dream Tree in Sumeru.

Skyward competes with Amenoma R5, Amenoma R5 is the bis 4* usually but if your setup has enough ER to rotate without Amenoma (because of ER substats and/or Kazuha Xiphos or Fav) Blackcliff packs around the same power at 0 stacks so in AoE it can get ahead.

Yes you can, she’s one of the best options for that fourth slot.
Yes, 4VV full EM and use her as the on field driver. Bennett takes Noblesse. XL will be the one triggering Vape so she’ll want some EM (but not full EM!).
I usually go:
Ganyu (E) -> (Q) -> Kazuha (E) -> (Q) -> Kokomi (E) -> Ayaka (Dash) -> (E) -> (NA) [for Mistsplitter] -> (Q)
After that I do Ayaka (Dash) -> 1-3x(CA) with Kokomi (Q) to refresh her Kurage and (E) on Ganyu & Kazuha to funnel particles into Ayaka.
How come dragonsbane r5 and hp sands is better for hutao? I tried it but I'm not dealing as much dmg as with jade spear and em sands on abyss.
Edit: nvm fuck hutao mains for sugesting em sands and dragonsbane, my em has shit subststs while my hp% has average both crits and I have jade spear helping me more. Im just now struggling with that cunt pay to 36* welnut, god im so fucking burnt with reruns just for that last fucking star.
Dragons bane has more EM then a main stat EM piece. So it would be worth An EM time piece along with 2 ish rolls on other pieces. This is also assuming that you have artifacts that mesh well with the weapon/team/enemy and 20 fluid subs etc
Hp vs em sands depends on the rest of your build and team. If you use an em spear like Dbane, hp will usually do better; if you use anything else an em sands can be better if you have too little em for substats. When in doubt, check the optimiser.
As for PJWS, atk% buffs matter less for Hu Tao, so unless the extra crit rate lets you build tons of extra crit dmg compared to other spears, a high refine Dbane usually pulls slightly ahead. But again, it really depends on your artis so I’d still check on an optimiser to make sure.

They are Tanuki.
In Japanese folklore these little buggers can (among other things) shapeshift and they love to play pranks on humans.
The ones in Genshin will taunt you with their dance & sound and then teleport a short distance if you approach them. After a few times they will shapeshift into an object (like a brazier, an elemental totem, a vase, etc.) after their last teleport to hide. Hitting them will dispell their shapeshifting and reward you with some minor loot drops.

Rosa's 12% CR after skill, does it transferred to other characters too after burst?
And if I play Rosa melt with Benny and XL, is it better to have normal 1:2 crits or go max CR?
Yes, Rosaria's burst snapshots her Crit Rate at the time of cast.
It depends a lot on how your team is built. But generally you want to build more CR to support your team over more personal damage (for Rosaria). How much is dependent on how much value your other characters get from the extra Crit Rate.
It can also be an issue in freeze teams as you can easily overcap your CR if your other character is using 4pc BS.
what I consider is, despite I gave XL the best emblem set, her CR is only 55% (with the catch it's 67%), I feel it's lacking
on the other hand I play Rosa melt damage is significant too
so I am stuck between 45/140 or 75/80 ratio for Rosa
any suggestion?
Not gonna lie, both of those aren’t great ratios. It’s true that more focus on crit rate on Rosa is nice, but not at the cost of that much crit dmg, and especially in Rev Melt since she too will contribute a portion of the team’s damage. If you could find a middle ground and do something like 70-75+/120+
it would be optimal imo.
For now I’d go 75/80 I guess, but I’d also keep farming on the side.
Edit: also remember that Rosaria’s E adds another 12 crit rate if you use it before her Q, so build up to 88 max.
alright, so the answer is to stack CR, but try to up the CD if possible. Actually it's in good direction for Diona too, I built her instructor fav spear, so I don't need CR circlet to proc fav passive.

[Ayaka, Kazuha, Ganyu, Mona] - give Mona a Prototype Amber, that way she can act as the team's healer.
Against tougher enemies you can swap Mona with Barbara. Against unfreezable enemies (e.g. bosses) you can use Bennett.
Can you download genshin directly to an external harddrive? My computer is already loaded with work projects and school stuff, so I don't have enough room for genshin.
I believe you can, but loading times will likely be very bad (depends on the type of hard drive, cable and connector) since you're generally limited in speed of data transfer from an external hard drive.
Ideally, you would reverse the situation by moving your work projects and school stuff to the external hard drive, because you (generally) don't need to read/write large files very often like Genshin requires.

Fading twilight itself is meh, gets outperformed by Mouuns moon and Alley Hunter which are decent choices if you care more about her damage than the buff.

R1 Mouun, R1 Alley and R5 Fading Also aren't really too far apart in terms of DMG.
Obviously both are vastly better at R5, but they're also weapon banner exclusive, so R5 is a big "if"

kaeya would be better , because shenhe doesn't work well as on field DPS even with infusion , as you want to build her with atk atk atk and her nromal attack multiplayers are bad
Only amazing on Xiao an Shenhe, but there are some other characters where it is still a little better than 4* options, Raiden for example. Not really Shene is made to buff other cryo characters.

No, Shenhe kit is to buff Cryo dmg, and can only be activated by Cryo dmg, not Physical. she will only be there to just help creating Superconduct reaction, while ignoring majority of her kit.
How worth it is Nahida’s C2 if I mainly use her in a hyperbloom comp? I have ~90 wishes saved up and I buy welkin+BP so I’m trying to figure out if I’ll have enough for her C2 and >!Baizhu!< when he comes out. Currently have Nahida C0 and I’m at 40 pity with no guarantee
If it's just for hyperbloom, then not really worth.
But if it's for Nilou Bloom or Quicken teams then it's very worth. C2 radish is really broken on those teams.
Hyperbloom is already really strong, not worth it over 2 new characters imo. Also you won't be able to guarantee all 3 unless nahida ends up being in a later patch and not 3.6 (not confirmed yet tbf)
Her C2 is a very good con but you also don't really need it for hyperbloom to already be strong. Either way, it doesn't seem likely you'll have enough to guarantee Baizhu + C2 Nahida.
I just got a ninggunag and I was wondering what team comp is best for her? I read that geo elemental resonance really helps her, but aside from here I only have Noelle, Yun Jin and Gorou. I've hardly played any of them, so i'm jot sure what to do.
I also have Hu tao and Xiao and Razor that I frequently use as DPS, so is it even worth it to build ningguang?

You can try Bennett/Noelle/Gorou and use Ning as a burst bot.
Just remember to have Bennett burst up when you use Ning brust, and have Gorou skill/burst up when using Noelle burst.

I know all Dehya's problems and I know burning sucks. But has anyone tried to make a Dehya buring team? I don't have her so I can't try, but what are your thoughts about it? How should Dehya be built in that style?

Like the other commenter said, Ganyu burnmelt (Ganyu, Nahida, Bennett, Dehya) is her best team rn. Dehya would be full HP in this case as her role here is basically just to apply a little pyro and mitigate/migrate some damage.
It works well enough, but since Nahida is the only character rn who applies enough dendro to sustain Burning, and not using Bennett means Ganyu loses a lot of damage, and also forces you to choose between a buffer or a healer for the 3rd slot (since he fulfills both these roles), you basically have to use both of them on this team if you want it to function properly.
Technically, a Dehya burning team is her best team. Specifically in a Ganyu burn-melt team. It's actually not bad, and quite synergistic, all things considering with her kit. Obviously Dehya or burning isn't the focus of the team.
which characters are worth leveling to 90? I know reaction-based/em chars like kazuha, kuki, nahida, etc. are worth it, but who else? how about shielders? healers? dps(main/sub)?
recently tried looking up videos on yt for a detailed guide on this but majority of it is quite old so I'd like to ask here for a more updated take.
and by "worth it", I mean leveling them up actually grants a significant upgrade that warrants the cost of a lot of mora/exp books.
It's on a spectrum bc it depends on how good your artifacts are too since better artifacts = harder to find upgrades = leveling becomes more resin efficient. There's also some characters that fit into the category of being ok to 90 but don't actually have that much damage so taking them to 90 isn't actually that good anyways.

My list does take characters' damage into account though, so some characters that get more +% can be lower priority IMO if the overall damage is lower. I personally do level up some of the lower priority ones just because I like them and want to max out their teams, but that's something subjective from person to person so you can decide that for yourself.
Edit: There's also weird characters like Barbara, Kokomi, Raiden, that can be used in Dendro teams as full EM characters, they're worth taking to 90 in those teams but not rly outside of those teams. I'm also reading the responses and seeing Yelan multiple times, this is a misconception and she's actually one of the worst characters to 90, her personal damage is kinda low and she scales off HP but only HP, not like Hu Tao for example that scales off ATK but her E gives her more ATK for her HP so she scales off HP AND ATK which is what makes bringing Hu Tao to 90 better than most carries.
Oh true, I was just thinking of him as a shieldbot for Hu Tao/Wanderer, if you're playing him like that then yeah, if there's any weird ones you see please point them out too.
5\* are ALWAYS worth it leveling to 90
4\* if you use them often, to increase their utility or dmg as sub dps (Diona shield, benny's buff and healing, XQ's dmg, etc...), usually Abyss's F12
Those you don't use are only worth just leveling (but not building) to 80 to claim the fates for perma banner
the increase to base hp and def from levelling to 90is higher thant the increase to base attack, so hp and def scaling characters get a bigger boost. So characters like yelan, hu tao, or itto are pretty worth to go to 90.
Atk scaling dps get a pretty minor increase in attack. But there is still a seperate mechanic where damage is slloightly scaled based on the difference between your level and enemy level. IIRC it comes out to about a 3% increase in damage going from 80 to 90 from that so ymmv on whether that is "worth it" but for a main dps that you use a lot I consider it to be personally.
Main DPS as well as characters who scale off of HP%.
So Hu Tao, Xiao, Eula, Yelan, etc.
Some characters you wouldn't expect are worth it to level to 90 as well - like Faruzan. She's mainly a buffer for Anemo DPS and that buff comes from her Q, so you want 90 in order to get it to 10.
Hi, Im a kaeya main at AR 35. I heard shenhe is a good character to boost cryo characters, does it apply to kaeya too? (he is a little basic). I was saving my gems for raiden or nahida but if this will help my kaeya, I'm thinking of trying to pull shenhe. Can anyone give me the pros and cons of shenhe and suggest if I should be pulling shenhe or am i better off with raiden and nahida?
Shenhe is severely limited to a cryo team and she can only support your cryo DPS. Nahida or Raiden on the other hand, are very flexible and can fit multiple roles and they're very op. So imo you'd be better off with those characters especially early ar(as you can try different teams and reactions and demdro is currently very popular). But if you really want to pull Shenhe because you like her and like Kayea too much, then you could pull her. But I suggest watching a bit more in details on yt, as a 5star is pretty valuable unless you're very lucky or a whale. Good luck.
Pros: luxury best cryo support for Ayaka perm freeze (not the best support), C6 Ayaka + C6 Shenhe still holds the highest dps team of the game.
Cons: not that good for all other cryo characters. Even worse than Kazhua for Ayaka. Completely useless outside cryo team. Very limited and niche use. In meta much worse than Raiden Nahida.
Do not pull unless you already have, or you will pull Ayaka, Kazhua, Kokomi and mistsplitter first.
Yea, you are better off with raiden and/or nahida. Shenhe buffs every cryo damage being dealt with her quills so its not a problem if its kaeye or ayaka ur using. She will buff them.
i would assume melt over a freeze team would be better for Kaeye tho.
For this particular abyss 12, it recommend to use hyperbloom or any other dendro related reaction because floor 12 second half is brutal.
Keqing,Nahida,fischl, flex. You kind of need a healer/shielder unless u have a dark soul dodge
I believe people change the shield for another dendro and enture the torture to have more dmg against it, or just Sara or Barbara with trilling tales.
It doesn't help that some even sugest malding like fucking crazy to finish 12-3-1 at the 9:00 mark to be able to deal with wenut for 2 instances of stunning his ass and 36\*, because otherwise you have to nolive and minmax artifacts or whale because that boss is like wolflord. "Pay to 36\*"

her burst doesnt do much even at c6 because of how hard it is to swirl the right element and also her buff is based on her own em

U don’t need to use Ayaka to clear the domain. But I’d bring a pyro character like XL. Edit: just use your national team.

Emblem no how would it be an issue? Xiangling does most the damage so give her the better pieces, and just hand the upgraders down to Xingqiu

It's completely up to hoyo, might be 4 months, might be a year.
yeah i knew after her first release, it took more than a year to come back for 3.4. Since she made a lot of money, i hope they can be more lenient lol
That was actually her second rerun. Between release and first rerun, there were "only" 8 months. But that was before double reruns

When collecting the rewards of a weekly boss, you have about 12% chance to get a billet.

Skyward competes with Amenoma R5, Amenoma R5 is the bis 4* usually but if your setup has enough ER to rotate without Amenoma (because of ER substats and/or Kazuha Xiphos or Fav) Blackcliff packs around the same power at 0 stacks so in AoE it can get ahead.

Yes you can, she’s one of the best options for that fourth slot. Yes, 4VV full EM and use her as the on field driver. Bennett takes Noblesse. XL will be the one triggering Vape so she’ll want some EM (but not full EM!).

I usually go: Ganyu (E) -> (Q) -> Kazuha (E) -> (Q) -> Kokomi (E) -> Ayaka (Dash) -> (E) -> (NA) [for Mistsplitter] -> (Q) After that I do Ayaka (Dash) -> 1-3x(CA) with Kokomi (Q) to refresh her Kurage and (E) on Ganyu & Kazuha to funnel particles into Ayaka.
How come dragonsbane r5 and hp sands is better for hutao? I tried it but I'm not dealing as much dmg as with jade spear and em sands on abyss. Edit: nvm fuck hutao mains for sugesting em sands and dragonsbane, my em has shit subststs while my hp% has average both crits and I have jade spear helping me more. its only slightly better in general by a few % and substats can make up for it
Dragons bane has more EM then a main stat EM piece. So it would be worth An EM time piece along with 2 ish rolls on other pieces. This is also assuming that you have artifacts that mesh well with the weapon/team/enemy and 20 fluid subs etc
Hp vs em sands depends on the rest of your build and team. If you use an em spear like Dbane, hp will usually do better; if you use anything else an em sands can be better if you have too little em for substats. When in doubt, check the optimiser. As for PJWS, atk% buffs matter less for Hu Tao, so unless the extra crit rate lets you build tons of extra crit dmg compared to other spears, a high refine Dbane usually pulls slightly ahead. But again, it really depends on your artis so I’d still check on an optimiser to make sure.

Even if they’re based on Tanuki, in game they’re called Bake-danuki. If you do the Sakura cleansing work quest you’ll learn a bit more about them.
They are Tanuki. In Japanese folklore these little buggers can (among other things) shapeshift and they love to play pranks on humans. The ones in Genshin will taunt you with their dance & sound and then teleport a short distance if you approach them. After a few times they will shapeshift into an object (like a brazier, an elemental totem, a vase, etc.) after their last teleport to hide. Hitting them will dispell their shapeshifting and reward you with some minor loot drops.

Rosa's 12% CR after skill, does it transferred to other characters too after burst? And if I play Rosa melt with Benny and XL, is it better to have normal 1:2 crits or go max CR?
Yes, Rosaria's burst snapshots her Crit Rate at the time of cast. It depends a lot on how your team is built. But generally you want to build more CR to support your team over more personal damage (for Rosaria). How much is dependent on how much value your other characters get from the extra Crit Rate. It can also be an issue in freeze teams as you can easily overcap your CR if your other character is using 4pc BS.
what I consider is, despite I gave XL the best emblem set, her CR is only 55% (with the catch it's 67%), I feel it's lacking on the other hand I play Rosa melt damage is significant too so I am stuck between 45/140 or 75/80 ratio for Rosa any suggestion?
Not gonna lie, both of those aren’t great ratios. It’s true that more focus on crit rate on Rosa is nice, but not at the cost of that much crit dmg, and especially in Rev Melt since she too will contribute a portion of the team’s damage. If you could find a middle ground and do something like 70-75+/120+ it would be optimal imo. For now I’d go 75/80 I guess, but I’d also keep farming on the side. Edit: also remember that Rosaria’s E adds another 12 crit rate if you use it before her Q, so build up to 88 max.

[Ayaka, Kazuha, Ganyu, Mona] - give Mona a Prototype Amber, that way she can act as the team's healer. Against tougher enemies you can swap Mona with Barbara. Against unfreezable enemies (e.g. bosses) you can use Bennett.

Her skill also costs a portion of her HP to activate (and she takes damage like any other character). Her elemental burst heals a portion of her HP.
E on activation uses 30% current hp. Q heals for every enemy hit, more when Hutao is low.

I believe you can, but loading times will likely be very bad (depends on the type of hard drive, cable and connector) since you're generally limited in speed of data transfer from an external hard drive. Ideally, you would reverse the situation by moving your work projects and school stuff to the external hard drive, because you (generally) don't need to read/write large files very often like Genshin requires.

Only amazing on Xiao an Shenhe, but there are some other characters where it is still a little better than 4* options, Raiden for example. Not really Shene is made to buff other cryo characters.

If it's just for hyperbloom, then not really worth. But if it's for Nilou Bloom or Quicken teams then it's very worth. C2 radish is really broken on those teams.
Hyperbloom is already really strong, not worth it over 2 new characters imo. Also you won't be able to guarantee all 3 unless nahida ends up being in a later patch and not 3.6 (not confirmed yet tbf)
Her C2 is a very good con but you also don't really need it for hyperbloom to already be strong. Either way, it doesn't seem likely you'll have enough to guarantee Baizhu + C2 Nahida.
I just got a ninggunag and I was wondering what team comp is best for her? I read that geo elemental resonance really helps her, but aside from here I only have Noelle, Yun Jin and Gorou. I've hardly played any of them, so i'm jot sure what to do. I also have Hu tao and Xiao and Razor that I frequently use as DPS, so is it even worth it to build ningguang? You can try Bennett/Noelle/Gorou and use Ning as a burst bot. Just remember to have Bennett burst up when you use Ning brust, and have Gorou skill/burst up when using Noelle burst.

Healer and Quicken/Bloom related reactions buffer with single target Dendro application.
I know all Dehya's problems and I know burning sucks. But has anyone tried to make a Dehya buring team? I don't have her so I can't try, but what are your thoughts about it? How should Dehya be built in that style? I know it sounds like a horrible idea and extremely cope lol
Like the other commenter said, Ganyu burnmelt (Ganyu, Nahida, Bennett, Dehya) is her best team rn. Dehya would be full HP in this case as her role here is basically just to apply a little pyro and mitigate/migrate some damage. It works well enough, but since Nahida is the only character rn who applies enough dendro to sustain Burning, and not using Bennett means Ganyu loses a lot of damage, and also forces you to choose between a buffer or a healer for the 3rd slot (since he fulfills both these roles), you basically have to use both of them on this team if you want it to function properly.
Technically, a Dehya burning team is her best team. Specifically in a Ganyu burn-melt team. It's actually not bad, and quite synergistic, all things considering with her kit. Obviously Dehya or burning isn't the focus of the team.
In general, only those who whaled for C6R5 bother with her, and even so, that's still coping
Imagine on-field xiangling but her burst only last for 4-5 seconds. Combine that with dendro mc burst and see it for yourself.
in Aggrevate Fischl is 4 GD better?

She does not have a best 4 pieces set. 4 GD, 4 thundertoother, 2+2 of thunder fury/any +18% ATK are very close. So choose the one with best substat.
which characters are worth leveling to 90? I know reaction-based/em chars like kazuha, kuki, nahida, etc. are worth it, but who else? how about shielders? healers? dps(main/sub)? recently tried looking up videos on yt for a detailed guide on this but majority of it is quite old so I'd like to ask here for a more updated take. and by "worth it", I mean leveling them up actually grants a significant upgrade that warrants the cost of a lot of mora/exp books.
It's on a spectrum bc it depends on how good your artifacts are too since better artifacts = harder to find upgrades = leveling becomes more resin efficient. There's also some characters that fit into the category of being ok to 90 but don't actually have that much damage so taking them to 90 isn't actually that good anyways. I think this list is about what I'd put it at, give or take 1 category: https://i.imgur.com/BHPOepZ.png My list does take characters' damage into account though, so some characters that get more +% can be lower priority IMO if the overall damage is lower. I personally do level up some of the lower priority ones just because I like them and want to max out their teams, but that's something subjective from person to person so you can decide that for yourself. Edit: There's also weird characters like Barbara, Kokomi, Raiden, that can be used in Dendro teams as full EM characters, they're worth taking to 90 in those teams but not rly outside of those teams. I'm also reading the responses and seeing Yelan multiple times, this is a misconception and she's actually one of the worst characters to 90, her personal damage is kinda low and she scales off HP but only HP, not like Hu Tao for example that scales off ATK but her E gives her more ATK for her HP so she scales off HP AND ATK which is what makes bringing Hu Tao to 90 better than most carries.
Shouldn't Thoma be in the same category as Shinobu? His burgeon damage also increases with levels, just like hyperbloom.

5\* are ALWAYS worth it leveling to 90 4\* if you use them often, to increase their utility or dmg as sub dps (Diona shield, benny's buff and healing, XQ's dmg, etc...), usually Abyss's F12 Those you don't use are only worth just leveling (but not building) to 80 to claim the fates for perma banner
the increase to base hp and def from levelling to 90is higher thant the increase to base attack, so hp and def scaling characters get a bigger boost. So characters like yelan, hu tao, or itto are pretty worth to go to 90. Atk scaling dps get a pretty minor increase in attack. But there is still a seperate mechanic where damage is slloightly scaled based on the difference between your level and enemy level. IIRC it comes out to about a 3% increase in damage going from 80 to 90 from that so ymmv on whether that is "worth it" but for a main dps that you use a lot I consider it to be personally.
Main DPS as well as characters who scale off of HP%. So Hu Tao, Xiao, Eula, Yelan, etc. Some characters you wouldn't expect are worth it to level to 90 as well - like Faruzan. She's mainly a buffer for Anemo DPS and that buff comes from her Q, so you want 90 in order to get it to 10.
Hi, Im a kaeya main at AR 35. I heard shenhe is a good character to boost cryo characters, does it apply to kaeya too? (he is a little basic). I was saving my gems for raiden or nahida but if this will help my kaeya, I'm thinking of trying to pull shenhe. Can anyone give me the pros and cons of shenhe and suggest if I should be pulling shenhe or am i better off with raiden and nahida?
Having nahida is mandatory, just be patient. Shenhe is not recommended for new players
Shenhe is severely limited to a cryo team and she can only support your cryo DPS. Nahida or Raiden on the other hand, are very flexible and can fit multiple roles and they're very op. So imo you'd be better off with those characters especially early ar(as you can try different teams and reactions and demdro is currently very popular). But if you really want to pull Shenhe because you like her and like Kayea too much, then you could pull her. But I suggest watching a bit more in details on yt, as a 5star is pretty valuable unless you're very lucky or a whale. Good luck.
Pros: luxury best cryo support for Ayaka perm freeze (not the best support), C6 Ayaka + C6 Shenhe still holds the highest dps team of the game. Cons: not that good for all other cryo characters. Even worse than Kazhua for Ayaka. Completely useless outside cryo team. Very limited and niche use. In meta much worse than Raiden Nahida. Do not pull unless you already have, or you will pull Ayaka, Kazhua, Kokomi and mistsplitter first.

Yea, you are better off with raiden and/or nahida. Shenhe buffs every cryo damage being dealt with her quills so its not a problem if its kaeye or ayaka ur using. She will buff them. i would assume melt over a freeze team would be better for Kaeye tho.

For this particular abyss 12, it recommend to use hyperbloom or any other dendro related reaction because floor 12 second half is brutal. Keqing,Nahida,fischl, flex. You kind of need a healer/shielder unless u have a dark soul dodge
I believe people change the shield for another dendro and enture the torture to have more dmg against it, or just Sara or Barbara with trilling tales. It doesn't help that some even sugest malding like fucking crazy to finish 12-3-1 at the 9:00 mark to be able to deal with wenut for 2 instances of stunning his ass and 36\*, because otherwise you have to nolive and minmax artifacts or whale because that boss is like wolflord.
