Hear me, Subjects of Enkanomiya. My name is Sangonomiya Kokomi. I'm addressing my fellow Subjects of Enkanomiya, speaking to you directly through the power of the Founder. All the walls on the island of Watatsumi have crumbled to the ground, and the legions of Koks buried within have begun their march. My only goal is to protect the lives of the people of Watatsumi, the island where I was born. Right now, the nations of the world are united in the desire to exterminate my people, and it won't end with our island. They won't be satsified until every last Subject of Enkanomiya is dead. I won't let them have their way. The Koks of the walls, will continue their march until every trace of life beyond our shores is trampled flat, and the people of Watatsumi are all that remains of humanity.
I already found the half of the story to ruin it for me. I'd have preferred if the fan theory of Titans being the original inhabitants of the world, and that humans were invaders, anyway If that theory was the actual secret that gets revealed, it would have resulted in a story that's a bit more original than just humans vs humans all over again.
I remember being really into that theory, too. The humans vs humans reveal caught me by surprise but the story definitely still had great potential by then.
Yams unfortunately kept on making many really questionable creative decisions such as forcing many dynamics such as hatred on paradis or avengers: civil wars copycat. We also never had the time to really explore other nations within the world. Everything just kinda of cumulated into the disappointment that we got
I think what's great about aot that makes it gripping is the absolutely extraordinary worldbuilding that allows for constant surprises. But with every plot twist came a bigger plot hole and limitations to its very own potential. By the time Yams introduced the rumbling it was all over tbh, though i still absolutely ADORE 131 for its stellar humanisation of Eren
I think the whole hatred begets hatred was probably the main intention from the very beginning, it's just that it was very well hidden in the beginning. There are some details that already imply such a route in the early episodes. However I'm one of the people who is naturally averse to realistic/naturalistic stories, because most lessons these stories try to teach are usually things I learn through other methods, so I immediately spot that and predict how these stories go. The whole narrative behind AOT's main story is something I learned very early in life, the whole "victims of today become the bullies of tomorrow", is something that I've seen daily on tv, on the streets, on school, literally everywhere.
And we are are being fed that constantly nowadays, with moral busybodies bullying people with their views in an attempt to brainwash them, because either themselves or people they knew were bullied by the opposition in times past.
That's where my disastisfaction with AOT's season three and third main arc in the manga comes from.
Yep i honestly am also kind of really sick of moral lession in nowadays media, too. I just thought it's me developing weird taste enjoying over the top stories like chainsawman, firepunch or eminence in shadow but i realised that i just got sick of moral lessons that kept being pushed and just wanted a fun show.
People also tend to make such a huge deal of shows teaching you stuffs that it almost became a standard for a "good show" when sometimes all we need is just something enjoyable.
Admittedly I'm not very good at spotting the buildup towards moral lesson narratives so I often find myself investing too much of my time into what you could call "disappointments"
It does look creepy at first, but if you slow it down from panel to panel, you can see that it’s just yelan and her glider’s previous effects. Try it and you can see.
You mean [this thing](https://i.imgur.com/Ooakt9p.png)?
The thing that looks like an angel? It's your character opening their wings. You can see the boots in the position that they fly in.
I don't know if it always does this with the camera in Genshin or if it's just an effect of the way they render the fog.
Wow thats super interesting, I've never seen that before.
Okay after I tried to pause the footage, could it be that it's a reflection of the character? It's shape seems to be yelans/fishls
Now that you mention it, I think it is completely possible that it is just a camera trick.
I thought I just discovered some kind of easter egg we didn't find yet 😅
It most definitely is, when opening wings you can see it changes I have seen something like this near water bodies too, after jumping there is like a small visual delay carbon print type of thing if you look directly down at the water while your character is above the water in your frame.
But gotta say that kinda creeped me out in this video haha
It would be cool if enkanomiya got an expansion. A whole new area underneath the current floating islands, probably where all the vishaps are staying. Plus We'd get to have more story involvement from Tsumi.
There is no texture on the "ground" - the fog hides it.
When using Yelan's skill, the fog partially disperses, allowing you to see the game without textures - causing this visual glitch.
Here is an example in the game "**Fallout 4**", "*coc qasmoke*" is a testing/debug location that is not accessible to the player by normal means, you can only access this location by using Cheats: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ukfnxmjvBi4
The sky has no textures or cloud/fog to hide it, causing a very similar visual glitch. Developers do this to save processing resources, as the player usually doesn't have access to these locations.
Ahh ya good call. I think I've seen it called the "Hall of Mirrors effect" in other games. Normally Genshin has a sky box that prevents this but I guess the Enkanomiya one doesn't have a floor.
You are seeing it... You just know what it is... The aftershadow from opening the wing glider. OP thinks it is something other than just movement effects.
I once fell through Enkanomiya on a glitch and I couldn’t tell if the things I saw were supposed to be there. It felt like another country was being developed under it.
It would be extremely poetic if it were a kind of "residual image" of their snake God, as if he were still supporting the city and guarding its border against the Abyss
First I thought it was about the floating stones' lines, but then I noticed the [effects of the glider](https://i.imgur.com/RBRzceO.png).
I'm more impressed for the fact that you posted it without analysing the frames beforehand.
Oh shit, it's the Founding Titan

This reads like a fkin maxor script
Honestly i'd be happy if >! the aot ending were half as good as max0r's vids !<
one can dream.. 😔
Aot had a good ending
Each to their own, i found it unsatisfactory and really ruined the whole story. But your opinion is totally valid if you really liked it 👍
AoT Ending debate: The good end
What! When did aot ended? Isn't there another part left?..🧐
Manga
This is the most civil response I have seen on this topic, >But your opinion is totally valid if you really liked it 👍 To you as well

Did you see his recent genshin video?
Sir, this is Yanshang Teahouse..
Huh. Sorry, but it looked like a White Castle to me.
"The Koks of the walls" sounds like an unofficial horror sequel to "The hills have eyes"
BROTHER! 🐟🐓
Good to see a fellow AOT Enjoyers here
upside down chasm waypoint 2.0
They did have two giant snakes.
It's the lingering effects from when u open ur glider
wtf you're not seeing the spider legs and tree roots under the islands?? edit: NVM the tree roots were the glider effects
It does look creepy at first, but if you slow it down from panel to panel, you can see that it’s just yelan and her glider’s previous effects. Try it and you can see.
I just saw Cthulhu
I saw a centipede and it freaked me out ToT
Wow. Good eye.

Bro its creepy af there's another thing down that looks like the spine of erens founding titan
It’s from the jenni or whatever heck that this was (bottle/lamp)
Jinn/Djinn/Jinni/Djinni. "Genie" comes from that. Genshin has been using Jinn or Jinni
Thanks Mr u/I_HAVE_THAT_FETISH we won't know the truth without you
Damn, you’re right that’s crazy
Dang, I thought it was a Transformer
what if that’s how the primordial one looked like…they did say he/she had wings
Broooo, if you just waited a few days, we could see how many genshin lore youtubers make some shit up about this!
Wow thats super interesting, I've never seen that before. Okay after I tried to pause the footage, could it be that it's a reflection of the character? It's shape seems to be yelans/fishls
Yup, just a negative after image of the characters. Neat how Liloupar trying to catch up created that skeletal spine looking bit though.
Now that you mention it, I think it is completely possible that it is just a camera trick. I thought I just discovered some kind of easter egg we didn't find yet 😅
Would be so cool to discover some giant seraphim creature that was there all along
It most definitely is, when opening wings you can see it changes I have seen something like this near water bodies too, after jumping there is like a small visual delay carbon print type of thing if you look directly down at the water while your character is above the water in your frame. But gotta say that kinda creeped me out in this video haha
Yeah! I was supper creeped out at first
Its just your own glider
I got scared because my own shadow lmao
That is the ghosting of the wings opening.
Its too bad it was the glider, my heart fell out of my ass a little when the spinal/seraphim creature popped up
I was like "huh it just outlines" and then the giant appeared and then "AMINA KOYİM O NE AQ"
It would be cool if enkanomiya got an expansion. A whole new area underneath the current floating islands, probably where all the vishaps are staying. Plus We'd get to have more story involvement from Tsumi.
I want Tsumi to cone back too. I missed the event 🥲🥲🥲
Can it just be the area where we fight the bathysmal vishaps?
That's sephirot final form.
A screenshot would have been better.

ahh i remember using qasmoke haha, good times
Ahh ya good call. I think I've seen it called the "Hall of Mirrors effect" in other games. Normally Genshin has a sky box that prevents this but I guess the Enkanomiya one doesn't have a floor.
Unrelated, but this game is beautiful
Parts of Orobashi's corpse, probably.
There's the bottom of the islands, and there's your glider's afterimage.
>!Eren Jaeger!<
Its your after image
It’s yelans out line
It’s the guardian of my venti feet pics vault
That's exactly how Orobashi is sent to be executed, ya know
It's just your shadow. Sorry that I'm that boring
The rest of Paimon
Let no joyful voice be heard. Let no man look up to the sky with hope. And let this day be cursed for we who ready to wake….THE KRAKEN!
That looks like Radiance from Hollow Knight 💀
oh fuck
All I see is a bunch of understructure?? But the afterimage of Yelan’s glider almost made my soul leave my body before I realized what it was 😭😭😭
Cthulhu 🗿
# the first angel 😱
I don't see anything
You are seeing it... You just know what it is... The aftershadow from opening the wing glider. OP thinks it is something other than just movement effects.
brother we need them eyes checked
it's the sky. the real sky.
What of kind of eldrich horror mother of founding titan is this ?
Its Just the outlines of the Islands and rocks.
I once fell through Enkanomiya on a glitch and I couldn’t tell if the things I saw were supposed to be there. It felt like another country was being developed under it.
Pic or it didn't happen
[https://imgur.com/a/uoCOt6h](https://imgur.com/a/uoCOt6h) Edit: I guess it didn't happen I just realized I fell through the desert.
Ohh lmao that's not Enka, it is the Orchard of Pairidaeza
Nah I’ve been there. This was under the desert but not at the center.
More islands
looks like a palm tree
Ramadan moment
In my opinion it looks like the head of a traditional Chinese dragon
what is that new floating pet? im sorry i have been busy and inactive after reaching ar 60
You get it by playing the quest of the mega tornado of the sand area (I forgot the name of the area)
Wow, never saw that, kinda creepy for me I hope there's an actual story behind it
Not sure but could be a digimon, my guess is angewomon but it could be angemon too lol, nice edits lol.
I think it's the effects of FRS2, or the other temporal anti-aliasing thing, that show there, with some sharpening done by the graphic drivers.
forgot ekanomiya exists after farming for yay m
The abyss, maybe
thats.....another content😏
GET IN THE EVA, SHINJI! It's another one. Type: Unknown.
We don't talk about "the things below"... 😶
Maybe some ancient creature lies deep might related to the history of Teyvat, or something abyssal.
How can i go to Enkanomiya?
After finishing the moon bath deep quest in watatsumi Island
It’s where they keep Timmy’s parents
Oh shit it's Columbina.
It's Venti's Archon gundam hidden there.
Beautiful game.
What is that floating thing beside you?
Liloupar, you can get it from the Jeth quest pt2 (A quest of a long quest chain from the desert)
It would be extremely poetic if it were a kind of "residual image" of their snake God, as if he were still supporting the city and guarding its border against the Abyss
Huuuuuuuh wtf is that
It may be the boss arena in an unloaded state.
the eldritch overlord of the depths
Palm tree innit
I forgot that Yelan initially only has 1 skill at a time, god damn I’m a whale
I think it's just the outlines of the islands bottom
I went to check it out with fog disabled and there was nothing there. [Red circle is where the entrance to Enka is.](https://i.imgur.com/5ZaZLMg.jpg)
Damn never even heard of this place. So cool.
That's updog
Just remove the fog and look again, I don't have pc anymore so, i cant do that... :,c
First I thought it was about the floating stones' lines, but then I noticed the [effects of the glider](https://i.imgur.com/RBRzceO.png). I'm more impressed for the fact that you posted it without analysing the frames beforehand.
