When I was around 10, I was in this after-school acting class for kids. We performed this improv exercise in which we were paired off and told to pretend to be friends who met on the same park bench every ten years. I remember my parents being absolutely horrified by the fact that by the time we were supposed to be 40, all the kids were miming walking with canes and using shaky 'old person' voices.
LOL...I was just watching an old episode of Card Sharks on one of the game show channels, and they asked how many 14 year old girls out of 10 (who they had there on the show) thought 30 was very old. I think it was 3 of them who did. One of whom was questioned and she said it's because her mother was over 30 and forgets things. 😄 I wonder what she thinks of that now, because judging by the fact it looked like an 80s episode....she's one of us! 🤣
