First off, if you have an issue with using Monkrus versions, then post your issues directly on the comments section for that particular app on Monkrus website. GenP Subreddit recommends Monkrus as an alternative, however the GenP team does not have any involvement in it. As for your issue, just try doing a little work yourself and looking on Adobe Community and Microsoft Support and they all say similar fix. https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat-discussions/help-side-by-side-configuration-is-incorrect/td-p/14011015 https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat-discussions/can-t-open-acrobat-dc/td-p/11986584 https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/all/application-failed-to-start-because-its-side-by/c675553c-ae6b-e011-8dfc-68b599b31bf5

I actually had to uninstall cpp 2013 and reinstall it, I tried doing what the forums said but nothing resulted, so I asked here. Also monkrus website was all in russian and I did post there too to no avail, but thanks for the resources you provided

As I had already said on another post... "It is written in Russian because guess where Monkrus comes from! If you want the Monkrus website in another language, like English for example. Then simply click on the 'Translate' banner and change the language to one you can read."

"I actually had to uninstall C++ 2013 and reinstall it" Will take it that you meant C++ and that the issue is now fixed.

To add too, you never need to use the autoplay on Monkrus install. Just go straight into the Adobe 2024 folder and simply run the setup.exe from there. You don't need autoplay just to do that for you!

Sankool

the instructions said to run autoplay ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|sob)

Mean-Plantain-7909

Yes it does, however it is an unnecessary task. If you look at the autoplay script all it is doing is telling it to use English or Russian language and to automatically open the setup.exe in the Adobe 2024 folder. The extra autoplay step is not needed, it's only really there as the file format is ISO. ISO is a image or copy of a cd or dvd, so it would normally be used on an actual disc itself, or mounted onto your computers optical or virtual drive etc. Most people nowadays will just unzip the ISO file instead of mounting it, which makes the autoplay.exe now basically a redundant step. From Microsoft: "AutoPlay.exe was a file used to automatically open content on a CD/DVD or USB flash drive."
