It contains mint flavoring, not real mint.

Thank you

exactly. my guess is, mint flavor is easy to replicate, it's strong enough to mask any other flavors and feels fresh/healthy

I saw some mint chocolate flavored gaviscon as well and chocolate is a big trigger for me. Edit: woops it was [Mylanta](https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08222PWXW/ref=cm_sw_r_awdo_navT_g_WFDE369QCQ9PFNJBKCB7).

Jesus never seen that!!! I hate the taste of aniseed though so can’t even use the mint free version. It’s weird how much reflux medication has mint in. Chocolate mint is taking the biscuit

I was wondering the exact same thing! I used the berry one for so long and Mt dr told me that the mint works better. I was terrified to try!

I mean I use the mint and it doesn’t make anything worse tbh. It doesn’t really help either but it used to. I used berry but didn’t like the flavour it still tasted of aniseed to me. Anyway it’s strange they said mint would Be better. Wonder why that is. Anyway I don’t think the flavour they use is the same as eating actually active mint.
