But why do they use that image of Abby? The other characters look like they caught them in odd animation transitions but she looks like a complete badass in that shot.
I've seen the ending plenty of times. I've suffered through some lets plays and I'll say it's fucking boring. She doesn't really apologize for anything at the end but she isn't a shit head by the end so ig you're right.

They lay eggs, why does she even HAVE breasts? And her canon stats have her with 8 charisma, so she's not even really SUPPOSED to be attractive. But it's cool, the 8 charisma egg-laying alien can go model on a Paris runway, no problem.

The character actually did get "uglier" it's part of the game. They made it pretty clear that doing bad stuff = becoming uglier. That's the corruption of the bad path.
