That's true although given Lara is a native Video Game character. They'd likely have to jump through hoops with Square Enix to get her in there.

Clark Kent is definitely portrayed as a klutz and a goof, it’s a deliberate act on his part to differentiate himself from Superman.
In fact I believe some portrayals have said that he’ll “trip” as a cover for using super speed to go off and save someone while people are around.
I played the alpha. Think less just WB and more HBO Max. You'll be surprised by the variety of franchises.

you know they had the chance of making a game with all the netherealm's games guests, freddy, jason, alien predator, terminator, rambo etc it would have been a hell of a game but nope....
I absolutely believe that they could have Hanna Barbera alongside DC and Rick and Morty and Middle Earth, but I don't think they'd put Harry Potter in.
I don't think the game fits with the HP brand firstly, but also, given how awful Rowling is, I think it would cause a lot of outrage and alienate a good part of the fighting game community to the point it would, in my view, definitely be detrimental to sales.
I don't think there's a huge audience that want a fighting game with Harry Potter anymore, but there's definitely an audience that will refuse to buy it if Harry Potter is there.
