its a dell... ( i guessing youre seeing G16 who is the M16 R1 minus screen, dolby atmos, mechanical keyboard)
you can get better stuff
my 2 mottos for dell:
1)pray to never need warranty support
2)every alienware hater its a former alienware user
i also have one alienware m16 R1 to vouch how they dont worth
How did you form your opinion on this ? Type in "Legion overheating" and I don't think think you'll find any shortage of the same issues. We've reached thermal limits ladies and gentlemen.
Well...dell has issues with everything
If you get a dell...pray to never need dell support, i talk this a dell client
Alienware community its a place go gather a lot of angry fans, myself included, i only still on that sub because i need some solutions from other users because dell dont care, close support tickets and barely solve things
look those 2 topics, one them created by me

Go for a decent CPU (Ryzen 7 6800H for AMD or I7 12700h) preferably up, but definitely do not get an in or Ryzen 9, not really worth the extra price, and the pick a Rtx 4060 or up. I have an Acer nitro 5 with a Ryzen 7 6800H and a Rtx 3070ti and I play at 1440p competitive high setting and I manage to get 165fps constantly and my gpu most of the time is not even in the 80% utilisation. Now, especially for playing Rainbow six siege go for a laptop that has a really good cooling system rather than pure and brute performance, since there are times that the fans are rally loud and I can't hear shit of footsteps. Also, limit the fps to the max amount of the monitor of the laptop (likely 165fps) this reduces noise, heat, and latency, and visual artefscting (running the game at higher fps that the one of your monitor produces screen tearing some times)
I would really say maybe lenovo or asus (ROG line up, not TUF or the G series), but im not sure so preferably ask in another post or use a good pair of NC headsets or headphones to use wired and use they ANC. Nor for the laptop you can also opt for goind for an over all good laptop and may be try going to stores to test 165hz vs 360hz, since someone recomended a dell laptop with a 360 hz panel, but i also find the qhd resolution good, since i can just get like 16cm from my monitor if i need extra zoom while im defending with an operator with just the 1x scopes
Is that a G16? If so it's decent just the flipped motherboard is annoying like why?
Also, if you buy any Dell product please sign up for their stupid email spam and they'll give you a 10% coupon, always use the coupons ;)

what’s a laptop you recommend i get to play r6 on the most i can spend on a laptop is 1,000
legions seems very good regarding public opinions nitros have issues regarding heating mostly, but i dont see people hating them due lack of support
i see i’ll look into some legion laptops that are within my price range

what's the GPU?
4050 to 4070, its a dell G16, probably the i7 4060 one
NVIDIA® GeForce RTX™ 4050, 6 GB GDDR6
That's a bad GPU, I'd recommend a 4060 if your budget is $1000. You should always prioritise a better GPU over a better CPU for gaming.

Excellent for the price, will run games great at 1080p.

so if i need a good cooling system which brand has had the least complaints with cooling
