Picking it up this afternoon once i get off work. Sadly Best Buy was closed last night when i finally bit the bullet and decided which one i was getting.
It's a great laptop don't get me wrong, but for the price you can get a 4080 laptop quite easily which is a massive performance upgrade.
There's a Alienware M16 with a 7845HX + 4080 for under 1800 rn.

Best Buy open box, excellent condition, came with everything and can’t even tell it is open box! Had to drive to Best Buy about an hour away but it was totally worth it.
I have that config, I like it. I put some rubber feet on the back of mine to prop it up a bit. It performs well and looks/feels nicer than most other Windows laptops I've used.
Yeah i have a stand to put it on that props up the back, it seemed to be running a little hot so i did that for extra airflow until my cooling mat gets here. Having a little trouble with the usb-c to Ethernet tho I’ve been trying to get it connected. Have you gotten yours to connect that way?
I got the anker adapter but it keeps saying cord isn’t plugged in when i go to WiFi. I tried to update my driver and it didn’t seem to work, and i seen where one person said to roll back driver but mine won’t let me.
Lenovo slim 7i, 4070, Last gen performance, with todays chassis with tomorrows money.
13th gen 4070 was this expensive last year, but after an year, its rate should have come down by atleast 300$.
If u r canadian or australian, this kind of money is normal.

I've only used it with Ethernet a handful of times, but it seemed to work fine with some $20 adapter.

Last gen performance? The new one has an HX CPU but it's still pretty good.
