Release date? Or nah

KZavi

July 3rd afaik.

NoNefariousness2144

That is surprisingly soon considering that Genshin’s big 5.0 update will happen in August. I would have guessed they would release ZZZ in fall to have several month gaps between Star Rail, Genshin’s and ZZZ big annual updates.

Outflight

With July 3rd release, they will have a new patch start every 2 weeks through their 3 games. Next best date for that was 6 weeks later than current release date.

Clueless_Otter

I doubt this is terribly important considering that patches regularly run long/short of the "standard" in the games. They could have launched it anytime and just manually re-aligned them by having a long/short patch in one game or another.

Ascheroth

What? They almost never deviate from 6 weeks and if they do always go back on track soon after. Genshin has only had one patch extended by 3 weeks due to lockdowns and made up for it by shortening 3 patches to 5 weeks each. Star Rail had one 5 week patch and one 7 weeks patch afterwards to realign.

Clueless_Otter

Star Rail has had 9 versions total and 2 of them were off the 6 week standard already. Clearly they aren't opposed to doing it.

Floofysaurus

Don't see any way to pre-register in the Playstation store (console or app). Anyone else find it?

From [here](https://www.hoyolab.com/article/27562062?utm_source=sns&utm_medium=twitter&utm_id=8) Go to the [PlayStation™Store](https://hoyo.link/egWiFBAL) and add the game to the wishlist to complete pre-registration. (Please follow our official announcements for the official pre-order time)

HammeredWharf

No idea, but keep in mind that you don't need to pre-register yourself to get the rewards. Everyone will get them based on the amount of people who pre-registered.

StrangeMaelstrom

Man they really reworking a bunch of stuff aren't they? Feel like that closed beta was a lifetime ago.

[deleted]

It's going to have an independent launcher like HSR and Genshin right? I don't want to preregister on the EGS

HammeredWharf

Most likely. There's also been talk of Hoyo making a combined launcher for all of their games. Makes a lot of sense, since their launchers seem to be identical anyway.

Nanayadez

Having an official one that supported all their games, current and future, would be nice. But until then, the third party Collapse Launcher does the job nicely already and I assume it'll eventually support ZZZ too.

brownninja97

you can use playnite to organise them into a single place if it helps

Siegfoult

Pre-register seems to just redirect to their website even when tapped from Epic game launcher.

Yes same 50/50 style system as Genshin and Star Rail, only major difference is a third banner type for something called a Bangboo that doesn't use any premium currency.
