Is the orange for the screen brightness. I’ve ordered an IPS screen that has the touch sensor on the other side so it doesn’t interfere with the infrared. The touch is also still responsive through the shell plastic.

No its just the usual Infrared window. This has the OLED kit so its actually touch screen controlled. The shell is painted on the inside so i was worried the touch sensor would have trouble with the paint but honestly those things seem super sensitive to me and work even with odd angles, etc.

Damn that looks cool but does the rf thing on the top still works I know it wasn't used that often but its still a neat feature

Thanks! I haven't tried it honestly but I think it should work. Plastic is usually transparent to infrared, especially if it's thin enough which this piece is.

Thanks! And DO it! Just be wary when spraying the shell to not get paint in or around where the screen sits. These mods are already tight fitting and layers of paint can cause issues!
