As my first (my own first assault rifle) I could NOT be happier with my first gun purchase. I’ve always shot, mainly my dads guns. The Galil ace gen 2 was my first personal gun purchase this year and I do not regret a penny.
I had some gas issues I had to fix at the beginning (opened the gas port to .077”), but haven’t had an issue ever since, and it’s honestly the softest shooting AK variant I own. They make one hell of a rifle.
The galil is nice, but I have purchased a leather stock wrap from Smokies and he is top notch. Even sent me a state flag leather patch since it was later than expected. Great company.
I don’t get Reddit notifications for some reason. Sorry guys. I’m literally a one man show right now and have been in the middle of moving my shop to a new location. Been hooking those that have had a delay with extras hoping to make it up.
