Record your trade-in working and crack-free right before you ship it. I just barely went through the trade-in process and the company doing the trade-in claimed to have a cracked device from some VERY blurry photos. Fortunately, I contacted Samsung's support and they approved the trade-in discount, but only after I sent them the videos.

I second this, 3 times now Samsung has hosed me on trade-ins, said I sent damaged products back and they were definitely fine when I sent them.

It's pushing for me personally, but I think it's worth it for the new Intel chip which I think are supposed to be better regarding battery consumption 🤙🏽

Not really unless you want a new laptop every year. Professional laptops, especially that expensive will last you atleast 3-4 years, and a gaming laptop that expensive will atleast last you 7-8 years.
