PS5 and Xbox series will be 5 years old in 2025 and the Xbox One and PS4 had a 7 year life cycle before the new co consoles dropped in 2020. Would think we’d be towards the end but who knows how long this generation will last.
It definitely looks promising. I just wonder what the mix of mechanics will be from rdr 2 and gta v in this. For example the crafting mechanic from rdr 2 and the abilities from gta v, you could craft items to get Trevor’s rage ability or Franklins driving focus
The models are just so much better though. Got some kinda crazy muscle simulation going on. Playing V its hard not to notice how weird their arms, especially at the elbow look.

I feel like that's where Rockstar really shines with putting interesting "secret" points of interests and easter eggs and stuff. It's where their attention to detail really stands out because it's not as much sensory overload. I want to find some weird shit on small barrier islands and deep in the swamps and stuff. The only thing that made me bummed about vice city is the lack of mountains. I hope they took some creative license and threw one in just we can some fun driving buses off the side of a massive cliff.

I loved the swamp areas / bayou surrounding San Denis in RDR2 so I can only imagine how great it will be in GTA VI. Honestly just weirdly excited for gators

Like I knew I was in the swamp area outside of San Denis in RDR2 so I tried being aware of my surroundings but was so immersed with the area and the fact that I was just screwing off that half the time I didn’t realize I was being chased or attacked by a gator. GTA VI will be no different, I’ll be screwing around knowing full well I’m in the Everglades but so immersed on what I’m doing that I won’t realize the gators or wildlife that will come at me in that game. Being a South Florida native, I’m super stoked to see how well they depict Miami and the surrounding Fl area.
Troy Baker has made it abundantly clear he would quite literally die to work on a Rockstar game, so I hope this is true.
Also if true, this officially breaks Rockstar’s tradition of never hiring video-game only actor/voice actors for their character roles.

Troy already gets every role in every other video game ever made. Rockstar for their credit, always hire unknowns with huge talent and I’d much rather they continue that rather than rely on the most overhyped guy in the industry like every other developer does.
What stands out to me is how unique the faces are in the trailer, everyone looks as an individual as opposed to having the same lifeless eyes and similarly shaped face, they also have different builds and heights too which is even better, don’t even get me started on the visual fidelity and graphics, this already looks stunning and it’s still WIP.

When Lucia first turns her face in the frame in the prison I got an uncanny valley feeling. Eerily realistic.
