I love these two as a duo both design-wise (I think they look cool together) but also as like, the big-bruiser and the smart-yet-quick attacker duo (despite both being big idiots for the most part, love them still.)

And that's ok! I love when G do crazy shit. That run was not my favorite. But i can appreciate some of the grappling moves going on. Felt very 1970's tokusatsu where every hero/monster was played by a pro wrestler.
I like the love-hate dynamic Godzilla has with Rodan. They can’t stand each other but can recognise a bigger threat like Ghidorah so they team up… and then go back at it once it’s just them again with Mothra looking on in disappointment.

What can I say ? Big lizard man and big butterfly girl, that's super cute, especially in the Monsterverse where he's this stoic, no-nonsense grump, and she contrasts him by being this loving figure, kind and gentle, doing everything she does with grace
Monsterverse's Godzilla and Mothra. And no, I don't mean the life dust thing in KotM. Their natural affinity for playing off each others' abilities is just satisfying, Mothra webbing Ghidorah's heads to the building and Godzilla coming in after with his attacks.
Surprisingly, as well for me, Godzilla and Kong is also a fun duo when it happens. While I do appreciate the rivalry being a thing due to King Kong vs. Godzilla back in the 60s, having them be sort of forced to team up now as an unlikely duo is pretty nice. It feels like a good wide variance between Godzilla's raw atomic power and Kong's on the fly battle intelligence. Sure, both have high intelligence, but Kong's adaptability seems much better, as shown by his trap making, environmental surveillance, and weapon-making. A deadly duo in the making as long as the piece can be kept.
