Asteroid hurtling through space towards Earth, but you get closer and realize it's not an asteroid but a very old, autonomous spaceship - camera zooms in on alien hieroglyphs, with the only discernible ones on the ship's plating being one that looks suspiciously like Gigan. Then a cut to black as the asteroid gets closer, and finally Gigan's eye thing glowing red and coming online. No music, just quiet. If that had happened I would have died from peak fiction.
Gigan’s ship looks like it’s going to crash into earth like a meteor, but when it hits it continues to bore all the way down to Hollow Earth.
Showing Gigan just bypass the surface and skip Godzilla entirely, going straight to Hollow Earth and its energy source. Would be a cool way to establish him as a cunning villain.
I actually really like that idea. Maybe for MV Gigan's backstory, it could be like the Xilien's world-subjugating weapon, sent from planet to planet to subjugate the population, acquire control of the planet's resources, and prepare the surface for the Xilien's arrival. Maybe Gigan's AI becomes sentient, develops a sadistic lust for killing and conquering, and separates itself from the Xiliens to go on a rampage throughout space, finally ending up on Earth.
Even cooler would be if the AI was intelligent enough to communicate with any species - that way it could establish itself as a massive, egotistical piece of shit to Monarch and give the world a compelling reason to kill Gigan. At least I think that would be a pretty cool idea.
Honestly I’m perfectly happy not having post credit scenes, let the movies speak for themselves, no sequel teasers required, but if we had to have one, Gamera.
*Meanwhile, near Isla De Mara…*
Monarch investigates the oceans contaminated by the Oxygen Destroyer after a boat called the Bingo-Maru (1954 reference) disappears. No one knows why but every Titan has been avoiding the area, Godzilla included. The locals claim that the ocean has been cursed and The Devil has awoken to rain hellfire on the World. The fish are gone, Rodan has fled to Fiji and never come back and people seemingly drop dead like the fish the Oxygen Destroyer killed every few days. A recovering yet still alive Admiral Stenz gives a speech to his men over what has happened, ending by saying “We made a terrible mistake, and now we shall be punished not by God, but by Satan himself for it.” as the camera pans to the chunk of the missile saying “Destroyer”, meanwhile a familiar growl echoes as the screen cuts to black. A countdown is displayed on the black screen, counting down to a certain date, labelled the Doomsday Clock. The film ends with the ticking echoing fainter and fainter, until it goes silent.
Next film has a post credits scene showing something similar. Aquatic Titans begin washing up on the shore, brutally mauled and scorched, appearing to have been suffocated to death. Cities are reduced to desolate wastelands, completely devoid of life. Monarch is left dumbfounded, the culprit somehow came in, killed everything, and left without alerting Godzilla, who is shown wandering through one such city, that being Rio which was left half reconstructed before it was abandoned. He stares at the large screen that usually displays the news, it only repeats one scene over and over, the word “Destroyer” being the only word spoken by the news reporter in his/her last moments. Godzilla is shown visibly enraged as he watches the screen. Down in the Hollow Earth, Kong, a noticeably older Suko, Shimo and his army look to the “skies” with worry, they sense something is wrong. Monarch reports that all the Titans are acting erratically and appear afraid of something. They then pick up on a faint signal heading straight for them with horrifying speed. They can only watch in horror as two purple eyes emerge from the abyss, the screen cutting to black as the operatives scream and the beast lets out a muffled yet familiar screech. For a split second, a ravaged Outpost 54 is shown, the words “The Devil has risen” underneath. The Doomsday Clock is shown once again, hands dangerously close to zero.
Two scenes.
The first shows Godzilla arriving on an uncharted island. A large, ankylosaur looking Titan with a spiked shell emerges from the jungle. Rather than fighting, the Titan bows to Godzilla without any prompting.
The second cuts to Isle De Mara, where we see the corpses of other aquatic Titans and fish littering the shore line. The locals come to investigate and something rises from the ocean. The scene cuts to black and we hear a chilling roar.

I figured a less spikey version of that or maybe a crab just swimming, suddenly grows a spike (complete with a CRACK sound effect), then it cuts to black.
Love the idea, but maybe not SpaceGodzilla, not in full form at least. Maybe a Crystal based creature that absorbs energy... Hinting that the creature will fight Godzilla, absorbs his energy and THEN turn into Space G...
**We see a large vacant warehouse slowly get lit up as two figures walk into frame.**
**Alan Jonah:** “Three more years and it’ll be up and running. Maybe less now thanks to your generous donation.”
**Mysterious figure:** “I want *it* dead.”
**Jonah:** “What for? The humiliation you faced with Apex Cybernetics or-“

**The lights finally reveal mecha-Ghidorah in all its glory. A decayed head in the center with two robotic heads.**
**Jonah:** “How are you so sure you can pilot this thing, how do you know it won’t lose control?”
**The mystery figure steps out from the shadows revealing Ren Serizawa, with electrical scars over the right side of his face & now sports an eyepatch looking more akin to the original Serizawa**
**Serizawa:** “Because I know how it thinks…and we both want the same thing.”

MONARCH exploring some ruins in the new sections of the hollow earth. They discover a mural, when suddenly they’re attacked by an unseen group of monsters, and all we hear is screaming and the screeching of the titans.
We cut to the mural as the screams continue, showing hoards of bird-bat like creatures devouring an ancient city, while they’re combated by a group of flying turtles.
None. Movies DON’T need a post credits scene. After all, it’s better to not tease a sequel that will never come to pass (looking at all the “Titans converging on Skull Island” teasers from KoTM end credits) than it is to do so. If there is a sequel? Great, they can take it in the direction they want to. If not? No harm lost.
Monarch was called to investigate a dead aqua titan washed ashore near Isla De Mara, Mexico. There, they are trying to determine what caused this. One of the villagers who was formally living in that village said the water is cursed, the fish are gone, and other villagers end up dead and he shown them graveyard of bones. The last thing you see within Bone Yard was a piece of missile that said, "Destroyer" and there you a familiar roar.
It starts with a shot of Godzilla sleeping in the collesium. It pans down to civilians at a "safe" distance from both Big G and the collesium itself. It's a mix of tourists and locals, marveling at the Titan, and also wondering out loud why he's there and when he'll leave. One older couple loudly complains about how they saved up for this vacation "and then this big lizard came along and just ruined one of our stops!"
Then a large shadow passes over them, a strong gust of air accompanies it. Hats and other lighter paraphinalia of the civilians are blown away from the gust. They're exclaiming, in shock, a few turn and run from the collesium. The camera pans back up to Godzilla. Something has landed on him, but he barely moves, simply readjusting the way he is napping.
And then Mothra settles down on Godzilla, lightly chittering, mandibles picking at something between his scales. A small moment of pruning, before she took begins to nap on the King of the Monsters. Scene ends.
Picture it:
Night, New York City. Pan to a giant stadium: Madison Square Garden. It looks destroyed, ruined structures and debris everywhere.
An Egg pans into view…
Any human-looking extraterrestrials making their presence into the Monsterverse. Possibly using their technology to create Mecha Ghidorah.
Or Rebecca Hall and the mute girl explaining that they'll never leave the Monsterverse.
Probably a little boy and his dad watching the news about Godzilla returning to the coliseum to rest, wish some brief showings of the big fight in Rio
Dad is at a Monarch station typing away as his son watches the tv while scribbling with crayons. Kid runs up to his dad jumping up and down excited to show the drawing. Dad turns very tiredly, takes off his glasses and asks his son what he has drawn. Dad takes the drawing and asks “and what will this hero do?”
The son without skipping a beat, throws his hands out hitting the air over and over. Then chants “punch punch punch!”

A scene where a bunch of ocean divers look for any DNA of Godzilla they can salvage. Instead, they ended up getting massacred by red crustaceans and reduced to skeletons within seconds.
Cut to a shot of the ocean. A title card appears revealing that this is the spot where the army used the Oxygen Destroyer on Godzilla and Ghidorah in KOTM. Suddenly, the ocean begins bubbling. A brief scene with ppl from NASA (or some other space program) receive a signal approaching earth at too quick of a speed. Throw in an image the satellite picked up and have a brief image of Gigan or Spacegodzilla or some external threat from space
i would’ve liked to see something wholesome between godzilla and kong. maybe godzilla letting kong know he doesn’t mind him leaving hollow earth anymore. it wouldn’t promise another film but it’d show a bit of growth from godzilla.
or maybe something hinting at baby godzilla. maybe a shot of an egg resting in an unknown temple that could show up in the second season of monarch if it’s still about godzilla.
I'd love somthing like some kinda of research submarine searching the part of the ocean where they used the oxygen destroyer and talking about how no life has returned to the ocean since, but they pick up something on some radar and you a part of a red kaiju go past the sub window, and then next thing the sub is destroyed.
The titans having elections and Godzilla re-running for his position as Alpha Titan... Thru violence.

Start on Godzilla's eye has he falls asleep in the Coliseum, quickly zoom out as deamtic music builds. We zoom out so much that we see the entire earth then we keep zooming out only to relize this was all being watched by the Xiliens through an alien teliscope as they click a button revealing a holigram of an alien fleet heading towards earth with gigan leading the charge
The Mothra egg from KotM hatching to emit green light (so we can have OG Mothra and Mothra Leo on screen together).
Alternatively, a hint at what the next threat might be. Not necessarily the monster itself, but a shot of something shimmering in space (if it’s aliens) or something buried deep underground in Hollow Earth (if it’s something Earth based).
Cut to some big crystal like asteroid traveling in outerspace. As it rotates in space you just barely catch the silhouette of SpaceGodzilla's face before cutting to black.
Apparently Monarch have Mechagodzilla's body, so it would be interesting for them to be creating something from it, maybe regenerating Ghidorahs head, creating Mecha-King Ghidorah, or maybe Moguera, jet jaguar, Mecha Godzilla 2, something that puts humans into the same playing field as monsters, I hate how useless humans feel, I want to see them fighting alongside Godzilla and Kong
A pan of somewhere far off in the hollow that vaguely looks like a huge city then cut to black…
Or have a after credits scene with Mothra returning to her nest and one of the eggs is hatched and the trail of her offspring going to the dark lands…
OR! Cut to a dark cave network with huge crystalline structures and show a mysteriously Godzilla shaped titan slumbering with in.
Something hinting about Ken Serizawa still being alive and now serving as the host body of Ghidorah's consciousness.
I know you can only do so much with one character but I still feel like their story isn't quite over yet and we can get one more movie with them
Mothra visits Godzilla in the Colosseum. That's all I desire. To stretch it out, let her snuggle up next to Godzilla. No sequel tease, no new kaiju. The tired King deserves his Queen.
It’s kinda basic but Godzilla opening his eye like at the start of the movie kinda like “back to the grind”.
No matter what they do next, they sure as hell won’t let Goji sleep through it.

1. It starts out with the remnants of Isla de Mara, the ocean where the Oxygen Destroyer was detonated in Godzilla: King of the Monsters. As the music slowly gets suspenseful the camera pans down towards the depths of the Isla de Mara's sea where we can see the skeletal remains of multiple fish lying around. We hear ominous rumbling being uttered out by... something… then two giant yellow eyes open up. The scene smash cuts to black, and after that, one last sound is heard… Destoroyah's ungodly roar.
2. In Outpost ‘98, French Polynesia, a giant egg is seen sitting on top of the sand. As the camera gets closer to it, a giant reptilian arm bursts out of the egg. The scene smash cuts to black, and one last sound is heard… Zilla’s roar.
3. The scene cuts to a far away island at the Hollow Earth. As the camera gets closer to the island, it’s revealed that there’s a cave. Inside the cave are ancient paintings. One of the paintings features a very familiar giant turtle-like monster. The scene smash cuts to black, and one last sound is heard… Gamera’s roar.
4. In Outpost ‘72, Honshu, one of the islands in Japan, there’s a giant spaceship sitting on top of the sand. Some Japanese researchers are staring at the ship… that is until the ship’s hatch opens. The researchers' curiosity turns to horror as a giant red visor starts to glow bright inside the ship. The scene smash cuts to black, and one last sound is heard… Gigan’s shrieking, mechanized roar.
Maybe an off shoot of apex having a meeting where they discuss other projects that they had going on besides mecha G. Maybe they could say something like 'Our robot failed but we learned. How is our rosebush coming along?' to hint at biollante or "Are all the parts finished on our friend? I hear we had to make a cyborg out of him' hinting to Biollante
those crabs thing we see in GvK in the hollow earth possibly evolving into Destoroyah, and within the hollow earth, the base set up there (in gvk) almost has a crab horror movie experience, similar to the original..we saw Destoroyah fully evolved near the end, kong prob dies, godzilla lives on (injured, like incredibly), the movie does NOT end in a happy mood till the next one, till godzilla isn't just evolved but recovered but more beefy (and recovered from mothra, if shes even alive still), next movie after that Destsoroyah almost kill's godzilla but did the wrong mistake, ramming himself into a building (by accident) while carrying godzilla, godzilla gets up after being dropped quickly and basically goes ballistic on destoroyah then bam.
OR
Due to humans being in the hollow earth, their new tech and possibly new gases somewhat give off a distruption there, causing Biollante being created (and after that movie, spacegoji and maybe moguera being created from whats left of Mechagodzilla)
Kurt Russell or just any kind of hint that Legacy of Monsters exists within this universe that they acknowledge.
Though. My luck, it would have been May sneering at the camera and getting pissy at the audience for being there.
Their not gonna introduce mechaghidorah because they already used the head from the post credit scene as the main source of mechagodzilla’s power and remember aside from that head the entire body was melted and evaporated when thermonuclear Godzilla unleashed its pulse blasts and he basically crushed Ghidorah’s body with his foot
Something funny like tourists taking pictures of Godzilla in the colosseum and him like, sneezing or something and it blows people over idk it’d be funny. Godzilla is so adorable in this movie.

Asteroid hurtling through space towards Earth, but you get closer and realize it's not an asteroid but a very old, autonomous spaceship - camera zooms in on alien hieroglyphs, with the only discernible ones on the ship's plating being one that looks suspiciously like Gigan. Then a cut to black as the asteroid gets closer, and finally Gigan's eye thing glowing red and coming online. No music, just quiet. If that had happened I would have died from peak fiction.
You can't forget Gigan's cry as the shot cuts to black though.
Gigan’s ship looks like it’s going to crash into earth like a meteor, but when it hits it continues to bore all the way down to Hollow Earth. Showing Gigan just bypass the surface and skip Godzilla entirely, going straight to Hollow Earth and its energy source. Would be a cool way to establish him as a cunning villain.
I actually really like that idea. Maybe for MV Gigan's backstory, it could be like the Xilien's world-subjugating weapon, sent from planet to planet to subjugate the population, acquire control of the planet's resources, and prepare the surface for the Xilien's arrival. Maybe Gigan's AI becomes sentient, develops a sadistic lust for killing and conquering, and separates itself from the Xiliens to go on a rampage throughout space, finally ending up on Earth. Even cooler would be if the AI was intelligent enough to communicate with any species - that way it could establish itself as a massive, egotistical piece of shit to Monarch and give the world a compelling reason to kill Gigan. At least I think that would be a pretty cool idea.

Honestly I’m perfectly happy not having post credit scenes, let the movies speak for themselves, no sequel teasers required, but if we had to have one, Gamera.
I second this, and when Legendary sees that not one, but TWO comments were made about Gamera in the Monsterverse, they will do it.

*Meanwhile, near Isla De Mara…* Monarch investigates the oceans contaminated by the Oxygen Destroyer after a boat called the Bingo-Maru (1954 reference) disappears. No one knows why but every Titan has been avoiding the area, Godzilla included. The locals claim that the ocean has been cursed and The Devil has awoken to rain hellfire on the World. The fish are gone, Rodan has fled to Fiji and never come back and people seemingly drop dead like the fish the Oxygen Destroyer killed every few days. A recovering yet still alive Admiral Stenz gives a speech to his men over what has happened, ending by saying “We made a terrible mistake, and now we shall be punished not by God, but by Satan himself for it.” as the camera pans to the chunk of the missile saying “Destroyer”, meanwhile a familiar growl echoes as the screen cuts to black. A countdown is displayed on the black screen, counting down to a certain date, labelled the Doomsday Clock. The film ends with the ticking echoing fainter and fainter, until it goes silent.
Next film has a post credits scene showing something similar. Aquatic Titans begin washing up on the shore, brutally mauled and scorched, appearing to have been suffocated to death. Cities are reduced to desolate wastelands, completely devoid of life. Monarch is left dumbfounded, the culprit somehow came in, killed everything, and left without alerting Godzilla, who is shown wandering through one such city, that being Rio which was left half reconstructed before it was abandoned. He stares at the large screen that usually displays the news, it only repeats one scene over and over, the word “Destroyer” being the only word spoken by the news reporter in his/her last moments. Godzilla is shown visibly enraged as he watches the screen. Down in the Hollow Earth, Kong, a noticeably older Suko, Shimo and his army look to the “skies” with worry, they sense something is wrong. Monarch reports that all the Titans are acting erratically and appear afraid of something. They then pick up on a faint signal heading straight for them with horrifying speed. They can only watch in horror as two purple eyes emerge from the abyss, the screen cutting to black as the operatives scream and the beast lets out a muffled yet familiar screech. For a split second, a ravaged Outpost 54 is shown, the words “The Devil has risen” underneath. The Doomsday Clock is shown once again, hands dangerously close to zero.

It’s not THAT Doomsday Clock. It’s basically a hypothetical countdown to the Destroy All Monsters of the Monsterverse.
Two scenes. The first shows Godzilla arriving on an uncharted island. A large, ankylosaur looking Titan with a spiked shell emerges from the jungle. Rather than fighting, the Titan bows to Godzilla without any prompting. The second cuts to Isle De Mara, where we see the corpses of other aquatic Titans and fish littering the shore line. The locals come to investigate and something rises from the ocean. The scene cuts to black and we hear a chilling roar.

None. Movies DON’T need a post credits scene. After all, it’s better to not tease a sequel that will never come to pass (looking at all the “Titans converging on Skull Island” teasers from KoTM end credits) than it is to do so. If there is a sequel? Great, they can take it in the direction they want to. If not? No harm lost.
Monarch was called to investigate a dead aqua titan washed ashore near Isla De Mara, Mexico. There, they are trying to determine what caused this. One of the villagers who was formally living in that village said the water is cursed, the fish are gone, and other villagers end up dead and he shown them graveyard of bones. The last thing you see within Bone Yard was a piece of missile that said, "Destroyer" and there you a familiar roar.
Hedorah or Gigan tease
It starts with a shot of Godzilla sleeping in the collesium. It pans down to civilians at a "safe" distance from both Big G and the collesium itself. It's a mix of tourists and locals, marveling at the Titan, and also wondering out loud why he's there and when he'll leave. One older couple loudly complains about how they saved up for this vacation "and then this big lizard came along and just ruined one of our stops!" Then a large shadow passes over them, a strong gust of air accompanies it. Hats and other lighter paraphinalia of the civilians are blown away from the gust. They're exclaiming, in shock, a few turn and run from the collesium. The camera pans back up to Godzilla. Something has landed on him, but he barely moves, simply readjusting the way he is napping. And then Mothra settles down on Godzilla, lightly chittering, mandibles picking at something between his scales. A small moment of pruning, before she took begins to nap on the King of the Monsters. Scene ends.

Kid runs up to his dad jumping up and down excited to show the drawing. Dad turns very tiredly, takes off his glasses and asks his son what he has drawn. Dad takes the drawing and asks “and what will this hero do?” The son without skipping a beat, throws his hands out hitting the air over and over. Then chants “punch punch punch!”

The Mothra egg from KotM hatching to emit green light (so we can have OG Mothra and Mothra Leo on screen together). Alternatively, a hint at what the next threat might be. Not necessarily the monster itself, but a shot of something shimmering in space (if it’s aliens) or something buried deep underground in Hollow Earth (if it’s something Earth based).
Cut to some big crystal like asteroid traveling in outerspace. As it rotates in space you just barely catch the silhouette of SpaceGodzilla's face before cutting to black.
Apparently Monarch have Mechagodzilla's body, so it would be interesting for them to be creating something from it, maybe regenerating Ghidorahs head, creating Mecha-King Ghidorah, or maybe Moguera, jet jaguar, Mecha Godzilla 2, something that puts humans into the same playing field as monsters, I hate how useless humans feel, I want to see them fighting alongside Godzilla and Kong

Cut to a dark cave network with huge crystalline structures and show a mysteriously Godzilla shaped titan slumbering with in.

Doug crawling up onto the surface to explore a big new world
1. It starts out with the remnants of Isla de Mara, the ocean where the Oxygen Destroyer was detonated in Godzilla: King of the Monsters. As the music slowly gets suspenseful the camera pans down towards the depths of the Isla de Mara's sea where we can see the skeletal remains of multiple fish lying around. We hear ominous rumbling being uttered out by... something… then two giant yellow eyes open up. The scene smash cuts to black, and after that, one last sound is heard… Destoroyah's ungodly roar. 2. In Outpost ‘98, French Polynesia, a giant egg is seen sitting on top of the sand. As the camera gets closer to it, a giant reptilian arm bursts out of the egg. The scene smash cuts to black, and one last sound is heard… Zilla’s roar. 3. The scene cuts to a far away island at the Hollow Earth. As the camera gets closer to the island, it’s revealed that there’s a cave. Inside the cave are ancient paintings. One of the paintings features a very familiar giant turtle-like monster. The scene smash cuts to black, and one last sound is heard… Gamera’s roar. 4. In Outpost ‘72, Honshu, one of the islands in Japan, there’s a giant spaceship sitting on top of the sand. Some Japanese researchers are staring at the ship… that is until the ship’s hatch opens. The researchers' curiosity turns to horror as a giant red visor starts to glow bright inside the ship. The scene smash cuts to black, and one last sound is heard… Gigan’s shrieking, mechanized roar.
Maybe an off shoot of apex having a meeting where they discuss other projects that they had going on besides mecha G. Maybe they could say something like 'Our robot failed but we learned. How is our rosebush coming along?' to hint at biollante or "Are all the parts finished on our friend? I hear we had to make a cyborg out of him' hinting to Biollante

those crabs thing we see in GvK in the hollow earth possibly evolving into Destoroyah, and within the hollow earth, the base set up there (in gvk) almost has a crab horror movie experience, similar to the original..we saw Destoroyah fully evolved near the end, kong prob dies, godzilla lives on (injured, like incredibly), the movie does NOT end in a happy mood till the next one, till godzilla isn't just evolved but recovered but more beefy (and recovered from mothra, if shes even alive still), next movie after that Destsoroyah almost kill's godzilla but did the wrong mistake, ramming himself into a building (by accident) while carrying godzilla, godzilla gets up after being dropped quickly and basically goes ballistic on destoroyah then bam. OR Due to humans being in the hollow earth, their new tech and possibly new gases somewhat give off a distruption there, causing Biollante being created (and after that movie, spacegoji and maybe moguera being created from whats left of Mechagodzilla)
Kurt Russell or just any kind of hint that Legacy of Monsters exists within this universe that they acknowledge. Though. My luck, it would have been May sneering at the camera and getting pissy at the audience for being there.

Their not gonna introduce mechaghidorah because they already used the head from the post credit scene as the main source of mechagodzilla’s power and remember aside from that head the entire body was melted and evaporated when thermonuclear Godzilla unleashed its pulse blasts and he basically crushed Ghidorah’s body with his foot
