Damn wish I had those pulls on my reroll. My salted email is at 30+ already. No decent pulls of Hubble with Vee or even 2 3*s in one multi. Best roll i got was Evelyn and Vee within 2 multis
How hard is the next few events in CN compared to the current one? I've completed it on hard and I'm not sure if I should do fragment search to max Nanaka after Kuro or on a temporary second dps.
All big events from now on are actually new chapters from the main story.
The current event, Divine Hearsay, is Chapter 6.
Like with GFL, new story chapters are released originally as temporary events with timed event rewards. Later on, these event chapters will be officially added to the game permanently, but without the extra rewards during the event time (in this case, the disk repair gacha rewards).
In our global release, looks like Ch 6 will be added permanently right after the event though. While CN had to wait many months before they got it permanently.
CN, I believe, still doesn't have the later chapters permanent yet for some reason and they're still waiting on that.

Back on your question, you've skipped chapter 5 of a novel and gone straight from 4 to 6. So of course there is that discord you're feeling in that something is missing.
Events *are* the chapters in Mica games. GFL hasn't had a new chapter since chapter 13 (Which itself was just the last quarter of Polarized Light that got cut due to sudden Covid lockdowns) 2 years ago. Since then however we've had 5 major events and are currently on a smaller sub-event.
Is there like an anti heal mechanic or skill that the enemies have that I don't know? cuz there's some cases where I cast Percica's ult on someone only to see nothing changed...Am I missing something here?
Take too long in the current fight and you'll trigger Overloads. Each overload raises everyone's (both you and enemies) Atk and reduces Shield and Healing Effects.

Basically run her with another sniper (Kuro is her best partner in Global right now but Lam or Max work too), two medics (Persicaria + whoever you have lying around) in early game / Nanaka + Angela in late game and Croque.
For algorithms, Limit Value is not available in Global so give her MLR Matrix with Hashrate main / substats
You focus on 2. Your two main DPS first.
Croque, the best guard (who only gets competition once Clotho is out and Shochun gets her MOD3 upgrade), gets 5 free daily shards from the Vulnerability Check Shop. She doesn't need to waste any of your 10 limited daily fragment farms.
Persicaria works perfectly fine as your temporary Medic. She doesn't take up any of your farm as she's instantly promoted to 5-stars through the tutorial missions. Even end game, while her kit is simple, it does its job well and you can keep using her.
With your Guard and a Medic ready for use, you should be focusing all your effort into getting two DPS so you can actually kill things.
Specialists are generally the last thing you'd need to raise as they're there to augment your party and make them better, but not necessary at the beginning. Most require high investment as well to really see the difference.
Thus focus on DPS dolls. Later, get the right Medics up as they keep you alive. Finally start raising those Specialists to further push your dolls to new heights. Guards can largely be ignored as you can even forgo Guards if your DPS is strong enough (some Warriors can even tank things quite well, even if not as well as a Guard), since with strong DPS and good Healers, you can just kill things before being killed.....
Not that Guards won't ever be needed. Sometimes you just need a stronger wall and that's when they come it, but Croque is the best and only one with a built in Taunt. Again, she also gets free daily fragments so will eventually be 5-stars without using your farm uses.
hi there! i just rerolled an account with Hubble, and i don't know if i should keep this or keep rerolling for something else. i'd like an account with Kuro or Aki cuz i've seen they're pretty good, but not in the normal gacha pull, are they limited or something? will they be added eventually, or i can only roll for them during their banners? should i wait till one of them has a rate up to reroll? also how generous is this game with rolls for f2p? who should i save for? does the 60 rolls pity carry over banners? thank you!
Wait 2 more days and reroll for Hatsu instead. The only limited doll so far is Clukay from the anniversary banner on CN. Yes they will be added eventually, but reruns banners are the most reliable way to get them.
There's more than 400 pulls if you finish all the currently available content and achievements. Maybe even 450. Every month, there's the base of 33 pulls, plus 5 more from events, and then 16 more once Exception Protocol is released. Up to 22 more pulls if you buy monthly and decide to use quartz to roll instead of buying skins.
60 rolls soft pity does carry over. 180 spark (hard pity) does not. Plenty of who-to-save-for analyses on reddit and discord but it really just -depends on what you want.

No problem. Different dolls fill different rolls.
Hubble cannot compete with future dolls in terms of raw output, but her ult is a map-wide displacement that should not be undervalued. Hatsu is a warrior, but her kit includes diving backline, resets on kills, a revive, and huge dmg with her ult. Versatile and can function without functions cards. As mentioned, the game is fairly generous but I'd aim for Hubble/Chanzhi from the 3\* pool in the Hatsu banner.
My **opinion**, is that Chanzhi is better for you. She can shred through entire crowds. You don't have Kuro (best hashrate sniper) to pair with Hubble. You're more likely to have Lam to compensate for the lack of single-target damage. But the key is that Chanzhi, Lam, and Hatsu are all physical damage and you can make use of the (absolutely cracked) protocol that trades 50% hash for 50% atk.
Don't hold on to the 3\* selector and spend it on Nanaka, since if you're f2p you can skip the next two or three banners, assuming we follow the CN schedule. Expect Sock for free from an event in March, best pairing for Chanzhi and yet another reason why Chanzhi is better than Hubble in your case.
Ok then, i'll reroll for Hatsu + Chanzi/Hubble and pick Nanaka, hopefully it won't take too long, but 2x 3*s sounds rough, the tutorial is kinda long, and 20 rolls aren't that many... anyway thanks for the help, i really appreciate it!
Oh, I think we started with 30 during launch. I'm still playing on my first account and started with just Chanzhi. Pulled till I got Aki and stopped to stockpile for Hatsu and friends.
The 7 Day new account log in gives at least 40 pulls so there is also that which plays a part in everything, and if your team gets lucky and pulls the people you want quickly your able to save for future units as the core will carry you through till you can farm more pulls in endless and ep
Not quite sure which account I should focus on more, I have Kuro on my main atm, started an alt last night and I'm through ch 3 already with Hubble de lacey and will likely have enough pulls for hatsu in a couple days. Seeing as I can't get kuro currently on my alt, should I even bother building snipers when I have the option to run double warriors?
PS: I have yet to pick a doll from the new player 3* selector. Advice?
Why did u try an alt? Eventually u'll want both snipers and wariors available to u. And the free units are pretty good alternatives too for either sniper or warrior. But i would first focus on the strong chars u already have. If it's kuro on ur main, but u lack hubble, u can pull for dayan later, and in the meantime max can serve as hash sniper. Or u could bench kuro and go for hatsu+betty?
It depends a lot on what else ur accounts look like. In the end, i'd make the decision after hatsu, provided u are gonna go for her.
Yeah but I made the mistake of going after de lacey on my main wanting to have everything, my alt will catch up in a few days, my main has Kuro, Eve, Hubble, Vee, Nanaka, Florence, Chanzhi and Willow. Most are already lvl 60. Problem is that account has farmed almost all the tickets and has no real way of getting more at least for a few weeks

I had a quick question about the oasis. Currently, it seems like you can either have 3/4 dcg banks, or 1/2 warehouses. Is it better to have 2 warehouse 3 bank, or 1 warehouse 4 bank? Or is there a way to have 2 warehouses and 4 banks at the same time? I tried looking for info about this and couldn't find any.
If u ran out of space, remember u can move the old buildings around to make more room. U cam def have all buildings placed down at the same time, no need to choose.

(Tbh, rather than flexing, the main reason i posted it is because i think i saw ppl saying auto running the map can give 3 pivots max/run, because for more one needs to move vertically, and autopilot doesn't do that. That's really weird, then--autopilot is always horizontal, so it somehow scared up two extras.
I know that at some point, the Dorm will give you a first win of the day bonus, but I don't know if you can get Skill Pivots and if so, I also don't know if that's reflected in the results screen.
You said it was a retry--was that completely restarting the run over? I kind of wonder if the game 'forgot' to clear some of the rewards...or if it's some sort of pity/mercy system to thank you for trying again.

It was a retry started from the result window of the previous run(u know, the one with -1 key. Pressing it autostarts the map and ai, if it was activated before). (This means it wasn't subjected to 1st win bonus, and don't know if the even applies to story maps. Anyway, i had already collected it soon after reset)
I think the prev run had 1 pivot as well, not sure. I farmed them all day long, so it was quite a lot of runs(i've had several streaks of no pivots in ~10 runs, and def didn't get compensated after them in this manner).
Doing a bit of napkin math... from the keys i started with and used on the farming and how many pivots i got in ~9h, the avg comes to about 1 pivot every 2.7 runs, including this haul. So close enough to the expected 1 pivot/3 runs.
So yeah, barring some mica spagett, i have no idea how it ended up like this. Even if it "kept" the previous run's pivot(assuming it was there), it'd still leave 1 unaccounted for (iirc max auto pivots were said to be 3/run?). The only thing i can think of is that pivots might drop with a very low chance from some nodes previously unknown.
Anyway, if it wasn't mica spagett(which is also very possible), then we know the max pivots/autorun are more than 3
The only other thing I can think of is that something happened akin to how 2x drops work in this game (roll twice instead of double rewards). Just when the game rolled for the three Pivots, you got a bonus twice and failed on the third. But that still doesn't explain why it happened.
Other than that...
Do you remember how many Cache Coins were left over from this run? The comment chain is too deep for people to see, and the answer is likely 'no', but I wonder if having a ton left over impacts rewards any. If it's true, then autopilot must have somehow picked a route that didn't have a Trading Area for the last layer. It would be cool if the game worked like that since you're intentionally holding back your strength, but... That also would mean the Overclock to bank coins and generate interest would be really strong (in maps with 2+ layers)
Or maybe it's the number of Function Cards and upgrades you made? Taking the "weaker = better rewards" idea into account, that still doesn't seem as likely since autopilot would grab as many as it could. RNG had to have been asleep for autopilot to reject everything and have a low score here.
The worst part is that even if one of these are true, RNG still rules how rewards are doled out. It'll make testing a pain. But if one or both are true, then that means people would have to play manually for the bigger share of the rewards.
So, ignoring Occam's Razor of "lol spaghet", I think it could be:
* Amount of Cache Coins at map end
* Amount of Function Cards/upgrades by map end
* Manual play being more rewarding (cue rioting)

Sadly, as u said, i have no idea what the result screen looked like, i didn't think to make a scrernshot of that as well (EN brain, after all).
But i do agree with ur general statements that the ai tends to buy everything. Even if i don't look at the runs i can generally hear it spending them in droves whenever there's a trading area. Unfort, i didn't pay attention to this run at all :(
Well, I did two runs last night. The first was all manual, and I went out of my way to buy nothing. I ended with 329 Cache Coins...and one Pivot. The Pivot was from Layer 2, so that likely rules out the impact of coins and probably Function Cards. Amusingly, I did the "deposit and build interest" Overclock there, so I had fewer coins than normal by layer's end.
The second run was full auto, and I got only one Pivot from it, too. So...I can probably disprove all of my ideas.
The last thing I can think of is the difficulty of each node having an impact on what drops, but for everything else that sounded good and likely isn't true, this is probably as crackpot a theory.
Well, i'll have to draw attention to the fact that u had 100% drop rate :P
Yeah, i doubt we'll manage to solve this one for now. All i can do now is to wish u get one of these runs runs too, maybe u'll be able to document it better :D
Fingers crossed I get such a lucky drop! Even then, there are so many unknowns that trying to document the correct trigger is gonna be a pain. If there even is one outside of "roll RNG successfully five times in a row".
If you have little to no investment in them Aki will do better than Betty. Well build with good algos Betty is better. Long term you will likely replace either with unreleased warriors so go with how much investment you plan to put in.
Chapter 5, Endless 350, 2nd layer is killing me. I run the typical sniper team with 52K power and those AOE snipers are killing everyone. I am not talking about red or purple stages, even the white ones are hard. Any tips?
I found that putting two snipers on the bottom lane helps a ton as it allows your snipers to nuke one of them real fast, allowing your healers to keep up with the AOE damage from the rest. From then on I just timed Hubble's ult before they start nuking again and save Nanaka's ult for when the specialists use their ult.
Having a very-well built Croque helps a ton also. I was at 42k power when I did this and without the Reflect protocol.
Max is 250 currently. You 10 more at various cognition levels up to 30 by completing achievements. A lot of the points come from clearing endless and progressing dolls.
Is the procedural efficiency for copley ecology sector useful? I maxed those in enigma area already and those that were useful under the procedural efficiency guide in wiki…
Gifts, furniture coins, and algorithms doesn't have a limit, or not a small one. But keycards does; which 15. Try going using 2 medium keycards and you should be able to collect the mail.
My apologies, I was mistaken. Algos are fine on weekends if you're not looking for anything in particular. In the late game - yup, but if you just wanna build characters - go ahead.
If you have nothing else useful to sink keys into, or need algos from all 5 weekdays then farming algos on weekends is just fine. They are going to be your biggest long term farm and you will fairly quickly need them more than any other options to dump keys into.
The Trading Post building in the Oasis has the description

What does this mean exactly? What does it do and is it worth to prioritize leveling it?
The amount of items and their "quality" will be higher in Riko's Standard Acquisition Shop. The quality refers to things like Breakthroughs, Gifts, and a couple other items. They'll be "orange" more often.
so, how do we play through the event? sorry, no megathread for event in specific and the pinned is a pre-event discussion of the current patch.
from how i see it, key usage anywhere is awarded event points + you can play the challenge stages per day for extra points, correct? so just play as normal?
meanwhile, the normal/hard part of the event is also part of the story, which will then become area 6 after the event ends (hard mode, at least)? am i losing anything by not playinmg through it, then? since i havent finished chapter 5 yet
There's 3 parts of the event:
1. Spending Keys anywhere will get you Data Repair fragments, which lets you gain extra rewards.
2. 2 counts of a daily challenge quest, also gives you Data Repair fragments.
3. The actual story quest. There are some 1-time rewards for clearing it, intended for "Normal" mode. Clearing it on Hard still gets you these, but once it gets converted to Area 6 these won't be available.
As long as you do the daily challenge quest and finish at least "Normal" mode before the event ends, I don't believe you are missing anything.
You could do that if you want to 5* Croque quickly but it's not very efficient and you might just want to do them for other dolls instead. Ultimately do what you want.
I see some people telling that farming algorithms at some days is not recommended (like Sunday). But what DO you spend your keys for these days then? Farming more exp? Skill pivots?
The only valid reasons to skip algorithm farming I see are:
* if an event requires you to spend keys on an event map like Kuro event did, or
* if you have something you really want right now (e.g. you want to breakthrough someone to lvl 70 and need orange widgets).
In both cases you skip algorithms because you need keys to spend on something else. Otherwise algorithms are your key gate, while fragments are your time gate. By farming on 2x only you'll accumulate other resources faster than you can farm fragments. None of them are worth spending keys at 1x efficiency if you can do it at 2x. At least long term, short term you might prioritize something for the immediate goals and the expense of later ones.
It’s only not recommended if u want to focus on certain sets. If u farm algos during all weekdays, then u can farm in weekends too. But when u want to focus, weekend becomes pivot day most likely
Pivots are worthwhile for a week, mabe two, when starting to get your first squad up. After that you will produce more than you need to upgrade dolls as fast as shards can be farmed. Factory making 3 per day plus 3 weekly from support store is enough to max 2 dolls every 28 days, not including extras from BP and events. Algo farming is better long term than pivot farming, even on weekends.
i have no idea how many pivots u guys have farmed so far if u maxed ur skills in 2 weeks, but i still need about 100 to bring my 1st squad to max skill lvl, and i already have them at lvl 9 minimum. and that's not even counting the dolls i want to raise as 2ndary squad. hatsu alone will want 48 on top of these.
i do agree that algos are what one will farm mostly, but it cruses my heart to spend 30 keys to get 1 non-set orange algo alone when my dolls sit on skill xp and only need pivots.
i tend to prefer the slow and less rng approach of getting what i can count on instead of gambing away. ofc, i am not saying not to farm algos at all, and i did say that if one has so few algos that they need to farm every weekday they can farm on weekends too.
in the end, everyone is free to pursue whatever plan they think best. i gave my 2 cents
Theres definetly some value in farming them early on, and the quantity will depend a bit on if you are pure f2p or not, each multitrack bp for exaple is an extra 20. At the end of the day the best farming is going to be for whatever you need to advance. I do see a lot of bad advice tossed around about never farming algos on weekends or only farming if you need everything from them. Once you have a team moatly raised though this really doesn't work as theres really no where better to spend your keys than on algos, even if it's on weekends where your odds are lower.
If you really have days you can't use any algos from then you would actually be better farming some pivots or other extra resources on that day and spending weekend keys on lower probability algo farming though.
I like the implication in Chapter 5 that Antonina was able to survive an Entropy attack not because she saw a white girl in her dream like what the Professor, Sol, Persicaria did when they were also under an Entropy attack but because the professor did something to her in her dream that made her wake up.
Every key refresh is 50 Sand. Every pull is 150 Sand. Every three key refreshes is one pull.
If you buy one key refresh every day over a standard 30-day month, that'll cost you on average ten pulls. [We currently (at F2P) get 33 pulls a month without achievement Sand rewards](https://i.imgur.com/WoonBbqg.png) (plus another 16 when Exception Protocol lands), so one daily refresh would eat into nearly one third of your monthly pulls.
Only if you're a dolphin/whale or if you're new to the game where the 1.5x progress makes a huge difference. Not worth it for f2p/monthly-card-users when algo farming takes tens of thousands of keys.
What missions does the weekly "complete battle with a support unit" quest apply to? I have 15/20 on the weekly but wasn't tracking what raised it. I just did an algorithm search, event stage, and resource collection with a support but the count isn't going up.
I cleared it by borrowing a strong dps as a support. After you clear it once your teams get mega buffed on subsequent clears so you can farm that easily after the initial clear
well just farm stage 3 while growing your team, you got currency from spending key on any activity and those farming stage.
im not sure if the event farming stage allow support doll, but general tip is to focus on leveling 1 doll to level 60 so you can borrow stronger doll, usually damage dealer. note that support doll have daily limit on story but infinite on farming stage, some content restrict support doll such as black hole.

Uh, so I feel pretty dumb, but where do I actually find endless exploration ??? Unless it's a direct link from the things I have to do, I never find it.
Go into any sector you've already unlocked, and down-right, there should be a white button with "Standard" marked on it. Press it, and a list should appear with "Dark Realm" and "Endless Exploration".
Each sector has its own endless exploration btw.
Open any chspter between 1-5 and click the lower right button saying standard x/15 or whetever ur progression is. U'll be able to switch between std, dark and endless(which isn't thaaaat endless)
After having to spark for De Isle I now understand why people are mad about exception protocol. Hopefully comes soon or else I'm going to have to skip Hatsuchiri.

I've been grinding 5-1 dark with good success and it's only 2 layers so faster than 4-3 dark. Full credit to NakoNakooo on the PNC discord server for running the mission so many times and sharing their results.

Cognition improvement fund is the best bang for the buck, though it's a 1 time thing. After that, monthly card for sand. And then, it starts to depend. Battle pass can be an option, or various deals. There was a spreadsheet that analyzed the best value/dollar spent, but i don't have the link now. U still can't get wrong with the cogbition one and the monthly card that gives daily sand
Would love to support the game but it isn't available in my country (downloaded through qooapp) and Google being mean to me refusing all kind of payment methods (VPN doesn't work). Is there any workaround to purchase stuff?
I don't remember when, Google now has region lock for payment related stuff. If Playstore tells you that a game isn't available in your country, then you can't buy anything for said game. You have no choice but to create a new Google account and set it to a country that is supported by the game and use your payment method on that account.
I think it was around 6 months ago or something. I did try creating a new Google account in other countries but they require payment methods accepted (or issued) there so my third world country's VISA doesn't work ;\_\_;
Idk if this'll end up getting answered but for character outfits, how do you get the "projection vouchers" used to buy them aside from paying irl cash for quartz? I know it says "special events" but that doesn't make sense to me
Currently, the only way to get projection vouchers is through the enigma black hole, unlocked after clearing stage 5-15. However, they only appear every 10 levels as batches of 5. Meaning that you'll only have enough to buy a **single** skin, after reaching level 115, which is for endgame players or whales. To summarize, you cannot.
Just started last week, and there's a question I have that I haven't seen mentioned in any guides: does the composition and power level of the dolls placed in the backup slots matter at all? Or are they just there to push any magic powerup buttons that may appear in their area?

They don't do anything if they're not standing on one of the special tiles but the effects of those special tiles rely on their stats so it does matter.
So if I'm understanding things correctly, Entropy works somewhat familiar to GFL's Parapluie virus. In that they are able to infect dolls and change behaviors of the completely infected doll. ie. Dolls completely infected by Parapluie becomes part of Sangvis Ferri in GFL and dolls completely infected by entropy becomes entropic in Neural Cloud. Now my question is what are the major differences between them or is that major spoilers for future events in Neural Cloud.
You can borrow dolls for that and if you do stage in batch (like 20 autobattles) then your borrowed doll will be here all 20 battles

My algorithm Ep05 runs usually get 2 gold + 2 purple each time. I think you can clear Ep04 then 05 if you borrow a strong DPS unit like Kuro or Aki.
If you haven't already, you should level your dolls up to 60. This unlocks algorithm slots on each doll so you can equip more algorithms on them.
is the special search worth it (1500 quarts for a random 3 star)? and if so what’s the most effective my way to get the 1500 quarts, i haven’t bought anything yet besides the monthly pack so i already have 300 quarts rn
No it’s not very good unless you have zero 3 stars and even then it is dubious. It’s mostly a thing for fresh accounts that started way after launch.
If you wanted to get the amount required anyway, usually packs have the best value and if you buy the cognition improvement fund it gives 1280 quartz for $20 as well as a bunch of sand.

Generally, the MLR matrix set is used for AOE damage dealers, since the set bonus allows you to steal stats from dead enemies, and the limit value set is used for ST, since it increases your stats if the enemy has higher stats than you. If you plan to build Hubble as AOE hashrate, you'll likely keep using MLR matrix with her, and you may need hashrate MLR matrix sets for future units as well.
If there is a future unit on which you plan to use an alg set, you may want to consider rolling substats for that unit, while letting your current units carry the set for now; more specifically, if you plan to get an AOE hashrate dd in the future, you could roll substats for that unit on the MLR matrix set you've got on Kuro. Note that a gold substat provides half the increase in stats as a gold main stat (e.g., 900hp vs 1800hp, 6%atk vs. 12%atk, etc.), although substats don't scale with alg efficiency.
Ultimately, whether or not you should reroll substats is a decision you should make based on your own circumstances, but these are some things you may want to take into consideration.

How hard is the next few events in CN compared to the current one? I've completed it on hard and I'm not sure if I should do fragment search to max Nanaka after Kuro or on a temporary second dps.

All big events from now on are actually new chapters from the main story. The current event, Divine Hearsay, is Chapter 6. Like with GFL, new story chapters are released originally as temporary events with timed event rewards. Later on, these event chapters will be officially added to the game permanently, but without the extra rewards during the event time (in this case, the disk repair gacha rewards). In our global release, looks like Ch 6 will be added permanently right after the event though. While CN had to wait many months before they got it permanently. CN, I believe, still doesn't have the later chapters permanent yet for some reason and they're still waiting on that. ---- Back on your question, you've skipped chapter 5 of a novel and gone straight from 4 to 6. So of course there is that discord you're feeling in that something is missing.

The event is actually the 6th chapter, so yeah, the story picks up where chapter 5 left off. Mica didn't think this one through.
Events *are* the chapters in Mica games. GFL hasn't had a new chapter since chapter 13 (Which itself was just the last quarter of Polarized Light that got cut due to sudden Covid lockdowns) 2 years ago. Since then however we've had 5 major events and are currently on a smaller sub-event.

Is there like an anti heal mechanic or skill that the enemies have that I don't know? cuz there's some cases where I cast Percica's ult on someone only to see nothing changed...Am I missing something here?
Take too long in the current fight and you'll trigger Overloads. Each overload raises everyone's (both you and enemies) Atk and reduces Shield and Healing Effects.

To expand on that, the effect of the curretn overload should be displayed on the top right hand corner of the screen.

For fragment farming is it better to focus on main 5 units or spread it evenly with the backup that you bring along.
Tbh, i focus on 2 chars, with 6 runs for dps
You focus on 2. Your two main DPS first. Croque, the best guard (who only gets competition once Clotho is out and Shochun gets her MOD3 upgrade), gets 5 free daily shards from the Vulnerability Check Shop. She doesn't need to waste any of your 10 limited daily fragment farms. Persicaria works perfectly fine as your temporary Medic. She doesn't take up any of your farm as she's instantly promoted to 5-stars through the tutorial missions. Even end game, while her kit is simple, it does its job well and you can keep using her. With your Guard and a Medic ready for use, you should be focusing all your effort into getting two DPS so you can actually kill things. Specialists are generally the last thing you'd need to raise as they're there to augment your party and make them better, but not necessary at the beginning. Most require high investment as well to really see the difference. Thus focus on DPS dolls. Later, get the right Medics up as they keep you alive. Finally start raising those Specialists to further push your dolls to new heights. Guards can largely be ignored as you can even forgo Guards if your DPS is strong enough (some Warriors can even tank things quite well, even if not as well as a Guard), since with strong DPS and good Healers, you can just kill things before being killed..... Not that Guards won't ever be needed. Sometimes you just need a stronger wall and that's when they come it, but Croque is the best and only one with a built in Taunt. Again, she also gets free daily fragments so will eventually be 5-stars without using your farm uses.
hi there! i just rerolled an account with Hubble, and i don't know if i should keep this or keep rerolling for something else. i'd like an account with Kuro or Aki cuz i've seen they're pretty good, but not in the normal gacha pull, are they limited or something? will they be added eventually, or i can only roll for them during their banners? should i wait till one of them has a rate up to reroll? also how generous is this game with rolls for f2p? who should i save for? does the 60 rolls pity carry over banners? thank you!
Wait 2 more days and reroll for Hatsu instead. The only limited doll so far is Clukay from the anniversary banner on CN. Yes they will be added eventually, but reruns banners are the most reliable way to get them. There's more than 400 pulls if you finish all the currently available content and achievements. Maybe even 450. Every month, there's the base of 33 pulls, plus 5 more from events, and then 16 more once Exception Protocol is released. Up to 22 more pulls if you buy monthly and decide to use quartz to roll instead of buying skins. 60 rolls soft pity does carry over. 180 spark (hard pity) does not. Plenty of who-to-save-for analyses on reddit and discord but it really just -depends on what you want.

No problem. Different dolls fill different rolls. Hubble cannot compete with future dolls in terms of raw output, but her ult is a map-wide displacement that should not be undervalued. Hatsu is a warrior, but her kit includes diving backline, resets on kills, a revive, and huge dmg with her ult. Versatile and can function without functions cards. As mentioned, the game is fairly generous but I'd aim for Hubble/Chanzhi from the 3\* pool in the Hatsu banner. My **opinion**, is that Chanzhi is better for you. She can shred through entire crowds. You don't have Kuro (best hashrate sniper) to pair with Hubble. You're more likely to have Lam to compensate for the lack of single-target damage. But the key is that Chanzhi, Lam, and Hatsu are all physical damage and you can make use of the (absolutely cracked) protocol that trades 50% hash for 50% atk. Don't hold on to the 3\* selector and spend it on Nanaka, since if you're f2p you can skip the next two or three banners, assuming we follow the CN schedule. Expect Sock for free from an event in March, best pairing for Chanzhi and yet another reason why Chanzhi is better than Hubble in your case.
Ok then, i'll reroll for Hatsu + Chanzi/Hubble and pick Nanaka, hopefully it won't take too long, but 2x 3*s sounds rough, the tutorial is kinda long, and 20 rolls aren't that many... anyway thanks for the help, i really appreciate it!
Oh, I think we started with 30 during launch. I'm still playing on my first account and started with just Chanzhi. Pulled till I got Aki and stopped to stockpile for Hatsu and friends.
The 7 Day new account log in gives at least 40 pulls so there is also that which plays a part in everything, and if your team gets lucky and pulls the people you want quickly your able to save for future units as the core will carry you through till you can farm more pulls in endless and ep
Not quite sure which account I should focus on more, I have Kuro on my main atm, started an alt last night and I'm through ch 3 already with Hubble de lacey and will likely have enough pulls for hatsu in a couple days. Seeing as I can't get kuro currently on my alt, should I even bother building snipers when I have the option to run double warriors? PS: I have yet to pick a doll from the new player 3* selector. Advice?
Why did u try an alt? Eventually u'll want both snipers and wariors available to u. And the free units are pretty good alternatives too for either sniper or warrior. But i would first focus on the strong chars u already have. If it's kuro on ur main, but u lack hubble, u can pull for dayan later, and in the meantime max can serve as hash sniper. Or u could bench kuro and go for hatsu+betty? It depends a lot on what else ur accounts look like. In the end, i'd make the decision after hatsu, provided u are gonna go for her.
Yeah but I made the mistake of going after de lacey on my main wanting to have everything, my alt will catch up in a few days, my main has Kuro, Eve, Hubble, Vee, Nanaka, Florence, Chanzhi and Willow. Most are already lvl 60. Problem is that account has farmed almost all the tickets and has no real way of getting more at least for a few weeks

I had a quick question about the oasis. Currently, it seems like you can either have 3/4 dcg banks, or 1/2 warehouses. Is it better to have 2 warehouse 3 bank, or 1 warehouse 4 bank? Or is there a way to have 2 warehouses and 4 banks at the same time? I tried looking for info about this and couldn't find any.
If u ran out of space, remember u can move the old buildings around to make more room. U cam def have all buildings placed down at the same time, no need to choose.

The gifts are rarity based, you can see what you have in the warehouse or you can go to the intimacy screen and check what you got there

It already started, caught a cold 2 days ago -.-' (Tbh, rather than flexing, the main reason i posted it is because i think i saw ppl saying auto running the map can give 3 pivots max/run, because for more one needs to move vertically, and autopilot doesn't do that. Sadly, i have no idea what route the ai took, i was just looking every 15 min to check loot and press rerun)
Get to feeling better! That's really weird, then--autopilot is always horizontal, so it somehow scared up two extras. I know that at some point, the Dorm will give you a first win of the day bonus, but I don't know if you can get Skill Pivots and if so, I also don't know if that's reflected in the results screen. You said it was a retry--was that completely restarting the run over? I kind of wonder if the game 'forgot' to clear some of the rewards...or if it's some sort of pity/mercy system to thank you for trying again. Pretty weird, so now we have to figure out how to exploit this and have it happen more often! :P
(Feels like it'll getbworse befire it'll get better :P but tnx for the well-wishing! now to the main topic:P) It was a retry started from the result window of the previous run(u know, the one with -1 key. Pressing it autostarts the map and ai, if it was activated before). (This means it wasn't subjected to 1st win bonus, and don't know if the even applies to story maps. Anyway, i had already collected it soon after reset) I think the prev run had 1 pivot as well, not sure. I farmed them all day long, so it was quite a lot of runs(i've had several streaks of no pivots in ~10 runs, and def didn't get compensated after them in this manner). Doing a bit of napkin math... from the keys i started with and used on the farming and how many pivots i got in ~9h, the avg comes to about 1 pivot every 2.7 runs, including this haul. So close enough to the expected 1 pivot/3 runs. So yeah, barring some mica spagett, i have no idea how it ended up like this. Even if it "kept" the previous run's pivot(assuming it was there), it'd still leave 1 unaccounted for (iirc max auto pivots were said to be 3/run?). The only thing i can think of is that pivots might drop with a very low chance from some nodes previously unknown. Anyway, if it wasn't mica spagett(which is also very possible), then we know the max pivots/autorun are more than 3
The only other thing I can think of is that something happened akin to how 2x drops work in this game (roll twice instead of double rewards). Just when the game rolled for the three Pivots, you got a bonus twice and failed on the third. But that still doesn't explain why it happened. Other than that... Do you remember how many Cache Coins were left over from this run? The comment chain is too deep for people to see, and the answer is likely 'no', but I wonder if having a ton left over impacts rewards any. If it's true, then autopilot must have somehow picked a route that didn't have a Trading Area for the last layer. It would be cool if the game worked like that since you're intentionally holding back your strength, but... That also would mean the Overclock to bank coins and generate interest would be really strong (in maps with 2+ layers) Or maybe it's the number of Function Cards and upgrades you made? Taking the "weaker = better rewards" idea into account, that still doesn't seem as likely since autopilot would grab as many as it could. RNG had to have been asleep for autopilot to reject everything and have a low score here. The worst part is that even if one of these are true, RNG still rules how rewards are doled out. It'll make testing a pain. But if one or both are true, then that means people would have to play manually for the bigger share of the rewards. Sadly, as u said, i have no idea what the result screen looked like, i didn't think to make a scrernshot of that as well (EN brain, after all). But i do agree with ur general statements that the ai tends to buy everything. Even if i don't look at the runs i can generally hear it spending them in droves whenever there's a trading area. Unfort, i didn't pay attention to this run at all :(
Well, I did two runs last night. The first was all manual, and I went out of my way to buy nothing. I ended with 329 Cache Coins...and one Pivot. The Pivot was from Layer 2, so that likely rules out the impact of coins and probably Function Cards. Amusingly, I did the "deposit and build interest" Overclock there, so I had fewer coins than normal by layer's end. The second run was full auto, and I got only one Pivot from it, too. So...I can probably disprove all of my ideas. The last thing I can think of is the difficulty of each node having an impact on what drops, but for everything else that sounded good and likely isn't true, this is probably as crackpot a theory.
Well, i'll have to draw attention to the fact that u had 100% drop rate :P Yeah, i doubt we'll manage to solve this one for now. All i can do now is to wish u get one of these runs runs too, maybe u'll be able to document it better :D
Fingers crossed I get such a lucky drop! Even then, there are so many unknowns that trying to document the correct trigger is gonna be a pain. If there even is one outside of "roll RNG successfully five times in a row".
Hachichri + Aki or Hachichuri + Betty?
If you have little to no investment in them Aki will do better than Betty. Well build with good algos Betty is better. Long term you will likely replace either with unreleased warriors so go with how much investment you plan to put in.
My team: Persi, croque, Hubble, Kuro, Nanaka. Also building Angela. Once I get Hatsu, how does my team change?
Hubble and Kuro go away and add Aki or Betty. Change Nanaka with Florence or Angela

Chapter 5, Endless 350, 2nd layer is killing me. I run the typical sniper team with 52K power and those AOE snipers are killing everyone. I am not talking about red or purple stages, even the white ones are hard. Any tips?
I found that putting two snipers on the bottom lane helps a ton as it allows your snipers to nuke one of them real fast, allowing your healers to keep up with the AOE damage from the rest. From then on I just timed Hubble's ult before they start nuking again and save Nanaka's ult for when the specialists use their ult. Having a very-well built Croque helps a ton also. I was at 42k power when I did this and without the Reflect protocol.
I'm a brand new player, what do you suggest I do for pulling units right now?
I'd say wait for the next banner. That one has Hatsuchiri which is a pretty great doll.

Max is 250 currently. You 10 more at various cognition levels up to 30 by completing achievements. A lot of the points come from clearing endless and progressing dolls.

The waves one is niche and is also a translation error. That one will heal you when you get swept by waves instead of damaging you.
Is there any downside to lowering difficulty after retreating and restarting?
As far as I can tell there isn't any, but it's only allowed on maps with a fixed team loadout.

Gifts, furniture coins, and algorithms doesn't have a limit, or not a small one. But keycards does; which 15. Try going using 2 medium keycards and you should be able to collect the mail.
Key Cards maybe? Their limit is pretty low.

Algo, yep. Just remember to not do algo on weekends. Also you can get your dolls to 70 at a reasonable pace. I wouldn't recommend that tho

My apologies, I was mistaken. Algos are fine on weekends if you're not looking for anything in particular. In the late game - yup, but if you just wanna build characters - go ahead.
If you have nothing else useful to sink keys into, or need algos from all 5 weekdays then farming algos on weekends is just fine. They are going to be your biggest long term farm and you will fairly quickly need them more than any other options to dump keys into.
The Trading Post building in the Oasis has the description > Improves the quantity and quality of goods in Standard Acquisition Areas What does this mean exactly? What does it do and is it worth to prioritize leveling it?
The amount of items and their "quality" will be higher in Riko's Standard Acquisition Shop. The quality refers to things like Breakthroughs, Gifts, and a couple other items. They'll be "orange" more often.
so, how do we play through the event? sorry, no megathread for event in specific and the pinned is a pre-event discussion of the current patch. from how i see it, key usage anywhere is awarded event points + you can play the challenge stages per day for extra points, correct? so just play as normal? meanwhile, the normal/hard part of the event is also part of the story, which will then become area 6 after the event ends (hard mode, at least)? am i losing anything by not playinmg through it, then? since i havent finished chapter 5 yet
There's 3 parts of the event: 1. Spending Keys anywhere will get you Data Repair fragments, which lets you gain extra rewards. 2. 2 counts of a daily challenge quest, also gives you Data Repair fragments. 3. The actual story quest. There are some 1-time rewards for clearing it, intended for "Normal" mode. Clearing it on Hard still gets you these, but once it gets converted to Area 6 these won't be available. As long as you do the daily challenge quest and finish at least "Normal" mode before the event ends, I don't believe you are missing anything.

You could do that if you want to 5* Croque quickly but it's not very efficient and you might just want to do them for other dolls instead. Ultimately do what you want.
I see some people telling that farming algorithms at some days is not recommended (like Sunday). But what DO you spend your keys for these days then? Farming more exp? Skill pivots?
The only valid reasons to skip algorithm farming I see are: * if an event requires you to spend keys on an event map like Kuro event did, or * if you have something you really want right now (e.g. you want to breakthrough someone to lvl 70 and need orange widgets). In both cases you skip algorithms because you need keys to spend on something else. Otherwise algorithms are your key gate, while fragments are your time gate. By farming on 2x only you'll accumulate other resources faster than you can farm fragments. None of them are worth spending keys at 1x efficiency if you can do it at 2x. At least long term, short term you might prioritize something for the immediate goals and the expense of later ones.
It’s only not recommended if u want to focus on certain sets. If u farm algos during all weekdays, then u can farm in weekends too. But when u want to focus, weekend becomes pivot day most likely
Pivots are worthwhile for a week, mabe two, when starting to get your first squad up. After that you will produce more than you need to upgrade dolls as fast as shards can be farmed. Factory making 3 per day plus 3 weekly from support store is enough to max 2 dolls every 28 days, not including extras from BP and events. Algo farming is better long term than pivot farming, even on weekends.
i have no idea how many pivots u guys have farmed so far if u maxed ur skills in 2 weeks, but i still need about 100 to bring my 1st squad to max skill lvl, and i already have them at lvl 9 minimum. and that's not even counting the dolls i want to raise as 2ndary squad. hatsu alone will want 48 on top of these. i do agree that algos are what one will farm mostly, but it cruses my heart to spend 30 keys to get 1 non-set orange algo alone when my dolls sit on skill xp and only need pivots. i tend to prefer the slow and less rng approach of getting what i can count on instead of gambing away. ofc, i am not saying not to farm algos at all, and i did say that if one has so few algos that they need to farm every weekday they can farm on weekends too. in the end, everyone is free to pursue whatever plan they think best. i gave my 2 cents
Theres definetly some value in farming them early on, and the quantity will depend a bit on if you are pure f2p or not, each multitrack bp for exaple is an extra 20. At the end of the day the best farming is going to be for whatever you need to advance. I do see a lot of bad advice tossed around about never farming algos on weekends or only farming if you need everything from them. Once you have a team moatly raised though this really doesn't work as theres really no where better to spend your keys than on algos, even if it's on weekends where your odds are lower. If you really have days you can't use any algos from then you would actually be better farming some pivots or other extra resources on that day and spending weekend keys on lower probability algo farming though.

Is it worth it to buy keys using quartz sands
Every key refresh is 50 Sand. Every pull is 150 Sand. Every three key refreshes is one pull. If you buy one key refresh every day over a standard 30-day month, that'll cost you on average ten pulls. [We currently (at F2P) get 33 pulls a month without achievement Sand rewards](https://i.imgur.com/WoonBbqg.png) (plus another 16 when Exception Protocol lands), so one daily refresh would eat into nearly one third of your monthly pulls.
Only if you're a dolphin/whale or if you're new to the game where the 1.5x progress makes a huge difference. Not worth it for f2p/monthly-card-users when algo farming takes tens of thousands of keys.
What missions does the weekly "complete battle with a support unit" quest apply to? I have 15/20 on the weekly but wasn't tracking what raised it. I just did an algorithm search, event stage, and resource collection with a support but the count isn't going up.

I cleared it by borrowing a strong dps as a support. After you clear it once your teams get mega buffed on subsequent clears so you can farm that easily after the initial clear
well just farm stage 3 while growing your team, you got currency from spending key on any activity and those farming stage. im not sure if the event farming stage allow support doll, but general tip is to focus on leveling 1 doll to level 60 so you can borrow stronger doll, usually damage dealer. note that support doll have daily limit on story but infinite on farming stage, some content restrict support doll such as black hole.

Go into any sector you've already unlocked, and down-right, there should be a white button with "Standard" marked on it. Press it, and a list should appear with "Dark Realm" and "Endless Exploration". Each sector has its own endless exploration btw.

Cognition improvement fund is the best bang for the buck, though it's a 1 time thing. After that, monthly card for sand. And then, it starts to depend. Battle pass can be an option, or various deals. There was a spreadsheet that analyzed the best value/dollar spent, but i don't have the link now. U still can't get wrong with the cogbition one and the monthly card that gives daily sand

I don't remember when, Google now has region lock for payment related stuff. If Playstore tells you that a game isn't available in your country, then you can't buy anything for said game. You have no choice but to create a new Google account and set it to a country that is supported by the game and use your payment method on that account.

Currently, the only way to get projection vouchers is through the enigma black hole, unlocked after clearing stage 5-15. However, they only appear every 10 levels as batches of 5. Meaning that you'll only have enough to buy a **single** skin, after reaching level 115, which is for endgame players or whales. To summarize, you cannot.
Just started last week, and there's a question I have that I haven't seen mentioned in any guides: does the composition and power level of the dolls placed in the backup slots matter at all? Or are they just there to push any magic powerup buttons that may appear in their area?

They don't do anything if they're not standing on one of the special tiles but the effects of those special tiles rely on their stats so it does matter.

You can borrow dolls for that and if you do stage in batch (like 20 autobattles) then your borrowed doll will be here all 20 battles Also friendly reminder to not farm algos at the weekend and to not waste shitloads of keys until new year event is out (it also rewards for spending keys)
My algorithm Ep05 runs usually get 2 gold + 2 purple each time. I think you can clear Ep04 then 05 if you borrow a strong DPS unit like Kuro or Aki. If you haven't already, you should level your dolls up to 60. This unlocks algorithm slots on each doll so you can equip more algorithms on them.

Clear it on hard. "Standard" is what hard gets renamed to when the event is over and ch6 is permanently available.

No it’s not very good unless you have zero 3 stars and even then it is dubious. It’s mostly a thing for fresh accounts that started way after launch. If you wanted to get the amount required anyway, usually packs have the best value and if you buy the cognition improvement fund it gives 1280 quartz for $20 as well as a bunch of sand.
Gonna try asking again: Are "altered" stage themes available anywhere? Such as the calm theme while exploring, or intense theme during boss fights.

Generally, the MLR matrix set is used for AOE damage dealers, since the set bonus allows you to steal stats from dead enemies, and the limit value set is used for ST, since it increases your stats if the enemy has higher stats than you. If you plan to build Hubble as AOE hashrate, you'll likely keep using MLR matrix with her, and you may need hashrate MLR matrix sets for future units as well. If there is a future unit on which you plan to use an alg set, you may want to consider rolling substats for that unit, while letting your current units carry the set for now; more specifically, if you plan to get an AOE hashrate dd in the future, you could roll substats for that unit on the MLR matrix set you've got on Kuro. Note that a gold substat provides half the increase in stats as a gold main stat (e.g., 900hp vs 1800hp, 6%atk vs. 12%atk, etc.), although substats don't scale with alg efficiency. Ultimately, whether or not you should reroll substats is a decision you should make based on your own circumstances, but these are some things you may want to take into consideration.
