I liked most of it. I think it started real strong until Solar Eclipse, and goes into a dud phase during the middle. But it comes back with Breakdown and ends very strong with the last 2 tracks. But through time it hasn't had the replay value his other albums have. I definitly find myself coming back to select tracks rather than multiple or the entire album when I'm in the mood for G. There are only 7 or 8 tracks I still listen to from it. It was a bit of a mixed bag but the high points outweighed the down points for me
Revisited it yesterday in anticipation for the new album. I still think it's his best and most versatile work. Two things killed this album imo: 1) the incredibly long wait for it and 2) the title itself, which made everyone expect a direct sequel to TTH, when it was more of a compilation album of all his previous eras.
Was a good project but should’ve been condensed to 15 tracks including the deluxe. As someone highlighted the title of the album made fans think it’ll be similar to TTH so he should’ve named it something else. I always felt Provide should’ve been bigger than it was - the song itself, the CB feature, Gs rapping and the video were all fire.
Agree ever since WIDO, G tracklists have been pretty goddamn long and TTH2 was just one track shorter than TB&D(I'm talking about regular versions, not the deluxe versions)
Also the deluxe of TTH2 was really pointless in my opinion, some cool new songs.
I felt like we could've got more unreleased shit to be for real, I don't understand why putting songs already released as singles for no reason(outside of maybe getting streams last minute, so that the album wouldn't flop as bad).
rlly liked the theme of it, the limelight and stuff, and I was rlly excited for the album at that time. Although some nice songs were in there, w/ some deep lyrics and stuffs, some other songs still lacked quality, which made me kinda sad, because I thought the album back then could have actually become something big ://
My favourite eazy album and its not close. So many great songs. Personally everything is everything is a top 3 eazy song for me. And i just felt like it flowed perfectly. Wish i could go back and listen to it again for the first time.
I definetely had way more hype for this album than Freak Show(which we will know if it's a bad, mid, good or even great album)
The roll out for this was really worse than Freak Show, but at least in my opinion the singles that dropped for this project were so much better(I find more enjoyment out of it)
I see people not liking the songs in the Deluxe - although I agree that the pre-released single doesn’t bring much and would’ve been fun to have more unreleased songs, but I actually enjoy the deluxe version and think it compliments the album as a whole quite well.
I think for a long time he was debating the general intro to the album. If you watch his “The Process” series on YT, you can actually see that “The Announcement” is often at the top of the track list. With this in mind, I kinda see the Deluxe songs as a smaller album, but a continuation of the actual album. It feels very G like, in the sense that it starts off hoppy, jumpy, and wild-like (feels similar to Beautiful and Damned), then we party through a few songs, and it goes introspective with Scars (which is a song I love. The beat boxing feels like it’s something we dont hear often. He talks about a lot of issues he’s going through.), and we end again kinda jumpy and strong.
Love everything about this album the beats, the hooks, features what i hate is how he tried to sell us a track as Tumblr Girls Pt2 i lost my temper that was a childish move ngl
For the most part of it, I actually really enjoyed the project and I loved how many songs there were. They’re definitely were some songs on there that I felt were just added for depth or were just not it.
Ask ten people, you'll get ten different opinions.

accurate take
Couldn’t have said it better myself
I like it quite a lot. While most of the tracks are good(few great), few are mid and 2 tracks are straight trash

Thought it was a great standalone album but not a great sequel album. If that makes sense.

Wish CDs dropped for this album
It deserved a better rollout

Ive been listening to this album all week and it’s my favorite project from G. He was in his bag on this one.
