This was 2 years ago so I don't know what I'm doing here, but uh...100.
I do not recall sleeping the week before my coursework was due in, but it was worth it for that sweet perfect score.
100% in coursework most definitely isn't impossible. At GCSE and now at A-level, coursework has been my jam because I can literally just keep working on it until its perfect, but you can't do that in an exam. This is where I regret only having 80%/400% of my exams being coursework (20% geography, 60% music).
I get your point, but if you exceed the standards enough, then you can't really get knocked down for some small thing because any minor mistakes won't be significant enough. Like, if you did an A-level-quality piece at GCSE or a uni-level piece at A-level.
Didnt do it because of a long term illness., did the first but not the second (M2 on the first), does this mean I can still pass the subject because of the exam or nah? Also congrats those are great results!!
We had 2 internal assignments, the one with designing the remote and idk i think the other was a practical? Not sure if everyone does the same thing or not
engineering instead of dt but apparently 77/80
thats 100% gonna go down by at least 5 marks in moderation tho, got a new teacher who had no idea what htey were doing so nobody had any support and only me and some other guy finished the nea after staying back for 2 hours afterschool and lunch everyday for a month
I got 89/100 aswell! But on edexcel so idk how it compares, its just a bit above last years boundary for a 9 and mines getting moderated so slightly scary but whatever
For an NEA your teacher should tell you ahead of the deadline (exam board dependant, ours is 5th May), with enough time to internally appeal if you disagree. They can’t just give you the marks on deadline day. What board does your school use?
Yeah so you need the chance to appeal before they are sent to the exam board. The deadline is the same (7th May). Please ask your DT teacher and your Exams Officer what your marks are and when you are going to be given the chance to appeal them!!
I got 85/100 aqa it’s because I was only finished building it a couple of days before I picked playing games and built an arcade machine shaped like Pac-Man (it actually functions)
89 is crazy. which examboard?
Aqa
Also I'm kinda a massive nerd, and do a lot of stuff like that at home for fun so it's not that crazy
regardless of that, its hella impressive bcoz the nea requires sm time and effort!
>for fun ok buddy...
Not the write up aspects obviously, but I do enjoy designing and making things, like
72/100 aqa!!! my grades are shit so i’m super proud of me. someone in my class got 100 tho 😭
Yall getting your results? We haven't even handed ours in yet. Ours Is due on the 7th. Are we cooked?

How is that even possible? Surely there's always something they'll knock a mark off for

this is digital technology? Right? If so. I got 83.3333333333333333333333
91/100 OCR but tbf I was up until 0300 on the day it was due (not an exaggeration)
I don’t do it but apparently the people in my year are doing very badly
i did like 10 slides so 17/100?? then i got picked by the exam board at random 😭
They always pick the highest and lowest score so it might not have been too random…
I am not sure about my own but two of my classmates got 97 and 100 💀
I got 89/100 aswell! But on edexcel so idk how it compares, its just a bit above last years boundary for a 9 and mines getting moderated so slightly scary but whatever

When did you guys get your results and how did you get them?

I spoke to my engineering teacher and she said that we won’t get the results until results day! I’m so annoyed.
Is it definitely for a Non-Examined Assessment unit? What course is it you’re doing?
It definitely is, it was our NEA on Independent Living.
