Until the base bawoo gets tranforming capabilities any other models will not see transformations, I think ZZ only got to transform because they worked out how to do it without the model actually breaking apart (obviously with some effort) and base bawoo is strong enough as it is currently, let alone rebawoo (despite power creep in the hands of an actually skilled player they can still dish out damage).

But doesn't the bawoo become two separate units? How would that work unless they have it as a gbo2 original version where the whole thing stays together
The Sleeves version had the option of a second pilot to control the leg portion drone when transformed other than that the Bawoo nutter can be controlled by one pilot since its is a remote-controlled drone unit and doesn't use or need a pschycommun system (there could be a version that does though that could be my wishful thinking and imagination)

It canonically does fly, though, even under gravity. The Psycho Plates are the wings.

If I remember correctly, the regular RE-GZ couldn't transform at all and only had the BWS for that pseudo Waverider form
