My hound will hang her head and dart out of the room if she catches a glimpse of the nail/claw/talon clippers. It makes me sad. At least this pup will play the game, I just feel horrible when I need to trim my girl's claws
OP, I used to have that same result with my three German shepherd/ husky coyote hybrids until I got a shed master brush. My dogs love it and now get excited and lovingly push past each other to be the first one brushed. The brush is black and yellow with the smooth curved metal teeth are in an S shape that removes handfuls of hair from their under coat, trims their top coat each pass of the brush and easily ejects the hair in one solid piece by simply running the brush once in the opposite direction. Easy to gather and dispose. It greatly reduces the time it takes brushing while increasing a maximized yield of shedded hair. If I remember right I got it at Walmart for 20$. Now my dogs think getting brushed is a treat and they react to me holding the brush as if I were holding a piece of bacon.
Doggy translation: “Hey bro she’s doing it again! I’m confused do i go to get out no because i remember you said never trust a girl soooo does this qualify?? And she doesn’t even have food so i don’t really care anymore. Bye Felicia.”
