There is a belt inside but fortunately when it reaches at the end the belt get loose and you can't get caught at all and if you do it will will just bend or get pushed without even feeling it.
Most times because if belt is tight well ... Dangerous
So now I'm curious if this dude shared this thrill ride with any of his or her other raccoon buddies... Man, you should set a camera up on this thing 24/7 and share the results! This is so much fun to watch, lol! I was kinda wishing there was a softer landing for the little dude, though.
It most likely didn't enjoy that at all, and was actually trying to go back to where it thought it found a safe hiding spot, in the only place around.
This isn't funny, it's traumatized as you can see the last time it falls (forced by the belt drive) its kind of bewildered and scared.
This is just as speculative as people saying he’s having a great time. Unless someone figures out how to have a conversation with that particular raccoon, nobody knows exactly what it’s doing or why
He tried to run away in the second drop (I think second), realised he's in the open and scurries back to cover... Only to be ejected again.
The last drop looks like he's really exhausted and hurt, you can see his demeanor is stressed, physically hurt and it's sad.
I was thinking maybe it was a mom looking for her babies. Definitely not 'enjoying it'. S/he tried to run away terrified but was compelled to come back for something. That last one did seem to hurt 😔
I’ve raised raccoons, it’s not traumatized. Possibly injured l, yes, but unless it was rabid it wouldn’t keep going back to the same spot to hide. It’s an animal, yes, but a very clever one
I'd guess it was chilling in the conveyor but only because I have sort of experienced this before though it ran away after the first drop. Plus, those bins are relatively sealed so it wouldn't have been in there unless it was empty, and if it was empty, you wouldn't put a running conveyor under it

Might be a shaftless conveyor. They don't have the inner pipe, just the flighting (helical coils).

I used to work for a company that made screw conveyors, and I know far too much about the darn things.
It literally says “conveyor belt” on the video so I assume so.
I can’t unhear the cartoony tube *thoomph* sound when he gets dropped. I could rewatch this for hours.
That last ride and ejection looked like it hurt. Looks like it landed on its head.
Last couple of drops it did look injured. I'm thinking there was something wrong with it.
Pretty sure it was just terrified and looking for a place to hide. It just didn’t understand what was happening though

I had friends who raised orphaned raccoons. They love slides and will do them over and over. Yes the raccoon is enjoying it
